The best steak sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is out of this world and was nicely toasted. The sandwich was hot and steaming. The steak was beefy and flavorful. Lots of melted cheese. The employees were friendly and made it exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be back but my problem is deciding what to get next. Do something good for yourself and check this place out.

If you have never been to the big city, this is kind of what it feels like in one of the Burroughs. If you haven't been to the big city in a while, this will cure your home sickness! Cristina, Gus, Angelo, Renae, and Francesca will make you feel like family... and that's because they are. The food is made with pride and care. You won't leave hungry, and they are grossly under priced for what you get. They serve hot and cold subs (Boarshead) or hot meals and salads. There aren't any suds unless you wat to wash dishes in the back... but there are fountain and canned drinks. I'd say it's your typical Italian restaurant, but there's nothing typical about it. It's worth the trip at least once for someone who's never been no matter where you're coming from. They close at 3pm and only accept cash, so be prepared! I've been going there for over 25 years, but this is the first time I've ever told a complete stranger anything about them. Tell them Little Mike sent you if you want to get an earful!

Love this place! My first time here and they made me feel like I was part of the family! I had the italian sub, highly recommend it. As well as the greek salad. I cant wait to come back and try something new.

I’ve been going to Christina’s Subs since I was a kid and I’m 40 now! The subs are delicious with very generous portions of meat and cheese. Buy the whole sub and it will feed 2 grown adults guaranteed! The only authentic Italian sub in all of Marion County.

This is an old world a bit rustic feel Sub shop diner. Great friendly people. A real good choice for lunch or dinner. Was treated very well. This place is worth your stop in. If you can make it a regular lunch stop. Bring CASH only. Can't accept cards.

I drive almost 2 hours to get their Antipasto salads and Italian subs! They give the authentic Italian taste every single time! It is such a treat!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Christina's Subs! We tried both the Italian and the Steak and Cheese sandwiches, and they were phenomenal. The portions were generous, and each bite was packed with flavor. The Italian sandwich was a perfect balance of meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies, all perfectly seasoned. The Steak and Cheese was equally impressive, with tender, juicy steak and melty cheese that made every bite a delight. Talk about old school! Reminds me of when I was a kid, before sub way and its plastic food. Family owned, aweome food. EVERYTHING is good. I came for itilian (with sweet peppers) and stayed for the unique steak and cheese. If you get there early enough there might be sausage lwft, thats a real treat of a sandwich.

Their meatball sub is absolutely delicious and have tried the Italian mix so good. They’ve always been respectful and friendly and I order there often. I would highly recommend them for an excellent lunch sandwich at a reasonable rate PS way better than Subway.

We get the antipasto salad here all the time. It’s a meal of a salad as it should be. So many places skimp their customers now days. Christina’s makes us feel appreciated. It’s worth the 40 minute drive for us.

This is a family owned and run deli. We assumed all the diners were family or locals as they shouted across the restaurant to each other. You pick up your order at the counter. No one came to the table but they did call across the room to see if the food was ok. I gave them a 👍. Their pricing is very reasonable. They do a lot of take out...several people came in to pick up their orders. Very nice people and the food was good but more for local clientele.

As always they were busy but took everyone in an orderly fashion. Very accomodating. Below is the antipasto I got. My dining partner got a steak, cheese and onion sub.

Best Italian and Cheesesteak around

My husband came home and put $20 in my hand and made me promise to have lunch here today. He's been bragging oh them for weeks! If my husband puts cash in my hand and wants me to spend it, who am I to say no? I was running late as usual and was worried I wouldn't have time to stop, so I called ahead to speed things up. She said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. No surprise. Hubby said that there are so many people willing to wait to eat here, it's always pretty busy. I was nearly ten minutes early so I stood in line to pay and wait my turn. As soon as she saw me waiting there, she asked if I was the steak and cheese no onions, which I am. She took care of me right then and had others ready to take care of the line. We just moved to the area, and I can't wait to make this place a staple in our usual places to have lunch. The atmosphere reminds me so much of a deli my granddaddy used to take me as a kid. Thank you for the awesome service and incredible sub!

Our staff at Ocala Carpet & Tile get food from here just about every Thursday & have NEVER had a bad meal.They have great authentic italian, great portions, great prices & they always have a smile on their face. If you haven't had their food definitely give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

Well worth the visit. Fairy large selection to choose from,but sometimes difficult to figure out from the selections board. Portions can be slightly overwhelming. Somewhat dimmly lit, but appearance wise clean.

Although the outside doesn't look like much this place has GREAT food. I got an antipasto that served me my lunch as well as my dinner. My companion got a sub that was fully loaded with meat, cheese, and veggies. I went back that weekend to get their specially made Italian pastries. Love this place!

This place is the best in the region, hands down. The only place I've come across that is so close to Boston grinders. The food and ladies working there are amazing! Do yourself a favor and stop by. I love this place so much after one visit that I decided to buy a house a block away.
