Very bad service 😔 you order in advance and they give you the wrong order and you call to complain why it's your money and the owner has a bad character and tells you that it's your fault and it doesn't solve anything very bad experience I don't recommend it

Went here years ago and was happy to see it was still in business and that the food was still excellent. Here's what we tried from best to worst: Cuban sandwich, Torta, moros y cristianos, Papa rellenos, Pollo ala plancha, and empanadas. Only thing I wouldn't get again were the empanadas, they were pretty bland but everything was excellent.

Cubano sandwich was perfect. The Cuban coffee was excellent. Service was super quick and friendly!

Very good cuban food. My only thought was we are use to cilantro sauce for the yucca fritta and theirs is garlic. Everything was cooked as ordered and very tasty.

I actually went inside to grab Cuban bread to make sandwiches for my family, but we will most definitely be back. The atmosphere was spacious, yet cozy and the food/pastries looked and smelled amazing. I used to make Cuban sandwiches for a living in Florida and the bread there was top of the line. We look forward to a whole meal soon.

The food is very good, but the mamey smoothie should be renamed, it had no milk, no sugar or mamey you are water, there are few ways to ruin a mamey smoothie but they found it

The food was not good it lacked flavor.

Never again!!! They close at 8:00pm and you arrive at 7:30pm and they tell you that you can no longer order anything that takes too long. Are you serious? You arrive at a place to eat and you encounter this type of bad customer service. Customer. I do not recommend it.

Manuel was the best service ever, the owner was sweet, greeted us kindly. The food was phenomenal, I felt like I was back in the Caribbean. The bakery was amazing, there was a line as soon as the restaurant opened, many waiting for the deserts and freshly baked bread.

Don't let the small size of this restaurant fool you. Ample seating and attentive service. Food selections are fire (I.e., really good for millennials and older). Don't miss the desserts. They're made in house and really quite good!

I am Cuban and I can appreciate the tasty food of my land. In this place the offer was very good, the customer service was good and they were quick to serve despite requesting a sea and land. I recommend this dish. I also liked the atmosphere, that the floor was not greasy and that the dishes are glass or ceramic, nothing is plastic and I really appreciate that. It also has space for family dining and a range of very Cuban desserts. In short, nice experience.

I was having a severe asthma attack. The gentleman there gave me some water. The water helped me to calm down enough to get some air to use my rescue inhaler. I wasn't even a customer... Nice group of people 👍

My husband and I have to make a trip out to Glendale every month on business and we make it a point to stop at this restaurant. I am Nicaraguan, but in AZ I don't get much of my native food, So this is a nice treat. Love the black beans and rice, and just everything. The staff is super nice and it's so refreshing to hear people speaking that kind of spanish to me.

Very clean little restaurant. Food quality is excellent, I’m from Miami and it’s exactly how it should be prepared. The only Cuban restaurant I know of in the Phoenix area.

Buying in this place reminded me of the food in Cuba, but the part of the terrible preparation, the bad taste and the bad service, practically raw, bad taste, in short, bought to throw it in the trash, from so many fast food places that I have visited This has been the worst, the service is terrible, I do not recommend it at all.

Main thing here is to accept that food takes a little bit to get to you. This is not a fast food place. People are very friendly & quick to help with questions. We both had the Cuban sandwich, which were huge and delicious. Took some pastries home to share. Would like to try the rope Viejas in future.

Nice restaurant with plenty of seating and great service. My wife and I only went in for dessert, which was good flavor and price wise.

Definitely NOT the same place from 6 years ago .. Service was super slow, server was kinda arrogant - They didn't have Cuban sandwiches lol .. yeah, weird huh? And all the dishes went up in price .. the grilled fish is now like $24.99? Nah, I'm good. Rice and beans are still on point but the meat is no bueno.

Sad to say, the empanadas were terrible, and I'm comparing theirs to the one and only time I had an empanada from a mini mart in Miami. They only have ground beef. It was nothing more than over spiced ground beef in a dry pastry. So disappointed.

So delicious genuine Cuban food! I had the onion steak and the onions were cooked so deliciously and the steak was thin and great! The potato croquettes are amazing. I had a malta with condensed milk.

We were wanting to come here and try Cuban food for a very long time. The waiter and restaurant manager were amazing. The food was excellent not to mention the cleanliness to say the least. Definitely worth it and price is reasonable.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and full of flavor. To start I ordered the papas rellenas and one must try them yum yum! Then an order of tostones and they were tasty! For entrees the lechon which was savory . I also ordered the Cuban Mexican sandwich which was good as well. None of the food went to waste every last bit was devoured. I had never been here and I will definitely be back!

The food is very authentic and cooked to perfection (believe me, I am a Karen when it comes to restaurant food … I believe … if I pay for it, I want it cooked to perfection … it’s my $). Started eating here 2 months ago; it is now our weekly Friday night dinner … tamales are great and they go fast; good thing is, you can always order some tamales for pick-up.

The servers were very nice but the food was way too greasy. I ordered a steak which came with rice and my brother ordered a breaded steak and rice. It was in a puddle of grease and did not look or taste fresh. I do not recommend. I am going to the Cubanitas Kitchen. Hoping for better quality.

The papas rellenas were delicious and would definitely be ordered again. Filling for an appetizer. The pollo a la plancha was good. The Cuban rice was quite tasty. Overall a good meal. I would come back. I love a good Cuban sandwich and theirs looks good.

No soy de poner comentarios pero esto lo amerita , fuimos a comer aquí y la langosta estaba echada a perder se me reventó toda la boca y a mi hija también lo que comió le cayó mal, deberían chequear bien lo que sirven al cliente .

Amazing that we have a Cuban restaurant in Phoenix. The bistec with onions was delish. Plantains (dulces) were perfect. Can’t wait to try a medianoche sometime.

I believe this is the tastiest Cuban sandwich in the West Valley. I hate to admit that this is the only item I ever ordered, but is so delicious! Recently, they expanded the floor space from a tiny bakery into a much larger restaurant. I would love it more if the dining had a deeper feel or atmosphere of Cuba. But I also realize its a strange time for sit down restaurants and everything costs money. The prices are very reasonable and it feels like a lot of food. I eat here at least twice per month and have never had a bad experience.

I am just glad this place is clear across town. I would eat here every day. The food was fantastic and the staff was great. I look forward to my next trip.

The food is not good. I tried to eat this food but myself and two others said this food is very unseasoned. I would not go back here. Also the restaurant is located in a not so great part of town. To top it off the floor was incredibly slippery. I thought I was going to fall it was like there was grease on the floor. The food was so bad I canceled my to go order and decided against dessert. I was scared to waste anymore money here. The servers were nice and the Malta and condensed milk was the best thing we had. I really wanted to like this place but the empanadas, papas rellenos, plantains were bland. We had 5 dishes total and they were all bland. And how do you offer pork and its not ready until 7pm?

It was totally great. They made me remember how wonderful food is on my motherland.

A Cuban oasis in Kanab! Didn't see that coming. I might be partial because I'm pretty sure this is run by a Cuban wife, American husband duo, and I happen to be half of the same combo. On the other hand, I kinda know Cuban food better than your average José. So, definitely check it out. Good people, good food. Bueno, bonito y barato.

Señores seré claro con este restaurante, aquí desde la elaboración hasta el trato carecen de calidad, la mala cara, el orgullo, la prepotencia, el espíritu de superioridad , la falta de humildad, corrompe cómo carcoma las intenciones de la misma, las sonrisas llegan ser plástica, mecánica y forzada, la elaboración, en lo particular no es de mi agrado , no quiero parecer hiriente ni extremista, si su comida fuera buena sería totalmente sincero sin importarme lo demás pero no lo es, ojo con éste lugar, ya estuve leyendo que recalienta la comida de una semana para otra y se la dan a los clientes, señores de buena tinta me enteré que no limpian ni los platos, de un servicio anterior ponen la comida del próximo cliente, son unos cochino ojo con éste lugar, ésto no es cuba, éso es una falta de respeto, delante de mí, una familia le pide que caliente la comida y la trajeron fría la familia se levantó y se fue del lugar, por él mal trato.
