Cups n Chai, is one of the best south asian chai shops I have been to. It is extremely community centered and the owners make you feel like home. The attention to detail in their craft blew us away. And they will work with you on flexible pricing. Noman & his staff catered a chai station for our wedding in Detroit & his station was adorned by our guests. He provided a variety of chai's & was well knowledged about what options would attract particular guests. Since we met Noman last year, he has made us feel like more than just customers but family. He went from being just a vendor, to a personal friend. Whenever someone comes to visit us in Michigan we will without a doubt be taking them to CupsnChai. With all that being said, the quality of chai is truly 5 stars. They have traditional options like Masala & Karak but also modern options like Amoore chai. Along side the chai, they serve a wide variety of snacks & south asian delicacies that are high quality.

Bunch of us girls went there for a night snack. There is plenty of seating available for big groups. We sat on the patio and had really good time. The quantity and quality of the tea and the snacks was exceptional, and reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and courteous. Best part is it is open till midnight, so if you are looking for a relaxing place to have fun time with your friends, this is the place.

This place is really nice from the outside and the staff are very nice and service is prompt. But, the food is terrible. If you’re a whitewashed desi college kid looking for a place to hang with your peeps, sure this is a nice place. But if you’re looking for good desi food go anywhere else. The chaat is too sour, the kebab wrap is literally a Malaysian paratha wrapped in a Kernel kabab with some siracha. The chai was okay. I could also probably make similar chai with some milk and a tea bag in a microwave for a few min. The royal club sandwich was also just okay if you like your food smothered in ketchup.

Hassan is the best employee ever, he deserves a raise!! Love the vibes here and the food is yummy.

Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly barista. He offered a taste of two different kinds of chai, which I appreciated. They have a nice selection of drinks for kids too. I really liked the flavors of everything. The mango lassi was delicious!

Just discovered this place, the chai and rolls were excellent. It has a great comfortable and relaxed seating space. I would recommend this place and hope to see them expand to other locations in Michigan

Wow wow wow, the best chai I have ever tasted, it was delicious! Ive gotten the amore chai many times and I couldn’t recommend it more. The customer service is always so good and the chai is always freshly made and hot. If I could, I would totally come here every day, that’s how much I love their chai! Also they have great food!

We visit Detroit often and recently found this place. Great place for desi Karak chai and snacks. Owner is very friendly. Highly recommend. Will try to visit regularly.

Great place! Went there today for the first time with some friends and very glad we chose this place. The owner is very welcoming and nice! offered sandwiches free of charge for us to try, gave us suggestions for which drinks to try and we were very happy with everything we picked! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the owner. We were welcomed with samples of the amore tea which was delicious. I ordered it 50% less sweet but could’ve probably gone less. The wraps and sandwich we tried were all very yummy but the achari chicken wrap was my favorite. I can’t wait to come back and try more things.

An amazing experience at Cups N Chai today! I had the bbq wrap, the chutney chicken wrap and mango lassi. They all tasted delicious and the hospitality made me feel like I was home. The atmosphere was also great! You definitely have a returning customer

Visiting family in Michigan from Washington DC and this was on my list of places to visit while in town. CupsnChai surpassed expectations tenfold. We got a few samples of the different chai options( Amore, Cinnamon, Karak, and dirty) All were delicious and difficult to choose between. My party was impressed with the chai too! I ordered the Zafrani Chai and it was perfect. The owner checked on how we were doing and suggested we try the Anarkali Chaat and that was scrumptious. We ordered another Chaat to-go so that we could share with friends later! Will be back and recommend this to everyone.

It was really good, all the chai was spectacular and the owner and his son were both really nice and friendly. Even joined our table to hangout and talk to us. The Amore chai and Karak coffee were very good.

We are here every weekend for their karak chai, it’s become our family favorite and CupsnChai reminds me of the cafes in the Middle East and Pakistan! Every time we have guests over they love coming here!

Chai is great but don’t be fooled, this place has a tons more to offer! I really like their food selection. The Veggie Paneer sandwich and paneer chutney wrap are my favourites. The wraps are smaller than expected. The Paratha with Labneh was a good snack on a hot summer day. They have outdoor seating with heat lamps for cold evenings. The place is clean and the service is impeccable. The staff always greet you with a smile and are genuinely excited to share their offerings with you. I also love that they’re open so late - it’s the perfect late night hang out spot. The Amore chai is unique but the karak will always have my heart.

Had an Achari chicken wrap, so delicious!

Was visiting from NC and visited this place. Ordered Club sandwich and Chicken Chutney roll with Karak Chai. Roll was good but could have been much better if they had used freshly made lacha paratha instead of frozen ones. Club sandwich had decent flavor but omelette in it was bland. Ambiance and service was top notch though.

Not worth of money. Kachoris we ordered was 1 very small and 1 medium size not even at all. And sanwich price is high but you will get only 1 paneer slice with some tomatoes and cucumber in grilled bread not justifying price.

Decided to stop in and try CupsnChai while out and about running errands. I have to say, I was so glad we tried it. The service was excellent, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. I told the gentleman this was out first time there and we were looking to get a drink. He immediately went to the back and brought my son and I samples to try. He was so helpful and friendly. Drinks were very good. While we didn't try the food as I did not realize this was such a cute little Cafe. We will absolutely be making more trips back to give them another try and have lunch or dinner. Would definitely recommend this place. It's a little tucked away in the corner in the shopping plaza but worth a visit!

Probably one of the best experiences I have ever had at a coffee shop. It was our first time, we didn’t know what to get, so we asked the waitress/cashier for suggestions. She right away got us 3 samples of their most popular teas. Dude, WHO DOES THAT? It was an extremely nice gesture! We ended up getting their classic Karak and Amore. Both of them were amazing. We also got their Samosas and Gulab Jaman, 100000/10. I’m definitely going to be a usual customer, because this place is just phenomenal.

There is a reason why this place has blown up so quickly and been the talk of the town, and it's truly because their team is unbelievably sweet, kind, and the service here is second to none. Our team loves coming here before and after events and it is such an easy place for us to have meeting, conduct business, and truly succeed with all our work. We have been here ~15 times already and will continue coming here as long as this place is around. Hoping to see it pop up in Novi soon O.O

Came with my cousin right before close and we loved the drinks and Samboosa. They even gave us a complimentary pizza and chai karak which tasted amazing. There’s even games to play like jenga and cards. Loved the overall vibe of the place and the service was 10/10. Will definitely be going back!

Very nice owner greeted us with salaam and gave us free bbq chicken flatbread as a first time customer. Also gave us samples of different chai to help us pick. The food was also very authentic and good. The inside of the store was very clean and tasteful design.

My new go to! The food is so flavorful and well portioned, but be careful if you’re not used to South Asian spice as there’s a bit of kick to everything we tried. The chai was the best part and was not overly sweet or bland, but perfectly spiced. The owner recommended the Amore chai and it was easily the best one there! The service was also amazing and the owner took his time to speak to us and give us recommendations! The food also came out promptly even on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Staff are some of the most welcoming and kindest people- service is always a1. Food is great! Especially the Lahori Chicken sandwich- my go to favorite. Teas and refreshers are delicious- amore chai smells and tastes heavenly, ginger chai is smooth with a little kick and the Karak is a classic. This place is a gem to the area. Although it can get busy, it’s never too loud to do work. I’ve ordered take out in the past and quality is always consistent.

Really like the ambience.Kids love the wraps as well the varieties of the Amore and Masala tea served were awesome. So was the indian chat was delicious.We liked the service and the gratitude shown by the staff. We highly recommend and love to visit again.

I have never felt so welcomed, and have never tasted chai like this before! Mine and my wife's gluten allergy was no problem to accommodate as well, despite the menu not specifically mentioning it! I would give Cups n Chai more than 5 stars if I could. Well done.

Masala chai and Karak chai was OK. But the dish in the picture was a disappointment. This item was named “Vada-Pav” in the menu. Adding vada in a bread, grilling it and serving it as “Vada-Pav”, is literally FRAUD!!

Overall a great experience to have something to eat! Their mango lassi was phenomenal and their somosas were so flavorful. They even gave us complementary sandwiches which was so nice! The service was so nice, and the atmosphere was perfectly quiet and calm!
