Party pizza is always on point. Quick service. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

Never tasted the pizza or food. But the desserts are awesome. I just started to go by this place because my daughter moved to Johnston. But, I plan on stopping there for some of their food to take out next time. I'll try to remember to take photos next time.

I Love D Palmieri's Bakery, Especially the party pizza I have been eating it since I was a child, every party we always had the party pizza. The wet in my opinion is the best.

Just...wow. Fresh baked bread and pastries, cakes and pies. (Open at 6am). Amazing pizzas, strips and sandwiches. Tons of other great deli treats. Staff is wonderful. Not many places like this left. Absolute treasure!

I love RI Pizza, especially since I only visit every now and then. BUT D. PALMIERI'S IS DEFINITELY A STOP IF YOU HAPPEN TO GO TO RI. You might as well go to Providence then since the state is so tiny. TINY STATE BIG FLAVOR. BETTER PIZZA THAN CT and MA and definitely better than anything passed Mass.

Bought a breaded chicken sandwich with sauce OMG it was the worst I don't know why they used to be very good even the pastry is not good. The prices are ridiculous I paid $10 for a 6 inch sandwich that I ended up throwing away good luck 🤞

One of if not the best of Italian bakeries in Rhode Island, if not the world. I love this bakery they have the best pizza strips spinach pies and have a variety of prepared food to choose from, even dessert they have a ton of pastries. Customer service there is hit or miss sometimes they're really happy, I'm assuming it's because they're always busy and constantly running around which that would never again way of me going back there, I love this bakery

This was my first time at the bakery and I was overly excited because I go by it everyday. To my disappointment this is not a friendly environment. I walked in said good morning and was completely ignored everyone had a sour puss face except for the young kid working. I felt rush to order and I had explained with a smile on my face it was my first time but they did not offer any help or suggestions. I do believe they are a little pricey but everything is pricey now. I am rating my review on the environment and customer service, if I could give a ZERO for service and atmosphere, I would. I don't care how good the pastry was, I will never go back.

The pizza strips were very flavorful -- delicious! I'd definitely get them again. However, to be perfectly honest, the texture on some of the other things was just a bit off (for example, hard crusts, or, in the case of the cannoli, super soft shell). Some of the flavors, too. I could say more, but I'll leave it there -- besides, it was raining, and I'm sure a bunch of other factors could have affected things... Also, the service was great, as was the general atmosphere.

Finally get home to open my desert box after a day off appointments and I'm missing half of the deserts. We ordered an apple square and a piece of chocolate cake only the cake was in it.

Love the food, very uncomfortable in there with there guest I guess not to many people that go there believe in interracial marriages because the looks and comments I heard well I was in there being a white (Italian) woman being married to a Native American man we’re not nice, but hey they have the best party pizza/ pizza slices around!

This place has amazing pastries I spent a bit of money but totally worth it

Overall there food is pretty good. However since there remodel they are a little pricey for certain items n there strips are still the best around but they are not consistent there either dry or too soggy. Also i was being over charged by one of the employees cause when she was not there the item was regular price. N the last time i went it was in the morning n the women who waited on me was Rude n she shoved my pizza in a bag which i was aways given a box my slice was crushed into the bag. I work with the public myself and a smile goes a long way..

Been often to buy mostly pizza,pastry and the spinach burstchetta .Food is good but I buy much less because the prices are sooooo high!$4.25 for ONE cheese with fruit danish and $3.95 for ONE burschetta.$8.00 for a typical sized blueberry loaf cake that are $5.99 at the markets. I didn't see any singular item less than $2.75.and that was an ordinary muffin.Mostly everything else was $3.95 or more. I found the bursçhetta dough was too thick and more added salt than I like. Usually the dough is super thin and crunchy.Disappointed. I won't be tempted to rush back.If you go ,bring your house deed,you may have to sigh it over for several dozen Danish for coffee hour.Better yet ,just say no thank you.

Always good nice portions, calzones, spinach pies Italian taco a must, and always Italian wandies for mom. Although they use to make calzones 2wice the size but that was 1999 a long x ago. The best. Stop by you will not be disappointed 💯 %

This place was VERY Good and True to it's Roots...very Authentic...all of their products are AMAZING...from their homemade Ready to Heat and Eat Products..to their Pizza Strips or some call it Tomato Pie..to their homemade pastries..and Jar Sauces... Absolutely Delicious.. I Highly Recommend this place when you visit Providence Rhode Island..

A must stop at every time we go back to Rhode Island. From the bread to pizza stripes to the pastry you have to try it all.

Truth be told....spinach pies are just too expensive!

When I was a junior in high school, I was going to vo-tech welding in Quonset. They had a catering truck stop by in the morning, and I got my first taste of a D. Palmieri's spinach pie. A spinach delight. That was 44 years ago. They taste EXACTLY like they did all those yeas ago. Years back, the bakery burned down. I thought I would never taste them ever again. But, with a lot of help from a lot of people, back up and better than ever. Grinders, pastries, spinach pies, pizza strips, and the large Sicilian loaves. SIX stars!

I've tried many pizza strips over the years, but none come even close to being as good as this place. I'm originally from RI, but now live in Northern, NH. Whenever I go down to visit family I always make it a point to stop by and grab some pizza strips. They also have amazing pastries and spinach pies. Very friendly staff too.

My favorite bakery of all time. My grandfather came here, my father came here, my kids will go here. The best.

I don't normally give 1-star reviews, but the attached photo is why. On the right is a normal pizza strip. On the left is a pizza strip that I purchased 3 weeks ago from D Palmieri. I have no idea how the person who served me could not tell how tiny this piece was, but this definitely shouldn't happen.

Awful customer service! I was completely ignored by the counter help. After about 15 minutes, as customers who came in after me were serviced, I walked out. I used to live in RI, and Palmieri's was not like this. I appreciate that there was a rush for Zeppole, but that was unacceptable. At least an acknowledgment of my presence would have been something. Nothing. Never again. I'll go to LaSalle instead.

My wife's family lives near here and every time we come to visit she has to stop in and fill the trunk of the car with they're pizza slices and spinach pies and bags of the pepper biscuits. She used to come here as a little girl with her grandparents and it brings back a load of childhood memories. Awesome Bakery products, very tasty. The BEST pizza sauce on the planet

my family is very good friends with the people i heard stories all the time from my grandmother joann and my great grandmother dora about my grandfathers and this place been going here since i could remember and let me tell you the finest Italian food and pastries if you never been here you have to go you won’t get any better

Best sandwich & pastry anywhere .

First time visiting the bakery on a weekend trip, but I'd definitely travel from Western New York just to go there again! I was on a mission for spinach pies just like I used to get in Providence back in the early 90s, and this place didn't disappoint. And the egg biscuits!!! Just like my great grandmother used to make when I was a kid. Thanks for the carload of goodies D. Palmieri's 👍

The party pizza is 5 stars, unfortunately everytime me and my family go here we are treated terrible by the same lady. She gets more rude every time we visit. Next time I stop in I will get her name and take a picture of her to add to this review. My wife was shocked at the way we treated for asking simple questions about how much party pizza would fit in one box. Cashier name: Donna Donna should really consider getting into a new line of work she is clearly a miserable person not fit to work in a customer service based position.

Watch out what they charge you for I was charged for a lodge deli sandwich when I ordered a small. Put it on a credit card so I didn't even look at it till later

Excellent pizza strips. Italian bread a little too dark. Brownies are good. I've gone again and still italian bread too dark which makes it tough to chew. No choice for a lighter loaf of bread that's less tough.

This place honestly has soooo many delicious things I wanted to try it all lol. But yeah I would deff check this place out if you haven't done so already.

Best bakery ever my grandmother lived in Johnston RI, and we went all the time especially for the feast and Everytime we came we ALWAYS went to D. Palmeries for pizza strips ‘ I live in Maine now and we’re driving to RI Saturday just to go to this bakery ! So try them out there amazing! Like I said a 2 1/2 hr drive to go to Palmeries!!!!

D. Palmieris was a huge help to me, I'm in town visiting family and wanted to make cannolis and no one sold shells and when I called they were more than happy to have them made and ready for me the next day. From the look and smell of it everything looked great I wish I could've eaten everything. They have pizza , heros, and all your bakery needs.

People in Rhode Island swear by this place, so I decided to make the trip and try them out. I take everything rhode islanders say about food with a grain of salt since most don't/ won't journey out of RI to find out what good or great food really is. I'd heard so much about their cannolis, so we bought four. What a complete disappointment. The shells were soggy and the filling was chalky. I'd rather drive 2 hours into Boston for a great pastry then drive to this place for a subpar product.
