This place is terrific! THE food is delicious, the menu has so many fabulous items to choose from, the prices are fair for what you getaway the service is wonderful! Do yourself and your family a favor and try Daddy Os. You will be glad you did!

This is a true must visit hidden gem. Recommended by a friend we decided to try the establishment upon arrival it looks like an average pizza shop and did not expect much To our surprise from the moment we entered we were greeted like we were family and seated right away by Natalie her personality was very welcoming. The service time was spot on. Natalie answered our question promptly. Olivia our server was simply amazing and very patient since we eat very healthy she took the time and had the patience while we altered the meals. After we placed the orders Natalie and Olivia both checked up on us often and refilled our drinks without asking. Well when the food came out we were blown away how well the presentation was executed from appetizers entrees and dessert. We have eaten in many 5 star restaurants much more expensive. The quality and freshness of the food blew us away the blend of the flavors of freshness and presentation far exceeds 5 star restaurants. During our entrees both Olivia and Natalie would come over to ensure we were taken care of and everything met our expectations. We cannot recommend this enough you must try this restaurant it exemplifies how a well-run exceptional restaurant should be run from chef to servers . This establishment sets the bar for any restaurant. I can honestly say the meal I had was one of the top meals I have ever experienced our expectations exceed on all levels we will definitely be back to enjoy the experience they treated us like family we left like family and it was very reasonable.

What a delightful surprise! We were looking for a place to meet for dinner in an area with few restaurants, and decided to try this one on a whim. Its definitely worth the trip from wherever you are! Every dish was amazing from the seafood and corn chowder to the brownie sundae. The scallops were perfect and the vegetables served with them were wonderful (especially the carrots, but I even loved the broccoli!!!). Our server was helpful and delightful! This is one of those very few places I'd like to keep as a secret because it's tiny and so wonderful, but really, everyone deserves a meal like this ... Treat yourself!

Don’t go and don’t take your own wine to enjoy because I WANT THIS DELICIOUS PLACE WITH ITS FRIENDLINESS AND LAID-BACK ‘TUDE ALL TO MYSELF. It’s not fancy but it’s really good and unique eats with friendly peeps at a very fair price. And it’s BYOB. Ok, you can go. You won’t be disappointed.

What a surprise to find such a great seafood experience out in the countryside.

Coming from South Philly the only place that comes close to having a quality cheese steak in this area is Daddy O’s.

Randomly stopped by to see if there was any food "to go" and the host recommended the crab bisque. Let me tell you I'm still reeling, that may have been the best crab bisque I've had in my life. I can't believe i thought I was only going to "try a little bit" on my 45 min drive home... the gall! Pretty sure I blacked out, housing the bisque as quickly as the laws of physics would allow. I came to, sweating, blankly staring at an empty "to go" box, with remnants of the crabssacre that just occurred all over my shirt and car. I couldn't go back in like this, covered in crab, so I resigned to heading home and planning my next trip, this time to get the biggest "to go" container. Thank you for the humbling experience.

Stellar food at reasonable prices. Our server Laura, was helpful, friendly, and professional. Backfin quesadilla app was enough for a meal and scrumptious. Highly recommend. Go before its reputation makes it had to get a table.

Perfect place to pop into in the middle of a food desert for a burger or quick pizza. They do have a gluten free pizza.

A fancy dining meal without the fancy dining cost, with a relaxed atmosphere. I really love they use local sourced ingredients as available. Fresh made and very delicious. Ordered their pizza and it was beautiful as it was tasty. Will be returning for future meals.

Lots of delicious here!!! Pizza, chicken Parm sandwich, cheesesteak, burgers, tacos, ... all delicious!!! Staff is always friendly.

Usually happy with their menu here but had an issue last night. I got the chicken parmesan sandwich ($12) and was disappointed to see how little chicken was in it. There were only 2 or 3 skinny chicken strips in the whole sandwich. They were lost in the roll and cheese. The roll was over toasted to the point that it was cutting the inside of my mouth. Total bill was just over $45. At those prices, the portions, and quality should be better. My wife got a chicken cheesesteak and was satisfied with it. We aso got a quart of crab bisque. On a positive note, the crab bisque was good.

Extensive menu, great service, reasonable prices... Nice, comfortable, casual little place tucked away in a low key location.

Been there a couple times and if they had more than 5 stars I would have selected the highest on each survey. Would love to go there at least weekly. Cannot say enough good about it. Staff is wonderful, the cook(I think is the owner) is remarkable. Prices are average. Let me tell you, the cheesesteak is wonderful and the cheesesteak egg roll appetizers is OMG absolutely fabulous. This place is a MUST try.

OMG. Talk about delicious food! Everything I try is delicious and seems gourmet. I recommend the pumpkin mushroom soup (slightest hint of pumpkin which I like vs an overwhelming pumpkin flavor) and the crab bisque. The woman working in front is delightful. I love her travel stories and recipe recommendations. A little expensive but so worth treating yourself.

Food is amazing and very well priced, service can be slow but the food is worth the wait.

Had the most amazing dinner last night for my birthday. Hubby had the braised short ribs and I had the pasta special with shrimp, mussels, and scallops. Not a bite left on either place. Absolutely delicious!

The food in this lovely little establishment is outstanding. The service has been very good, and staff are very friendly and gracious. I have had the pumpkin soup, the pork tenderloin with a cream sauce, and the chicken dish with a cream sauce as well. The food is outstanding. I will definitely be back for more, as I have been to this restaurant at least 7 or 8 times. It is quaint, lovely, and trendy all at the same time.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this absolute GEM! The food was phenomenal, the service was great, and it ended up being the highlight of our road trip. We're already planning on making another stop here on our way back! Trust me, you won't be disappointed

I love, Love, LOVE this place. I first started going to them shortly after they opened in Elkton (Elk Mills), MD. Their pizzas were really good and reasonably priced, at that time (not sure what their prices are for pizza now). During my undergraduate studies I took an elective; Food Art and Customs. We went to different places for taste tests and such! Really fun class, so much so it was reserved for seniors only and if you didn’t register by 9:00 am the first day, you would not get in. Anyway, one of our excursions was to DaddyO’s! I honestly didn’t see the connection…..that is until…… after my class on-site at DaddyO’s!! The owner (or one of), Jaime trained under a Master Chef. If you don’t know the significance of that, please Google it, it’s a big deal. I had no clue that this amazing chef was literally one mile away from my home. Their dishes are amazing, never had a bad meal or experience. Here’s the kicker….I ate there pretty regularly until I moved away from the area. I knew they had moved to somewhere in PA but I didn’t know where until a couple of months ago when I was passing by. I love their veggie wraps!! Let me say, I love meat, and I don’t normally care for wraps at all, but when I had them cater a work meeting and I tried their veggie wrap-OMG!!! I can’t even put it into words. So, last Saturday after my granddaughter’s birthday party, I was driving by again and I decided to stop. I ordered my veggie wrap…..while waiting for it I started getting nervous wondering what if it doesn’t taste the same….it’s been almost 10 years or so since I had it?? Anxiously, I received it and couldn’t believe how good it tasted!! I’ve tried veggie wraps at other places, in search of a replacement for my beloved wrap, but I was sadly disappointed. There is NO match for this wrap or restaurant!! It tasted exactly, if not a little bit better, like it did when I first had it….I’m not even sure how many years that it, but it’s a lot!! Kudos to you DaddyO’s!! 💗

Lovely little place the salads were tastefully done and very good. Wait staff very nice and helpful about the menu. Off 896 and sits back from road, if you drive too fast you will miss it.

Great value for the cost. Excellent food and portion size. Service was fantastic. Very small place, which makes dining very pleasurable. Will definitely be going back.

I've only gotten takeout there, and haven't been able to move past the dishes that we've had so far (burger, various pizzas, esp the Italian and white pizza). So we've only had takeout, which has been consistently good. Some day we'll have to move beyond the dishes we like to try some other things. This place is also convenient for us, so we're thankful to have such consistent and reasonably priced restaurant nearby.

New to the area, but I've driven by this place multiple times over the years. I always saw the sign, but could never make out the actual place in time, so I just never stopped. Now we just moved about 5-6 mins from here. In the past 3 months, we've probably ordered from here or eaten inside about 10 times. Usually don't eat out much, but while we've been moving in and getting our home set up, it's been nice to grab something delicious and local. All staff has been nice and efficient! We'll be eating here again as well as recommending to others who don't already know about it.

I used them for my wedding and have nothing but good things to say. Stunning service and food. I still order from them for various lunches and dinners and have never had a bad meal. Their chicken piccata is my all time favorite!

Was working in the area, unfamiliar with restaurants and found daddy-os through Google. Staff was super friendly, Natalie was awesome! Food was great, got the turkey sandwich and the bacon was crispy, the bread was fresh and delicious and the turkey was real, thick cut turkey and not some refrigerated thin sliced lunch meat. Fries were crispy and tasty. My coworker got the grouper fish tacos, which were "Bomb" according to them. Had real cheese, real jalapeños and fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Could recommend the food and the service enough. If you're in the area, definitely stop at Daddy-Os!

Fantastic food and good prices. Don't pass on this great restaurant just because of it's size. One of the best places I've been to and I keep coming back. Huge recommendation. Sadly you won't find them on doordash and this is different than daddy's kitchen. I've had both and because daddy O's is only a few minutes away from daddy's kitchen I would recommend daddy O's more.

The name makes you think of a greasy Irish pub. But, NO, it is top notch, gourmet delicious food at a reasonable price. Plates come out gorgeous even.

Do not just drive by their sign. Stop in! The corn seafood chowder is phenomenal. Big chunks of shrimp. Just the right amount of everything in a creamy base. My friend and I both ordered a cup and split a hot ham & cheddar sandwich with cranberry. I had to take home some because it was so much. It was perfect for a cold dreary day.

One of the best places around. We have been dining here for 10 years (first visit was at their old location). You can't go wrong, pick anything on the menu and enjoy.

You can't tell by the name, but Daddy O's was a very pleasant surprise. Little pricey for the ambiance but the food was fantastic. I will definitely go back again. BYOB.

Our waitress was wonderful! There were 6 in our party, so it took a while to make menu selections, but she was patient and cheerful the entire evening. The food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Though the restaurant was busy, we did not feel rushed, so we had a very enjoyable evening of good food and time with friends. We will definitely go back again.

It was our first time stopping by. We've been curious about this place since we moved here a few months ago. We were under the mistaken impression that the specials on the sign by the road were the only thing being served that day. There's a full menu with plenty of amazing items and daily specials as well. I had the mushroom butternut squash soup and I've never tasted anything quite like it. Everything is fresh made and you can tell. We will definitely be going back! Don't let the unassuming facade fool you.

I really enjoyed that they catered to my needs of gluten free. I asked for a chicken cheese steak on lettuces they put it on a nice mix green salad with fresh tomato and the old bay fries where homemade seasoned. Delicious! Was worth the 45 minute drive :)

Had. The mushroom cheese steak sandwich. I'm a big eater but this was so big I had to take half of it home. It was still good the next day. Definitely recommend this restaurant. I'm looking forward to my next trip so we can stop there again.

The best kept secret ever! I remember when they had a place in Newark on Main Street. Never knew that they were up here. We stopped in on the way to the horse barn got ourselves an Italian pizza. Came out super quick was super delicious. 👌 definitely going to be stopping by more often.

We've been here for dinner a number of times and have always had excellent food and great service. The chef is awesome. We stopped in today for lunch. We ordered a pizza and must admit, it's the best we've had in this area and in Delaware.

I called ahead for a pizza. The pizza was ready but cold. I had to microwave the slices. Microwaving just kills the crust.

I really like the nightly family dinners @ Daddy O's. Every night you can order a different special dinner of the day. The dinners come with a potato dish or pasta, a vegetable & salad for 4. It's fabulous!

At the last minute TAKE-OUT in the middle of the week... decided to take a chance on entrees and WOW were we happy. Crusted pork platter with mashed potatoes, squash/green beans/carrots and a mahi mahi platter with the same sides. OMG were these delicious and I'm not a fan of squash. Everything was cooked to perfection and my husband and I both stuffed ourselves. Generous portions and pricing was fair. HIGHLY recommend.
