Amazing food ,very clean ,never had a better burger

Today I went to get burgers and fries for my family. 2 out of 3 employees seen had on masks. The primary cook was not masked. I was greeted by a young woman at the register. I said Hello and she just looked at me. I said Hello again and she again just looked at me. So me and my daughter proceeded to order and the woman told me that I must be speaking low. I spoke louder and the only 4 customers in the store looked at us, so I know I could be heard. Then she said it again. I put my finger under my face mask and ordered again. We ordered 4 burgers & 3 fries to go. When we got home and opened the orders, EVERYTHING WAS BURNT. For $40, a hateful attitude, burnt, inedible, meals and having to explain the situation to my daughter in a way as to calm her down. Why open or come into work if you don't want to be there & are offended by the presence of some customers. She was very polite to the table with the other 4 customers. Not recommending Daily Grind to anyone. Not only did they make me, and my daughter, feel out of place but they ruined take out night for my family. As well as me supporting our local business entities.

Real good local burger joint. Everything is cooked to order, you can see them grill up your order right in front of you. No frozen beef here! Burger was cooked exactly to the temperature I requested! You don't get a lot of places that do that correctly. Fries were really good as well, and they offer a few different ketchup flavors which were all very nice. Unfortunately, the amount of fries I received and price I paid for the whole meal didn't really match up (almost 18 dollars with tax and tip for one burger, fries, and drink), so I have to give it 4 stars. That is NOT to say I won't come back, however. As I said above, the burgers are DELICIOUS and I look forward to coming back to satisfy my future burger cravings.

The food here was delicious!! Best turkey burgers in town, but today I was told that they will no longer have turkey burgers on the menu. That sucks because people are starting to eat more healthy options. They lost me as a customer, but hey I’m only 1 person.

Absolutely order the onion rings and take the spicy sauce they offer. The wonderfully sweet onion rings paired with the spicy sauce is perfect and made them the best onion rings I ever had. Burgers are also fantastic. Wish I lived in the area I'd come by all the time!

The staff was incredibly helpful. They were out of gluten free bread, but they toasted one of my gluten free rolls. The chef accidentally put cheese when I asked to hold the cheese. He remade the burger without the cheese and saved the gluten free roll. Great employees and great food. The medium burger is 7 oz and it was filling.

Absolutely the best burgers in town!

This is our right around the corner place to go for a burger. Order at the counter style. Everything fresh and delicious. Same owners as Gaffs meat market which is another great story in itself.

You pick the sandwich and you add your own condiments at the end of the counter. Delicious juicy burger with cheddar cheese. Sweet potato fries are very good also.

This is the best burger in the Daytona area! You can put whatever you want on it; lots of onions jalapenos and whatever! If you like burgers, the 7oz with jack cheese is a gourmet delight! They make their own buns, everything is quite tasty! Great staff, prompt service what's not to like? Updating this review, December 2019 . Again, this is the best burger I can remember eating ever! When walking out, we were talking with a guy who just finished eating, and he said, "well this sure puts the chains to shame"!

Best Burger that I've had in a while!

I was expecting better to be honest since this place had a 4.5 rating. Staff was friendly and the location was clean. Guest and I both ordered burgers cooked medium. Both came out well done. Flavor was ok but I’m sure it would have been better if cooked med per the order. Fries were good but quantity was less than I expected. Food seemed to take longer than I expected since it was after the lunch rush hour.

I got an order to go and figured by the time I got home I would have a soggy burger and fries, which didn’t happen, and this is the BEST burger and cheese fries I have had in such a long time! Because of the way they package the fries in the open cup, they stay crispy and fresh. Very delicious and 100% worth it!

Whenever I go it's never busy, and the wait time for getting food is really quick. The food is amazing, if you like burgers you should try it out.

First time ever there. The burgers are excellent. It's just a service is not very good. Told them that first time there. Didn't offer to explain anything. Staff is not very friendly. It's really too bad cuz they got excellent burgers. They just act like they're doing you a favor by serving you. I will definitely go back cuz the burgers are real good. But that's the only reason I'll go back. The only person that was friendly there was the old man cleaning the tables.

One of our favorite places to get a hamburger. The make the food to order. It was taste great. Never have a bad experience here. The wait staff is wonderful. We will return often. Also please keep posting on your Facebook page. We see it and always makes us hungry.

This is the place that sets the bar for all other burger joints in the area. Absolutely the best you can get. Really friendly staff, too.

Several burger options including size and type of meat. Burgers are cooked to order so this is not fast food. I had the traditional beef in medium size. Cooked as requested. Very tasty. Bountiful topping bar to finish off your sandwich. Service was good, prices fair, and the restaurant was clean.

Went back for a second try. Staff was friendly, attentive and courteous. Restaurant was clean and odor free. We had hamburgers instead of hot dogs, which were cooked perfectly to our liking. Hamburgers and fries were delicious. We would certainly come back again, next time we are in the area. Hot dogs were hard and on the cool side. Service was not great either. They may make good hamburgers ( we didn't try them) but their hot dogs were the worst I have ever eaten If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Daily grind fills an empty stomach with exactly what you need. Today I ordered a bison burger that was dripping with tastiness. I would highly recommend eating here if you haven't. You'll spend about 30 minutes here and depending on your order. The menu is very very fairly priced!

This is definitely a 5-star beef joint. Bring your appetite and come on down. Reasonably priced very fresh food. I believe they have some options other than beef also. But I'm a beef person and that's what I go there for.

Excellent burgers, I especially enjoyed the bar with which you add toppings to your own burgers, excellent fries, but I plan to try out the other sides in the future. With outside seating as well you can enjoy your meal and have a nice shady seat in the cool breeze.

Once was the best burger place around, seems to be falling behind recently. Condiment bar somewhat messy, and a little lackluster in general. Foods ok, but I think it's past it's prime

Great burgers, condiment sauce selection and extras but the fries really dissapointed me. I had been hoping for handcut for THAT price. Buffalo burger was one of the best I've ever had.

The Philly cheese steak was really good. Quality ingredients. The sandwich alone was a lot of food, no need for the $4 up charge for the combo which includes a side and a drink, in my opinion. I'll definitely return to try other menu items.

Delicious burger place! My burger was exactly as I ordered, they have a toppings bar with fresh ingredients to put on your burgers and sandwiches. Did not order beer but they offer it. The place was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly! So glad we stopped in.

Good burgers, a little expensive but worth it. I like the toppings tray where you can add what you want to your burger, great idea. I like extra toppings and it's nice to be in control of that. Nice selection of wet sauces and dry seasonings for fries. Would definitely return if I was in the area again. Unfortunately, I live far away from here (about 1,200 miles).

The burgers were great...served in a timely manner...wondered why you had to leave a tip when you paid for your meal....you build your own burger and got your own drink and cleaned your table...just wondering

You can eat at a full service restaurant for the price of 2 burgers 🍔w 2 topping each and combo both $27.00 💸 💰. But I'd still pay extra any day for their sweet potato fries 🥖🥔🤣😂😍

Excellent excellent burgers. Wow. That was tasty. I do NOT like how a request for a tip shows up when you are paying immediate after ordering at the counter where you come back to pick up your food. There is no server type of service so there is no tip. But the burger was so good I'm still going with the 5 stars. But lose the tip thing when you are paying before anything has happened guys. It's awkward punching in zero right in front of you for some of us.
