Food always on point the drinks always good they never miss!

When there for cocktails and when I asked for the check 18%service was already applied to check and they still would give you a CC voucher with service suggested on top of the sevice ???? That has become so popular in NJ restaurants trying to double dipping.

One of the Best Peruvian Restaurant... i like it a lot...

Came here for the first time for my partners birthday. The food was ok, drinks ok. I ordered a water with my drink and the server gave me bottled water? I thought they didn’t have tap. Then after a while I notice other people have tap water glasses. Thought that was strange. Then it was time to pay. I was charged for water of course. Also there was 18% tip INCLUDED in our bill. I think that is rude. It was only the 2 of us, the tip is typically not included for 2 people. Also we paid by card, and the waiter gave the machine to us to add ANOTHER TIP?! I think that’s ridiculous how they try to trick people to get more tips. We told him tip is included, and didn’t pay any more. His service was horrible. I would not come back. Always check your receipt!!!

This is our second time visiting D’Carbon and the experience has been incredible!! The food is delicious, decent portions, good seasoning, and for the most part the customer service is on point. We highly recommend the pichanguitas, mixed ceviche and the chicha morada is also delish. We had enjoyed every visit and experience!!

Very bad service. Expect to wait min 1 hr. Plus they gave my order to someone else for delivery, They want to give me the dirty food that other touch. AVOID. They are other places!

I ordered a barbecue to eat at home, it was completely raw, it hurt us, the next day I went to complain, they told me that the Manager was free, they took my details and agreed to call me, something that never happened, I think that an apology would have been enough but it never happened, I will surely never eat at this place again

I recommend coming in on Fridays for juicy tasteful meat. I usually come in on Fridays but the one time I came in on Saturday, the meat platter I always order, came out dry and really chewy. Anyway, I always have a good time and I really enjoy the food. I keep coming back for the Parrilla D'Carbon which is more than enough for 2 people, the side of portions are also very generous. We always have salad and french fries and then order a side of rice. Perfect enough to share on a date <3 Service is quick and nice

They raised the prices, but they decreased the quantity of food. I have been coming to this restaurant for years, but I will not return again.

Menz got way better chaufa than any place in Pennsylvania, though they may take a bit long to take your order, they really cook quick. One thing, though... them karaokes may make you hungrier

The fact I ordered a roasted piece of chicken with rice and beans for myself menu said $12. The waiter puts in rotisserie chicken to feed 4 people at the cost of $25. I decided not to complain and said I’ll take the rest home. My husband order a skirt steak he waited 20 minutes for it. Restaurant for Father’s Day was empty not even busy we were ignored, we didn’t have utensils, tostones were super burnt you can break a tooth, my husband ordered a rice with his meal, and we didn’t even get it . The nerve to pay gratuity for awful service!!!!!

Food and drink was delicious went with a friend.place was Not busy on a Wed afternoon. Workers were more attentive to each other than the customers. Service could have been alot better. Waited 30 min just to get the bill. Our server went to lunch right after we got serve? . I may go back on another day and see what happens. Will keep you post. 🥰

Terrible trip two hours from Newburgh NY and terrible, the chaufa rice with meat was sour and I know that chaufa rice is mixed because they didn't put it on me as if it were rice and meat on top as if it were horrible loin. I won't spend my money again... the chicha They say that the dwelling is that of a boiled house and that was above all horrible.

Roasted chicken was amazing, but the chaufa mixto was a bit too well done and the meats were tough. Good portions and friendly service.

Very good food but they have a waitress who doesn't let you eat in peace, they are already collecting and bringing you the bill, they don't even let you breathe (it felt like a pressure to make you pay and leave) their food is very delicious, yes.

Never again every time I go with family I spend 100 plus they are so friendly blah blah. I decide to get on a keto diet, I love their food so much I ordered a full chicken with tostones and a salad the second time already they give me watered down salsa that I pad 5 dollar extra for it cold chicken and a bad attitude because I didn’t have Apple Pay like what!? And the funny part is I ordered for take out never again I would rather go to Santa brasa in Clifton you want real Peruvian food go there very authentic affordable

I love the place and the food is the best! The service? I would say the opposite. The other day I stopped by to eat and from the moment we were seated we had to wait at least 20 minutes for someone to take our order and the place was not full. The person who took our order didn't even come up to ask us if we were okay or if we needed anything else. It is not fair that you have to leave them a tip that they do not deserve, especially when they are not professional at all. After I asked another of the waiters to please bring me the bill, the boy who took my order didn't even have the decency to give us the bill or charge us instead he gave the bill to another waiter and more enzyme came over and He said something in her ear! I didn't know they hired kids with no manners. What kind of service is that? So disappointed I miss the old workers.

The Peruvian flavor is definitely here, absolutely delicious and recommended

I only do take outs here but every time I do, the food has been consistently good! The phone orders are a bit of a hassle especially for a non Spanish speaking person like me, however, we found it was much easier to order from an app like Uber Eats ans pick up ourselves.

Went to get Steak lomo , PAID EXTRA TO add shrimp & Green sauce on the side. THE WORST I’VE HAD ! White rice WAS HARD! BARELY ANY STEAK & ONLY RECEIVED 4 SHRIMPS FOR $24.95. The entire tray was NOT EVEN half way full. TOTAL WASTE !!! I WISH I had checked my food before leaving. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING HERE! Manager did not want to come to the phone to resolve the issue, instead left the worker to deal with the complaint to which she did not have a resolution. Spoke in Spanish & assumed I did not understand because I preferred to speak in English. They gossiped & I hung up. 0-10

AMAZING FOOD!! As a Peruvian, I can honestly say it's awesome. HOWEVER , the service is ridiculously poor. Their always in LALA land when asked specific questions of food or just don't kno the answer, mind u, I've been to this place multiple times and have the same person there so it's not like it's a new employee -__-. MY OPINION would be to educate their waiters on PERUVIAN DISHES THEY SERVE AND/OR Hire actual Peruvians. No offense but most of their waiters are Columbian and could care less to explain any dish.. get ready to get annoyed before actually eating.

I ordered a whole fish where it is on the menu for $24.50 and they ended up charging me $29.50. They charged me $5.00 more and the only thing you tell me is that the prices are not updated. A total theft, you don't know how much you are going to pay....for this!!! I have never experienced such a situation before...what a shame to dirty your image for a few dollars, that is not smart!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated my mother's birthday at this restaurant, Mr. Manuel served me and offered me a dish that I had never been offered before. It's called Fusion of Love and it's very delicious. They sang my mother's birthday with all the waiters and we had a very pleasant time, we will return soon... thank you Mr. Manuel

TRIED THIS PLACE YESTERDAY 2/27/2024…WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER I CAME DOWN WITH FOOD POISONING AND MISSED A IMPORTANT TRIP…I HAD LO-MO, STEAK CHICKEN AND SHRIMP NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE

The cuisine was quite thought-provoking. I had a large supper, a really educational and tasty meal, and passion and love.

Paterson is known for have the best food in Nj, especially Peruvian. Dcarbon has an awesome vibe especially on the weekends. This particular location has challenges serving what you order. If order meat dish they will always bring it out well done no matter how you ordered it, plus overpriced for quality of food that you get.

On Sunday Manuel was very kind and gave me good service, delicious food! I will return of course

Ordered a soup that we did not know it had milk, when we asked to return this the server said he can’t because if he does he will have to pay for it which is ridiculous to me given the fact that we did not touch it and told him right away. Another issue when we received the bill the charged us for a container to take some food to go and the bag. I am surprised we didn’t get charged for the straws we used and the napkins. Food was amazing but there are other restaurants with great food too that don’t be charging for every little thing.

A fantastic experience accompanied by Peruvian cuisine prepared with love, which makes it something special. Apart from this we have the fortune of a very good guide from one of his collaborators at El Joven Jose table. Who was in charge of helping each of the companions choose between the various drink and food options. I even took a photo of us to remember. Thank you Jose and the entire restaurant team for turning a lunch into a pleasant memory.

Awesome Pollo a la Brasa . The girl at the reception not so nice. Also, I very much dislike when a restaurant charges you for some extra sauce . Updated: Finally found the girl's name a the front, after ordering here for awhile after my last update the front receptionist still has a nasty attitude towards people. Everyone else seem to be fine. Ana is her name. Seriously need some training on how to deal or talk to people.

This restaurant came recommended by a friend of Peruvian descent, and I went with colleagues who have traveled throughout South America. All said the menu was authentic. The food was delicious, very flavorful and simple, large portions, delicious cocktails. Plenty of options for the pescatarians in our party, too.

Terrible service from the person who receives you when you enter, she is rude and very rude and not only her. Last night at 9:00 we arrived and with a bad face they treated us saying that there was only chicken, it is understandable although we had already called the The problem is the way they received us as if it were our fault that they were tired or whatever. As if one were to eat for free 🙄 I will not spend money in that place again because one does not need to go through that situation. Get rid of that ordinary poorly educated woman

Really nice food. We had Ceviche mix to, salt ado de carne and half a roast chicken. Some of the best Maduro's I ever had. We went there in Saturday night and it was like a party, pretty loud music and people having fun. Great size cocktails and good portions.

Suelo ir semanalmente a ordenar diferentes tipos de comida pero, últimamente he podido notar que la calidad de la misma está decayendo. No le doy mucha importancia a los precios, con tal de conseguir ha cambio, una mejor calidad del producto. Sí hoy alguien me pide un comentario al respecto, no se lo recomendaría a nadie.

This place is almost always packed because its one of best Peruvian restaurants in town. Love that they also have a big parking lot as well as street parking in the event the parking lot is full. The food is amazing and tastes very authentic. The ceviche, although they give a smaller portion than most restaurants in the area, is still so good and VERY fresh! the choros a la chalaca are also a hit. All the other food I've ordered from her is also excellent and great portions for the price.

I am not from New Jersey. However, my nephew who lives in New Jersey wanted to take me to this spot because he knows I love seafood. The oysters were delicious, and the chufon rice with the steak was tasty. It's was a Thursday night, and it was packed.

The meal was excellent; the fried calamari, huacaina sauce, and arroz chaufa (fried rice) had authentic Peruvian flavor. The chicken was the greatest I've ever had. It was too long before someone came to check on us, and the waitress service was not the finest.

I've been coming here for years. Their food is amazing (I could eat their chicken and chaufa for the rest of my life) and the hot sauce!!! Y'all!!! That hot sauce is the most delicious thing I've ever had lol I legit smother my food in it. Love it here.

Chicken is great here ans the service is good too! They give a generous size portion of food 👍🏽

So I gave the four but what I would have preferred is for the portion to be more as in quantity. The flavor wasn't bad but it's not a 5 star. Service was fast and staff was nice, but the but is that if my plate was fuller I would definitely gave it 5 stars.

I noticed that i was charged 25 cents for a bag w/o my consent. I get that in NJ there are environmental laws and polices to limit the use of plastic bags but requiring customers to buy a bag is not a law. I know it’s just 25cents but it’s not the correct approach regardless of the amount and these establishments need to be held accountable for this especially in low income communities. Needless to say, they also charge customers who pay with credit cards a credit card fee! Overall the food might be good but the management sucks.

For the cost of $21.99 for the garlic shrimp is not worth it… The portion is super small… The shrimp was dirty with poop… not to mention the garlic sauce was so thick and salty…. Puts you in the reminder of Campbell’s cream of chicken… I would never return here again… I got robbed with no mask on….I also would never recommend this place to anyone…you’re better off going to Cuban Pete’s for the garlic shrimp and get clean tasty shrimp….

Horrible service, they take very long to take an order, on top of that, the order was wrong, when we have the food on the table we have to ask to two different waitress for plates, meat was still raw, we didn’t have a good experience at all, we been customers for a very long time but the service gets worse and worse, definitely not coming back and not recommend this place.

Fuimos mi hermano y yo por una comida ligera y unos tragos. Habías tomado 2 margaritas y dos cervezas y al pedir la segunda cerveza la mesera nos dijo que el manager no estaba de acuerdo en servirnos más. Sin razón algunas, estávamos tranquilos mandamos a buscar el manager y preguntamos el porque; y solo dijo que es siguiendo reglas sin nosotros haber tenido ninguna situación. Es desagradable pasar un momento así solo por capricho, mientras gasta tu dinero. En otro orden comimos una leche de tigre y estaba salada .

Gave me a 1/2 pound chicken, fries and rice for like 17$ on Uber eats. That chicken fell right off the bone, Season to perfection! W. Rice was soft, hot & moist. Fries was perfect. And some salad on the side. I got full as hell tryna finish that whole thing had to save it. That chicken a 10 tho I swear. 🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Siempre fue el mejor de todas las pollerias hasta que ayer me lleve una gran desilucion del servicio. Comimos y ordenamos para llevar y aun asi, querian cobrarme por un aji y el container. Me quisieron cobrar la propina hasta por el pollo que pedimos para llevar. Aunque hubieron algunos meseros que se acercaron. otras meseras se molestaban e ignoraban cuando se las llamaba. Es una pena que despues de muchos años de ir a uno de mis mejores restaurantes, dejemos de ir. El servicio no deberia estar incluido porque esta vez no fue bueno. Se ve una falta de paciencia y atencion de algunos de los meseras. Es una pena, pero ya no iremos mas.

My husband and I, wanted to eat peruvian food, so we google peruvian restaurants and this one came up. As usual I always check the ratings, and decided to order out. We picked up our food when we realized that one of the dishes we had ordered was missing. Also, we ordered shrimp Chaufa ( and it was nasty)!! the shrimps was dry and rubbery. The salad that came with the food looked poor and unappealing. Overall my husband and I are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. We will Never come back to this place again. It was a waste of our money. Google ratings did us wrong!

The food was okay, yet, I ordered the Jalea...the yuca was so hard and un edible didn't complain just bit into a left on the plate .usually at other restaurants it's piled up so high and I'd have leftover food no leftovers..I would go back and try something else. Our waitress was nice...we even tipped more on top of the counted amount.

This place is affordable and food is great, one thing I would like to bring to the owner's attention is that they are including the tips on the check and when the customer is presented with the device to swipe their credit/debit card they are asked again to tip but it has the option to decline. This could bring negative feedback from people who do not take a look at their checks before paying and realize later on they are leaving souble tips, everything is great about this place.

By far the best pollo a la brasa around, fast service and the restaurant is nice. A great takeout option for feeding a lot of people

This was my first time coming, love the atmosphere, the music playing was moderate you could have conversations without the need to yell. Crystal our server was amazing she came to check on us and laughed my boyfriends dried jokes. We’ll definitely come back to have the plate Crystal suggested for us I can’t remember the name but was really good and filling for more than two people. Crystal make sure you keep suggesting this plate!

Food was good but nothing great. Despite the restaurant being very empty our server was MIA most of the time. He was friendly and we were glad he spoke English but forgot our drinks and a side dish we ordered. I can see how this place would be appealing to Latin Americans but not my cup of tea unless I’m looking to go dancing. Loud music plays during early dinner time with awful disco type lighting . DJ spoke only in Spanish so I had no idea what he was saying. I love Latin food which is why I tried it but I will not be returning. Clearly geared to only Spanish speaking clientele. That’s not a bad thing just too ethnic for this white girl LOL.
