Saturday night, I was having my food in this restaurant everything was OK until a 5 inch rat came out crawling from under the counter. Five inches long not counting the tail it was walking like it was on it's last days,or sick. I signal the one of the workers he then called two other employees one managed to step on the tail, the other one threw a newspaper on top of it and caught it wrapped it up in the newspaper and got rid of it.It wasn't a pleasant sight. I payed for the food in full didn't get not even water on the house they never said thank you for not making a big seen, but it's OK cause I'm never going back to this place.

If I could I would give it zero stars, the food is terrible, the service is bad and the place is very deplorable, I do not recommend it.

I came to eat at this place on the recommendation of a friend but I was terribly disappointed, the food was saved (lomo saltado), the grilled chicken was dry with little flavor, the waiter did not know how to give me information about the dishes and the atmosphere was extremely depressing.

Food was authentic and delicious. I've tried Peruvian food before but this tasted like it was homemade. I'll be coming back for second. Highly recommend the Arroz Chaufa completo.

Todo estaba, esquicito! Super delicious! Fuimos 4 y nos encanto todo lo que pedimos... Los anticochos, el mondogito, Las empamadas, sudadito.. y el chaufa de marisco.

Me fui con buenas expectativas pero no pasa nada con la comida y el servicio nada que ver les falta mas carisma al atender y mejor actitud, pedí un ceviche y me dieron con papa el limon no habia ni penetrado a los camarones muy pesimo, lo cual le reclame que el ceviche peruano nuncaaa va papa y el dice ser del callo y que si va papa dice jajaja cualquier persona extranjera que va a probar comida peruana se lleva una decepción muy grande, todas las comidas que nos sirvieron muy desagradables

first of all, i ordered on the phone, i was craving picarones. i specifically asked for crunchy. when i took a bite, it felt like i was biting into a wet sponge. disgusting. not only that, but it was not crunchy and tasted like nothing. i felt sick to my stomach. my grandma and i shared, and she’s been feeling sick since last night.

Everything we ordered was quite tasty! Would eat there again. A nice, clean, no-frills, little spot to eat.

I was looking for something quick to eat for breakfast, and I came here based on the Google reviews. I opted for the Causa Rellena. It was fresh, delicious, and tasty, and flavors were spot on. There are a lot of other interesting dishes on the menu, and I would definitely come back.

Viaje desde California exclusivamente por la publicidad de un TikTok! Fui con amigos de otras nacionalidades! Y la experiencia fue fatal empezando por el mesero hijo de la señora Delia. Con actitud agresiva y despreciable por los huéspedes! Pedí un caldo de gallina y fue horrible! Cuando intenté regresar el plato! Me discutieron negándose que ellos no lo aceptan! Hasta el manager creo que es el dueño! Me respondió igual! Nunca me ofrecieron disculpa o cambiarme el plato! Déjare la foto del supuesto caldo de gallina o caldo Maggie que en realidad es: muy desagradable y por último el tipo se agrego la propina en automático. Solo quise irme rápido pague y jamás regreso!

Pedí un ceviche pero no estaba excepcionalmente bueno. El ambiente es tal cual un restaurante peruano en el extranjero: música típica y muy buen trato.

Food is good it used to be great but the cleanliness is poor. Unfortunately the establishment is stuck in an "old-school" way of doing things. If they were to get some updates and newer cleaning standards the business could be great. Even with that said food is still pretty good but could be great!

Ordering for catering is not recommended. They will not fulfill the order on time or forget about it and change price depedning on who you speak with.

This place used to be fabulous. It is terrible now. I order cake and empanadas and it seems they were a few days old and the flour they made them with was rancid. The insides of the empanadas were tasteless. The papa a la huancaina was bland. The seafood chaufa was mainly squid pieces. The only things that were good were good were Chicha morada and the picarones. The service was horrible- slow and nasty. The place looks rundown. A really disappointing experience.

I wanted the authenticity and this is the place you get it. Not in a position to judge peruvian cuisine, but for the first timer tastes good. Specially the desert.

Este lugar hace justicia a la fama de la comida peruana. Cada plato una delicia. Probamos varios y todos muy ricos, ceviche, patitas con maní, carne asada, anticuchos, picarones y una chicha morada aromática y deliciosa. El servicio muy rápido lo que indica que la cocina es eficiente y la atención cordial, agradable. Y la sorpresa es que contra todo lo esperado, los precios son bastante más bajos que en otros restaurantes similares. Muy recomendable.🤗

Volvi después de más de 20 años donde la Tía Delia y me fui contento, rica la comida, Empece con 1 Tamal ( masomenos la verdad ) después un Chaufa de Mariscos muy rico, Sopa de Carne exelente, y una porción de Anticucho con papá dorada también agradable Y su infaltable chicha morada. Anyone thinking of trying this Zero star rated DIVE should rethink it and save wasting their money. The service was beyond bad after calling in our order 45 min ahead of time and drove 25 minutes to get there. All we ordered was not prepared instead the person we will say is the owner calls us as we enter the restaurant to tell us he does not have nothing we ordered!!!! He tried to convince us he was doing us A FAVOR to revise all we ordered to dishes that were far far inferior!!! Then we ordered 2 desserts both were a cake that were beyond steal and being a chef myself estimate the cakes were week + old!!! I am honestly shocked the board of health did not close them up yet

Stopped in Paterson with the family, to see the Great Falls at the end of a long day trip in the NY/NJ area . We chose La Tia - which was within walking distance -, on a lark and weren't disappointed. It was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food above all, was great. We had the Peruvian version of Paella and Rotisserie chicken among others. Simply put, we loved it and plan to go back there sometime soon.

I’m sorry this place is a walking health code violation. Never again nope, had to go but could not eat the food.

I called to ask if they had a dish I wanted and they checked and said yes so I ordered it and drove about 30 minutes to get it. When I was already there I saw a voicemail that they left 2 MINUTES before I got there saying they didn't have the dish. YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR MENU! AND BE MORE CONSIDERATE OF PEOPLE'S TIMES AND GIVE THE RIGHT INFORMATION SPECIALLY IF I'M CALLING AHEAD TO DOUBLE CHECK.

Not what it used to be. I ordered a jalea (that was clearly fired in old oil) and ceviche (the fish was fresh but the flavor was off). The service was disappointing as well. There are better options in Patterson that consistently serve better food.

Ordered ceviche mixto, papa ala huancaina, and lomo saltado. The ceviche was very good, and the fish was fresh. The papa ala huancaina was good as well, although not exceptional. The lomo saltado was only average which was dissapointing. The fries and vegetables were well seasoned, but the meat was thin and dry for my taste. It also lacked any juice which makes lomo saltado special. Would definitely come again, but maybe not for the lomo.

La comida está bien pero el serviio malo nunca recogen los platos sucios de la mesa . Y cuanto uno pide algo más que falta en la mesa se demoran. Le dije al hombre que está al frente cobrando de cajero, que es pequeño , mayor con pelo blanco mira con actitud y le dije dos veces que limpiar la mesa y no se cerca. Yo estoy pagando por mi comida no me lo están regalando si lo melesta que les diga algo entoces cierre su restaurante.

if I could give them 0 stars i would. the chicken lomo prices have been shooting up every other month it feels like. which I would be ok with if the food matched the price . butthe chicken a lot of times are not fully cooked, no flavor, or over cooked and dry. they give you tiny portions and fill the bowls to go with rice. yet they charge 15. 50 for that nonsense. they are terrible with answering phone calls and barely can understand english.

Tía Delia is not what it used to be. Chicken has No flavor & french fried super soggy cooked in old oil! Plus they charge extra for everything! And the staff mad every single time I have gone in! Sad

I had not been to Tia Delia's in over 10 years, and thankfully it is just as delicious as I remember. It's a homey place that serves up great Peruvian food, the staff is friendly, it's low-key and I love the family style plates. I'll continue to keep coming here.

Decades later and the food is still good here. I've moved from Paterson decades ago and I just can't seem to find a good Peruvian restaurant near me. So, when I want good Peruvian food, I make the trip back here.

La Comida estaba bien, el cabrito era puro hueso y muy poca carne, yo se lo dije al señor que nos atendió pero no hizo nada.dos cosas que ordenamos no tenían, y tuve que cambiar mis ordenes.Yo creía que todos los empleados tienen que usar máscara? Si eso es así, aquí no lo hicieron.

AMAZING!!! I traveled her because if a youtube review I saw and food did not disappoint. I have had Purvian cuisine in Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island but this was the best hands down. My partner is Peruvian and he said it was exactly like the food you get in Lima. This is worth the travel and your taste buds will thank you.

Comida deliciosa y muy buenos precios. El ceviche estuvo súper fresco y rico. El sitio no es súper bonito y necesitan más meceros, solo es uno y un ayudante pero hacen muy buen trabajo. Lo q cuenta es su sazón y es muy bueno!

El restaurante es limpio pero luce antiguo, necesita renovarse. La atención es buena. Pedimos platos típicos tales como lomo saltado y seco de res para reconocer la sazón criolla y a nuestro parecer llega a comida casera sin llegar a ser gourmet. La falta de ensaladas en el menú es clamorosa. Aunque no reprueba tampoco es para lanzar un ¡oh! de cinco estrellas.
