Awesome place to go get some beers and some food. Food trucks keep changing so you get a lot of options for food. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Huge selection of good beer, great service and banter from the staff, dog and child friendly and lots of food options from the food trucks. Beats the hell out of all the other bars in the Woodlands.

We liked going here for a while, but over time fewer and fewer trucks were open. They have a kid play area but we showed up after a baseball game for lunch and we were told we could not enter. Makes no sense to have large picnic tables and a kids play area but can’t bring a few 10 year olds. Very cool set up, but won’t be going back after being sent away.

Came here yesterday around 2:30 pm for the first time and I had a pretty good experience it’s an outdoor/indoor environment very clean restrooms, the place itself was very clean tons of seating a good selection of craft beers 🍺 good selection of cocktails 🍹 they have I think three or four food trucks on site so you have a variety of food to choose from, so we ended up getting barbecue that was there and we ordered the brisket nachos and I have to say delicious from start to finish brisket was so tender the flavors just came together. I was so full after that I didn’t have room for anything else 😂, but I’m pretty sure the other food there is quite tasty. Now, the only bad thing about this place is if you come during the summer, you’re probably gonna be sweating so just keep that in mind but if that doesn’t bother you definitely give them a try. This place is family-friendly and bring the dogs because they’re also dog friendly 🐶

This is an awesome outdoor bar with a great selection of food trucks! One of my favorite things about Deacon Baldy’s is the wide variety of local beers on tap. Also, everyone who works here is extremely friendly with solid customer service. The place can get a bit packed at times but you can normally find a seat. Definitely recommend checking out Deacon Baldy’s!

A nice, covered, outdoor only gathering place with lots of beer selections to choose from. The food trucks have good eats but are sometimes slow in preparation. They have wine and cocktails as well but prefer the beer. Large, picnic style tables that are great for big groups.

We have recently moved back to the area. It had been awhile since we visited here. I had forgotten what a great place it is. Good food. Good people. Good atmosphere. Very relaxed. Just a great way to unwind with friends and family. Baldy’s will definitely become a “go-to” for us!!

Hip bartenders. Recently they’ve introduced cocktails and they are DELICIOUS. Food trucks are excellent. Raise pizza has EXCEPTIONAL gluten-free pizza. I got the jerk chicken and wow, so tasty. Great crust, sumptuous toppings. The owner is also very nice. Crawfish place is also excellent and the owner is very kind as well. This place is great, great concept, great execution. There used to be a sand pit / play area out back for the kids. Now there’s nothing out there but astroturf. Kids used to be occupied; it would be ideal if they could do something with that back part as a play area for the kids. This is a family friendly place after all.

Really cool place. Many different types of food. We had the Bar-B-Q Godfather, get the chopped beef sandwich and scratch macaroni and cheese. Or brisket nachos. But they have crawfish, Chinese, tacos, and if your in to craft beers, well you won't find a better set up. Crowd friendly. Baldy's is one of my top places to send people to not only eat, but enjoy themselves.

Multiple food trucks with a full service bar. We had the pizza, pepperoni was a little different than what I was used to. It was very good. The drinks were reasonably priced and also very good. The seating is open air picnic tables in a large covered pavilion type area located very near the food trucks.

I did not eat, but the food looked amazing! I enjoyed the atmosphere here, and the service was fast!

Okay - I think the general rules need to be established, as well as acknowledgment of the fact that we were there after church on Sunday. Deacon Baldy's, by my best estimate, is the bar area itself. The tenders kept the lines moving, and there was typically a line. I wish I'd counted the beers advertised; there must've been close to 50, and though I'm a simple, Bud Light kind of beer drinker, it was a great view! So, now the food... There were 5 different trailers there, and 4 were open. Remember, it was a Sunday. Trailer 1 was BBQ, "BBQ Godfather" I think - It was closed. That kind of hurt my heart. Number 2 was an Asian place that I don't recall the name of, but it looked like mostly messy food, for a messy eater such as me - I've got menu pics for clarification. Number 3 was a crawfish truck - my neices & family seemed to like them, but sadly, I did not partake. Number 4 trailer was Uncle Tony's Burgers - my wife and MiL had their food and were raving about it. Number 5 was my pick - "Raise Pizza & Eats" and where I got my pizza from. Simple order done extremely well - as much Peperoni as they felt would work, followed by enough cheese to make it nearly impossible to pull apart. They succeeded! The crust was a little light, but expected with the amount of toppings. All in all, I think it would be a solid 9 out of 10, IMO.

This is our first time at this spot ! The food from the trucks are all amazing. Raise Pizza really made a difference and stood out the most to us. Not only did they communicate with us while our food took a little longer than expected ,but they went the extra mile and made the best /most fresh pizza I have ever had. To top it all off the staff was so kind and brought our food to us with a sweet treat for my 4year old daughter to enjoy! We will most definitely be back!

Hands down my favorite bar in the area. The staff are awesome. Lots of great craft beer choices. Their cocktails are top notch. Food trucks are great. Always doing fun events.

We adore Deacon Baldy’s! Bartending staff is friendly and top notch. The clientele is local and cordial. Even the pickiest of beer people will find something new and delicious on tap. They always have a variety of sports on the tv. Bingo night is super fun. And we haven’t made it to trivia night yet, but the topics always seem fun. The food trucks are also amazing. The BBQ truck is NEVER open, at least not on any kind of schedule we can figure out, which is frustrating. But it’s the best pizza in the area. The burger truck has good burgers; but my fave are the onion straws. And the new Asian food truck is super yummy. We miss the Mexican food truck; but the crawfish one just showed up for season! Most importantly, the side area for kiddos to run wild is perfect. Usually kids of all ages are kicking balls, stacking jenga blocks, and making up games. When the weather is beautiful on weekends it’s gets a little wild for the younger kids, but usually, all the parents keep just close enough eye to let them think they’re running wild without letting them actually get into problems. We are here entirely too often.

A very cool hang out spot with great beer and lots of selections! However I will not be going back to Uncle Tony’s . We waited an hour for our burgers before asking about them. Was told the wind blew the tickets out of order so they ran out of items that we payed extra for and did not make it right, in addition to our burgers being wrong. Waste of a money.

I have been coming to Deacon's for a couple years now & absolutely love this place. The staff is awesome, the food trucks are delish, and the drinks are tasty. Several fun events throughout the week. Bingo is a personal fave and my friends and I rarely miss.

Great place to eat some food and have a few drinks. I ended up ordering the Spicy Hawaiian pizza from the Rise Pizza food truck. GREAT pizza. As for the drinks on draft I'm a dark beer guy and really liked their Ludwig Von Dunkel. Definitely would recommend.

Not a bad place, sadly beer very hot, they need to work on chilling the drinks! Staff...I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but they are not that friendly...now they have plenty of screens and when I asked them for the astros game...they simply refused to switch channels. Not so customer friendly...not coming back at the moment. My thought is...there are many more breweries in the area that will do whatever to please their customers and provide cold beer!

Love coming here and have had great experiences each time. Tonight at 9:30 the employees started cleaning up and we asked what time they closed, he said "10 at the earliest and 11 at the latest." Cool we still had time to wait for our amazing pizza from "Raise Pizza and Subs" and have some drinks. At 9:45pm the fans got turned off and it became uncomfortably hot. That's when we got the hint that everyone wanted to be out at 10 and we closed our tab. I will continue to go to this establishment, because it's a great place, but thought it was a bit rude of the employees to make everyone uncomfortable so they'd leave. I want to give another shout out to Raise Pizza. They were the only food truck open at 9pm on a Saturday night and knocked it out of the park, with the cannoli, pizza and garlic knots.

My absolute favorite local gem! The food trucks here have the best food around as well. Great beer, food, and service.

Great selection of beer and friendly service. Enjoyed the bbq pulled pork sandwhich. LOVED the pizza truck. Highly recommend the thai pizza. Real ingredients, better than real pizza. I tasted every ounce of love in that pizza. Loved how i didn't feel like complete garbage after I ate one of Ray's pizza, unlike dominoes or any other big chain place. The pizza was perfect with a Belgium ale on draft. Gonna be coming here a lot in the future. Thanks Baldys!

Went to Deacons Barbaque for the 1st time. I had the pork ribs and potato salad. Grandson had a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of seasoning. Give them a solid 9 out of 10. On 1488, just west of Xtreme movie theater. Give them a try! Nice owner too.

Love this place!! Lots of food truck options, lots of seating with both covered and not covered options. It’s also dog friendly as well as a great spot for kids with a grass area for kids to play. They offer bingo and trivia during the week. Their drinks are great with an expansive menu, all at good prices. Their bartenders are always great and friendly. The violet you’re turning violet is my personal favorite cocktail on their menu.

I wish there was a place like this in Maryland! As it is not, it will be my go to hang out spot when I visit TX. Great drinks, awesome food choices, and super nice bartenders. Bonuses, pet and family friendly!

Whether it's an event or just time to grab food and cold drinks with friends, this is our go to hangout. The atmosphere is family friendly, the food is great and there are tons of drink options that always hit the spot. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

Great place for families and a variety of food since they have a few food trucks out there. They have an area for kids to play. On hot days, make sure you bring sunscreen for kiddos, the area is open, and not shaded for kids. Overall, we enjoyed time spent.

Yall this place was amazing. The prices were fair. I got the scorching scorpion burger and unfortunately there was very little heat to the burger. The burger itself was flavourful and honestly pretty amazing throughout it just lacked the heat I was looking for.

Best combination of good microbrews, 2-6 food trucks every night, friendly tenders and atmosphere, great alternative music, and sports on TV. Best thing we've found in or around the Woodlands. We love the warm weather year round, they have garage doors if it gets chilly.

Awesome hang out and lunch/dinner place. We got the BBQ and pizza. Both were amazing….esp the mushroom pizza. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Made with fresh ingredients and yummy! The owner knows what he’s doing with pizza. Will def be back!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Limited parking but plenty of seating. The bbq truck was sold out. The crawfish smelled amazing. The strawberry gimlet was the right amount of sweet. This is a good place to visit.

I love Deacon Baldy's. The food truck 'Moyz' there has given me food twice now with hair in it though.
