First time trying it out today. I must say the food was amaizing so much that I went back to get another beef brisket sandwich to go for my partner! I will be coming back! It's a must try!!!

Got the 1/2 lb sausage and 1/2 lb brisket. The flavor was definitely in the sausage. The brisket could use a little more season. Seem like it dried out a little bit. But I definitely understand 😌. This place is going to be my new go to for my protein fix. Service was quick and was very friendly. Can't wait to try the BBQ sauce!!

Just met the fella for the first time. If I must say so myself, the ribs all the way on POINT, some special glaze he put on it make it stick to your lips lol. The brisket is busting too. All I can say is WAY TO GO DEAN. Keep up the excellent work my friend

The ribs were smoked and seasoned excellently. Hospitality was on point and I was able to taste before buying. Owner was very chill dude. Only regrets are living in Chicago and not buying more food when I had the chance.

I ordered food for a 40 person party from Dean's. He was absolutely kind and professional very flexible and the food was fantastic. We ordered brisket and chicken and every one of the party enjoyed the food. It was a hard week of freezing cold weather but that didn't stop Dean from having the food ready for us on time and tasting fantastic. Very grateful!

Best BBQ in the area!! The ribs, brisket, and chicken were delicious. The owner is a really cool guy. Showed up as he was shutting down for the day and he still went out of his way to treat us as if we were his first customers of the day! Glad to we found this little gem in kingwood.

The ribs by far are one of the best in the business. Succulent, with beautiful taste and smoke ring. I can't think of another place that beats their ribs. If you want ribs, try Dean's Rib Shack. It will not disappoint.

We had the pork ribs, brisket, tater salad, Mac n cheese and all of it was DELICIOUS! On top of that, the owner is truly a great guy. Do yourself a favor, don’t let the trailer fool you, you won’t regret the decision.

Let me just start out by saying the service, bbq everything and the beans are the best I’ve had and I have had some of the best in texas. I got the 2 pound family pack and added a half pound of sausage that was a mistake I should’ve got 2 pounds of sausage added the best sausage I’ve ever had and the corn is vary good I am also a avid hunter, so I am very familiar with good cooked meat. Now this was for my family for lunch when we were done everybody asked if we could have it again for dinner lol. I don’t write a lot of reviews but felt deans barbecue deserves this review. If you’ve never been there I highly recommend going if not, that’s just more for me.

Absolutely awesome ribs & brisket! Ribs were so tender and perfectly sauced! Brisket was great, just the right seasoning & pull apart yummy 😋 Definitely a multiple return to favorite!

Brisket was excellent. Food was ready quickly and expertly packed, with all the fixings, for pick-up. No mess to clean-up or wipe down when I got home and the meat was delicious.

The ribs were so yummy , fall Of the bone and Dean was a gracious host . Definitely coming back again for more :)

If you have any interest whatsoever in BBQ, you owe it to yourself to check out Dean's! It couldn't look more unassuming - a bright, clean, red food service trailer parked next to a car wash... But I'm serious. The best brisket and ribs I have ever had in my life. The sausage is great too, but the brisket and pork ribs are so tender and flavorful - they really stand out! And Dean is the nicest, most personable guy too! He gave me a sample of burnt ends on my first visit - just because he thought I'd like them. He was so right.

Their brisket sandwich is so good! I will def be coming back for more.

The best BBQ I've had in Texas so far, hands down. Beats a full service restaurant by a mile. The brisket was so tender, the sausage was delicious and the ribs were perfectly cooked and tender. No sauce needed here. And the corn with the fire Cheetos crushed on top are pretty good too!

Dean's food is some of the best Texas Style BBQ in the Kingwood/Humble Area. His brisket is to die for. Good smoke ring on the meat with an awesome Texas spice to it. His smoked sausage is a delicious venison pork mix and his ribs are so good they taste like candy. His food is top notch and definite must have.

The food is simply amazing. The man's really nice and service is surprisingly swift. It's a little pricey but worth every cent and then some.

If I can say the customer service was A1 unti I heard the person taking my order say “we can’t freeze them again”. My first bite led me to believe that my order was at least a day old. I let my son try them and his response was “they’re dry”. I run my own BBQ catering business and would never sell Day old ribs.

I visited the rib shack and to our surprise the ribs were some of the best I’ve tasted since I’ve been in Texas. The potato salad and beans were not lacking either and they were also enjoyed. The owner is very welcoming and we will be back. Do yourself a favor and go get some ribs, chicken and more…

Best BBQ in town. Ribs are amazing, best I've had at a restaurant. Great brisket too, especially with the house sauce. Dean is a pretty cool old school cat, nice to chat with and has great customer service.

I've driven past Dean's Rib Shack dozens of times, and now could kick myself for not stopping sooner. Can confirm what other reviewer's have said - Dean is a super friendly guy that knows his craft. We tried the two meat plates with ribs and sausage, with potato salad, corn and baked beams for the sides. The ribs were tender, with a nice smoky flavor and perfect glaze. The sausage was a smaller to medium grind that was peppery without being too spicy. Dean serves a mustard based potato salad; while I prefer a mostly mayo based salad, I can say his was well prepared (potato cubes were decently sized and not overcooked into a mush that seems all too common these days). We've all seen food prices rise in recent years, but Dean gives you a generous portion for what he charges. Definitely one of the better values you'll find in the area. He is obviously passionate about his food and enjoys what he does.

Ordered a rack of pork ribs but must have mistaken request for half rack. Also ordered pint of potato salad, received 1/2 pint.Tiny bones with scanty amount of meat. Single serving potato salad. Ate four ribs and a bit of ps.. ordered for 2 people so no way!! My husband and I were still hungry. Paid 46.00 will not be back. Doesn't have diet drinks. Be prepared to bring your own plate. Do not recommend

Unimpressed. Ribs had no flavor other than sauce. Beans way too sweet. Definitely canned corn with a "fiesta" sauce. Definitely won't be going back.

I tried Dean's Rib Shack out today and it was absolutely great 👍🏾 👍🏾 Dean was as his reviews already say, very nice and friendly about everything and you can tell he's extremely passionate about what he does and putting out a good product for the customers. I tried the Two Meat Plate and he took great care of me! The Ribs were very good and just fell off the bone I also really liked his BBQ sauce and it had the perfect glaze on the ribs. I also got the Sliced Brisket and it was very good too and the Baked Beans were absolutely bomb! Great food for a great price and awesome customer service I'll definitely be back. Only thing missing is maybe some Mac and Cheese, or dessert and lastly maybe drink variety like fresh iced tea or lemonade etc. Regardless Dean has a good thing here definitely check him out if you're in the area! Keep up the great work Dean and I'll come back and check you out in the future for that chicken 👌🤙🏾

First time here. Service is amazing - 2lbs of brisket, a brisket sandwich, and a slab of ribs disappeared faster than the wife can figure out a way to spend the money otherwise. The brisket was fresh, soft, juicy, tender. Perfect smoke ring on it. The ribs were amazing - great smoke taste and tenderness. The sandwich also didn’t stand a chance. Everything was gone in less than 5 mins. Highly recommended, definitely will come again. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried it.

Stopped by to try the food since I love BBQ. It did not disappoint. I had the ribs and a chopped brisket sandwich. The chopped brisket was chopped fresh(not yesterdays leftovers soaked in bbq sauce). The ribs had a nice glaze and smoke flavor. Do highly recommend. I will try the sides next time and update review. Dean the owner was super nice and passionate about bbq. All the best to him.
