Good, honest, southern cooking - all at a great price to boot.

Great lil spot for an amazing lunch at a price that matches. I eat here Two or three times a week during work. The food is good and filling but doesn't require a nap immediately after(not saying a nap afterwards wouldn't complete the feel). Make sure to stop in I suggest the honeymooner. If your coming and u have a big trailer on you you'd better know how to drive with it cuz parking is tight. Takes precise driving to get out.

Went to take my Mom from Assisted living only to find out they were closed. This is her favorite place and was saddened when she didn’t get to eat there. I guess we’ll try another time,

Always love DD, but recently I ordered the best German Chocolate cake ever! Four layers of heaven.‘I’ll order It and other desserts in the future! Thanks y’all! The banana puddings good too!

The last 2 times I’ve ordered to go, I’ve had a problem. 1st I ordered 2 salad plates just alike. One of the plates was missing a salad, that I paid for. Now this time, there was no utensils. You can’t really eat broccoli salad with your fingers.😏

Wonderful chicken & macaroni salad served by genuine friendly people

I got chicken pot pie take & bake (they have more awesome casseroles) it was so good! You can't beat a home cooked meal without all the work.. Also a fancy cookie that was very tasty 😋 so glad I discovered this place!!

The salad was amazing and so was the salad dressing. Could not eat it all. Got full. The potato soup was ok. Would highly recommend this stop.

We have loved going to eat at Delightful Dishes in Inman for years, as well as buying their casseroles and desserts. Now with the Pandemic, we have been grateful for their deliveries so we can get their delicious food brought right to our door, and their website makes ordering easy with great pictures of all their menu items.

Baked spaghetti is my all time favorite and their chocolate oatmeal cookies, oh my gosh best ever!!!!

Delivery today due to surgery and all of the food is wonderful! Family will have the frozen meals while I recover and the premade items such as chicken salad, macaroni salad, broccoli salad and pimento cheese make my meals easy too. First time trying cookies for dessert and they are the best I ever had. Can't wait to try new items! Do yourself a favor and stock up for your week; you will not regret it.

Our organization had our Christmas dinner catered by Delightful Dishes and it was Amazing! More food than we could eat.

Got my food to go and got home and the chicken had a weird texture. The rice had hard spots in it. I couldn't even eat it. Waste of money.

I've not had one thing I didn't like. From the frozen pre-made meals to swinging by for a quick bite at lunch. Great food and good people support these locals you won't be disappointed.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every dish I have ordered. The delivery service is awesome. Too many favorites to just name one. We love the Chicken and Rice, chicken stew, baked potato, lasagna especially. Please support local businesses.

The food is great! Just wish they had something online stating their dinning room is not open anymore. Pick up and delivery is still available. Hope this helps someone else before they drive to the restaurant to dine inside.

We found this restaurant/catering place in Inman. The daily specials are $8.25 and most of the desserts are $2.50. You can visit 9a to 4:30p M thru F or order delivery minimum $35 and $6 delivery fee. It's takeout and delivery only right now. They have macaroni salad, chicken salad, pimento cheese, tuna salad, egg salad, spaghetti, lasagna chicken pot pie etc. Well worth the trip to Inman located on Asheville Hwy near Inman Mills. 🥗🥧🍰🍝🍗🧁🥪🍔🍛

Always good! Love the chicken & tuna salad. I’m a picky chicken salad eater and this one never disappoints. I also love picking up a frozen lasagna or baked spaghetti to keep on hand for me or give to someone else.

The food was good, The desserts are great, but it wasn’t worth what I paid.

The mac and cheese is amazing! Everything else I’ve tried is delicious but the Mac and Cheese is the best. I have my order delivered to my job and it’s always on time and always correct. The delivery person is friendly. Ordering is easy. I love being able to stock my freezer with delicious, easy to warm casseroles and sides. The desserts are awesome too. I found this place when my employer engaged them for a catered lunch. It was wonderful and everyone raved about having home cooked food instead of boxed lunches. I can’t say enough good things about this business, their people, and their food.

Great home cooked food at the Dish. So glad they call Inman Home. We are lucky to have the catering, delivery service and in house good food Delightful Dishes has on their daily menu.

Truly delicious food. Been ordering from them ever since they opened. Everything they prepare is so good. Great to order from when you are going to a 'covered dish' get together and you don't "do" covered dishes! I particularly like to take their strawberry congealed salad to those togethers.

Everything I’ve ever had from DD is always fresh and so good. They have the best club sandwich around! It’s so easy to order online and pick up to take back to work. They also have delivery. Everyone there is so nice too. PS…. The desserts are sinful!!

Whatever you are looking for, Delightful Dishes has it. Salads, Casseroles, Cakes, or if you want a quiet minute to sit down and enjoy your meal, you need to be at Delightful Dishes. Just in case you need something to keep in the freezer for those quick meals, they have that covered too! Love the food and the wonderful staff. If you could find a friendlier staff, they would have to be members of the family.

All of their menu items we've tried have been delicious, but the birthday Carrot Cake they prepared for my mom's 90th was the best we've ever tasted!😃👍

The dining room is closed (at least for now). Extremely friendly and helpful staff that answered all our questions and gave us good recommendations. The food is prepared fresh upon ordering and was delicious! We're looking forward to using them for catering in the future. I would definitely recommend you give them a try!

Delightful Dishes is great for busy families. I purchased several casseroles to “stash” in our freezer for volleyball travel weekends when we return home late and are tired! The food is great and the service is exceptional!

We have ordered their Strawberry Cake in the past and found it to be delicious. Like a taste of summer. Last week we ordered the Red Velvet Cake for an early Xmas dinner with the kids. The kids live up in Asheville and asked , where is this bakery? We told them it is a bakery and more. I don’t know now which is my favorite. The Red Velvet Cake was divine!

I drop by for a pick up at least once per week. I have used the delivery service as well. I love all of the options at DD. Deliveries are timely. Food is always good. Desserts are divine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I am so glad you are in my neighborhood!

We do regular orders to go for lunch here and the food is so good. My favorite is the pecan crusted chicken 😋 but there's quite a few great dishes. They have a daily special that is offered on top of the regular items and even meal prep large orders available.

I am so glad we discovered weekly delivery by Delightful Dishes. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious. It is so convenient to have casseroles, etc. in the freezer that you can pull out and cook without further preparation. Having this delicious food delivered to the door is great service.

We were faithful customers of Delightful Dishes delivery. We especially loved the chicken salad and pimento cheese! Over the summer, we moved to Missouri to be near family and we REALLY miss our DD chicken salad and pimento cheese! It is just the best!

The chocolate chip pecan pie was sooo delicious!! My 3 kids even ate it and loved it and they don't normally eat pecan pie! Reminded me of my nannies baking. The casserole I got didn't tickle my fancy but because the pie was so good I think I'll try something else and fresh this time not take and heat. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Turkey and dressing is fantastic, sweet potato souffle just put our lunch over the top. Great meal!

Always a line to order, very busy but quick. About 10 min wait for order, or use their online ordering. Inside dining is NOT open, must eat else where. High fat sandwiches, very good artisan bread on sandwiches. I think bakery goods, but were all gone when i went in. Weird hours too. Salads are very small, nice additions like strawberries & candied pecans. High price, but good food. Only two soups, chicken stew was just chicken & cream.

I’ve had delivery and I’ve picked up. I’ve had a great experience with both things. I’m very thankful to have found Delightful Dishes. The food is delicious and “delightful “ as was the service.

The help at the other end of the phone is awesome! Polite, knowledgeable, and willingness to help! I’m from”Out of Town” (about 3 hours away). I have a daughter and her family who live at Inman. While visiting with her, she introduced me to “Delightful Dishes”. Of course I was delighted!! On her recent birthday, thought about sending flowers, but I remembered Delightful Dishes and called them immediately! She was so very helpful and friendly. Of course I placed my order from a great variety of casseroles, salads, desserts etc. They handled the rest, I was so pleased, my daughter and family were over the moon. She is a teacher and certainly deserves “ to be appreciated and I think this will make Her happy once again”. I’ll place my order tomorrow for a “Delightful Surprise” for her!! The restaurant closes at 2pm but the store is open later, no hot food, sandwiches, or soup after 2pm

We absolutely love Delightful Dishes!!! Always have what we order ready and waiting for us! The staff is so helpful and so nice! When I pick up my order, there is always social distancing marks on the floor! All employees wear a mask and everybody I have ever seen picking up an order is wearing a mask!! These employees and the owner does everything in their power to keep themselves safe and all the pickup customers safe! If there were more than 5 Stars to a rating, I would definitely give them the top number of stars possible!

Delightful Dishes is our favorite place to go for lunch. There is always a variety of choices and a “special” everyday. The desserts are scrumptious!! From sandwiches to salads to “meat & two”—everything is great. And portion size... enough for two on every plate. I wholeheartedly recommend Delightful Dishes to anyone who wants quality and value for lunch.

Delightful Dishes is the best food in Inman. During our quarantine, we have relied on their meal deliveries to our home. The Lasagna and Quiche are among our favorites. The food and service is consistently the best. We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving meal.
