This is an update for the great review I gave this location 7 years ago. We decided to try this Dion's again because of the great food and service we received 7 years ago. We had been frequenting the Bernalillo location since moving out to Rio Rancho but we will now start frequenting this High Resort location. Great food and service. Very clean and professional staff. They even cut the pizza in equal size pieces and they cut all the way thru the crust !!! Madi Rivera is an outstanding Customer service coordinator. Thanks again

Dion’s is always the best. As an Albuquerque native that lives outside of New Mexico, I make sure that I always come back for Dion’s. All my Albuquerque people know what’s up with the pepperoni w green chile, and if you don’t know then you gotta try it. The subs with the greek dressing are 10/10 also. This will forever be a go to spot. One hundred percent ALWAYS recommend!

I love the pizza. The crust is just right. The sandwiches are really good as well. The bread has a crispy bite and a good tender chew. You can't go wrong with the salad either. One of our family's favorite places.

Always consistent. They told us 10 min for a slice and it was way less! Saw a family friend that was working there! Great to see you Jarod W. Great service! Mom wood be proud!!!

I’ve bought Dion’s for years but just recently Dion’s is skimpy on their sandwich toppings. I always order a vegetarian sandwich.. lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoe, cheese that’s it! but recently they’ve either not put lettuce or only put very minimal easily a tablespoon of lettuce! Come on Dion’s it’s a vegetarian sandwich! Pile the lettuce on! I pay the regular price as if it had meat! Stop being stingy!

Ordered online. Went through the drive through and was given the wrong pizza. Called and the Manager told us we would receive a credit for the pizza we did not get! When I called to reorder for pickup and what a fiasco. Finally got it straight, so I thought. Hubby went to pick it up & they had not even started our pizza. And the replacement is NOT what I originally ordered online🤦🏼‍♀️.

It's always a favorite pizza place. Excellent service, great food, reasonably priced. My go-to for pizza!

We've been going to Dion's at High Resort for many years and have been satisfied overall, but our visit today was very disappointing. Normally the sandwiches they serve have a generous amount of meat, but the pastrami and provolone that I ordered was very light on meat. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she gave me a boilerplate response that the meat is weighed and is always the same. The sandwich prep person obviously made a mistake on weighing the meat but the manager would not admit that. This is very disappointing and makes us much less likely to dine at Dion's in the future.

Disappointment, one egg on a full size salad and literally a small container of the chopped vegetables. We ordered the chopped vegetable on the side and it was enough for one person. Are y'all going in the way of Blake's, a New Mexico staple, relying on nostalgia to make a buck and doing away with quality

I usually get a turkey salad for lunch because it's right next door to where I work and the price point works for me. I minus the dions mix (cucumber, green pepper, and onion) and add cheddar. I do love their ranch dressing, but I like the wishbone house italian on my salads more. It doesn't taste right with the dions mix, though. It's also the only place I know where you can get JUST iceberg lettuce! Most places put the green leafy mix and romaine in their salads, which ew. I am taking away a star because every now and then, I find brown yucky pieces of lettuce or huge chunks of the end of a head of lettuce in my salads, and that's no good. So, just pay closer attention to what you're handing out to people and I'd give that 5th star back!

Their pizza's okay used to be better nowadays. Sometimes it's undercooked sometimes it's overcooked. They're lacking consistency there. About the only thing they are consistent about these days is they don't know how to cut their Pizza. Like my gosh, every single time I get a pizza from them I got to recut that pizza before we can eat every time. I think I'm going to start going to village Pizza. This is getting ridiculous.

Um I asked for pepperoni slices. Two of them and they added like extra sausage for some reason. Read your orders carefully cooks! Or take your orders carefully cashiers!

Nice service ,I kept going up to order more.He didn’t get bothered.It was great.Our daughter received her Masters degree it was great Night.

Dion’s is good, the pizza can be a bit greasy but I think it’s improved

Not a fan of pizza. But if your want to eat in the greener side of things then check out their chef salad. It is very tasty and add a side of cheese bread with that salad you can’t go wrong.

My favorite pizza place in town. Wish I had a Dions in my home town. The full chef salad is to die for. Lots of topping and huge portions. Definitely large enough to share. Got the medium carnivore pizza. Had tons of toppings and meats. They do not skimping on the toppings. The ranch dressing is the best I have ever had. Super creamy. Lot of variety to choose from. Very friendly service. This is the place to go if wanting pizzas and salads.

This is another brilliant location for Dion's. It's right in the middle of many medical and shopping destinations. The staff here are pleasant and attentive to the customers. You can tell it's a popular spot for locals and travelers alike. Our small pepperoni pizzas from here are awesome!

I ordered the 505 Pizza (pepperoni & green chile) with original crust. Oh man, that pizza was delicious! I look forward to visiting again.

I’ve been here several times and there is always some issue. So frustrated with employees not listening to people. Funny thing we ordered on line receipt said the right order.

Pizza was cold and had long wait

Not bad, could be better. Ordered the chicken pecan salad, seemed to have less chicken and pecans than other locations. Subs were good, bread wasn’t toasted, a little stale. Staff tries hard, which is nice, but waiting to pick up an order 20min through the drive through seems a bit long.

The crust wasn't cooked enough but the pizza was still delicious. The staff is always so nice and friendly!

Worked at the Rio Rancho location as a teen. Returned with my family on a trip back into town- food hasn't changed and service was decent. Only downside was an off the clock employee was talking to an employee working the pie station and the off the clock employee was hanging over the sneeze guard while the other person was making pizzas. Kind of gross. Happy we got our pizza before that happened.

Woo! Love this place. One of the best pizza kitchens in the country! The staff is beyond nice and treated me like family!

We stop by nearly weekly for sandwiches or pizza. The staff is always friendly and courteous.

Sometimes pizza is soggy or wet almost. Other days pizza is excellent..

It always feels chaotic at this location. Went with my grandson and daughter. We found a nice bench area where we could entertain him without him interrupting the other guests (he is 13 months). One of the tables was dirty and remained so throughout the time we were there. The pizza and sandwiches were great! We enjoyed some time eating and talking. My grandson loves the fruit cup! Parking was a bit stressful. I guess people are too busy leaving to look before they back out, we almost got hit! The ordering area is a bit small and feels tense. There were people standing around waiting for their orders and it was hard to tell who was in line. Once we ordered, we went to find a seat. The speaker is not very loud when they call your name for your order, but we were able to hear it and got it in about 15 minutes.

Can't beat the local food at a great price!

I ordered a pick up. This was my first pizza in New Mexico. Yum, most people wanna find that home base pizza place when they're new. Yep, I got it!

Quick easy dinner. Meatball sub was on point!

Food was not very good and highly priced. Service was also not to par. Cleanliness of establishment was lacking as well. Only reason we come here to eat is other places had a long wait.

We like it! We are from Chicago and very very picky about pizza. Here in New Mexico they’re really isn’t anything that compares but with good fresh ingredients that Dion has, we are happy to eat their pizza :-)

Surprisingly in this land of mixed nuts, staff is business friendly and accommodating. Their food is consistently good. This is far better than the preservative laced garbage served @ Pizza not!👍

Sandwiches were amazing as usual, minus the fact that we keep getting potato chip crumbs with our Sandwiches. Kick it up with the potatoe chips, fewer crumbs, more whole pieces.

Ate lunch here today with my kids and my mother. Great food! Great staff! Very clean and had a great lunch! Food was ready pretty quick…VERY IMPRESSED!

Pizza was hot and salad was crispy. Price wasn't bad.

I was told when I ordered my pizza that it would be 20 minutes. After 25 minutes and two people who came in after me getting their order I decided I should check. I was told "it will be right up" 5 minutes later, same thing. After 35 minutes I decided to cancel the order. Finally at 6:44 I got my card credited. Asked to speak to the manager and it turned out it was one of the teenagers that had been "lying" to me and saying it will be right up. I didn't bother asking her what happened because it was obvious that none of the young people knew. Admittedly it was busy but all the more reason I think you need an adult to help run the show. At least they would know enough to call the customer to the counter and tell them the truth instead of continually putting them off. I have been to other Dion's but this is the first with such terrible service.

It’s makes me sad to give a bad review! I love dions! But the high resort location has disappointed me for the 3rd time. I order full turkey salads on the regular. The last 3 times now there has been little to no meat on the salads. The meat I get wouldn’t even cut it on a half salad. I should of taken pictures but I always forget. But I could say the meat would fill a 1 year olds hands. Idk it’s definitely not enough for a full size salads. It needs Improvment. I won’t be getting salads for a while now, :(

Great food with an amazing atmosphere!

I ordered a sub this evening, so much cheese was on it almost choked. It was not good melted cheese it looked half way melted into like plastic. And so many bell peppers I had to take out just to try to eat. Very sad. I truly enjoy the subs from here but tonight was not the same.

1st time having pizza from this place. Pizza was AMAZING! when I'm back in town, I will definitely go here again.

Very clean on the inside. Workers are very friendly. The drive thu is pretty quick and my orders are never wrong. Happy workers inside and drive thu. One of our favorite places for pizza and subs.

Dion's has been a family favorite for many years. When we lived outside of NM for 4 years, it was always one of our first stops when we would come home to visit. Very consistent and always delicious.

I have to say for having a mostly teenage staff they are on it. These days that is extremely rare! From the excellent food to the customer service very consistent and doesn't disappoint!

This place is great, you get what you pay for the place. Look, food tasted good. Cool environment on a hot day people were polite bathrooms are clean. I have no problems with this establishment..

Dions is now on the chopping block! They increased their price of the ranch and are now skimping!!!! No longer thick with a great taste, now it’s super watery and not as good!!!! What a joke, always trying to take advantage of the working people by up charging for less of a product! No more Friday pizza nights until this is fixed.

The staff at this location was very friendly and professional. They asked if we needed anything else. Our food was delicious and hot and plenty of toppings. We live on opposite side of town but we will come to this one now. Thank you A++++

The pizza here is always amazing. The kids that work there always seem to be really hustling and happy to be there which is infectious. The atmosphere is ... A pizza joint. There's not much more they can do which is why I gave it 5 stars. It's not that the atmosphere is amazing, just that it's as good as a pizza joint can be.

Placed my order at 7:38pm. It's not bust but this crew of about 8 or 9 is having fun and laughing which is ok if you're doing your job. It is now 7:55 and they just now called out my one sandwich 17 minutes to make one sandwich when it's not busy is ridiculous. Next time I'll drive into Albuquerque. Never have issues there

I've been going here since i was a kid. Great place, great for the family.

Food wasn't as good as it has been in the past, salad wasnt fresh and the pizza had more grease (pepperoni). Service was slow (I went during off peak hours).

Great place family friendly for sure.

Dions always a good place to go after a baseball game or to enjoy some pizza with the family. The service was quick and easy and got everything that we had ordered the green chili ranch with our pizza was delicious!

Ordered a carnivore pizza that had a bunch of pepperoni very little sausage, ham, or bacon. Should have taken it back but didn't. It was like a pepperoni pizza.

I eat a lot of pizza and I eat a lot of Dion's usually their pizza is ok but tonight we got wet pizza. Called and flgot manager who told us that's completely normal you order extra pepperoni and you get wet pizza. Also order was missing mushrooms on one side.

My daughter wanted pizza for her birthday and this was the place she picked. She loved it and customer service was great!

Dion has been my favorite pizza place since I was a kid, no other pizza place compares to dions pizza, it's the best pizza ever.

Great family atmosphere. Good food. Servers and cashiers are all young. I think some of them could be trained to remember they are at work and not a social gathering. But all in all good place to eat.
