I was surprised that the pizza wasn't as good as I remember. The crust should have been cooked a little longer. Tasted raw dough. The chef salad was good as always. Prices definitely went up.

Love coming here for a nice lunch and a sit down with friends, it’s a great place to study/ work and I know I won’t be distracted or disappointed in food quality

Food / quality going down hill fast. Very sad as Dion's is a New Mexico gem, not sure if it's just this location on Unser & Cabezon, but something needs to be looked into. Gourmet Pizza - tasted old and nothing gourmet about it. Meat tasted off. Pepperoni Pizza- Well, a $5 pizza from Little Caesars tastes better. Maybe they rushed baking it and then it sat there, or they had half of it made way beforehand and then just stuck the toppings on later. Family size Salad- tomatoes were kinda mushy, the sliced ham was overly salty (maybe different supplier?) I don't know what is going on but this is not Dion's flavor or freshness. Truly disappointed.

Please remember that the people who work here are mainly teenagers or young adults. So may take some time but always amazing service and food.

I had a very nice mushroom and pepperoni pizza. with good salad I was a guest of my son and grandson. That made today's lunch extra special.

Zero hospitality, zero personality, food has absolutely gone down the drain,usually loved to eat here ,now this place is garbage , pizzas aren't handled with any care zero uniformity, seems like no one cares anymore!!!!!

Worst experience as of yet, messed up both orders of pizza.

Dions does it right. They messed up the original pizza(half of it) so they make a new one on the house in less than 15 minutes. The manager also comped some dressings for the incovience. The cherry on top is that the Pizza was 💣. They should teach a class to the other restaurants in Rio Rancho

Order online or via phone for faster service. Pizza, subs, and salads are great. Dions ranch is a great complement to the pizza. Great local restaurant

First time at this Dion’s. The service was great and our subs were ready quickly. These were the best subs we’ve ever had from a Dion’s! The bread was hot, crispy and fantastic! I was still thinking about that sub the next day. Oh, we’ll be back soon! We’ve already been back - got the same subs & just as good! (And a photo this time.)

Love Dion's ... Pizza, salad and sandwiches what more could you ask for.... Maybe calzones? Tiramisu?

What's this... the last 2 times at this location the pizzas been burnt.

Pizza isn't as good, anymore. Extremely greasy, sauce was watery (like it has been sitting there for a while and thawed), cheese was weird. There sure was NOT extra cheese. Considering calling, shortly, to figure out what is going on. Havent had pizza this [garbage], in a long time... Well, Maybe just this location. Used to be a lot better. It's unfortunate. I'll give dions another go, and if it's similar to today's visit, I'll find other pizza locations. Staff was pleasant, though! Edit - haven't gone back, yet. Bumping review to a three until I do (reason - owner reached out and showed kindness). Edit #2 - Rating changed to 5 stars. Owner Madi and the staff of the location went above and beyond to help me with the dilemma. Everything changed in this location, big time! Came back and all promises made were fulfilled. Huge props!

Pretty good. When I want a salad, I usually either go here or to the one at Montano and Coors. The Gibson and University location isn't too bad either. I've tried the one at Central and Coors and the salad is always wilted and seems old, so couldn't recommend that location. But it's hard to beat a Dion's Greek salad!

Most of the tables needed to be wiped down and cleaned. The rest of the restaurant looked clean. Great meatball sandwich. The food is great. I'm sure they were just under staffed today. I'll definitely go back

This is pizza perfection. The base is baked to a nice golden crunch and with a nice chewy texture. No slacking on toppings and they are fresh and flavorful. My pizza is pepperoni, green pepper, roasted red pepper, kalamata olives, and tomatoes (sliced not chopped). Dion's came back from COVID better than they were before.

I tried Dion's yesterday. I am very impressed. Best pizza place in Albuquerque, honestly, best pizza in new mexico staff was very Professional and friendly and service was Top notch

Had a birthday party for a 10-year-old. I'm not sure others in the restaurant felt the same about the atmosphere with a party of tweens singing and laughing but we thought it was perfect for our purpose.

It's always a delight to have Dion's for dinner. Their pizza and turkey subs are great and obviously, I recommend them.

Always the great pizzas and salads.. Please note, though, that they put in a lot of lettuce (ask for the field greens?), and a lot less other stuff, like cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. Very disappointing. I may have to rethink this....

It was my first time at Dions. Atmosphere was good, customer service was great, I had a ham sandwich, it was okay, bread was overly toasted.

Hadn't been there in years. My loss! Great pizza and Greek salad. And the ability to preorder on line and specify a pickup time - fabulous! (Especially when it's actually ready when you get there!) My "go to" for pizza now.

Dions is my new go to place Love Dions because of the variety of salads and when you need a good salad Dions is the place. My favorite is the Pecan Chicken Salad, but the Chef Salad is great 💯💯.

I have been a Looooong time fan of Dion’s… but I am sensing a decline in quality and I am finally writing about it. The lettuce and cheese no longer come in the sandwich… they are just sprinkled on top, apparently.

The food is amazing and I loved this place it's one of my favorite restaurants.

This location has gone down hill since it opened. I live in the neighborhood, so we have been patrons from the beginning. We used to love this place, especially for the pizza but now it's just a soggy crusted, SUPER greasy, blob of cheese and mostly uncut pizza. The last time I suggested Dions (this location), my kids said they wanted to go somewhere with "real pizza". Hard to keep suggesting someplace that nobody wants to go to anymore. Side note - the Chipotle Ranch is excellent.

Got a large pepperoni pizza and a chef salad, the quality of the items and service have seriously gone down hill. The pizza was barely sliced individually and since we’re moving we had no knives available to cut through the slices, tore them apart which was messy. The salad was horrid, about 80 % of the lettuce had already turned mushy and wilted. My family won’t be going there for a while after this visit.

75 min wait time. Unacceptable. Went inside since 10 cars in drive thru. One cashier and line on both sides of entrances. Waited another 5-10 min then left and out to drive thru since seemed faster. Pizza lukewarm.

Food delicious, almost self service! Very low key atmosphere. However recommend the food, if you like a quieter meal time this is your place.

Nothing extra ordinary about the pizza. Very plain and basic taste. I have had better come out of a box from the grocery store. Topings were sporadically and unevenly scattered on the pizza.

What happened to this Dions??? My family and I use to go here for years because of the great customer service and polite workers and now the last few months when we would call to place a order the workers are extremely rude, and sound like they are being bothered. This last phone call we tried making for a to go order, the worker didn’t give her name but the ENTIRE phone call she was rude, kept sighing and all around just unwelcoming. When the phone call was ending and we finished ordering we heard the worker hang up the phone by slamming it. You could literally hear the slam on the receiver. Keep in mind I was polite to her from the start to end of the conversation, I use to work in customer service myself so I know what it’s like to get some mean customers and when I’m at a store or restaurant/making a call for a to go order I always make sure I’m not difficult or rude, but the whole time I was on the phone with her I kept thinking “she sounds bothered.” And this was the last interaction with trying to place a to go order here. The other stories from the last few months would be too much to type and have been similar, rude. And I’m left with feeling uneasy about getting my food, because of how bothered their employees sounds. If they are so careless with their attitudes and these were just phone calls, imagine how careless they are with the food because after experiencing these type of employees on the phone, our food was messed up, cold and even one time I found a twist tie thing for I assume their bread of whatever they use it for in our food. Needless to say this last interaction on top of the others we will not be returning. Do better Dions ✌🏻

What happened to this place? This used to be our favorite pizza spot, but things have gotten ugly. Last two orders have been terrible. Previous order we got an openly rude and hostile phone clerk. Then they gave us this cracker crust thin crust thing we didn't order on our large cheese pizza. No flavor, no sauce to speak of. Then today, we ordered a full tossed salad with provolone, and two slices of green Chile pineapple. We got a half tossed, no provolone, and two slices of pepperoni. What a collosal f up. To add insult to injury, pizzas and slices seem to be downsized, while prices have been up sized. Don't know if it is just this location, or a city wide problem, but there are other, better choices to spend your pizza dollars.

It was amazing to me. Met with my daughter who I hadn’t seen or heard from for past 4 years. We talked enjoyed a pizza in a very pleasant, comfortable safe place.

Put my order in 50 minutes ahead then went to pick up, and the employee in front register stated they don't know what happened to my ticket and my pizza was never put into oven, so had to wait another 25 minutes. I talked to the manager and wasn't much help except that I would have to wait. I was very disappointed with this location and I usually order quite a bit too.

The food was great as always. The dining room needed to be cleaned, and there were flies everywhere.

A new mexico staple. Still our fav food, even our out of town family want to have 1 meal here before they head home.

Not like any Dion’s I’ve been to. Veggie pizza was different. Chucks of veggies on top & maybe not cooked all the way.

I love their subs. Always fresh and their bread is so good. My grandkids and daughter love their pizza and their bread with melted cheese.

Ensure you make sure you have what you ordered before you leave. Employees assume they know what you want even though you speak clear English and explain it over and over again. There is nothing worse than getting an order to settle down for the day and to get home and it not be what you ordered. A lot of young people work here, who may have issues understanding your clear and exacting instructions in English as they interpret it how they want- even when its not Spanish.

Girl handling the drive threw was snotty short and basically rude wasn't a good experience pizza was ok the forgot to make our sandwiches so had to wait even longer they dropped the ball

Our group likes to meet up at Dion's because we like to chat and linger over salads and sandwiches. We always get a large table.

We love that there's a drive through for pick up orders. Service was fast and friendly! The food was good! The pizza could've used a few more minutes in the oven, other than that it was delicious!

The food is almost always great here. I have learned that Sunday evening is NOT a good time to visit. Neither is visiting a couple of hours before closing. The quality of food drops considerably in those times.

We come to Dion’s all over town all the time. Honestly the portion sizes of salads are much smaller here. Ordered a full salad to go for $9 and the bowl hardly had any lettuce and 1 1/2 strips of chicken. Mentioned it at the counter and the gals said that’s how they come. Then, they forgot the salad dressing and I had to come back. It’s very rare for me to give a low review so Dion’s, please work on this!

Everyone needs to eat Dions in their lifetime. Green Chile pepperoni or the Tuscany are mu favorite! Then the Ranch salad which comes with Pastrami!

I placed an online order at this Dion's location for some pizzas in the morning before heading out into the desert for a film shoot, expecting to be back in town to pick up the pizzas before the restaurant closed. Unfortunately we were delayed, and by the time we were heading back into the city, it was just past closing time and I hadn't picked up the pizzas. We called, hoping someone would pick up, and talked to Julie, who said she would wait for us to get there so we could still pick up our pizzas. When we got there, she had them ready for us, kept in the warmer so they would stay warm. We know this was a huge favor to ask, and you didn't have to help us out, but we are so grateful that you did! Absolutely phenomenal customer service - you totally rescued the end of a long and tiring film shoot day, and the pizza was delicious as always! Thank you Julie and Dion's!!

I order the turkey salad and always pay for extra turkey and I have yet to see anything that looks like “extra” this place has gone down hill

Dions in Cabezon is by far the best Dion's when it comes to their pizza. We have gone to other Dion's out of convenience and are always let down. The pizza is always burnt or verylittle toppings at these other Dions. Cabezon Dions makes their pizza to perfection. The crust is amazing and cooked perfect. And they have friendly staff which is a bonus.

I'm from out of town, here working, and this is one of the places I was told I should check it while I'm here. The pizza was good, prompt service at the counter, and nice, comfortable booths. Definitely worth checking out.

Food is always good. Most of the time, special orders are correct. Occasionally, food takes much longer than time given when ordering online.

I wouldn’t suggest ordering at this location. Overall terrible experience. No customer service skills at the window, inside, or leadership.

Ive been here lots of times and its still the Best pizza in town and has great service.

Had a nice lunch. My husband split a salad and a 10 inch sub sandwich and water. It was plenty to eat and was very good.

The ingredients are always great, but my pizza was heavily center loaded which is a no no in pizza making. After all slices are cut, the majority of the toppings are in the middle of the pizza on the skinniest part of the slice and basically fall off without repositioning. I'm sure they teach them on how to build a proper pie.
