You must see the beauty within this small business bakery. Brazilian owner, Niela, shared her amazing story while we enjoyed a pour over coffee and a slice of decadent salted caramel cheesecake. Everything is made in house. Lovely!

Vast variety of delicious Macarons, but the Lavender one was dry. Banana nut cake is juicy and perfect. The shop is small and they lack different baked products such as croissants, etc. will definitely come back to try other stuff.

If you love decidant sweet treats, you must visit Doce Vida Brazilian Bakery! A friend introduced me to this sweet shop and I couldn't be more grateful. I have been back many times since to purchase more macaroons, cookies, toffee, cake pops, brownies, hand made taffy and candy, and so much more! The variety of cakes is endless. My favorite is red velvet, but they also offer German chocolate, carrot cake, banana nut.... There's so many varieties of sweet treats even the pickiest eater will find a scrumptious treat and love every bite. There is something for everyone and I highly recommend stopping by and seeing what they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered a large Chantilly cake for their Wedding Cake. Bride and Groom are both in Recovery, so when they told me it was made with Triple Sec, I was worried. The lady said, no problem we will make it with simple syrup. They did and it was fantastic Maybe even better than the normal one. I Love Love Love this bakery. Kathy Bailey

I don’t feel like typing everything in here, so just take it from everyone else’s reviews. All of the deserts here are delicious and would definitely come back multiple times. Highly recommend visiting. My personal favorite is the Mardi Gras cheesecake, and you should definitely go try it. 5/5 stars

My kids love the macaroons (tons of flavors)! My husband's favorite is the Almond Joys & the Chocolate Oreo Cookie Mousse is amazing, my favorite. Clean place,friendly staff and a ton of choices.

5 stars really isn't enough. Cozy atmosphere, amazing staff, DELICIOUS treats. My kids love going in and picking out their treats. I've never left out of Doce Vida unimpressed by the variety and gift options offered for every occasion. Reasonably priced and upfront service. Used to kind of shop the different bakeries in the area but have become an exclusive Doce Vida customer and plan to stay that way!!!

They do excellent work and their cakes are absolutely delicious. The only bakery my kids want to make their birthday cakes!

But bread is by order and pastries not every day so call and check what day...Anyway, I very much, please.. with my choices so far.. be sure and give them a chance. I'm will be ordering bread

5 STARS!!!! I loved the owner the minute I saw her. Professional, but so helpful and kind. She honored me with the most beautiful gluten free wedding cakes! Never had we seen such big cakes consumed so quickly. My husband was so disappointed that he only got one bite of his grooms cake, I had another ordered for his birthday. This bakery is a must try!!

Sweets. You walk in and you smell the sweets. I always have a hard time deciding what i want! I started on caramel apples, chocolate mousse, and now Chantilly cupcakes! She also does a different bread daily. I've yet to catch these as the sell out quickly. And she does custom cakes! She does it all! And it's amazing! Worth a trip.

You won't find fresher baked goods anywhere else!

The people are absolutely wonderful. Only outdone by the confections. Try a Napoleon when they can keep them in the case. The place is beautiful in every aspect.

I was having lunch with a friend last weekend and noticed all of these people going in and out of the bakery. I decided to stop in and inquire if they made any sugar free desserts because my Mom’s Birthday was coming up. She’s a diabetic and I wanted to surprise her with a tasty treat. I decided on the banana pudding. I bought two of them and let me tell you, this pudding is everything! My Mom absolutely loved it and so did I. The taste is deliciously light and fluffy and the smell is tantalizing. I will definitely visit this location again! The store itself is cute and inviting and the customer service is stellar!

It's not very often that i give 5 stars, always have room for improvements. Well ladies, y'all have blown my tastebuds out of the water!!! It was a god send to have meet y'all and So glad we made the 45 minute drive to your bakery. Will be calling soon..

This place is a little back-street gem! If you're in Alexandria, don't miss the chance to visit. They have a large variety of sweets; cookies, tarts, cake bowls, macarons, cake pops, etc. It's really clean and beautifully decorated, and the staff are helpful and nice.
