I love it here at Dolce Marie! Not only is the food and service and vibe great, but as someone who has celiac disease, I am extremely grateful for the gluten-free options! I also love that they are willing to customize your order, for instance, I added not only an egg to my ricotta and spinach tartine, but avocado as well, and it was incredibly delicious! Highly recommend!

It was absolutely the best Italian pastries I ever had 😍 delicious and fresh, I loved my cappuccino and espresso as well. The staff are really nice and helpful.

This place is hands down the best coffee and breakfast/brunch spot! The service is great. The people are so nice and make you feel like home. 10 out of 10 spot!

Marie & her staff are incredible. The view from the massive windows of the park are stellar. The desserts are NEXT LEVEL. Almond cookies and the special “peanut butter & Jelly bar” are the best. Huge Fans.

Really cute place, I was impressed with both the food & coffee. Went there for lunch, but ordered a coffee and it was surprisingly delicious (even better than the coffee shop down the street). The bakery items also looked amazing --- looking forward to trying them at some point.

Good pastry and pleasant ambience

We found Dolce by accident one day more than 2 years ago and have been coming weekly (from 25 mins away) ever since. We absolutely love everything on the menu, the coffee and all of the baked goods! The staff is beyond wonderful and takes the time to really get to know their customers. Dolce Marie is such a special and wonderful place and we are so thankful we found them!! It's the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee and pastry. Couldn't recommend it more.

Cozy park side cafe. I enjoy the variety of options in such a small place! Tuna salad sandwich with the side salad is my go to!

This place is Amazing! The food is wonderful as is the wait staff. it's a must! If you haven't tried it you're missing out on the best from sandwiches to dessert!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my daughter. The chicken salad on a brioche roll was amazing. We shared a brownie for dessert, best brownie I've ever eaten. Friendly staff. Would go back again.

The baked goods are exceptional and all of their breakfast and lunch foods are just as delicious. That alone would have us returning regularly, but the lovely people that work here and the great ambiance take this place to the next level. Our favorite place in town, easily. Great for couples, small families, etc., and always so accommodating for our kids.

Holy... probably the best french toast I've ever had. Please do yourself the favor and get it, with a cappuccino. It's that good. Jesus. And the lovely lady at the counter - you're so sweet.

I’ve been eying this place on Instagram and couldn’t wait to try it! I walked in with my infant daughter and the staff was busy waiting on people who were eating breakfast in the shop. The owner immediately apologized for the wait and said they were understaffed. I couldn’t decide on what to order, either the banana bread or blueberry scone but I got the banana bread & an iced coffee. I had mentioned I was an avid follower on IG and the owner was so sweet and so so gracious to offer me the scone to try too! That was so incredibly thoughtful. Both pastries were out of this world!! So soft and moist and so much flavor!! My iced coffee was even delicious too! Thank you for such wonderful service that you didn’t need to give me, I will be sure to rave about you to others & come back for more pastries (and the quiche!!) Thank you again! ❤️

I'm lucky enough to live around the corner, and my only concern is that they'll get tired of seeing me every weekend morning. This place is simply wonderful: coffee is always on point, service is top notch, atmosphere is cozy, and the food is delicious 🤤

Cute and cozy cafe (accidental alliteration 😊). I only went in for my fix of caffeine and the batista recommended a French Toast latte. It was delicious and not too sweet at all! Will definitely return!

one of my favorite coffee shops i found during the pandemic. carrot & date nut cake are the best in essex county . love their espresso. feels like home. everything made from scratch in house!!

I came to Dolce Marie for the coffee and stayed for the pastries. I come back regularly for both! Easily the best cup of coffee on all of Bloomfield ave; I take a red-eye. But what really makes this place special is Marie’s pastries: Biscottis, scones, crumb cakes, ricotta cookies, and always a special or two. The cream puff is better than your Nonna’s. I’ve had the frittata and the bacon, egg & cheese for breakfast. Both were very good and now I have a hard time choosing between the two. The tuna salad is my go to. It’s always fresh, has little capers in it for a balance that I love, and it’s made with the best french baguette you can get in NJ. (I’m not kidding, they get their bread from Balthazar bakery in Englewood). A true gem of Verona and Bloomfield ave.
