Best carne asada burritos in town

4 tacos ( adobada, asada, birria, and cabeza) and a Sidral Mundet ( Apple cider/soda). Everything was delicious. $3/taco with plenty of meat. Great loca food at a decent price. Not too mention, nice covered/clean seating area with a portable A/C unit to keep guest comfortable. A little gem right off 1-10 on Palo Verde. 👌

Delicious! The birria was juicy and well seasoned and it's been a long time since I found a place that makes a proper torta with the "right" bread. Yay! Can't wait to get back to Tucson to try it again.

Really a hidden gem in Tucson! Excellent food, I especially love the carne asada and cabeza tacos, but everything I've tried here is delicious. Service is awesome and friendly, and the price is hard to beat. It's worth looking for this place, you won't regret it

If you're working around the Tucson airport save your time with el nene or losabores. They are good but here is 10x that. Their bacon wrapped carne asada burrito is something you can't pass up. So good I ate here 3x the week I visited. Thank you

Great place for lunch. Covered outdoor seating. Excellent food. You order your food eat it then you go up and pay. An honor System that can't happen in most places very great place to eat.

Great food truck! Carne asada burrito is huge, griddled, and delicious! Cash or card accepted. They have a tent attached with some tables if you want to eat there.

This place has AWESOME tacos! I eat a lot of tacos and make them at home on a regular basis. This place is legit. The meats are all on point, the toppings and the sauces. Many of the patrons don't speak english, which says something. The service is quick and friendly, no complaints. The atmosphere is low key and very plain, it reminds me of taco stands along the border. If you like real Mexican food, this is the spot.

Excellent food truck. Tacos are about $3 each; huge burritos are about $12. They have huge bottles of Mexican Coke for sale as well. Service is fast, and oddly for a food truck, you don't pay until you're finished. There is limited seating in a large tent that keeps out the sun (still quite hot when Tucson hits 110).

The lady that works the register also handles the food. Does not wash hands or wear gloves before touching food after handling money. I refused my order

Years later and the food and service is still just as exceptional as it ever was. You simply cannot go wrong with anything on their menu!! Everything is so delicious and fresh.

Very tasty carne asada burrito and the meat was nice and tender. I also tried the chorizo breakfast burrito it was so good, and the tortillas were made fresh. I will be stopping here the next time I am in town!

Bacon wrapped burritos! Is there anything else to say? But seriously, the food was delicious and worth the 10 minute wait as they thoroughly cooked the bacon wrapped around our burritos. My friend thought the carne asada was just ok, my chicken burrito was spectacular. Per the norm we arrived just before 11am, no line. But shortly thereafter, it got busy. Expect to wait, but it is worth it. Thank you ladies of Doña Alicia, you made my day!

Food is ok just don’t go here if you’re hungry. They were taking selfies as I waited patiently over 45 mins just for them to forget an item in my order and had to go back. Definitely will be going anywhere else from now on. Unsatisfactory.

These ladies rock! Fantastic food, great service and just super nice. My Spanish poor and moms English was poor, so her daughter stepped in and help with a smile to brighten anyone day. Even let me borrow a bottle opener. I would recommend them to anyone that wanted great food in a clean sitting area at a price worth a 100 mile drive.

Flavorful Good portions for the cost Affordable Not greasy Pleasant service Best of all the Salsa added to the experience, it didn’t try to burn its way through my esophagus or impersonate water. All outdoor taco stands should strive to be this good. Next time we’re in the area we’ll return.

Some of the best tacos in Tucson! The carne asada is excellent. This is my husband’s favorite place to get a torta as well. We’ve tried the Sonoran dog and it was good, but not our favorite. Stick with the tacos and you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered a carne asada burrito.... bean were hard and dry and so was the meat. It’s 10$ for a burrito. Not worth the price.

This place is a "MUST STOP BY"!! Dona Alicia only services the public at certain times because that's the times they can be MOST attentive to there food cooking process. THEY ARE MASTERS AT THERE CRAFT! I love getting there "Tacos De Birria" and there "Carne Asada Burro". I'll gladly pay the prices she markets for her food because this lady knows what she's doing in her kitchen. TWO THUMBS WAY UP. Drop by and try her food you won't regret it. (Update) The only negative thing about this is as you can see in the picture the burrito the cucumbers everything is great and food is top of the line but one guacamole container is simply not enough. They only give you one and it's half way full every time never fails. Gauge from the pictures yourself.
