The best gluten free bakery!!! I dream about their lemon cupcakes. I haven't found a cupcake or cookie here that I haven't loved, the texture and flavors are incredible. Great atmosphere, everyone is always happy and helpful! Would give a 10 star review if I could.

This bakery is completely out of this world. Just stuffed a peach cobbler cupcake down my gullet and probably forgot to chew. Every cupcake I've ever gotten from here has been amazing. Thanks Donna and team!!

I was really excited to try this place since the area where I’m from only has one GF bakery. I picked the cheese danish, chocolate chip cookie, cannoli cookie, and chocolate cupcake. The danish was very underwhelming and lacked flavor. I did not eat the cupcake but the person who did said it was dry and kinda bland. The cannoli cookie and chocolate cookie were decent but I would not come back again for them.

I was blown away by their baked goods and products. Their baked goods do not have the typical taste of gluten and dairy free. When I bit into the cookies, I thought I was eating cookies that I grew up on, that my mom baked. So delicious! The cupcakes are so moist and delicious! The only problem I have is that I have to drive almost 800 miles to get their delicious baked goods and products. They need to open a shop in South Charlotte, NC, near the SC border. I purchased gluten and dairy free cookies and cupcakes. Cookie mix, bread crumbs, Cinnamon & Sugar Crisps, 2 different kinds of Le Veneziane Pasta. Can’t wait to take them home and use them in my meal plans!

I ordered a 10 inch gluten-free double layered cake for a baby shower. The girl who worked with me to order the cake was very helpful, with great suggestions. It was a lemon cake with a raspberry center, cream cheese frosting. It was amazing. I can't say enough good things about the cake and the bakery. I want to thank Donna Marie and the staff for such good service and for a good quality cake.

That’s it! I’ve been twice now and the person working there does not change their gloves in between customers. They think that having gloves on means their hands are clean and they can touch my food items after touching the register where people use their fingers to checkout. I also witnessed the person touching someone’s credit card to help them pay and attempt to touch food for me after. I don’t think so. I don’t need their gluten free food that badly. There are other cleaner places to go.

I’ve been gluten free for over a decade and I love the trustworthiness of DM. The cupcakes are hands down some of the best in the city regardless of you being gluten free and I also tried the challah at my most recent visit and it is divine.

Great baked goods, and a selection of gluten free staples. My sister eats gluten-free and although I try to find new places to bring her when she visits, we always end up back here to grab a pound of pasta, a few cookies, or anything else we might need! The team is always very friendly.

Donna Marie's is my go to bakery for all of my Gluten free needs! Having celiacs disease makes it difficult for me to find places that don't handle gluten at all. So far I've loved everything! I highly recommend!!

DELICIOUS! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I was diagnosed with celiac disease about a year ago, so I’m always looking for a great place that have gluten-free items. I was in Rochester for a short visit as I live 1 1/2 hours away, and I simply did a search for gluten-free baked goods and found Donna Marie’s. When I arrived there, I was blown away to learn from the very sweet girl that works there that everything is gluten-free. Baked goods, breads, pasta, sauce, and jams and more. I bought lots of cookies and cupcakes, and everything is beyond delicious. I highly recommend Donna Marie’s gluten-free bakery to anyone and everyone even if you don’t have celiac. Living on a gluten-free diet is much healthier for people anyway , but you would never know these baked goods are gluten-free. I will definitely be back!!

My family absolutely loves this bakery! Ever since my son was diagnosed with celiac disease, this has been our go-to place for baked goodies. Everything is delicious, from the cakes, to the cookies, and their other special items. I am not gluten free, nor do I have diet restrictions. I love getting their cupcakes as a treat, just because i really enjoy them. Then, i will pick one up for my son too. It is a win-win for us! Mostly, we drop in for the occasional cinnamon roll, cupcake or seasonal cut-outs. We have ordered 3 cakes, thus far. They will make it exactly how you want it and the cakes are beautiful! We are NEVER disappointed! It can be a little pricey, but it comes with the territory of dietary restrictions. But, you get what you pay for and everything is top notch quality. I love having a place to go to with safe gluten free options and not having to worry about cross contamination. They put all their heart and love into everything. The staff at the bakery are all so friendly. There is ALWAYS a smiling, friendly face to greet you, when you walk through the door.

I can't possibly say enough good things about working with Donna Marie's. I've had many delicious baked goods from Donna Marie's, but we recently partnered with them for our wedding. I have several allergies, and the same goes for a number of guests we had at our reception, and it was a huge joy and relief to be able to provide cake that not only met my dietary needs and the restrictions of our guests, but also cake that was so freaking tasty! Everyone--restrictions or not--was raving about these cupcakes. They are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had, it blows my mind that they are free from allergens. We had several flavors, and Donna was incredibly thorough and patient with me going through all the finer details as we made our selections and coordinated the delivery with our venue. We also got to do a sampling to pick our flavors, which was a really fun part of the process. Donna, what you and your staff do is a serious service to the community, and I appreciate you all so much. Thank you for helping me make my dreams to have tons of delicious cake in honor of my wedding come true, even with all my restrictions!

This rating is NOT due to the quality of the bake goods. I have always enjoyed them. My disappointment is the HOURS of the bakery. I live over an hour away and I own a small business, but would definitely make the drive to pick bake goods up from this bakery. I am only off Sundays and Mondays so it makes it very difficult to be able to get to the bakery when they are open. At one point someone there told me I could place an order and pick it up on a Monday. This apparently is not true. I tried calling to place a potential $200 plus order and was told I could pick it up on Saturday or Tuesday during normal business hours. This really upsets me due to the fact I do have celiac’s disease and it is very difficult to find things that I can eat. I was willing to pay for it over the phone, and then all they would have to do was hand me the order. Soooo upsetting 😞

delicious! I was having a party for a friend and she is both dairy and gluten free. So she misses out on desserts a lot of the time at social functions. So I decided to get a cookie cake from Donna Marie. It was such a big hit! Everybody loved it, and the guest of honor was shocked at how yummy it was, and that it was both gluten and dairy free. really great quality stuff!

The best gluten free bakery out there. I was in the RCSG when you began and it was always a treat to get some cookies when you attended our meetings. I have gotten several cakes and they were awesome especially the Chocolate cake. I love the croutons also.

I have always bought all of my gluten free items from Donna Marie’s and everything is amazing! I just had my bridal shower and Donna and was able to create customized cookies from an inspo pic I had. Everyone raved about these desserts!! They were so addicting. Can’t even tell they are gluten free! Highly recommend Donna Marie’s!! She is even doing my wedding cake this summer! :)

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered an 8 inch chocolate cake for my daughter's RIT graduation. It turned out sooo cute and tasted amazing! Nobody could tell it was gluten and dairy free. The leftovers were still really good two days later. It didn't get super stale like a lot of GF baked goods do.

The bakes goods are delicious. My husband couldn't tell they were Gluten-free. Will make this a traditional stop when I'm in Rochester.

First time here after hearing how really good it was. The cinnamon rolls were so good! With the perfect amount of frosting too. Best Red velvet cupcakes ever, moist. The cookies were balanced soft and chewy. Definitely will be back!

We were looking for a quality gluten free cake at a reasonable price for our daughter’s 3rd birthday. After talking with the bakers they made wonderful suggestions! We were able to order 3 cookie cakes and at a great price! They were so helpful and honest which is hard to come by and so appreciated. We also took a sample platter home of the cookies and they were gone by the next day. Would recommend to anyone, not just gluten free individuals.

Amazing, high-quality baked goods and great service from a local small business. I always get cupcakes when I come here and have never been disappointed. They are always delicious and leave me wanting to eventually go back for more. Staff is kind, building is kept clean, and finding a parking spot was not an issue for me.

If you give one of just about anything to a friend or family member without telling them it's gluten free...they will never know. The treats are that indistinguishable from gluten-containing. We've tried this experiment on about a half dozen people over the years, esp during the holidays. They all thought the treats (brownies, cupcakes, cookies, truffles, cinnamon rolls, English muffins) we're just regular wheat-based treats. Wonderful gluten free bakery, friendly employees as well, fairly priced.

The honey multigrain bread is to DIE for. I regret only buying one loaf! It has more of crumbly, cakey texture but is still light and the crust gets delightfully crispy when toasted. Already plotting my next return to Henriette to stock up.

Couldn't get a good gluten free English muffin until I went here.

I am not gluten-intolerant while my SO is. This means I compromise and normally eat things I don't enjoy as much as their gluten containing counterparts. That changes with this establishment. We tried the lemon cookies, carrot cake cupcakes, red velvet cupcake, and molasses cookies. They are amazing. You could pull those cupcakes off as regular ole cupcakes and nobody would question it. Keep up the great work. We'll be coming back!

We purchased a birthday cake for my husband that was fabulous. We were sad when it was all finished. Just two weeks ago our kids were in town. Well all splurged on cupcakes and cookies. Absolutely fabulous.

So happy to have found this wonderful Bakery! Cannot add pictures yet because I ate it all! Maybe next time...no...go get your own! You won't regret it!

I asked for nutrional information on a cupcake and was told she had no idea. The English muffins were labeled and tasted pretty good but they weren't cut.

Have been going for years now, very happy with their baked goods. Have had others try their English muffins, brownies, cookies...no one can tell they're gluten free. Great to see them continuing to expand.

I do not have Celiac disease but heard about this Bakery and stopped in and WOW. From the cinnamon rolls to the cupcakes and cookies and the frozen pizza shells, these recipes are packed with flavor. The pizza Shell I took home, put on my toppings while it was frozen as instructed and popped it in the oven and it was amazing! There are two locations, one in Penfield and one in Henrietta. If you are close stop in and pick something to try. You will not regret it!

Just went today for the first time, and man have I been missing out. This is a Dedicated gluten free bakery with amazing treats! The chocolate raspberry filly cupcake was to die for! Best gluten free bakery around!

Everything is excellent so far. I tried a lot of things. Irish soda bread was perfect!

I am gluten sensitive being diagnosed with Diverticulitis and Ulcerative colitis, so that makes gluten Impossible for me to consume. I purchased a dozen of cupcakes for my 51st Birthday and I loved them my whole family couldn't believe they were gluten free this was my first purchase. The customer service was Wonderful I plan on returning to the bakery for more gluten free foods. Please give this bakery a try you will love it. Peace

I’m super picky about baked goods and struggled when I had to go gluten free. This place is a life saver!! The red velvet cupcakes are amazing!! The pizza is really good as well. Absolutely love that everything is gluten free so I don’t get tempted only to find out it’s not something I can’t eat. By far the best place I’ve found in Rochester and so happy!!

Was hoping to get some of the famous pumpkin bars to bring to a GF friend. Showed up during the hours posted on the website, but no one was there. Pretty disappointed. If your hours are irregular or if you're closed for the holidays, you should really post that on your website.

This is a gluten free bakery. There are so many items to choose from. We got some cookies and they were delicious. The cinnamon rolls were to die for wow! Everything was fresh. They have a freezer case with frozen pizza dough, assorted breads and pastries.

Fun selection of gf treats at reasonable prices. Cupcakes are around $2, cookies $1 and some change for small and $2 for specially decorated seasonal cookies. Cinnamon rolls, muffins, pies, cakes and made to order and separately priced. They also sell some imported Italian pasta.

We bought Cookies from Donna Marie's in Penfield, to take to a Wedding in PA. Our Son and His Wife attended the wedding, coming from Flagstaff Arizona. (They are strictly Gluten Free.) I have bought and shipped Gluten Free desserts to Flagstaff several times, and they were never eaten! These Gluten Free Cookies, we brought from Donna Marie's were not only All eaten, but My Son and his wife (and Husband!) were looking for more. Very Delicious!! "Thank You" Donna Marie's Bakery!

Gluten free cookies, cakes, and brownies. The cookies are excellent and fairly priced. I find the vanilla cupcakes a tad dry, but still good. Chocolate and red velvet cakes are very good. This is definitely the most reasonably priced gf baked goods in the area.

We are never disappointed! Each time I serve Donna Marie's at a party people always compliment the cake! We fight over the leftovers! So glad we found a GF bakery that consistently produces such an amazing product!

Great cake consistency, texture and flavor as well as a good old fashion traditional buttercream. Tastes just like high quality homemade treats without having to do the work. One note: the two times I’ve been there employees have been very nice, but service has been slow as on a weekday there was one employee taking phone orders and serving customers, and on a Saturday there were two employees, but a long line and it didn’t seem to be moving very efficiently.

The handmade decorated Holiday cookies are as beautiful as they are great tasting. Can't wait to go back to try more. Great homemade bread and bread crumbs. I could go every week love everything. My mother was diagnosed with celiac disease this year. The holidays are tough because she can't eat a lot of the foods she used to enjoy at parties. Donna Marie's has really helped us start to replace some of her old bakery-made favorites. The pumpkin pie and pumpkin roll were delicious at Thanksgiving.
