Saturday crew was absolutely amazing, very helpful and very sweet!

Seriously some of the best ice cream that I’ve ever had. Not only is the ice cream AMAZING but the portions are massive. With massive servings you would expect a half bill, but not here. Apparently inflation (price gouging) hasn’t made its way here yet. My kids always complain when I order a kid size but not here. The kids size is close to a medium at most places. I took my stepdaughter the last time and she me asked if she could get a medium to which the girl behind the counter pretty much said “no” Love Tofts on 250

I really hate those ice cream shops that give you the smallest scoops of ice cream, thank goodness this is not one of those places. With 44 flavors, everyone in your group is sure to find something they will enjoy. If we ever end up back in Sandusky for vacation, we will be coming back here.

Customer service not very good , no smiles just blah. Maybe because they were all teenagers

So good! The serving sizes are ridiculously large yet wonderful. We had the taco , large banana split and milkshake. Sooo good, sooo much left over.

The ice cream was very good, but the service not so much. My mother and I each ordered a cup hers was heaping and mine was a little spoonful in the bottom of the cup. When my mom asked if I could have just a bit more in my cup they charged extra. Tables were very dirty and sticky, but the girls didn't have time to clean them because they had to look at their phones. Probably won't go back because of the service and uncleanliness.

Delicious ice cream and a huge variety of flavors (but they don't have as many 1.5 qt options as the main Toft's. I stopped here after a trip to Cedar Point and got the ice cream waffle "taco" which was excellent.

Started to order a large, and was told thats 7 scoops. Got a small, only 3 scoops. I love ice cream and just barely finished it. Huge selection of great flavors. Should have took picture.

Super friendly staff who was quickly willing to look up allergy info, around 50 flavors - free tastings, delicious ice cream at reasonable prices. It was a fun space to hang out. (Maybe organize product sheets so its easier to find a flavor to check for allergy causing ingredients).

All of use *4* got the same exact thing and was over charged by $1,$2 and even $3 differently. They also hyped up there own waffle cones when they were like powdery. Worst experience I've have with a ice cream shop

Always a great place for a treat

Just stopped in before heading back to Columbus after the holidays. Got a 20oz Cave Man Chocolate milkshake and was immediately wowed! Love Toft’s ice cream and love having this spot right on the strip here in Sandusky.

Portions aren't as big as the mother ship store

The large banana split is hands down one of the top 3 I've ever had. 9 scoops of hand scoop ice cream. Each flavor was great. The strawberry they use on top has real sliced strawberries in it.

Ice cream was great I got a vanilla but it was rainbow which was pretty cool! Very fast service!

Way overpriced! Service took forever. Don’t understand why the tofts that is 20 minutes away is cheaper, service was faster, and more quantity. Ordered a float and it was only filled 1/3 of the way with soda and 2/3 of the way with ice cream.

The ice cream was delicious and the servers were very friendly and patient. The only thing my family and I wished they did have was mix-ins (i.e. brownies, cookies, peanut butter crunchies, etc.). The sizes were incredibly generous, too. Compared to Cold Stone Creamery (CSC) the sizes were very generous and appreciated! A small here would be somewhere between a medium or large at CSC.

So many flavors to choose from, don't limit yourself to just one. The different varieties are outstanding, try the Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle.

Great Ice cream with a broad selection and superb service

This Tofts location is GREAT. Nice place for a treat. Staff member Sarah was so kind going beyond her job duties making my brother and I fell welcome. The portions for the price was pleasant. We Love Sandusky Bay Pancake House and now we have another stop before heading home to Cleveland.

Love their portion sizes! If you’re gonna get dessert at Toft’s right after dinner, I highly suggest you get the kid size (I know it sounds weird, but it’s true). My mom and I went to Toft’s for dessert after eating dinner at Penn Station next door. We both ordered small ice cream in waffle cones. While the girl doing our order was scooping my mom’s order, my mom was shocked as the girl kept going at the scoops and boy, both ice cream cones were HUGE!!! Like, the small size was comparable size to a 2 dip ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins. Luckily the girl was nice enough to offer us cups and spoons on the side because we knew our ice cream would melt and drip and our cones would crack. Usually at other ice cream places, they don’t bother offering you a cup on the side, so you have to ask them yourself for one. Support your local businesses guys! Will come back:)

Great second location for the Toft’s brand. Very easy to find location and plenty of parking available. If you are an ice cream lover this is the place for you! They offer real ice cream in many different amazing flavors. They have a seating area for if you wish to stay and enjoy your treats, or you can just get yours to go. The employees are always friendly and helpful in choosing a flavor or what ingredients are in each one. The store is very clean and well organized. If you are in the area we highly recommend Toft’s at either location, kids just love being able to see and pick out the different flavors. The portion sizes are huge, so order a smaller size than what you want! They also offer “doggie size” for your fur babies to get a treat.

The ice creams were great and serving enormous- but Sara was so welcoming and enthusiastically warm - she made our night!

ordered a banana split they did not wear gloves scooping ice cream and then barehanded fingered the banana when putting it in the dish not very sanitary not very appealing probably will not go back. Very dirty

Ice cream tacos?! Tofts on 250 has them. The “shells” smell so good as they custom make them for your order! My chocolate mint cookie crumble ice cream was delish. Cute, clean interior. Plenty of seating, inside and out on the patio. Lots of parking in back — and don’t miss the giant Adirondack chair!

Good selection of Tofts ice cream flavors, they don't skimp on portions and staff is very friendly.
