What a cozy place tucked away in a beautiful part of PA. Our food was delicious with generous portions. Polite staff and very clean.

Super excited to visit here due to pics online of the prime rib specifically. Unfortunately that (and most of the other diverse options on the menu outside of wings, burgers and pizza) are only available on Firday and Saturday between 4 and 9pm. Ended up ordering burgers and fries.

Out in the middle of the woods bar and it's fantastic. Bar tenders are great. Food is amazing. If you go you must try the homemade pies!

As a rule reviews are all about the facts. Food, service, decor etc all rated with stars based on your visit. This place checks all the right boxes for those stars but also gets the intangible too. I immediately felt comfortable walking in here. The eclectic rural decor, awesome affordable food, friendly quick service and more all combined to make this a place I wish was way closer to home, but then I’d never want to leave. Definitely worth a stop, and I’ll be returning for more too.

Food was excellent , wait time quick. Wait staff was friendl 2nd time there I made reservation when we got there they had no idea who we were and somehow the reservation got pushed aside. When making the reservation I made it for 4 people , the person at double d's kept saying 2., when we got there they wanted to know if we made the reservation for 6..

This is a hidden gem! The food was amazing, the drinks cold, and with incredible friendly service. Highest recommendation!

First, I love the food here. Never a bum meal. I always get the garland style prime rib with Cajun. You can search far and wide and never find a better steak. This place should be on Diners, Drive In's and Dives! Local Bar/Restaurant in Garland, PA(NW PA Mountains). Almost looks like a biker bar from outside, but inside is a nice local dining room and seperate bar area. Also have outdoor seating in season. Food is excellent, very well prepared and we'll priced. The house specially if Prime Rib, which is the absolute best PR I have ever had, bar none! Get it "Garland Style" which means u order it cooked to your liking(as if Prime Rib should be anything but MedRare or Medium) and then the Garland Style is quickly brazed on the grille for a lil added flavor. It started terrible, took an hour to get food....but notice the stars are full that's because without complaining they gave us the drinks and a side for free along with an apology. Double D's has great food. The wings are excellent. The only thing that was terrible was the one waitress who wore glasses that were at the end of her nose the whole time. She seemed nice at first but when one of my family members mentioned that their food was still not out after already reminding her and it had literally been 10 minutes. The young lady gave our family member a terrible attitude and back talked my family member. She also forgot silverware everyone and also another table she was suppose to be taking care of had to get up to get their own silverware. You might as well be able to walk into that kitchen and dish up your own plate. Management did not even seem concerned like it was the norm. Another waitress had to take over because the other one was not getting her job done. Everyone has a bad day, but you need to put on that happy face and do your job while you are there. Their wing night(Wed.)is definitely the place to go if you want to gorge on them....like me. lol My only complaint, and it's minor, is the usual lack of hot as in spicy Buffalo style.
