TL;DR - Great food/service and high prices. I'll start off with the good, and there's a lot of that - Best brisket sandwich I've ever had. Had the one with fried jalapeños on it. Was seriously good. Hand breaded jalapeños and perfectly cooked brisket and bacon on an excellent roll. 3 homemade and really tasty BBQ sauces to top it off with. Best hush puppies I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Good fries, good catfish, good sausage. Excellent service. Young lady running the front was a real pleasure to deal with. Some of the best service we've gotten anywhere in a long time. The bad - PRICES. $7 for 7 hushpuppies. Dollar each. $18 for a brisket sandwich, no side, not even a pickle. $18 for BBQ platter that came with 2 thin, dry slices of turkey that couldn't have weighed more than 2oz. 3 small chunks of sausage. And $1 upcharged catfish filet. $18 for a single deli sandwich, no side, no pickle. I enjoy good food all over the state of Florida and have absolutely no problem spending money for it. That said, while the food was good, I did not feel like I got my money's worth. 70 dollar meal for 2 adults and 2 kids, we left hungry.

Disappointed they only cater now and he answered like I had called a personal phone.

Got there close to closing, so did take-out. Food was very good.

Had the pastrami and corned beef sandwich which was enough for two people- huge! Grab a cookie and some chips and you're all set.

Great selection & our sandwich was delicious. They give you a lot on each sandwich. Great staff & fast service.

The food is amazing and perfect for me and my wife, she doesn't like barbecue as much as me so this is an awesome compromise. The sandwiches are ridiculous big and delicious.

I liked them MUCH better when they were actually a restaurant. Now they changed the business model and I am not a fan. Food is pretty good but crazy expensive

First time visitor. Went strictly to try their Reuben sandwich. Ordered a half sandwich with their handcut fries. Fries were a touch salty. Sandwich was flavorful and a hearty portion for half. It cost $14. The cost was a bit high to me. May have been more of a value if included a drink for the price. Will return but perhaps not as frequently as a may want.

Nice little hidden gem in Rockledge. Great smoked meats and sides, the best Reubens around! Unfortunately, they were out of burnt ends 😕

pulled pork sandwiche was awesome, the Mac& Cheese not so much my wife said her sub sandwiche was ok. should have went to Jimmy John's for half the price.

The best sandwich in Brevard county no lie! The corn beef oh my! The homemade pickles devine! Gotta try the Fried cornbread.. your welcome!🤣 Lol.... It's absolutely yummy!

Smells horrible inside. We didn't even order. Couldn't deal with the smell. Thought about eating outside...but the places smells so bad that we didn't want our food made inside either lol.

The meats are all such good quality and so tasty. The level of smoke is perfect.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE IN FLORIDA! If you are anywhere close this is a MUST GO!!!

Great sandwiches. The “hot and heavy” (shown in picture) was awesome! The brisket was very flavorful and the fried jalapeños added a nice heat and crunch. I’ve been here a couple times and tried to pastrami. Everything is excellent!

Food was good a bit pricey though for a sandwich with no sides

Best French Dip I've ever tasted! Generous meat, excellent roll and au jus. But the fries were very blah and overcooked, which took away from the perfection of the sandwich. Bummer.

BORN & RAISED IN NEW YORK SO GENERALLY THERES A DELI ON EVERY OTHER CORNER. WE MOVED TO FLORIDA IN 2004...NO "REAL" NEW YORK DELIS TO REALLY ENJOY. TODAY WENT AND WE HAS THE BEST PASTRIME & CORNED BEEF SANDWICH ON TOASTED RYE BREAD &HOT MUSTARD! LETS NOT FORGET THE WAITRESS! SHE WAS ON THE SPOT! GOT US REFILL OF DRINK WITHOUT US ASKING. EVEN HAD A GREAT COVERSATION WITH HER BUT 4GOT HER NAME. SHE HAD LONG DARK HAIR THANK YOU. FELT LIKE HOME!!

We got the large turkey meal for Thanksgiving. It was huge, delicious and made dinner so much easier. I will definitely used them again.

Breakfast sandwiches were spot on. Closest thing I have had to a NY hard roll egg sandwich since I've been in Florida. Brought out some pickles to try while we waited and they were delicious. Keep it up! I've always said this area needed a real NY deli! Can't wait to try the lunch!

Pulled pork and brisket were great. Coleslaw was very good. Too much dill in potato salad for my taste.

Portion sizes are quite generous! The owners are awesome people. Everything I have had so far is amazing and I'm looking forward to trying more of it!

Today met up with a few friends who have been raving about this place. Adorable little deli with fun decor and great meal choices. Everyone had something different, from a curry chicken sub to smoked chicken wings and a classic corned beef Ruben sandwich. We couldn't decide whose smelled better yet we all agreed everything had amazing flavour! I had the corned beef ruben and the presentation was so nice yet my friend laughed at me because I was deciding what would be the best way to eat it without wearing it, don't worry it was eaten with gratefulness!! Give Double D's a Try and don't forget the pickle!

Pastrami brisket is delicious but extremely pricey...not worth $36.00 for a pound

I enjoyed my Italian sandwich, 🥪 but it was a lot of bread at least for me. Plenty of meat and the subs are 10" and run from $12-$15 dollars. They also offer ribs and salads and they even have a little store inside. Beer is also an option on tap and in bottles. They only had two people working when I was there at lunch time and the cashier/sandwich maker I guess was very nice. I will go back and maybe try the wings.

The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful, her first day. If she didn't know the answer she found someone who did. Top marks! The store was nicely laid out, great cheese selection! I felt the prices were high for what was offered. The brisket sandwich was very dry. I realize they are trying their best, being short staffed, but still disappointed.

I love the reinvention of the restaurant. The vibe is comfy-deli, and the food is delish! I had the Rachel (a Rueben with turkey instead of pastrami) and could barely get my mouth around it, but that didn't stop me. The kraut and Thousand Island dressing are house-made. We'll be back to try the other sandwiches...and for their famous kielbasa.

Corned beef and pastrami still not like NY. But better than Publix. Sandwiches are packed and price reflects that. Not cheap at all. Smoke turkey very good, but again really pricey for sandwich.

Double D's new deli menu is awesome! They still have some of their BBQ staples, but I loved the pastrami sandwiches, and their pickles are INCREDIBLE! You need to try the kapusniak too.... Incredible service and friendly staff. Thanks Double D's!

We had just discovered this amazing bbq place at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately they arent a bbq joint any more. No more burnt ends or loaded fries. I like the sandwiches but I was sorely saddened to see the drastic change in menu. I'm sure they had their reasons.

Update! My husband and I used to be regulars! The past 3 times we went were incredibly disappointing! Nothing tasted the same and not for the better. Prices have gone up. Very sad because this place turned me on to BBQ Best bbq that we've ever had. Highly recommend. Give their potato salad a try!

The food was a little overpriced for what you get and only okay. My husband ordered the pastrami sandwich, which only came with a pickle. It was super salty and dry. I got the brisket, which was also very dry and the bread was only okay. We both had to use a lot of sauce to make it work. The macaroni and cheese is garlicky, but I think it is garlic powder, not actual garlic and I don't know that it improved the flavor. The best deals were the combos. We had also wanted to try the corn bites, but they got left off our order. My husband was craving deli and was disappointed. If we're getting deli or bbq, we'll be going elsewhere.

The food tasted great. I am visiting my son he purchased the ribs and brisket along with macaroni and cheese plus a pie. Wonderful meal very filling

Double D's is where it's at for the best barbecue south of the Florida-Georgia line. Dave and his small staff really take care of you. They treat you like you are best friends and make you feel like coming back for more. The food plays a big role in that also.

Got some breakfast sandwiches....NY style.....excellent sandwich...you.ll be sorry if you dont give it a try...

Good meat and corn bread. Sides left something to be desired. I think the green beans had too much garlic and spices added. I'd go back to try more. Great service!

We absolutely fell in love!! THIS IS OUR NEW “GO TO” COMFORT FOOD SPOT!!! They have a new menu and we love the owners .. we were treated like part of their family and friends.. I had the Corn Beef Pastrami OMG the best I’ve had in a long long time and it’s one of my favs to order ..Kevin my hubby had the 2 Combo Meal with pullled chicken and pulled pork and Mac n Cheese he enjoyed every bite and liked the bbq sauces ..it was the best food we’ve had in a while as far dining experiences go .. to top it all off the owners wife shared a piece of her hand made from scratch PECAN PIE her great grandmother’s recipe.. it was AMAZING!! I know where I’m going any time I have a sweet tooth lol. There Deli selections are great and the staff is awesome all of them very kind and attentive... they got slammed with orders while we were there and they all worked together with smiles on their faces talking to each customer like a friend .. the vibe is fantastic.. I highly recommend DOUBLE D’S BBQ!! Tell Dave and his beautiful family we said “HI”!! 😃

Went here for a breakfast sandwich before work. I got the pork roll sandwich on sourdough bread and I don’t think it could of been any better. Haven’t had anything similar in the area that I’ve seen. Highly recommend, great food and customer service. I even went back for their BBQ for lunch and was not disappointed. I think I found a new favorite place to eat.

So this place just released a breakfast menu and it is fantastic!

They're open for breakfast now! So excited to see a jalapeno cheddar bun on the menu. We went for a bacon egg bagel sandwich this time, but super excited to try the deli sandwiches next time 👍

OMG!! what a gem this place is , it was another Friday night trip and the wife picked me up at the football field . We drove a short way to this restaurant and its hidden in a small strip mall. The locals know all about it so if you can go early . Worth it , the food was outstanding the prices right and the company amazing

The BBQ was amazing! They also have the best green beans I have ever had. I drove from Satellite beach and it was worth the drive.

Probably the best burger in Central Florida, never mind Brevard County. Can’t wait to come here for some football! All of the sides we had were excellent too. 10 out of 10 out of 10 would recommend!

They were great when they were open but for some reason there has been no information since the move.. I am very sad from this I think that the information online needs to be updated since it says they are open... But they are not.

We usually eat at a competing BBQ place but decided to try Double D. Best BBQ I have had in a long time. The sauces are great. You have to try the BBQ egg rolls. Mac n cheese spot on. And the BBQ sandwiches are mouthwatering! Yummy! Try them out, you won’t be disappointed! 5 stars!!!

Double D's is one of the best places in town. Not only do we frequent here for lunch/dinner but we worked with them to cater our Rehearsal Dinner! Wendy was absolutely fantastic and everyone loved the food!!! We had plenty of it and it was very reasonably priced!! These guys don't skimp on the quality of food and make sure to give you the best experience around!

Service wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Waitresses were kind and not rude or pushy. The food was really good, and the amount of meat that was slapped on my burger made it well more than worth it! The inside design is kinda "off" but the experience itself was very rewarding. I'd definitely eat here again if given the chance
