The iced coffee was so watered down I couldn't taste it. The donuts are just okay. They sell sweet as a flavor. It's hard to taste anything, they are so sweet. The donuts fryer and dough hopper looked absolutely disgusting. The entire place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Bathrooms were gross.

The hot cake donut freshly made is soooooo good, and the icing is phenomenal (perfect sweetness level). Surprisingly cheap too. Staff are friendly

I’ve previously been to this location and the service was superb. This time around, the service was slow. The staff was extremely rude because of a language barrier. I repeated my order to her three times. She grew frustrated because she had to change the order numerous time due to her lack of understanding. We waited approximately 15 - 20 minutes for our order. She still fixed a portion of the order wrong. When I called her over and attempted to fix it, she snatched the drink off the counter and proceeded to speak to her coworker in her native tongue. My milkshake looked like it had been sitting. I asked to speak to the manager. She calls her on speaker and when I’m speaking with the mama, she and her coworker are laughing in the background. The manager states that they are new…but new has nothing to do with maintaining professionalism. If your employee is going to have half her face pierced, she could at least not act unprofessionally since you already look it. Can’t have pierced faces and act like you have no sense simultaneously. I will never spend my money at this location again. Worst experience I’ve ever had. The manager is better off running it by herself. Never again will they get my money. Laskin Rd location on the oceanfront.

Honestly, the best donuts I’ve ever had. Freshly made to order, and such a good menu selection to choose from. Got one dozen, and would suggest trying even more than those. The Shark Bite, Smores, and Chocolate Covered strawberry are some of my favorite ones I’ve tried. Definitely have to go back and try again!

Went to Duck Donuts and they said their hours of operation were open until 7 pm yet they locked the doors and the girls in their were messing around and wouldn’t let us in and it was only 430 pm

Duck donuts makes hot, fresh donuts made to order. The donuts were tasty and they had a good variety. However, the staff was not friendly. They tried to make me tip instead of showing me how to bypass the tip on the machine.

Ordered delivery, so didn’t have much exposure to the service or location (the dasher that brought us our food was nice!), but the donuts were amazing! When we got them they were still warm and soft, with some unique flavor combinations. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying the family enjoyed the donuts. What we didn't enjoy, however, was the extraordinary wait time. I placed an online order hoping to save some time. Arrived at the pickup time and proceeded to wait another 25 minutes before our donuts were made. Ordered at 9am....left with 6 donuts at 9:50. Didn't even order anything specific. Just 6 random donuts. I have some patience for a rush on orders, but I watched 5 different groups walk in, place an order, and have it fulfilled while I continued to wait. Unacceptable.

Got the Ollie Duck Donut Hat and a bunch of good smelling, great tasting donuts. I was told I am the first person to get the hat.

Our friend brings Duck donuts when she comes over. Doughnuts are among the best, but don't expect to love the bacon donuts if you have a conservative palate.

You're not going to Duck Donuts for the atmosphere, you're going for the donuts. They are really decadent and delicious. Service folks are nice and quick but not the friendliest, coven the brisk business it is understandable as they don't have the time to be. Again, you're there for the round pieces of deliciousness. They make them for you to order and right then and there. Warm, soft, and sweet just as they should be. Healthy for you...at least healthy for your soul? Parking is really nonexistent except street parking.

Donuts were ok for the price, the main issue we had was extremely poor service. We showed up when they opened, immediately disgruntly greeted with "if you guys want donuts the fryers just came on and they take about 20 minutes to warm up." We had nothing to do so we ordered and went for a walk. We came back and there was a family ordering and after they ordered they went to the end of the counter that they assemble and serve from. The family waiting put their children on the counter and let them WALK on the counter. We got our donuts and left, they were slightly doughy and to say they had toppings was being generous. Would definitely recommend going to dunkin or a grocery store instead.

Stopped in to buy 2 dozen doughnuts for staff in my building. Not crowded, fast service, friendly staff. I ordered the Duck Dozen and Breakfast Favorites combinations. The staff in my building loved them.

We chose Duck Donuts for our special day/night. Our wedding was this past Saturday and in lieu of a cutting cake or wedding cake, we chose to go with Duck Donuts instead! Duck donuts has always been delicious in the past, so we knew we would be in good hands. We actually created our own donut board and display for our wedding, but they also offered that display which I thought was nice. I got in contact with Richard, and he helped me through the catering process with ease. Even though we scheduled an order and drop off delivery on Columbus day weekend, Richard and his staff made it happen! The Duck Donuts were a huge hit and our guests loved them all! We did 8 dozen of the Duck Dozen and they were delicious! Thanks Richard and Duck Donuts staff for making our day extra special!

We wait every year on vacation to get Duck Donuts and we did it today and wow has their quality gone down. Example order Oreo topping, and it’s basically just cookie dust (and very little of it). And overall nothing special like in the past and certainly not worth the money. Very very disappointing!

Update your hours if you aren't going to be open on your posted hours on Google. It said you were open until 6p but nobody was there at 5p. Wasted our time driving out here

I was brought here by a friend to try the donuts. There are advertisements for frappe and coffee. I asked if I could have a latte (first time here ;) The guy who took the order stated in an unfriendly and a bit louder than comfortable tone:”NO! We don’t do that! You can go to Starbucks next door…” If it would have not been for my friend I would have left just because of being treated unfriendly. Also, if he would have offered a coffee with a bit more milk I would have taken that. Donuts were good.

Not consistent with operating hours. They close the store as they wish. I even called ahead of going there, was given a range of hours, and they stilled closed earlier than what they’d mentioned. Horrible way to run a business.

This location was closed 30 minutes earlier than listed on website. No sign outdoors. Just closed. We walked several blocks and ended up having to turn back around and we weren’t the only ones.

Decent price for the quality of the donuts. Friendly service at the counter, is a plus. Bathrooms not available at the time and seating is limited. So a bit of a bummer. But that should not deter you from stopping by. Go for it if you have a sweet tooth!!!

Wanted to surprise my kids with donuts we can't typically get at home, so I got up early and ran to the store. Google says they open at 7, employees were knocking on the door to get in at 6:58 because the key holder wasn't there yet. 7:02 all of the employees go in, but lock the door. 7:15, a very young employee was sent to tell all the waiting customers that the fryer was "malfunctioning" and they MIGHT be open by 7:35. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere, I couldn't wait around for "might". It's unfortunate because I really wanted to surprise my kids on vacation.

The donuts of course are always great. Customer service from the male making specialty drinks and sandwich's was horrible. We had been waiting over 20 minutes for our specially made sandwiches and coffee and when I politely asked where I was suppose to pick up the orders, he threw his shoulders up and told me to wait and give him a minute. All I did was ask where to pick them up and he gave a snarky attitude. Its service like this that drives customers to go to other locations.

Food was very good, but that's where it ended. We waited for about 30 minutes to finally get everything, after they forgot about our drinks. Once we got to our house, we realized that they also messed up our sandwiches.

They stole my money! I ordered a while ago online. I was ordering for an event at my job and all I needed was a couple dozen to take with me. The order was placed and it gave me a time it would be ready however it was after when I needed to be at the event so I called and asked for them to cancel it. The girl that picked up said it didn’t go through on her side (I had placed it like 30 seconds before the call) so she said she’d cancel it when it popped in. I never got my refund and so I contacted customer support and they never got back to me. The order was over 30$ and they never refunded me! How are you going to tell a customer it will be refunded then no refund it and not answer the support tickets submitted?

Walked 1.7 miles for it to be closed when it's supposed to be open. Really? Taking it off my list of places to ever stop.

If you are going to Duck Donuts, do NOT go to this location. An employee was very rude to my husband and daughter when my husband asked if they could be careful with our order because my daughter has a peanut allergy. I then called to file a complaint with the manager only to find out it was the manager that was rude to my husband and daughter. Choose a location that appreciates their customers!

The donuts are amazing hands down, but this post goes beyond that.I went in with my family on Saturday and the cashier was like yea what u want ,then took 15 mintues for them to make them as the two employees wanted to argue and in front of kids this was the remark brah before I go behind u all day I will shut this place down ya hear me ,like how unprofessional, and not ok to do in front of kids they were like mom are they going to fight are we getting are donuts as they had a line out the door .I understand people are short handed all jobs are im ok with a wait time but not employees fi ghting arguing and talking mess in front of kids .

😩😞😲😰 DUCK DONUT DEVASTATION as I rushed on my President's Day weekend Sunday to get a FRESH, HOT custom donut before the "NOON" closing. The sweet aroma enveloped the corner of 31st & Pacific ......AND BAM!!! Door locked at 11:50am with inside customers giggling as I pulled the door handle with exuberant anticipation only to stain my shoulder! TEARS!!! 😱😞

I’m not a big donut guy but these were amazing. So fresh you see them come right out the oven. Each donut is prepared fresh for each customer. Best tasting donut I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Diabetics avoid this place! Went for the first time this morning. Got 2 donuts and won't eat again until dinner! I got the maple bacon and it was good but the maple overwhelmed the bacon. Maybe less maple? I also got the lemon glazed with raspberry drizzle. I wasn't going to eat it buuuut then I did! Good stuff! Excellent for boardwalk walking fuel.

Duck donuts is just a fun concept; we enjoy deciding on our own little donut creations and taking them down to the beach to eat. Give the location of this Duck Donuts, there is generally a long line, but the staff does their best to keep it moving. I recommend stopping by for a fun little family treat.

Loved the donuts. My children said they were the best donuts they ever tasted. Just be prepared to wait a long time unless you are an early bird. They only accept credit or debit cards which I found strange.

The donuts were so very yummy…5 STARS! Order online through Uber Eats to avoid the long line. Even though drinks are able to be ordered, the only items you can actually get is hot coffee or Pepsi products. The team was unable to credit the iced tea I ordered. Staff are young, learning, and have a high productivity demand. Patience is a must!!

I was so excited to visit Duck Donuts 🥳! My anticipation was met with great reward! The donuts were hands 🙌🏽 down the best donuts I have ever had (move over Krispy Kreme)! And an extremely kind manager name Josh Perez turned my experience at the Virginia Beach establishment into a Memorable experience for both me and my daughter. Something I’m really proud she was able to witness. Thank you Mr. Perez for your kindness and prompt response to service. Calling all donut enthusiasts! This place was great. They have some great options and creative ones too. We decided to grab a bunch and just try them. The atmosphere was cozy and fun too. Everyone coming in and out seemed to have a smile on their faces; workers included. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the VA Beach area.

We went on a Friday night and unknowingly walked in 10 minutes before closing. We were told to leave because they were getting ready to close. We came back the next day (earlier this time) and the donuts were amazing, but the cashier was less than enthusiastic about his job. I know that the staff is young, but they might need more and/or better training.

These are cake donuts made fresh and quicky while you wait. So many varieties to choose from. For example, smores, French toast(my favorite), maple bacon. Maple chocolate bacon, chocolate, chocolate sprinkles, peanut butter chocolate, chocolate with peanuts,....and more. You just have to try them all. They are so delicious! Very reasonably priced too!

We wanted a different option for breakfast instead of one of the many pancake houses we had tried. Duck donuts was awesome. We purchased a dozen donuts for $15 and ordered 7 different topping. They are made to order fresh for you as you wait! They are warm with just a bit of a crunch. Great taste and flavor. In the picture my family got to them before I could take a picture of a full box. I will say parking is not easy because they are located on a cross street between pacific and Atlantic, so walking or having someone drop you off and circle the block like we did may be best. The wait is 10 minutes. I highly recommend.

These donuts are so good! They have so many different options that you are basically guaranteed to be able to find something that you like. Every donut we had was awesome and we brought some home for my mom.

Oh my is all I have to say. My first time eating these luscious, warm , fresh doughnuts. The gentleman making the doughnuts had the area clean and was friendly. I can not wait to visit VA Beach again.
