It was my first time in DW and Winna (one of the owners) came up and provided us some insight on the menu, informed us on the specials of the day and how to order on the kiosk. She was extremely helpful, friendly and very easy to talk to. The remainder of the staff was also very friendly and came to check on us multiple times while waiting for food and after food delivered to our table. The place was very organized, clean and you could tell the owners take pride in their work. All 3 of us in my group enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back again. The seating area is on the smaller side but it clears out pretty quickly as long as you are patient enough to wait a few minutes or there is a to go option.

Got breakfast and a salad to go. Service is fast and so friendly! Food is always hot and plentiful!! David and Winna are wonderful people!! Always worth going there!

Went to DW Grill & Catering for the first time in 6 or 7 years. Weird how fast time goes it didn’t seem that long ago. Lots of changes since my last visit, like the innovative touch screen ordering stations so you don’t feel like you’re holding up the show with your (or my) ordering indecisiveness, and now a really expanded menu. Decided on the sunshine burger, with the bacon cheesy ranch curly fries and a cherry Pepsi. The fries were so good. Fight me, but curly fries are the supreme form of fries. The seasoning was perfect and the cheesy ranch bacon combination was a solid mashup of some of the best flavors. Those got eaten immediately. The burger was pretty tasty, had a nice char on the outside and the bun was toasted, so a great crunch mouthfeel but too much not like im eating a cracker. Was cooked medium-well but was hoping for pinkish center (I’ll take the risks for flavor!) which was an option on the mobile ordering screen. Burger was great overall though, very happy with it. Only real bug for me was I chose a special burger and I kinda assumed the tablet would auto populate what one would expect on the burger from the picture, and then you work off that, but I had to manually choose every single item including the egg and how to cook it (which made me feel like I just designed my own burger versus ordering the one on the menu) and I just could not figure out on the fly how to get pickles with the lettuce and tomato 🥲 next time. DW I feel is a somewhat hidden gem of Fairbanks and I highly recommend it. The owners are amazing people, super friendly family atmosphere, and they’ve done a great job with the small business. Even with the time that has passed I can still highly recommend eating here and I will be back, this time with my family. 👍🏻

Quaint, eclectic local eatery. Sooooo good! SUPER SUPER customer service. They took pics of our whole party and posted them immediately on FB. I had the Cesar Shrimp Wrap and it was outstanding. The curly fries were a bit crunchy and chewy, that's why I have them 4 stars for the food. Prices are right in line with what you pay at any take out spot in the last frontier (which was culture shock for this girl from Raleigh, NC). 🤣 Don't miss this spot if you're in Fairbanks, AK.

Staff and owners seem happy and focused. A great place to eat some great food, with a welcoming atmosphere. Will absolutely be back again, we wish we had been in to eat sooner!

My only regret is that I didn’t visit sooner. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Wonderful atmosphere and sweet host. Will definitely be back!

David and Winnie are amazing and they make food that is on pair with who they are.

We went in for a quick bite and the guy that was on the floor at the time was really pleasant and we were taken aback by his customer service as it is rare to see someone so good at this job. He is probably what attracts customers here. Lady at the counter was very bossy towards the employees and I am not particularly very fond of people who are bossy to the coworkers as it makes the atmosphere very uncomfortable.However she seemed also very irritated which happens- everyone has days like that. Food was decent but neither my husband or I were very impressed. We might come back to see if attitudes have changed but it won't be on our priority list.

They are exceptionally friendly, and man do they have an AMAZING salad. Pretty much everything on the menu looks delicious buuuuut I’m limited to what I can and can’t eat.

Winna, the owner was wonderful! She gave us a tour of her shop while we waited for our sandwiches. The place is full of cool local artists and the customer service is standout amazing. We got a breakfast sandwich and lunch panini, and both were delicious. What an awesome find in Fairbanks! We’ll definitely be back.

Food was great. No rtic entry. Cold blast every time the door opens. Very busy. No menus, have to use a kiosk. Be prepared to be asked a bunch of questions before you have a chance to think. If I go back it won’t be for lunch.

Amazing place I eat once or twice a week at. The online ordering system is easy to use. The food is always good and exactly what I ordered. The owners and staff are great at customer service. A staple of how a business should be ran.

The best joint for delicious food cooked perfectly that comes out fast and HOT. Dave & Winna know what they’re doing and they have turned this south side spot into our favorite drop in place 🔥 Go to breakfast- country burrito, or biscuits and gravy! Go to lunch- any wrap or burger always delicious Cat fish special is FUEGO. tater tots are always crispy and perfectly salted. Everything is fresh and delicious! Go get you some DW!

Busy. Pretty obvious why. Good food and the owners of the business are interacting with customers. Just listening to the background chatter it's pretty obvious they take the time to get to know people and that there are regulars who keep going back. Food was great. Place is a bit small so if you don't handle crowds well consider ordering pickup vs eating inside.

We've always ordered Togo and this time we ate in. There are small tables to sit so it's not necessarily a eat in location unless you get lucky. But regardless, the food is fantastic and the people are so friendly. Definitely a must while in Fairbanks.

As you can tell DW Grill is a 5-Star business and the owners (David and Winna) are superstars. We hired DW to cater a lunch for our annual sales event and they take the guess work and frustration out of feeding dozens of people. They set an awesome standard of excellence and build strong and lasting relationships! Love this couple and what they provide for our community!! Sorry no pics, but the spread was outstanding and fed 30++ easily! Thank you DW Grill!

This is hands-down the best lunch spot in town! Their breakfasts are also amazing. The staff is very friendly and does an excellent job remembering all of their regular customers' names/faces. Great food and great service!

Walking in the door we were greeted warmly. She explained how to order since it was our first time here. Great coffee, food was piping hot and delicious! If we ever come back to Alaska we’d come here for breakfast.

This place is must, it was my first there and the vibes and food were both amazing. The owner was extremely nice and helpful from recommendations on the menu to recommendations on other places to check out in the Fair Banks area. She even pulled out a note book full of places she recommended us to check out. Overall DW's is a place you must check out!!!

Nice homey spot with great food!

My wife has food allergies and we were visiting the Fairbanks area. The business was very accommodating, helpful in preparing our food, and even gave recommendations of places to see during our stay in town! The food was delicious and the service was amazing!!! I highly recommend this place.

Man oh man do they know what they're doing, every time I go in its a fantastic experience they learned my name and always have delicious food.

This place rocks for sure! Quick and very helpful service. They make you feel like family right when you enter. Their food is great and they work very hard with fast service. Their curly fires are the best, along with awesome burgers and melts.

The place was great! The staff was friendly and for being Fairbanks food the price was cutting deep in your wallet. The restaurant was extremely clean which I love nothing better then to enjoy a Hot meal in a clean environment. If your looking for a good place to grab lunch try it out at least once I bet you will be back.

Fast and friendly. I don't really like fumbling with there computer to place my order. The Italian sandwich was a let down. Lots of lettuce with 1 slice of ham 1slice of turkey and a couple pieces of pepperoni

Phenomenal breakfast absolutely hit it out of the park best country Benedict I’ve ever had hands down and I wanted a side of reindeer sausage but they offered an Alaskan made hotlink and it was as delicious as they promised
