I’ll preface by saying I have a severe gluten intolerance, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. They cleaned all the equipment and changed their gloves before making my order, which put my mind at ease. I ordered the savory classic crepe with buckwheat, I believe someone else posted a photo of it already. Wow, it tastes amazing and fills you up but not in a bad way. The fresh salad is a breakfast addition as well. The coffee, lattes and cappuccinos are also very well made. The atmosphere is very relaxing, nice decor, and the shop is well kept and clean. Definitely give Mel’s a try when you’re in the Burgh!

Beautiful cafe & delicious food.

Hidden gem, right off of Cochran road. Had a wonderful breakfast, crepes and baked goods were absolutely fantastic! Watched table next to us get a panini, so I'll be back to try myself. Got the crepe trio and it was perfect.

First visit on Sunday. So, so good. Will happily be back to try more treats!

This place is such a hidden gem! All the food and coffee is amazing and the staff is so friendly and kind! I recommend for breakfast or brunch if you are in the area. So glad this is down the street from my house 🤗

Nice petite place. Food was good, coffee flight was excellent (highly recommend), and service was great. They were very helpful for my non local self. I'd just ran the half marathon day before so bought a lot: chocolate chip & snicker doodle cookies, a blueberry/raspberry muffin, the coffee flight, and a crepe with an egg added, all delicious; all together with tip was $45. That's an awesome deal. Only downside, parking. There is no lot, only street parking. I was there on a Monday around 9ish so parking was easy at the time. *Updated to fix some typos.

Came here for the first time with my husband and 2 kids, ordered the crepe flight for $15 thinking they’d be 3 regular sized crepes I could share with my kids. Was told that it would be about 30 minutes for the food to come out which was fine. The restaurant was nice and not too busy, however after waiting an hour for our food we received 3 of the tiniest crepes I’ve ever seen. We were really surprised because everybody else’s crepes were huge. I gave them to my kids to share and left as hungry as I was when I came in. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the blueberry muffin we got was good. Really disappointing and we won’t be back.

I was a little disappointed they didn’t have brewed decaf coffee. Although I did like the fact that they told me so before substituting something else.

Delicious! Cute! Unique flavors and familiar favorites. There is something here for most people. I’m excited to come back and try their gluten free items with my gluten free fiancé

The sandwiches and coffee were both absolutely incredible, and the dining area is super cute and comfy.

Small cafe with crepes, coffee, and baked goods. My wife wants to go just about every Saturday. I've tried about half the menu at this point. I've settled into the croque monsieur and pistachio latte as my usual.

Crepes and latte was very delicious and it's a very cozy restaurant. Definitely be back again.

Consistently great food and coffee. Good place to meet friends or bring visitors. Parking on the next street over (three hour limit vs 30-60 minutes) is the way to go.

Coffee and food was good… we went on a Monday morning at 1030am, had one couple in front of us m, and it took 45 minutes to get our crepes. I’d only come if you have an hour or more to wait… personally, won’t be coming back

First time visit and loved it. Outside and inside eating spaces were awesome and cozy. Loved my savory crepe- will be doing a repeat visit soon. Highly recommend.

Simply delicious food and kind service. I got the bergere, with goat cheese, greens, honey, and turkey. They also recommended a white pear tea, which was perfect with the food. Parking is only available on the street.

Cute cafe in Mt Lebanon. It’s actually bigger than it looks from the outside, we went on a Sunday and were able to find seating with no problems. Service was fine, our coffees and crepes were ok. I did wish there was more Nutella in mine. If you like crepes then you should definitely try this place.

Yum! This place can get busy on weekend mornings so be prepared for a short wait to get food. That said, this place is so cute and has lots of options between drinks, crepes, and even sandwiches. We got the peanut butter and jelly crepe which was soooo good. Definitely recommend for a brunch/coffee spot!

Cute place to get a nice breakfast! The coffee was really good and we were really impressed with the flavor of the chai. The crepes were very good as well. It is hard to find parking and seating is limited and can be a bit of a wait but absolutely check out Mels! It's worth it!

Quiet, small, and reasonably priced. I went on a Friday afternoon and there were more than enough seats available. I got a Nutella crepe and it was very good.

Food is really good (though it takes a while to receive), but I really wish they had a diaper changing station in the bathroom.

We're not prepared for the BYO jazz event. Gave us plastic cups for our wine. Acoustics were not very good.

I didn't have anything to eat. My friend had a crepe and said it was very good. There was a little trouble with getting me just a regular cup of coffee, which is why a 4. Once I received it though , was good and a huge cup!

Ok... where to begin... close your eyes and imagine eating a tender crepe amoungst the shadow of Eifel Tower. Its that good. The two women working this cafe were total studs in the kitchen a choreography of movement and expertise. Just fantastic from coffee to crepe. Must go there. Absolutely must go there.

I love this place, and I love that it's so close to home! It is cozy, comfortable, and the food is good. I always feel welcome and happy to be here when I stop in.

Got the orange blossom late iced and was skeptical at first and the ladies informed me it is very floral. Was a perfect drink for a hot day. Definitely plan to stop in again if I am in the area.

Staff friendly. Had lemonade and snikerdoodle cookie while doing some work. Both were real good. I would go back.

This was the best experience I have ever had with crêpes. I didn’t expect anything much as I was just stopping in, but they did an amazing job with my meal. I tried one sweet crêpe and one savory, and they made Mel’s Café my favorite restaurant ever.❤️

Crêpes are authentic and delicious. We ordered La Nordique and La Confiture. The ambience is pleasant and cozy with variety of seating. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch while in the Pittsburgh area
