Best seafood platter around... scallops so good I almost cried! 😋

The Cajun Angels are incredible!

Came here yesterday with a friend. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer, grilled grouper, and Cajun Angels. I loved the Cajun Angels, and the crab dip was delicious.

Just ate here. Very overpriced. $30 for a seafood pasta dish, but we still wanted to try the food here. But then the seafood pasta dishes came out lukewarm. It's hard to eat a cold scallop or shrimp in a cold creamy sauce... I wanted to microwave my food so bad. 😩 The ingredients look like they would be good, but they were served cold. We ordered 3 seafood pasta dishes and all 3 were served lukewarm. Online prices weren't accurate either. Disappointing experience.

The atmosphere was great, lots of happy people. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. It was our first time there and we will make this a regular stop for dinner.

Cade was our server. He was very helpful as we were r reviewing the menu. We were pleased with all our choices. We had Gumbo, Cajun angels, and a Cajun Orleans. Great portion sizes and enough to share. We will plan be back.

Bartender was amazing. Wait staff was mediocre at best. Food was so salty it was inedible. The table next to us warned is to leave...we should have listened. I regret dropping $120 here. 4.1 stars overall is a huge stretch. 2 stars at best.

We have eaten here several times when visiting this area. We have always liked it but very disappointed this visit. It took forever to get our food. They didn't get one of the entrees right grilled instead of fried. They offered to take it back but who wanted to wait for them to redo. No one! We ordered appetizers with them to come back with sorry we are out of pickles, sorry we are out of fried green tomatoes... the quality of their food is lacking. I would expect more with their prices. They add 20% tip with group Of 7 and 3% if you pay with a card. I have no desire to eat there again.

This place was great! We had the crab dip for an appetizer and it was delicious. My husband had the cajun angels( i stole a few) and i had the gulf stuffed shrimp. Both were great in taste. The only complaint i had was my crab stuffing fell off the shrimp but the flavor was there. Our waiter was great! And the blue margarita did not disappoint. Reccomend.

I wasn't to impressed for the price... seemed bland and crab legs were over cooked... Im a big foodie and love to try different places but this one will not get my business again and the wait was 45min to a hour on a week day best part of the visit was the service that's about the only positive thing I can say about this place !!!

I used to go here a lot pre-COVID. Came here this evening for the first time since then, and was pretty disappointed compared to before. They raised prices considerably and also lowered portion sizes. Quality of food has decreased too. Some dishes for my party of six may have spent too much time under a heat lamp (the raspberry chipotle sauce was heated to a hard consistency, fish was kinda dry). Crab cakes were pretty salty too. I don't think it's worth the price anymore for $30-40 per person.

I’ve been here a few times and I drive from pace so it’s definitely a ride. It worth it though because the food is amazing and all the employees I’ve interacted with are super friendly and very helpful. You definitely get a lot of food for the price. It’s worth the $. I recommend if you haven’t ate here yet to give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This was some of the BEST crab legs we have ever eaten in FL by far.

Loved the fried green tomatoes to kick off the meal. Our boys enjoyed delicious crab legs. I tried something new - Cajun Angel and it was the PERFECT amount of spice. Flavor burst in my mouth was a great way to eat the shrimp and crab. My husband had the Broiled Seafood Combo that was delightful! I even tried his scallops (I am VERY picky about if I will eat them or not) and they were so wonderful! We had an amazing person for service. Izzy was sweet and helpful. If we weren't so stuffed we had to bring a box home.....we would have stayed for their key lime pie

We went here last night for the last night of our week Long Beach vacation. We had another friend from Arkansas recommend this place. The menu has a blurb on it about good food taking time and it’s made with love. That’s just an excuse to say it takes forever. Long wait to get seated, even longer wait at the table for our food. We were there after closing it took so long. The worst part is we have someone in our party who has a shellfish allergy. Most places we go even on vacation have some things that can be eaten or they try to accommodate. Not this place. The second we told our waitress we had a food allergy she looked at our family member and told the whole table “you can’t eat anything here”. This girl was young with dark hair. Everyone working was young. She should have never said that because we all felt terrible and trapped. We already waited an hour, then 20 minutes at our table to get orders in and we had a baby. Things in Navarre don’t stay open too late so we had to just stay and hope to get food. Well while going back and forth on trying to find something eat for our family member with allergies, the waitress kept coming back out saying you can’t have this because it’s fried in the same oil, you can’t have this because it’s grilled on the same grill. We couldn’t even get her bread because it was made on the same grill. All we could get them was a plain salad and when they brought it out it was kid sized. Food was marginal. Shrimp is better at many other places in town. But the lack of accommodation for food allergies in 2024 was appalling. Will not be going back in the future when we vacation here.

Food was ok. Pruce is ridiculous. Although they do inform you if you have.8.or.more in your party there is a 20 percent gratuity charge. We did have 8. I asked to put table in two checks thinking this would save us 20 percent extra. Waitress said nothing and obliged. When we received the bill, they charged both checks 20 percent gratuity charges of bill. No wonder waitress said nothing. Rather than 20 percent gratuity, she received 40 percent tip for table. This is ridiculous....go to Red Labster

The waiting area was full with nowhere to sit so we went to sit in our vehicles. I called the restaurant to let them know because they have an antiquated way of issuing handwritten numbers on dry erase cards rather than the beepers that most restaurants use. The lady (I assume was the owner, she was older with short black hair) said they couldn't call us when our number came up, that we had to be at the restaurant waiting. We were in their parking lot in our cars trying to avoid the broiling sun??!! Ok, so I went inside and went to the bar to wait. The bartender was the only highlight of this place, she makes great drinks, was running everywhere trying to do multiple tasks and was very nice. However, I thought it was odd that you couldn't order appetizers at the bar but the people to me and my son had ordered their dinner...weird rules. Our number finally gets called about an hour and 10 minutes later, we are seated and ordered our food. The food comes out, my son's mahi mahi is tough from being overcooked and the breading is falls off my shrimp when I pick it up. Overall, the food isn't terrible but for the prices they charge, they need to step their game. Then the next day, I received a call from my credit card company that my card had been flagged for fraud because someone tried to use it on Seat Geek!!!! A card that I had only used at this restaurant and gave to our server Nina.....I'm not accusing anyone but I have not used that card in months until Friday, June 21st at this restaurant!! We will never go to this restaurant again!!!

This place is amazing. The server was super nice and attentive. The food was great I had the snow crab legs and I ended up having to share there was so much so glad I tried this place out.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) just ate here for the first time, as we are visiting from Georgia. We ordered 3 crab leg dinners, 2 kid meals, and another fish dinner plate. The crab legs were by far the worst crab we have ever had! They were very dry, obviously overcooked, and overpriced for what we were given. We are highly disappointed and would never eat here again.

Ashley was out server she was Awesome. We had 2 appetizers fried green tomatoes and molten Crab Dip with chips. For dinner we had steak and grilled shrimp and seafood platter with new potatoes and coleslaw. New potatoes were amazing. All was delicious.

There were 9 people in our party and the service was great. The alligator tails could have more meat and less rice & tomatoes as hardly everyone got a piece to taste. Te deep fried pickles and crab claws were good. Everyone loved their meal and I had the Cajun grouper which was excellent. Highly recommend this meal and I was surprised how cheap the grouper dishes were compared to other restaurants. My portion was not small as I thought it would be based on price.

First time coming here in our 4 years of visiting Navarre. Very nice atmosphere and decor. Was seated very quickly and server came to the table very quickly and was very nice. Food was mediocre for the price. We were a little disappointed in that aspect -compared to the other resturants we typically visit while in town.

Best grouper ever. I was a Little disappointed that the portion was so small, but it actually filled me up perfectly. Served with new potatoes, coleslaw and hush puppies. My husband had the parmesan stuffed flounder and really enjoyed it as well. If we come back to Navarre we'll definitely eat here.

This is an "off the beaten path" place that you should not pass up. The prices are great and the food is great too. Nine of were able to sit in their big booths and we waiting about 20 minutes for a table. The staff was great and attentive. Everyone in our party loved the food, from chicken nuggets to stuff flounder was cooked perfect. If we come back to Navarre Beach we will definitely hit this place up again. Oh, and this place has the best hush puppies I've ever had. Highly recommend checking this place out instead of chain restaurants.

Good was pretty good. Took forever to get it. Our 45 min wait time to get a table and then another 45 min to get our food. Extremely long night for small children to get dinner. It was good for a one time dinner but would not recommend it for a second time.

First, I guess it's funny we ended up here the way we did, but we're very glad we did! The parking lot had a lot of cars, but ample seating was available. Eclectic decor, which created a casual environment. We were seated quickly, and Stephanie did a tremendous job taking care of us. No appetizers, but we did enjoy a couple of drinks from the bar. We waited a reasonable time for our food. We both ordered the Cajun Angels, which came with hushpuppies, coleslaw and choice of French fries or grilled new potatoes. I ordered mine with the new potatoes and hubby had the fries. Food was wonderful! The "Angels" are "jumbo shrimp stuffed with crabmeat stuffing wrapped in bacon, finished with Creole spices and finally broiled. The slaw was creamy and a touch of sweet. The potatoes were perfect. Absolutely recommend this place, and we plan on coming back before we leave for the next leg of our journey.

Food was AMAZING! If i had any complaint it was it took a while to get the food out. Tried a bunch of places around this area and this is the best overall so far. Good job Ashley!

Ordered the seafood plate boyfriend had a steak. Food was cooked to perfection shrimp was fried , scallops were broiled , steak was medium rare. Waitress was fantastic very attentive. Price was a great deal lower than Destin restraunts with a family atmosphere. A great place to eat.

We ordered the Dungeness Crab, a large serving well presented at a reasonable price Waitres was very attentive and treated us extremely well. A great family restraunt with excellent service.

Not worth it no flavor at all the crab dip was so fishy I couldn’t eat it and I love crab fried grouper no flavor the potatoes must of ran out of season a little salt goes a long way outta invest in some won’t be back nor recommending

We are on vacation & we are from the Baton Rouge area. There are 6 of us & we were seated right away. The place is a very quaint place & the service was excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on all the entrees we asked about. For me, out of the 2 I chose, she recommended the Tuna Orleans. It was Yellow Fin Tuna with a cream cheese sauce, new potatoes & the most delicious hush puppies

Navarre's best kept secret! They served our party of12 with grace and expedience. Delicious seafood, not overpriced. On our list for our next trip to Navarre for sure.😎

This was my first time here. I will definitely be back. I had the shrimp, and they were awesome, and the hush puppies were amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience tonight. I ordered the Cajun Angels (they are spicy, so be prepared accordingly) and they were absolutely delicious. The crab filled jumbo shrimp (Cajun angels) paired well with the new potatoes. The coleslaw was full of flavor and made "in house". The hushpuppies were a bit crispy for me, but they were still good and full of flavor as well. Anyone that knows me is well aware that if you deserve a good review, I will give you one. If you deserve a bad one, well...try better next time (simply check my other google reviews). East Bay Crab House definitely earned an exceptional rating tonight, as the overall experience and the quality of the food were both exceptional! The pricing on the menu is very competitive to other "seafood" restaurants in the area, and signature dishes were actually a bit lower priced than I expected. Recommend to couples, groups and families willing to try seafood for the first time or return customers. I believe this place will not disappoint you. The manager was very friendly and checked on my dining experience more than once.

We live very close, so we’ve tried this place a few times and it is consistently VERY bland.

This is a favorite of ours. The grouper is delicious. Hush puppies are good, though just a bit over cooked for my taste. Slaw is good. Shrimp Alfredo (special menu) was to my husband’s liking, with a good amount of garlic bread. The clam strips were okay. Roasted red potatoes are great, although the fries are pretty good too. Key Lime pie is better than others we’ve had, but the peanut butter pie is A+delicious!! The decor is a bit retro, but warm and comfy. Most wait staff have been great. It’s a local family business. Give it a try!

This place is definitely one to eat at! Our waitress was Ashley and she is the epitome of what a waitress should be! The food was Devine! My husband had the steak, and I had the crab legs! You definitely get what you pay for and more! We will for sure be back!!!

I took a friend visiting from Montana for crab legs as she has never had them. The clam chowder was good but the rest of the 52.00 meal was bad. The crab legs were not good. The better had a weird refrigerator taste, the corn on the cob was far from fresh, I didn’t even bother with the potatoes. Plus the chips with our appetizer were stale. I did not finish my crab legs and did not bother to bring them home. The shells would bend instead of crack open. The management took off 15.00 dollars of a 52.00 meal that I could not even get half way through. Not fresh not tasty at all.

The food had amazing flavor. Very fresh and tasty. The clam chowder was great, the crab balls were tender and flavorful, and my broiled platter was perfect.

Our waitress was more concerned about a table of what appeared to be regulars than she was our table. We asked for ketchup and lemon, which we never got from her. Another waitress actually got them for us. When she finally came to check on us and we told her we had been taken care of, all she said was "thank you". Seriously! She said she was training a new girl. Wow! I hope management sees this and addresses the issue so it doesn't happen to another group of visitors. 😕

My Husband and I absolutely loved the food and the prices which made it the perfect night out for the two of us. We're actually going again tonight!

Our server was nice, that's about the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. The food was absolutely horrible and WAY over-priced. The staff lurking around and sliding in and out of the kitchen door was distracting and sketchy at best. The cluttered decorations/artifacts from years gone by need a good dusting/cleaning. East Bay Crab House needs to step up its game in order to live up to its self-proclaimed reputation.

The grilled grouper is my favorite and i have gotten it many times in the past. I find all the fish is good but the grouper is the best.

Good food, service, and atmosphere. But my only issue is that I looked up the restaurant online and saw the menu which had me interested in it. When we got there the actual menu that was given didn't have half of what was on the online menu. I decided on something online but was disappointed with what had to settle with. Thanks 💯

Hours are stated on the door and google 5-9 pm. We arrived at 8 and despite the door sign saying the hours of 5-9 and having the open sign on, we were told they closed 10 minutes ago.

Great atmosphere and service. I was a little disappointed in the food (kind of bland for my taste) but it was good none the less. If you do go, go earlier. They’re very popular (as expected) and get very busy. However, service does not suffer based on the crowd. Drinks were well priced and food was a little more on the pricy side (but considering the inflation at the moment, not too bad).

The food is really good and our waiter handled our big group fairly well. My only complaint is our waiter gave my appetizer to someone who ordered the same thing but as their meal so my appetizer came out with my food. I should have just sent it back but I didn't want to cause confusion. I took the fried green tomatoes home and they weren't very good later.

Very dated. Perhaps in some opinions, odd smelling. Food is mostly deep fried and leaves you heavy and uncomfortable. Not my cup of tea.

This is a fun deco place with bland food. It was a super long wait for food that was just blah. We were told about the wait, ok, but then to have the bill be so expensive for blah food hurt my feelings. The appetizers were good, the main dishes were a let down. Won't go back. Overcooked fish, scallops chewy, crablegs dry, Alfredo was the best dish and the seafood in it was tiny pieces.

The calamari was over cooked. The fried shrimp had no flavor. The gumbo was ok. The fries were good. The Ribeye was overcooked and mediocre at best. The stuff shrimp wrapped in bacon was over cooked. The waitress was the best part. Service was great. Cokes tasted great. Would of given 2.8 but that's not an option. We will not be back.

We tried this place on a recent visit to Navarre. There were two large parties in the middle which always slows down a kitchen. The appetizer specials included hush puppy breaded pickle chips. Like the rest of our meal it was bland. Stuffed “jumbo” shrimp wrapped in bacon were medium at best. Bacon was undercooked. My fish was overcooked and had acquired the texture of denim. The entire contents of my plate had no flavor beyond the hearty sprinkle of Old Bay and was cooked to oblivion. It really felt as tho the owners and staff had reached a point of no longer caring. This is seafood for people that don’t want flavor or are too drunk to care.

To be honest, the atmosphere and service were top tier. Very sweet people and cute decor. The food not so much. We started off with lukewarm clamchowder. Not horrible but not great. The spinach artichoke was a hard no. It was blended, barely any artichoke and the texture was basically mush. We got the boiled seafood combo platter. The shrimp and scallops were rubber and the tilapia barely had a taste to it. Again mush filet. The crab balls were horrible. Too much breading and had no crab taste. The only thing I will vouch for is the key lime candies they gave at the end. Oh well. Crossing off my seafood list.

We took a 45min drive to come eat. We enjoyed all of it. It was HOT , FRESH,AND MADE TO ORDER. Sorry I didn't get more pictures

Everything we had was excellent. My Ragin Rajun Grouper was wonderful, as were the red potatoes. My wife's grilled grouper was great, too. Good service, great food...what more can you ask for? Oh, yeah: reasonable prices! Had that, too!

We had the best meal for my birthday dinner here! We left stuffed with the best seafood I've had the entire weekend! The staff were courteous and attentive, the place was tidy and well taken care of, the cocktails were fantastic, the stuffed shrimp was divine.

Looked at the menu on their website. Listed tuna steak, shrimp and scallops and Salmon. None was available. Different menu entirely. Ordered stuffed shrimp. I couldn't believe what I got. I have never seen any place slice a shrimp sideways. They then put what tasted like stovetop stuffing on top. Calamari was tough and cold. My husband ordered a seafood platter that was more batter than food. He is a foodie and will eat anything. He left most of his food. My friend ordered a expensive steak and sent it back, it was so tough. Also corn on the cob looked like it had been sitting in water for a while. They put some kind of hot pepper stuff on it. I asked to speak with the manager and the server just pointed up front and said she was up front. I had to go find her instead of her coming to my table. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. On top of this I was told it would add 3 percent to my bill if I didn't pay cash.

Unfortunately, after we called and were told they stop seating at 9:30pm AND their google info says they close at 10p, we walked in at 9p and were told ‘we are closing’ We are here from out of state, and are extremely disappointed!

I'm sure it's normally good. However when we went, while standing in line, the manager came around and said they only had 2 crabs left so if the tables before us ordered them they would be sold out. Understandable. Luckily they didn't and she said she would hold the last one for me. I was so excited and told her thank you! I should have known better. When I received my food (the last crab) that's exactly what it tasted like...the last crab. Way over steamed and chewy. Paid $55 for this plate of 1.25 lbs. I understand that we went kind of late, but never again. Other food was decent though

Pretty pricy for family of 6! But food and service was fantastic. We spent over $400 but it was worth it. Most people don't get apps, entrees and desserts lol. But had to since the food was so good

If you are looking for the "real deal" in seafood, look no further than this little Mom & Pops hidden gem! I have eaten there many times and whenever I have company from out of town, I take them there as well. They also rave about the wonderful seafood place this is. Red Lobster and other seafood places can't hold a candle to East Bay Crab House! If you want fresh, piping hot, tasty, real seafood, you MUST go here!

Went on a Saturday at apx 7 pm and it was not packed. We ordered to go. My husband had grilled shrimp, potatoes, hush puppies. I had stuffed shrimp, fries & hush puppies. The hush puppies were really good and grilled shrimp and I liked the potatoes. The stuffed shrimp in my opinion could’ve been cooked longer and our meal wasn’t above average but it was ok! More people came in as we was leaving & the bartender was nice

Overall food was average. Steaks were over cooked but great flavor, pasta was flavorless. Calamari was Great! Server was nice, atmosphere is ok. Smells of seafood very strongly. Table of 6 spend 230$ with 2 alcohol drinks, kinda pricey for quality.

The service was horrible. We were there an hour and a half before getting our food. Our food was overcooked and most orders were incorrect. The vents above our head were nasty and the building was too cold. I will never return to this restaurant.
