Being from New York City and getting some decent authentic Chinese food in Orlando is a search. But this place is very legit in food preparation and taste! I would not think I am in the outskirts of Orlando. Honey Walnut Shrimp, Shrimp and Eggs and Lobster HK style was all very tasty and you will not be disappointed. Was crunch on time and the food came out quick. Will definitely be coming back here when I am back in town.

Much of the food was OK. nothing special, the pork and the black egg and pork congee doesn’t taste right. Could be better

What a wonderful Dim Sum lunch today with my daughter and good friend! Everything was so tasty-the best I have had in Orlando! The staff were so helpful in suggesting dishes to try. We all really enjoyed laughing together over tea following our meal! Overall a must try!

Food is awesome, Love the big Dim Sum menu, the staff is great with their service highly recommend! Big plates can easly feed 2 people and make sure you ask for the hot chilli oil!

Overall I loved my experience at East Garden. The service was very quick. Our server was very attentive and nice. We waited about 5 minutes before we got our first order. Only one of my orders was missing but it was brought out promptly when I asked. There was a variety of dim sum. The green onion pancakes were excellent. They came out hot and fresh and were crispy. The dumpling sauce that came with the order paired well with it. I tried the shrimp paste and eggplant for the first time and I will say it is very oily but delicious. Most of the other shrimp dim sum items were fresh and had a lot of filling. The fried shrimp balls had a lot of shrimp and came out very fresh. I would definitely recommend checking East garden out if you’re in the area. My friend and I found it on a whim after craving it

Absolutely the best authentic Chinese food Cantonese style!! The portion, variety and flavors of the dishes were outstanding. Our party of 8 shared 9 dishes with tea and soft drinks for $150 and so much leftover to take home. Julie the waitress was the best!!!! If you want americanized food don't come here, if you want authentic food that's truly the best then this place won't disappoint!!!!!

East Garden is so so good! We have been wanting to try this place for a long time and after trying many other authentic Chinese restaurants in the Orlando area, this is easily one of the best! This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in Orlando where I can say we received exceptional service - with a great atmosphere and the awesome service, this would be a perfect place for a date or special occasion if you’re craving real Chinese food and dim sum! We took a lot of recommendations from our waitress, including fried shrimp balls, shrimp stuffed eggplant, shredded beef w/ black pepper, salt and pepper shrimp, and roast pork rice paste. Everything was excellent! The food came out in a timely manner, everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were so good. We especially loved the salt and pepper shrimp and roast pork rice paste! We can definitely see more shrimp and pork dishes being even better than the ones we got. We need to come back a LOT more to try many more things from their menu - they have a big menu, so many amazing options, so be sure to come with a bigger group so you can try a lot of different stuff. They specialize in the dim sum so get some of those to share! And also don’t forget to use a little of their chili sauce to add some spice to dishes - it makes them even better! Awesome service, awesome food, and an awesome place all around!

Definitely authentic traditional southern/ hong Kong - Cantonese Chinese food. The clay pot rice is a must have and is filled with crispy rice on the bottom. Well worth the 30min wait to make. Hot tip, let the waitress know you want clay pot rice early on and tell them to start making it while you slowly look through the menu for other items to order. Items came out fast, hot, and delicious. Waitresses are attentive with great customer service.

The owner is nice but the new employees aren't that friendly. I gave 2 stars because even if the service was okay they still brought out the food fast and all the stuff we needed. We are not satisfied with our food. Although the portion is great but the quality was not good. Because the food has more salt than a flavor. The soup was like drinking hot salted water it doesn't have flavor at all. We felt like this place is more of a quantity than quality. We will not come back again.

Our new favorite dim sum and chinese food restuarant. We've been 5 times now and they haven't missed a beat. If you're looking for dim sum carts, this is not the place for you, as it's ordered from the paper menu and then brought out from the kitchen when ready. But the quality of each item have been top notch and portion of entrees are generous. The shrimp dishes have featured very large shrimp, cooked perfetly each time. The beef is flavorful and tender. Try the XO sauce turnip cake from the dim sum menu. It might sound weird, but trust me, it's really great!

Honestly, the best Chinese food I've had in Orlando. Can't wait to go back! The absolute best hot & sour soup, pork buns, and an amazing Shanghai noodles, I ate the whole thing!!!

LOVE this restaurant!! First time trying it and it is our new go to place! Beautiful clean restaurant, simple elegant decorations, lighting with pretty yellow chairs. We ordered dim sum and all four ones that we picked out were so flavorful & yummy. The shrimp won ton soup and chicken eggplant was perfect. And…Dim Sum is served all day! Prices and portions were good as well. Nice friendly staff that was very attentive. Everything tasted like it did not have MSG with all natural flavors and quality ingredients. It is a must try if you want authentic Chinese flavors and of course dim sum...yum yum :)

3/3/24: Came to dine in with my two little foodies. I have to give them five stars rating. 1. Superb customer service! My little man fell asleep in my arm the whole time. The server was so sweet. She tried to communicate to me in Chinese but I didn't understand a word she said. 😂 But she gestured to help me serve the hot food into the bowls and dishes for my daughter and me since my little man was in a deep sleep in my arms. 2. I recommend the Beef Chow Fun with extra wide rice flat noodle stir fry with very tender beef. I requested no bean sprout and the kids love it. 3. I recommend the há cảo. It has thin skin and well seasoned shrimp filling. Not too salty like some place makes it. 4. I love the Eight Treasures clay pot. It has 8 proteins including tender chicken breast, beef, shrimp, scallop, calamari, cubed fried soft tofu, and shittake mushrooms with a brown flavorful sauce. 5. I also recommend the Crab and Fishmaw Soup. 9/3/22: I came for lunch with a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). My friend from Melbourne wanted to try this restaurant. Pros: 1. Friendly superb customer service 2. Clean and cozy interior design and layout 3. Highly recommend the Stir Fry Water Spinach and Clams with Black Bean Sauce We ordered the following: Dim sum items: Fried shrimp balls - our two families of three generations all thought the fried shrimp balls were on the salty side of the scale. The other items were okay, nothing stands out. Both families prefer Ha Long Bay dim sum over this place. My kids love hac cao but they didn't like this version here. Shrimp paste is on the salty side. Stir fry water spinach - the grownups all enjoyed and recommend this dish. Stir fry flat noodle with beef - It was okay, the sauce didn't stand out, has a strong soy sauce flavor. Noodle was cooked just right for the kids to enjoy. Lobster with ginger scallion sauce - lobster meat was very airy and light. Just not the season for good meaty lobster. Kirin's Court in Plano, TX still makes it a lot better for me. Clams with Black Bean Sauce - Clams tasted fresh and the sauce has a well balance taste of sweetness and saltiness. All the adults love it! I highly recommend this if you like clams. I wanted to take the leftover sauce home but my friend's dad ate it all with steamed rice. Hahaha! Overall, it's a restaurant worth trying.

Shrimp Mei Fun had a heaping pile of noodles! But no snow peas and maybe less than 20 tiny shrimp. Kind of overpriced.

You know the feeling when you enter a restaurant space and know you are in for a good meal. Oooh! This place did not disappoint and definitely delivered on the flavor! I tried the Siu Mai, Stuffed Shrimp Eggplants and Chicken Soup (because it was a rainy day). And enjoyed every single morsel! Can’t wait to treat myself again to this gem!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious, the staff is so attentive, and there's a beautiful painting on the wall that completely immerses you into their culture. Went with a group of friends and we all enjoyed the dim sum; our only regret was not having room for more! We also learned that the chef and owner makes his noodles and other components completely from scratch. Will definitely be going back with an empty stomach to try more!

BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT in Orlando!! I went to try the dim sum and ordered a few different dishes. Everything I tried was so delicious! I recommend the Beef Ho Fun (or any noodle dish really)- they pull the noodles in house, so they are homemade and fresh. The sesame balls were also the best I've ever had. This will be my go to Chinese and Dim Sum restaurant from now on. 100% recommended

Very underrated place, hidden gem, and one of the best!! I've eaten dim sum all around orlando and this is my new spot. I've had the same server he's awesome and pretty sure he remembered me after only being there twice. Their fried rice portion is huge for the the price! After a long week of work this Is a great place to treat yourself!!!

Take out/Pick up order was fast and easy. I've been searching for Turnip Cake around Orlando and found this place near me. So excited, actually TOO excited that I ate it in the car before leaving the parking lot and it was DELICIOUS!! This place reminded me of the restaurant my parents used to own when I was a kid. Definitely coming back and recommending to others.

Ordered siu mai, custard buns, lotus leaf sticky rice, and the fried meat dumpling. Food was pretty okay. Disappointed to taste sweet filling in the fried meat dumpling as I expected it to be savory. Custard buns were pretty sweet. Sticky rice was very filling and the biggest serving there was, so I filled up pretty quick on it. Siu mai was okay. Atmosphere is alright and I’m thankful there was AC in the place when I went.

We don’t live in Florida, but got their food thru Uber. Wow, my best meal thru out my vacation. The ho fun noodle is so authentic taste from Hong Kong, I wish this restaurant is close to where we live, my husband enjoy his pork chop too! Everything is so fresh and tasty!

Been coming to this restaurant for a while owner remembers me always happy to serve us can’t get that any where these days. Dim sum comes out nice and hot every time. Custard egg tart is to die for it taste like childhood with the flaky buttery crust I don’t see anywhere no more. I’ll keep coming here!

My boyfriend and I went there Sunday for lunch. Worst experience for us. The kind woman greeted us, served us water to start But ignored us when we were ready to order. There was a nice gentlemen who came and asked if we've been helped. But the woman sent the man away. She looked me in the eye and I thought that she would come to us. But she walked passed our table to the table next to us and nobody was sitting there. Grabbed something off the empty table and walked away. I felt like we were not welcomed there. Never again.

So happy every time I come here. The food is great, the service was excellent. I highly recommend East Garden, you won’t be disappoint

Tuck Inside Orlando chinatown, this place is more South east Asian restaurant as they serve foods from that region plus Chinese foods. They served dim sum all day. The chicken feet is not too sweet which is good and most of the dishes I can taste more Malaysian spices than Chinese spices.this visit ordered chicken feet, shiu mai, beef tribe, pork tofu skin and beef balls. The staffs are very friendly and prices is affordable.

Went for the dim sum and was NOT disappointed! Spring rolls were super crunchy, turnip dumplings were very tasty, pan-fried sticky rice was amazing! Pork bao buns were dense and chewy, perfect. Definitely get the green onion pancakes. Everything we tried was totally great. Not too expensive either.

We found East Garden on Saturday Night last week. This place was delicious! Everything we ordered was better than the next. We did both Dim Sum (which they have every day all day) and other menu items. The staff was also very friendly which made the dinner that much better! If you like yummy, flavorful and truly good Chinese food...check out East Garden!

Most authentic Chinese food. So delicious. So glad we found this place! We are very particular about our Asian cuisine and this place is definitely worth visiting.

We ordered hot and sour soup to go, which I didn’t see on their menu, but they said they could make it. They charged $22 for a quart of soup (a large), which I think is ridiculous. And the soup was just ok, I had to add vinegar in when I got home. I don’t mind paying a lot for really good food or a lot of food, but this was neither. Staff was friendly though.

I have been missing changfen since living in Shenzhen and the chashao inside was delicious! Beef Ho Fun was authentic made with tasty noodles. All very good and very fresh! We were never greeted or attended to. Tried to seat ourselves down but all tables were dirty. The waiters never acknowledged us as we went back to sit in the front for 15 minutes. Not to mention the guy behind the cash register was just as useless sleeping

I won't return and don't recommend it. You wouldn't want to spend money and get yelled at by the waiter when you sit down for half an hour without having tea, cups and chopstick served. Messy dining environments and an unprofessional work attitude are a big no no.

Wow, the dim sum was amazing! And the General Tso was the best I've ever had... the chicken was so tender it melted in your mouth. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes!
