One of the slowest restaurants I’ve ever been to. If you like to wait, this place is for you.

First time visit. A great price for lunch. Didn't know it wasn't dine in. The food spilled in my lap in the car.

Sadly the food has become inedible here. My Kung Pao was flavorless (just salty) and the veggies were barely cooked (almost raw). The Hunan style chicken was marginally better but also not very tasty. The quality has slowly declined over the last two years here. 😥I worry it won't bounce back at this rate.

Everything else is good but the quality of the maryland crab roll really went down in comparison to when I first started ordering it. Before it used to be lump crab meat but the last few times ordering it, it's just been all breading 😔

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious (I had the hot and sour soup and veggie lo mein noodles, husband had beef with broccoli). Would definitely recommend!

This was by far the WORST experience of service I have experienced. I called and placed an order over the phone and the person (Wenting Jiang) argued with me about what she wrote down the order incorrectly. She became very angry and snatched the food away to take it back to the kitchen. (Now, you know when an angry server does this that means they’re going to do something to your food.) I walked to the back to ask her why, and she grab my arm as to remove me. I was so confused. The police was called because of it, when she was the one that put her hands on me. SMH It’s a shame how I was trying to patronize her establishment and this is how they treat us. (Black people)

Food was okay but the customer service was terrible! Chick at the front was really nasty and wierd

Paid $17 for a crab roll with a little crab on top...took it back, they can see for themselves...there is a little crab meat on top. Lady says "sorry"...she was so busy talking to a gentleman with a suit on, I sat there waiting for my food and had to excuse myself to ask her if my food was ready...I guess when a suit comes, it's ok to ignore paying customers...been here before amd it wasn't this...smh

Seriously the best sushi in the DMV area. And we eat a lot of sushi! Very affordable as well

Nothing special about this place. Food was ok at best. Hot and sour soup was very bland, fire roll was not fire at all. kinda soggy roll. only traveled 1 mile to hotel with my food. White tuna was very underwhelming. it just wasn't very good. Place was clean staff was friendly.

Peking Duck, Crispy Beef, shrimp dishes are amazingly tasty! Best asian cuisine in the town! Love the fried chicken wings, fried rice and the noodle as well! Food ordered in party tray has great portion, very reasonable price 👍👍👍

Spring rolls werent very crispy. Egg rolls were good. Shrimp tempora batter was too think on the veggies and the batter wasnt fully cooked. The panang curry only tasted like chili paste and not much curry flavor, the curry broth was also very thin and almost pure white, matching the color of the chicken.

I recommend the spring rolls because the restaurant orders them frozen and pre-made so it's hard for them to mess them up. Everything else...hard pass. I ordered the simplest dish today, pork fried rice. It was awful with the pork being burned and stringy. Wendy's across the street is a better option.

By the way ended up at Osaka down the street Amazing Service.

We went in to Dine In and were seated only to have carry out delivered to our table. Don't be fooled, they are not prepared for dine-in customers - no real plates, no tea, no wait staff who knows how to be a wait staff... You get the idea. They need to let customers know up front they are take-out only.

They have remained carry out only since COVID. We were visiting and eating in our hotel was not ideal. As soon as the lady heard about out situation she made an exception and let us eat there. The staff were so nice and friendly. To top it off the food was amazing. Peking duck was delicious.

Food is ok at best! I just order for my staff for lunch and spend a good deal on it each time but after they messed up the order and won’t fix it! We will go elsewhere! Terrible customer service! Talk to me like I’m done theft or a child!

Will never order from here again. Customer service is terrible and the food is not the same. Food half done is waist I experienced and the rice is nasty. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Please

I paid $22 for a so called Peking duck half. It was shredded duck with the skin on the top to make the plate look fuller. Also, I bought two different dishes and they gave me a medium box of rice for all three dishes. I spent $47.44 for this bad service. WHAT A RIPOFF!!!

Good food, good price. Loose one star for too much oil in food and for using old oil some times.

After nine years of ordering here, I probably won't be again. There has been a change in quality that just doesn't make it worth ordering from them any more.  I tried to write it off as a temporary issue, but orders a month apart had problems.  They have persistent staffing issues (which everyone does), but there also seems to have been a change to the quality of the meat they use. - I used to be a big Peking duck fan, but the last order was not only 15% fat, but had bones in it, which it never used to - We got sesame chicken, but instead of sesame, they covered it in peanuts, so my son couldn't eat his order at all, and was a major health risk - The appetizers seem like an afterthought now. The ribs were also very fatty for one.  The order of teriyaki spears was the worst.  Starting with they cut the serving size in half (which they fixed, but required driving all the way back), they were dry as jerky and unpleasant to eat.  They didn't seem overcooked, but like they were from hours to a day old.  The ones we did get to finally fill the order were cooked fresh, but were only half the size I am hoping this is temporary, and they can fix these issues, since we have been ordering from them every 4-6wks or so for almost ten years, but I can't spend $80 for a meal I won't enjoy until these issues are fixed.

I have lived in Greenbelt for over four years and finally picked up lunch from East Pearl. The menu has a variety of options which is always great. I selected the chicken tempura and spring rolls for lunch, both were tasty!

Ordered takeout here for years, willing to work with dietary restrictions when possible, no issues. Tried over the weekend and 1) allowed me to preorder 10 minutes before open, but then told me they hadn't checked online orders after open, 2) told me that the dish I had ordered for many years was not able to be adjusted and 3) ACTED SHOCKED THAT IT EVER WAS AND ASKED IF WAS i SURE. I canceled the order, walked out, and will never go back.

It is no longer open for dine in. Mooshu pork was fair. I've had better with a larger portion.

We got takeout. I loved the Chicken pad Thai, and my friend loved the chicken he got. Food was a good price and good portion sizes.

Still not open for dining after all of this time. This is a shame because they had great sushi. It just doesn't have the same quality as dine in.

I have supported this restaurant for years going back to the time when it was called Royal Jade. The ambiance within the restaurant has changed and looks great but still not able to dine in. The menu has expanded and there are many options.

Don’t bother. They have no employees and are always making mistakes.

They gave me Only 4 shrimp in my shrimp fried rice.I Will never come here again.The Quality has declined tremendously.

Unfortunately I think this is the last time I'll order from here after going here for the last few years. The food has never really disappointed until today. The food (General Tso's Chicken and Fried Dumplings) was clearly heated from one of those frozen bags you find in the grocery store. Trust me, I know the difference. That has done it for me! Mission: Find another Asian restaurant or just stay home and cook my own food.

I ordered this off of Uber eats and it was good! The tartar was mashed up which isn’t my fav, but overall the rolls are unique and cheap which I love, and the wonton soup was super flavorful and yum. Quick delivery within price range!

We got vegetable fried rice, tofu mixed vegetables, vegetables spring rolls, avocado rolls and sweet potato rolls. Everything was fantastic and staff are very kind and helpful.

I went here as a kid for the amazing Chinese food and came back as an adult pleasantly surprised by the fresh, fatty salmon sushi

Disappointed, we went to go for a meal went in and all tables were blocked off and were told it is only take out! We ordered two of their most expensive meals , got home and discovered only one rice with two meals. The food was fair but not worth returning ever.

Inside the restaurant it’s filthy and disgusting. I saw a roach crawling on the counter. The lady that called herself the manager was very rude and disrespectful. The health department needs to go in to fine them and shut it down. I wouldn’t feed my dog straps out of there. Period!

The worse food, I’ve had in a while. Ordered General Tso Chicken $7.50 plus tax $7.95, suggested by persons at the counter. Only to be told that if I wanted fried rice it would cost $2.00 extra. If you get rice you can’t get soup. Don’t be fool by the price on the medium, because you will be told, you have to get one item with your meal. The two people at the counter were new another familiar with the pricing. So they charged you whatever they want. I was told that the manager was not there and they would have to call me. When I went back to the restaurant, the same person said, oh the kitchen was buy and just forgot to put the soup in the bag. What a mess. The food tasted horrible. What happen to Jade Palace? Never, ever will I ago there again.

Man what a waste of money.This place is only good if you order mid-day/early afternoon. But if you’re ordering 2-3 hours before closing they don’t care. I had two bad experiences. I ordered a Mongolian beef; it was cold and it was mainly onions and very chewy. Second, time I ordered food for me and my family and the lady said “it’ll be ready in 5 minutes” I was shook when she said that. When I got my food it was flavorless and it looked like it had been microwaved. Never going back!!!

Waited more than 50 minutes for my order. The food was boring. It had no flavor. The other reviews about this place are true and the lady is rude. They were playing very explicit rap and rock music. Don't go here.

Food was horrible. I ordered Drunken Noodles and literally had no taste… it tasted like dry noodles and there was no sauce on it. No seasoning. Absolutely horrible. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. If you’re looking to order from here… DONT

First, there is no dine-in as Google says. Next, I ordered shrimp egg foo young and the gravy was ice-cold, like custard. Yuck!

Very disappointed. I used to love eating at this establishment. I tried to place a carry out order and asked a question about the size of the Drunken Noodles and I was hung up on. I called back and was put on hold but was actually across the street. The female never came back to the phone. I kept it on hold and walked in and what did I see? The female that answered had the phone laying on the counter and she was playing on her cell phone. I informed her that my call was still on hold and asked why she hung up on me and then placed me on hold. She said she was taking other calls. She was so rude This was an absolute lie. I caught her in the act. I will not beg an establishment to take my money! A gentleman walked up to me and I told him what happened and he said they were very rude to him on his last visit as well. I will NEVER patronize this business ever again!

The worse chinese food you can find. Has no taste and I get stomach pain after eating it. Also the girl taking orders over the phone is super rude. Anytime I call to put an order if I am not fast, she hangs up on me. Last time told me she can not repeat to me several times. I only asked her to explain to me what is in the combination platter once, and she hung up on me twice the same day. I will never go back there, even though it is the closest option to my work. Horrible customer service.

Lo mein was very oily. Nothing seemed tobbe made fresh. Steamed dumplings, Egg roll. Typical hole in the wall Chinese joint found in Maryland.

Sub par portion size. I had Hunan Shrimp, there were only 3 shrimp in the order and 4 pieces of broccoli…. Not worth my money nor the time spent going there. Never again

Ordered the seafood delight with brown sauce and fried rice. There wasn't any brown sauce or fried rice. The dish calls for lobster, but twice they've used imitation crabmeat stick. The scallops were chewy as if they were cooked froze.

This establishment has DECLINED!!! I have been a patron over the last 5 years and have never received such poor service. Recently, I ordered multiple dishes including combination egg foo young. (the food is NOT cheap) We got the food home and opened the bag to discover that they did not pack any sauce for the referenced dish. I called back to the restaurant to inquire and possibly run back to pick up the sauce. The woman who answered the phone was ridiculously rude and short. She assumed to know who I was and told me that I only ordered a shrimp fried rice and then told me that they don't serve egg foo young. I corrected her and proceeded to explain my situation and she then cut me off and spat out "What do you want me to do about it!?!" I chose to end the call and also end my years of patronage. p.s. We ended up tossing the food out that night due to the lack of seasoning. DO BETTER EAST PEARL...if you plan to stay in business!! I've also attached a photo of the egg foo young that they "don't sell".

Never ordering from here again. To be fair, I did order delivery in the last hour, but if you don’t care about the order, tell us to go somewhere else! Chicken Teriyaki came with out any teriyaki. Just plain chicken and rice with broccoli. Fried chicken wings were stiff as a rock. No soup. (Subbed rice instead). Not a good experience.

I was looking for a good alternative after Hunan Treasure closed before pandemic. So first time here. Good quality. Portion ok. Taste better than other Chinese restaurants in the area. Price ok too. If I am really craving for good Chinese food I would come here again.

My wife and I order from here constantly. All the food is incredible, the portions are huge, and the prices are low. It’s a real gem.

I live in DC and go to greenbelt just for East Pearl! Their food is amazing and the service is wonderful. They were extremely careful during covid, and I cannot wait for them to fully reopen.

Very good place, awesome food. Much better than those takout, smaller Chinese places. Tried duck here for the first time, not bad but very oily and fattening. Very good egg drop soup, and excellent general tsos chicken. Pork tasted like it had just come from the deli, very delicious. Highly recommend

Reasonable priced asian fusion & sushi options! This was my first visit since moving to the area. I walked in to place my takeout order on a busy Friday night, and only had to wait about 15 min for my order. I LOVE Thai food and sushi and their pineapple thai fried rice is the right amount of sweet & spicy!

This is now my go-to Chinese restaurant. I'm not sure why but it took me a while to try them after Royal Jade left and later failed. I love it! They're consistently good and very friendly!

This place is wonderful! Now I see why the ratings were so good. I used grubhub for delivery. I ordered general tso chicken, shrimp lo mein and shrimp tempura. I was pleasantly surprised. (No I don't understand the hole in the box.)

It's been a year since we ate here because of covid but we absolutely loved it. Food is delicious, staff is great, and the interior is comfortable, classy and relaxed. Perfect place to unwind at the end of the day and hoping we get the chance to dine in once covid is over. I wanted to write a review because I know a lot of businesses are struggling and this is one restaurant I don't want to dissapear.

I got basil chicken that I liked a lot. My wife got panang curry that she was not impressed by. They have a wide menu and I look forward to trying more items on it.

Always easy pick up and good food. Occasionally the order is just slightly off but it is my go to place.

It was my first time there. I had sushi. I'll give the California roll three out of five stars and the tuna roll 2 out of 5 stars, reason being, tuna a little stringy and was cut too large of pieces. The tuna was however, fresh.

We went here for dinner and were the only table in our section. We had fast service and our food came out right away. We had dumplings, lomein, sushi, and sesame chicken. It was all good and huge portions. The sushi was made to order.

They do not deliver despite what their website says. Pretty good sushi though. The lack of delivery makes them a poor option for chinese food though.

Had to ask the young lady at register for more sauces that she said she put in bag(not) any way my food was so so tempura under cooked and poorly battered the sea weed salad was very good miso soup was ok

At the moment you arrive in that place the stuff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a nice place to hang out with buddies or with your date. yummy cuisine, professional chef de cuisine, reasonable cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.

The staff here are great, friendly and personable. The sushi is good, and the Chinese food is above average. Some items are slightly pricey.

I like eating in East Pearl, especially a good and spicy noodle soup. They prepare tasty dishes and the place is clean and friendly. Good restaurant.
