Very nice staff , very helpful when it comes to the menu as far as answering questions, the food just personally isn’t for me I spent over 30 dollars and was not satisfied with the food overall not a sushi person though my co workers enjoyed if that’s counts !

Delicious miso ramen, the soup is very flavorful, the portion of noodles is generous, and there is an ice cream dessert after the meal, the value is quite high!

This restaurant lost any future business from me. This was over $10 extra being squeezed out for one drink. Stick to the menu prices. I didn't want to cause a fight, so just paid the inflated bill and wrote it off as a loss. I frequent the complex often and will avoid this place in the future - at any cost!

Welcoming atmosphere with incredibly fresh food. We ordered veggie tempura, salmon lover, rainbow, caterpillar, yellow tail, spicy tuna, yuzu tobico rolls. Our server was top notch and very attentive. He was the one who recommend the salmon lover and it was our favorite. We’ll definitely be back for more

Thou Wish this East winds was in walking distance from the apartment it's quite far, My Brother And I Go Here for Special Edition Occasions or whatever he's coming down from Camp Verde AZ. We used to Go to an EastWinds weekly When there was One Open and we lived together in the PV area and East Winds was right By the Mall there. Lot's of similar Yet different Deals and Stoked about the Menu additions and Udon Bowl's, Finally have in house made Pickles like Any Japanese Sushi bar. Can't get enough of them and the variety of sushi and sashimi is so fresh in Melts in your mouth, So That' is High Quality Fresh Fish. Wasn't sold on the edamame, didn't taste any garlic or seasoning, We Really enjoy Each time we visit Here. Last visit Was great for we slide into Happy Hour Deal's on Pickle, Seaweed salad and Many Sushi rolls and even ordered More Off the regular menu. Thankful for Great attention to details, Freshness and Quality and additional items on the Menu and Happy Hours Deals Too

Ramen is delicious, very friendly staff, and sushi is great. Been coming here for almost a year and they never disappoint.

Great friendly staff with a great lunch special and the food is really good.

Decided to try lunch specials and they were so good. Had the California bowl and Spicy beef bowl and both were delicious! Will be back to try other things. Food took a while but guess good food takes times and there was an error on our ticket but she was the only waitress working. She was friendly and checked on us a couple times. Was given a free dessert which was a nice surprise.

The food was amazing but the drinks were disappointing we had a glass of Stella beer which was flat and a glass of white wine Riesling which came in a water glass instead of white wine glass which also was flat the wine price 8.50$ not worth it.Service was good can be better.

Really cozy spot! Absolutely no wait when I went in around 2pm, and was served almost immediately. I got the gyoza and fire pork, both were absolutely delicious!! The fire pork was packed with flavor. Everyone was so kind, I’d definitely go there again and recommend it to others!

This place was a pleasure surprise. We were in the neighborhood and looking for a quick dinner, and we chose it primarily because it was happy hour and they have happy hour specials. It was a good choice. The gyoza and the spicy tuna roll were very good, and the Cali bowl was very tasty and an ample amount of food for the money. The two of us shared those dishes, and it was plenty for both of us at a reasonable price.

Not coming back here anymore. Its bull that you guys do to-go orders first over customers that are physically at your location in person. I sat there for 55 minutes waiting for food WHEN THE PLACE IS EMPTY. EMPTY.

The food is super delicious and fresh. This time we visited for dinner, I ordered miso ramen, teriyaki beef rice, and fried shrimp. The miso ramen soup is delicious and the saltiness is just right. The teriyaki beef rice is well seasoned and goes very well with rice. The fried shrimps are very fresh, the coating is crispy and delicious, and there is no oily smell. Highly recommended👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The service was excellent. I ordered the tuna sashimi, and it was average. The ramen was a bit bland but not horrible. Most likely, I will not return.

This visit was only my second time in the last 5 years, so I am unable to give a thorough personal review, food was very good and prices was about average for Japanese food.

Good vegan tofu sushi. The sweet potato rolls are like candy. The servers are kids, so the service is hit or miss. Overall, still love this place.

This is a regular go too for my friend and I of 29+ years when we want to catch up. We have eaten a lot of sushi together over the years and this place scratches that itch for us. We love their dragon roll and green muscles. We also split a nigiri and sushimi combo plate which was excellent. They have gluten free soy sauce for me which was a big plus (if you ask).

Just tried this place for the first time today still eating. It’s so delicious I had to stop and give review rite away so delicious would recommend to any one in az to try it.

Off times are a great time to go, especially if you have a child with you. The staff go out of their way to accomodate and ensure everyone in your party is welcomed, and has a great time.

This was not my favorite sushi. Definitely not the best in the valley. I was not a fan of the food. There was not much variation with the sushi. It was clean and the service was great.

Absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for years and it’s definitely one of my favorites! It’s a quiet calm atmosphere. Out of all the sushi restaurants we go to… Eastwind has some of the best in our opinion! We keep it simple and don’t order the expensive rolls. Tend to order an eel roll! Along with that, I absolutely LOVE their yakiniku & fire pork! Perfect amount of spice and so flavorful! Not to mention the little ice cream at the end :3

Our fav sushi/ramen spot! The food is superb and the staff is always amazing! Definitely recommend the garlic spicy edamame, the veggie upon, & the hakata ramen. I could definitely list so many more delic dishes & rolls but you'll just have to come in and try them yourself!

The food is great, I have gotten the Pad Thai which tastes amazing definitely get as well as the ramen. One of the best parts is that they give you a little scoop of vanilla ice cream with carmel drizzle to top off the meal. Great atmosphere definitely check them out!

Sushi is always awesome here. Love their tonkatsu ramen and pad thai. Also tried their mushroom app for the first time, highly recommend you try those.

We tried this place recently, and they did not disappoint. It was some of the best sushi we have found in Arizona so far. They are not an AYCE, but the food is worth going there for. This will be our new go-to restaurant for sushi. Update: Service has been lacking the last few times we have gone. There were barely any people there, and it took a long time to get our drinks and food. Food was still great.

We really enjoy the food, drinks and employees at Eastwind’s. Everyone each time is very friendly and helpful. Not packed or excessively busy, but steady where you know customers keep coming back like us.

I have visited this place a few times now and every single time I leave satisfied and happy with the services provided, their food has been tasty and great consistently every single time.

Ordered take out and was about a 45 minute wait. Seemed a bit over priced but for the quality and portions, it was worth it. The chicken katsu dish is my favorite and can probably be split within two people. It’s hard to find good Katsu near this part of town but this place cooks the chicken well and the sauce is very good. The sushi rolls were very good as well.

Fantastic Sushi, the negiri seemed fresh. The waitress was attentive and chacked in frequently. The price of everything was lower than expected AND they brought us tiny scoops of ice cream with our bill. This will be added to our "favorite spots". I would recommend the Sedona roll *chefs kiss*

Sushi is middle of the road, a bit over sauced and almost every single roll has sauce. If I was in the area and wanted sushi I'd return but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so

Eastwind is an easy going mom and pop japanese restaurant. They have a nice selection of americanized sushi and a delicious California roll. The only issue I had is their entree lack consistency. The shrimp fried rice will be delicious most of the time and then randomly won't taste the same as previous experiences same for the Ramen one day the broth will be flavorful and the next taste muted and not as vibrant. I order take out and or dine in 2 to 3 times a month so the inconsistency issue happens 20% of the time. At the end of the meal when you dine they give you a nice small complimentary cup of ice cream. They change the flavor periodically so don't be surprised if they don't have your favorite it's free ice cream don't complain.

Had their typhoon sushi combo and it was absolutely delicious! The fish just melted in your mouth! I would definitely come back here again!

LONGEST WAIT I'VE EVER HAD FOR SUSHI! Our waitress was so nice, but when I confronted the manager about this fact, she was rude and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Note: we were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant. AVOID unless you have at least 1.5 hours to dedicate to an average sushi experience.

Second visit, sushi rolls were very good, daughter had the shrimp tempura udon and finished the whole thing (in 2 days) not mind blowing but currently the best in the area.

Food is not bad but they put way too much sauce on their sushi rolls. Ordered 3 different rolls and all of them were just drenched in the sauce which made the rolls way too salty. I would ask for less sauce next time

To start off, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and it has a great atmosphere. The food was amazing, and they even gave out free ice cream at the end. I wouldn't call this place cheap, but it's not super expensive either. All in all a wonderful place to eat if you love asian food or are looking for a nice quaint restaurant to try out.

Sushi Roll portions are VERY, VERY SMALL. Half the size of every sushi place I have visited. Very good though.

The Jalapeño poppers and Suchi we're the best of the best, the super friendly staff will make you feel at home. We are new in the area and now we have found our new favorite spot for life.

I’ve been here many times with my husband and avocado sushi, eel unagi is always amazing. Today I tried a Korean beef stir fry and it was the best I’ve had! 100 % consistent on flavor 😋 This is the spot 👍🏼👍🏼

My boyfriend and I went here on a date night. He got 3 sushi rolls and they did end up coming out smaller than expected but they were so darn goooooood! I got the shrimp tempura and it was so tasty. And to top it all off they came out with complementary ice cream for us. Very good and recommend it :)

Service was friendly and presentation of the food was outstanding than most places. I was happy to see that they have sweet potato as an option because most places do not offer sweet potato rolls.

Sushi restaurants are almost everywhere in AZ. So when you find a really good one it's a great thing. The quality is first rate,. The service was where they won me over as our go to sushi place.

We had baked mussels app and they were fantastic. I was impressed with their sushi menu and the service was great too.

First things first, the pad Thai is a solid 5*--it's the best I've had in a long time. The fried rice was also delicious. I really love the Smokey flavor they had. The rest of the food was 4.5*, mainly because the chicken in the chicken teriyaki was pretty over cooked. Sushi was pretty decent (I got the green dragon roll). I highly recommend this place, and will certainly go back (especially for that pad Thai, hot dang!) Service was outstanding. They brought a little sampler cup of ice cream on the house for my toddler when he was starting to act up.
