Lemme tell ya you will NOT regret coming here. This place is the bomb dot com. The food is CRAZY good and the staff are the kindest people. We got many different dishes including orange chicken (perfectly crispy and flavored), fried rice (reminded me of my favorite Chinese restaurant we went to as kids), egg rolls (our toddler inhaled them), maui bowl, stir fry, and more. Every dish is firing on all cylinders we were just floored. We are from out of state and this will become a tradition every time we visit.

Love this place, great food and prices, they are always nice and seem to know everyone that comes in. I’ve been told you can tell a lot about a place by its lettuce and this place always has fresh lettuce. Highly recommend.

Nice cafe serving teriyaki style food, nothing elaborate. I ordered teriyaki chicken without rice, with steamed vegetables. The service was excellent, the price was barely $10! The chicken was slightly dry, but had good flavor. Veggies were great, not overdone.

So glad we stopped in here for dinner. Cashier and all the staff were super friendly. Food was delicious and big portions. Great value, highly recommend!

Service is great here super fast too but honestly, they don’t put many toppings in the Yaki soba and my shrimp tasted very frozen and was super soft like it was sitting somewhere defrosting they didn’t cook it into the food much and it’s pretty bland the sauce taste like it’s from a store but I guess I should’ve assumed that considering it was out within five minutes this cost me about $16 as well

I was craving some teriyaki chicken, I googled and found Island Teriyaki, the man at the counter was really welcoming and friendly, took my order, it was freshly made. The food was amazing, the portion was plentiful and I will go back to try more of the dishes.

Been eating here a couple times a month for the last year or two since moving into the area. I usually get the Cayman with dark meat teriyaki chicken and the stir-fried veggies. I also get the large so it includes a little side salad. This is just over $10 with tax and is a very filling meal and I'm a big guy. I have recently started getting the chicken fried rice which is also very good, be warned it has small chunks of pineapple but is very good. Chicken is always cooked well and juicy veggies and rice a good quality and generous portion. Honestly the only thing I wish were slightly better is the actual Teriyaki sauce, I prefer the sauce at Samuarai Sams or Onos which is slightly sweeter and more flavorful. The food quality here is better though so I will continue to be a fan.

We’ve been coming here for 12+ years and still make the drive even when we’ve over to other parts of the valley. They have the most fresh, moist REAL chicken ever!!! The best rice and veggies and any other product we’ve ordered has been nothing but perfect and delicious. Now if we can just get them to open one more store up north Peoria, we’d be stoked!

Island Teriyaki is a hidden gem. The food is good. The prices are reasonable. The people are quick, efficient and friendly. Lots of choices whether you just want a bowl or a full meal. The salad dressing is really delicious.

Met the owners at Sam's Club and told me about their restaurant. I have been looking for a good teriyaki chicken bowl. I live in Surprise and when I mentioned my meeting with the owners to my wife, got in the car that night for dinner and was so happy to have found this place. The fried rice is so good, I have been waiting to find a place that has great fried rice. This is defiantly a diamond in the ruff. This restaurant is generationally owned and the young couple running it is wonderful.

Absolutely amazing!!!! It was our first time trying it and it was absolutely amazing!! Gary was amazing also! He let my fiancé try the spicy chicken before we ordered! I got just plain chicken teriyaki with white rice and loved it! My fiancé got the yakisoba noodles with the spicy chicken and he loved it! Normally he’s really picky about his noodles so it was nice that he loved them!! It’s my new favorite restaurant!

I'm so glad that this place is still in business. I used go here all the time when I worked at Blockbuster across the street over 22 years ago. I do miss the sign that said "BROWN RICE SAME PRICE" though. Even the soap in the bathroom is island scented! Stay up, love ya guys :)

Friendliest staff and the best cooks

This is the best Asian food restaurant out there! Been going here for years and the food is delicious everytime and never disappoints! I've tried so many of their dishes from the teriyaki bowls, yakisoba, fried rice, chicken and now their new bologui bowl which is a new top favorite and it makes it hard to pick what to get each time. Sides are also super yummy from their eggrolls to crabpuffs and even the salad dressing for the salads is so good and I would buy it by the bottle if I could to have at home! The prices are great for what they give you because its a big portion and I usually always have leftovers. Everything always tastes fresh and real and the service is always wonderful. I have yet to have a bad meal from there. If you haven't been there definitely give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

I seriously found a great food spot. I had the Yakisoba Chicken and it was amazing. It tasted so wholesome and was cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful little place! I took my kiddos out for dinner tonight. The atmosphere isn’t anything fancy but it’s homey and clean. I did like their fresh flowers and house plants. Wonderful service. Delicious food. Very responsibly priced (less than McDonald’s). The veggies were fresh and the salad was very cold, crispy with a delicious dressing. We all ordered something different and everything we ordered delicious. I’m kinda picky and I liked it all. Decent portion sizes we ordered the dinner portions and we all took leftovers home. We definitely will be back! The people working there were very sweet and kind. Over all good vibes and great food!

This place was great. The guy working the register and other workers were super chill. The only thing better than the vibes was the food. Their potstickers are bueno, the fried rice is too, and their sauces and meat were super satisfying. I had the Maui and Tahiti style.. both were really good but the Tahiti thinly sliced pork was phenomenal. Can’t wait to try their yakisoba, bulgogi, and the chicken katsu. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to get orange chicken with rice.

Me and my family ate their delicious food ranging from teriyaki chicken to the crab puffs, everything is amazing and if you like Panda Express then you may never go back to PE again after trying Island Teriyaki. It puts them to shame.

I really liked going for lunch with a friend service was excellent, when i ordered i felt like i was their friend right away. And the food almost made me cry it was too good, when going here i recommend the pot stickers

The restaurant is tucked into a tiny spot in a strip mall and has been for years. The service was very good, the person taking my order had a great personality, knowledgeable, and the food came fast. The Interior is dated but still cozy. You can eat there, but seating is limited.

Egg rolls weren't that good but noodles and teriyaki chicken bowl was very good. Had the right flavor sauce. Rice was perfectly made

Teriyaki sauce is not good. Just bland and salty. Jalapeños do not make an item Jamaican. Not worth a second try.

The selection of food and choice of how you want it is great! The staff are very friendly and helpful in helping you pick something you will like. I got the Fiji (beef teriyaki) with fried rice and it's incredibly delicious 😋. I will be going back for sure!

Ordered the Oahu rice bowl (White meat chicken, trimmed and marinated), Tahiti rice bowl (Thinly sliced pork) and spring rolls. We got there 15 minutes before they closed. They had no what rice. Our bad. So we had the brown rice. I personally didn't like the brown rice, but my wife did. The spring rolls were delicious. The bowls were ok. I think I would give them another chance, but get there a lot earlier to get fresh food.

So yum! I found this place two days ago and I've already visited twice. I've tried the Singapore chicken rice bowl -- which is different from typical Singapore chicken rice and more similar to a Japanese curry chicken rice -- but my favorite so far. If I had to be picky, I would recommend keeping the rice slightly more moist. I also tried the Jamaica bowl (pictured) with its sweet and spicy sauce. The Jamaica bowl is good but it could use something cool on the side to balance it out (pickle, cucumber, etc). The restaurant is clean and has a fun vibe. And best of all, the owners seem really sweet. I'll come back the next time I'm in town and try a third menu item 😀 Thank you for having healthier options in the area! J

The #1 teriyaki place in all of Arizona. Dozens of different flavors, all of them delicious! I've never had a bad dish here, every type of teriyaki is seasoned perfectly and served with expertly cooked meat! The rice is always fluffy and warm, the salad dressing is to die for, this place has it all!

Been going here for years and it has expanded its menu and the items are very tasty. Prices are reasonable based on what you're getting. Interior is attractive and practical with good seating.

I ordered the Jamaican Teriyaki Chicken, sauces were plain and super salty. I really wish I could give a better review but I didn't like the taste of the food. The chicken didn't taste like anything special and was dry.

Great quick serve restaurant. Nicely decorated and delicious food. There was a nice variety of Asian foods. The service was fast and friendly. I had the Island Fried rice and my husband has the Singapore chicken curry. We loved it. I am looking forward to coming back.

They were out of a few things when I went but what I finally got ended up being really tasty (spicy chicken and beef teriyaki bowl). The service was great too and the guy working up front was so positive.

Island teriyaki has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. The food is always excellent. If you want great food everytime this is the place for you. I suggest the Jamica it has always been my favorite. Spicy jerk chicken with veggies or rice you can't go wrong. The Oahu and Catalina are my wife and kids favorites. Best chicken I've had at a restaurant like this. The staff is always friendly and strive to get you the best they offer.

First time coming here was Monday, 3/28/22. The food was great. My husband and daughter enjoyed it as well. I definitely see myself coming back in the future. We ordered teriyaki chicken with rice. It came with a side salad and delicious dressing. Family owned business. The cashier was very helpful and seemed to be son of the owners. This place gave a family type vibe. I love it

One of those places you want to find in a city. A small but great place for good food. I've been missing curry and was surprised to see they had curry chicken bowl! it was delicious. I want to try their teriyaki also! Buy food here instead of all the big fast food places. support local restaurants!

Been coming here for 15+ years. Since I was a wee baby this has been my favorite place to eat. I’m NEVER disappointed. Always hot, fresh, great quality home cooked food. They’re so fast, it’s practically fast food, but 5 star food, for an AMAZING price. Feed a whole family of 5 in less than 20 dollars.

Delicious. The chicken katsu was crispy and tender, fried rice was delicious and so was the miso soup. The potstickers are sweet and tangy.

Super good teriyaki place! The Jamaica chicken was delicious. The stir fried veggies were also very good. I heard quite a few people ordering the Oahu chicken bowl, so I will probably try that next. I'm usually not a big fan of teriyaki sauce, but this place probably has the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had. Give it a try!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in AZ. I have never had a bad experience, in fact the service and the food get better every time I visit and I’ve been coming here for 5 years. For how much food you get and how fresh it is I would say it’s priced extremely fair. My favorite item on the menu is the protein bowl, it’s a bunch of chicken and stir fried veggies that taste incredible. Thank y’all for continuing to be consistently my favorite place to eat. P.s. the Bermuda triangles are CRAZY GOOD
