Solid meal all around. Beautiful space. Good crowd. Food is as good as any steakhouse at that level. Beating out the bigger chains...for sure..

Excellent experience. Steak was perfect, salad & bread delicious. Our server, Danielle (I think is her name ) was lovely. Best crème brûlée in town.

What an excellent experience. From the moment we walked in there was warm greetings. We were blessed to have Julian taking care of us. They suggested a few items and helped guide us through the menu. We kicked off with the Patron margarita and an old fashion with a smoke show. It’s been a while since I have had a proper made margarita. Started with a refreshing tuna tar tar served on a chilled plate, making every bite perfection. Then tried another cocktail called “With Love, Eddie” made with an in house clarified Bourbon and this one definitely gets your emotions stirring. We moved onto to the star of the show a succulent lobster tail along with a perfectly cooked filet. Did the Truffle Mac n Cheese as well as the crisp green beans and was not disappointed. We topped it off with a dessert trio and wow Banana Fosters is unforgettable! Byron I assume is a manager passed by a few times during this customized dining experience making us feel extra attended to. All in all definitely a wonderful time and we a very grateful for such an experience. Thank you for helping us make memories.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Eddie V's in Fort Lauderdale and we were so happy with our experience!! Byron was fantastic with his service and attention to detail. Our meal was incredible and the special birthday treatment was very much appreciated. We will surely be back on our next trip to Fort Lauderdale!!

Taylor was fantastic as our server.Ribeye was OK nothing special,lamb tasty but served in an oily base.Crab rice was OK and sirloin with shrimp special was tasteless.

Went for my wife’s birthday. Everything was excellent. We were stuffed and couldn’t stop eating. The seafood was absolutely fresh. The steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Everything was perfectly flavorful. The server was attentive and very kind. I can only say good things about this spot and can’t wait to go back.

My family was on vacation and celebrating one of my daughters birthdays! Time and money well spent. The food was amazing, from starters to dessert and cappuccino. Julian and his team made it an exceptional experience and we all agree, from the 82 year old to the 10 year old, it was our favorite restaurant and Julian was the BEST server! We look forward to visiting again!

This place is crazy expensive but really good. The other problem I see is that its hard to get a table unless you reserve with time.

Eddie V's has quickly become a new favorite for us in Fort Lauderdale. The filets and South African lobster were absolutely amazing, making for a perfect dinner. Our waiter, Brandin, was outstanding—such a nice guy with a great personality. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional dining experience!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! After driving by this place so many times, I’m glad I finally booked a table. Boy was I happy I did! Everything was soooooo good! Amet was our server and he was super on-point! The appetizers were phenomenal. We shared the crab cake and the yellowtail sashimi. Yum! The filets were all cooked to perfection as well as the lobster 🦞 mashed potatoes and Harriet covert! We followed it up with the bananas foster and an aged Cognac. Amet is one of the best servers we’ve had too! He’s incredibly personable and friendly. This might be hands down my new favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!!

My mom and I had been eyeing this place on our Las Olas walks and finally decided to try. The food and service was amazing! We weren't crazy about our seating bc It was right by the server stand but next time we'll ask for a less busy outdoors area. Julian, our server, was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the items, and made some great recommendations. Our carrots were very tasty but could have been a bit more tender. The rest of the food and desserts were A++!!! The spinach was tasty and the salmon was amazing! The truffle mac and cheese is my new favorite! Compliments to the chef!!! We also had a dessert trio of sorbet, chocolate cookies, and butter cake. All were delicious, but the butter cake was our fave so we ordered more! Amazing restaurant!!!

Wine and tuna tartar were great! I got the gin cocktail with basil oil which seemed weird but tasted fabulous!

Young lady who was my waitress can't remember her name but she seemed friendly bubbly and smiles with other people dining just not me It wasn't anything particular she said just the way she spoke to me made me very uncomfortable and I was embarrassed I had my mother in law with me we enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much just not her rudeness I'm sure of that

What can I say about this place, omgosh so many wonderful things! Great food, Exceptional drinks, appetizers and main course was delicious and amazing presentation! Desserts were great, cost a small fortune but definitely worth the experience. Crab fried rice is my new favorite dish!!! Center of Ft. Lauderdale and the whose who location in town besides the Elbow Room.

Took my wife to dinner and was very impressed with the service we got from Jose. He is very knowledgeable and professional knows how to make your experience unforgettable. Manager came over to check on us, nevertheless we raved on how good our service was going with Jose. Maine Lobster tacos were amazing. Chilean Sea Bass was also great. Definitely will return soon to try other great foods on their menu. Eddie V is great you won’t be disappointed.

Yes. A happening place on las olas. Live music 7 days a week. We eat here regularly. High end seafood and meat. Superior to lobster house. Highly recommended. Also a pickup place for the 40+ crowd. Local review by a local for over 50 years. No fluff just the bottom line.

I flew in from Chicago for my boyfriend's Birthday. I made a reservation online and came in on Sunday. The staff left a birthday card on the table. Every person wished him a happy birthday. Julian really did an awesome job with service. I had the Elixir and my boyfriend a Diamond drink. The food suggestions that Julian gave were scrumptious. His service was exceptional. He brought us champagne and a delicious dessert for his Birthday. Would love to come here again!

I had dinner at this place and the food was delicious, the waitress Olga was great! The food was brought to the table very quickly, causing us to feel rushed and overwhelmed. The main dish plates were not warm, and we felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. I recommend ordering one dish at a time and waiting until you finish before ordering the next. Overall, I rated this place lower due to the rushed service.

We had our anniversary dinner here and it was fantastic. Alex was our server and she was phenomenal. Couldn’t have asked for anything else from a service perspective. The drinks and food were top notch. If you’re in the Ft Lauderdale area we can’t recommend this restaurant more.

We celebrated a birthday here on a Saturday evening and it was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was such a sweetheart and took care of us in every way. There was live music and the atmosphere was bustling! The food was beyond delicious. We both ordered fish and vegetables and shared a salad. We definitely over ordered and left stuffed! It was my first time there and the perfect place to celebrate. I can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful meal from start to finish.

DO NOT COME HERE!! Awful experience to say the least. We gave our keys to vallet and when we went back to get our car, the vallet was gone & so were our keys! They left us stranded, 45 mins away from our home without house keys and we were forced to get a hotel because we couldn't get into our home. Not to mention, my father is taking intravenous medication that NEEDS to be administered every 8 hours and because we weren't able to get into our home for HOURS he missed his dosage. The restaurant never called or gave us any kind of warning that they were leaving and TAKING our car keys with them so we were stuck stranded after eating mediocre food for $250 a person. Don't waste your time or your money & pick one of the other 100 nice places to eat in Ft Lauderdale.

HAD AN AMAZING DINNER @ EDDIE V'S FOR MOTHER DAY. FROM START TO FINISH IT WAS A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE. THE HOSTESS WAS VERY SWEET, OUR SERVER KATARINA WAS EXCELLENT WITH SERVICE AND EXPLAINING THE MENU. THE ENTREE'S WERE COOKED TO PERFECTION. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS DELIGHTFUL AND RELAXING.

I went last night for Mother's Day dinner! It was my first time. Made reservations thru Open Table. Everything was great, from the food to the service. They even had Live music playing which made the ambiance even better. For the appetizer we had the lobster bisque. It was so creamy and yummy. For drinks we order a glass of red wine and a patron margarita. The margarita was perfect. For our main entree we ordered the lamb chops and 10oz filet mignon. For the sides we ordered the crab fried rice and the brussel sprouts. The food was delicious!! It did not disappoint. The service was outstanding! Our waitress was great. I highly recommend going and try them out at least once. It's definitely worth it. Just know if you come here get ready to spend $250- $300 for 2 people.

Denise did an excellent job on Mother’s Day for my family. Food took awhile but it was worth the wait, a good server engages with their table and Denise did just that. The atmosphere is great for families and their diverse menu does give options for any age range. Truffle Mac is delicious, scallops, and the shellfish tower and lobster tacos was a hit as well. All in all a great outing for Mother’s Day and I thank the team especially Denise for making it grand.

Came to Eddie V for Mother's Day early dinner. I was not a fan at all. My 14 year old daughter, who absolutely loves steaks from high end restaurants/steakhouses anuch as STK, prime112, Mastros etc immediately asked for A1 steak sauce for her filet mignon. It looked dry and season less and that’s exactly what she said. I ordered the lobster taco , which was okay. My drink was as good I ordered a 24kt. The manager tried to see what else they can do. But she was turned off . When we got our check they still charged for the asparagus which she didnt even touch since she didn’t eat her entree. the waiter was amazing. Overall probably wouldn’t recommend to come here as it’s mediocre .

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. It was our first time here, and it was a wonderful experience. From when you first walk in, the seating hostesses were kind, it was a beautiful restaurant, and the ambiance was great. All the food was delicious (even the portions were surprisingly generous). Most of all, our waiter Jose L. was outstanding! Amazing customer service overall. He was so polite, very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner a special one, Jose! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Greeted with a Happy Birthday, as soon as we went in.I had steak tartare and sea bass and my husband lobster tacos and filet mignon with lobster mashed potatoes. We shared a banana foster. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I was taken here for my birthday, since I loved it so much when I went to the Dallas location. The service was great and they really made my birthday special with complimentary champagne, card and dessert. The service was great, no rush to order, great descriptions and suggestions of things to chose from our server. The ambiance was also pretty good. Downtown can be noisy outside however. But that evening they had live music inside which was great. The food was pretty good also but didn’t meet the standard that the Dallas site set the bar on. I ordered the crab cake to start 10/10, the lamb chops 7.75/10 and we also ordered the Lobster with Filet Minton 8/10 with a side of Brussels 8/10. Will definitely be back!

We have visited Eddy V’s countless times and was very happy with the food and the service. However, tonight within the first 10 minutes was horrible. My water glass literally had food on it as soon as we sat down. My napkin was dirty and then the new glass with new water still had something floating in it. Then, we’ve come after happy hour many times and ordered Rockefeller oysters, but of course this time the chef wouldn’t do that for us either. The waitress Shawna acted as if she could care less. Her delivery about everything was totally off so we decided we would leave when the she returns to our table. As a person who has come here a lot, I will never go back. Highly disappointed. The waitress Shawna brought the drinks. I tell her we are going to leave. She says well I’m still going to bring you the check for the drinks that she hasn’t even poured yet. I respond no problem. Just unbelievable. The waitress is horrible! I said to my husband “she’s charging us for drinks she didn’t pour and we are leaving based on service. She chimes in and says “you said ok”. Really I said ok to refrain from truly giving her a piece or my mind for being so rude. Delivery and service is everything and her delivery was as if she didn’t want us there! I said can you bring the manager with the check, she responding rudely, “oh I already told him!” Matter of factly. He has yet to come and it’s been at least 10 minutes. The quality of service is definitely going down. I am writing this review as I’m sitting here as an effort to calm down with the lack of customer service. She just brought the check for drinks we didn’t touch even though we are leaving based on the lack of cleanliness, attitude and service. Review Update: the manager Leo came and has a great attitude and very pleasant. He apologized. Shook hands. Credited the drinks. Offered a new server and handled the situation very well. The kitchen was closed at Fleming so we stayed. Ahmet is an amazing server. He is here and we’ve had him before. They are making up for it. Meanwhile Shawna never apologized and serving the family in front of us looking mean the entire time. The manager Leo and Waiter Ahmet were truly amazing after all. They get 5 stars exclusively. Ahmet and Leo deserve recognition by the way they turned the entire situation around. I am impressed by the level of their customer service.

I don't know how I haven't experienced the culinary delight of Eddie V's !!! My sister treated me for a late birthday dinner. Much appreciated, THANK YOU SIS. From the welcoming smile of the hostess, to enjoying a cocktail while waiting for her, to watching the bartenders mixing cocktails "showtime". I'll definitely try the Hope Diamond, it looked pretty and delicious. We were escorted to our table, met the floor managers ( I remember George, joke about his name), they greeted us warmly. Our extra ordinary server Ahmet, was FABULOUS!! From his warm, professional and friendly greeting, to his suggestions with a great smile, to and how he professional he remained cause we were talking instead of looking at the menu. We enjoyed on meals, have some good leftovers to take home. We've already spoken to our friends, so we can return for a girls dinner. Too my wife there for her birthday, the food was excellent. The service was par excellence, the salmon melt in your mouth full of flavor, and what can I say about the filet mignon. Excellent place to celebrate a birthday but much more than that. They have pleasant live band after 6pm. What an e experience, highly recommend 👌.

I actually fly in from Ohio to my Miami Beach Condo and take an hour and fifteen minute ride just to dine here in Fort Lauderdale on any special occasion. Why? Because they consistently deliver both exceptional food and service and that is important to me. The ambiance is wonderful as well with the beautiful surroundings and tasteful live music. This is my favorite restaurant by far.

I went for the drink: smoke old fashioned, pretty darn good stuff. I would say they have it down to a science.

I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and it wasn’t bad but it didn’t seem fresh, especially considering the price. The side of broccolini was very good Great staff and service.

We had mixed feelings about this place, here are the pros and cons: Overall the prices don’t match the taste of food. Decor is great, the band was awesome. The crab cake was great, flavor and seasoning was on point. Not too much breading either, just on the outside crust and it wasn’t overly greasy. We would reorder this. Beet salad was mediocre. I personally don’t like sweet sauces but my partner thought it was ok. For my entree, I got crab stuffed jumbo shrimp which looked to me as 4 regular size shrimps. It was repugnant and not enough of an entree portion. My partner got the Chilean sea bass, although the fish was not overcooked, the sweet sauce ruined the dish. And he likes sweet sauces. Waste of a good fish. Potato au gratin, was amazing with right amount of seasoning and cheese. Definitely would reorder. Crab fried rice was regular. Had a little bit of crab on top rice with soy sauce the rest. It also had a little bit mushrooms in the rice, that kind of saved the dish. Overall, it definitely needed more crab and mushrooms. Lobster mashed potatoes looked amazing and tasted very disappointing. It needed a lot of salt and perhaps a lot more cheese and butter in the mash. We called in a week before and only could reserve an outside table. It was very humid and unpleasant, we were celebrating our anniversary but they said they were booked and couldn’t move us inside. Our waitress was amazing. She was attentive, and positive. She gave us two glasses of champagne and a free dessert for our anniversary.

This has to be one of the best restaurants We've been to. From beginning to end, this place is perfect. It's worth every dollar you pay. We ordered the calamari and loved that the breading was light and the tangy sauce was an ideal compliment. The ahí trataré was tasty, and the mild curry sauce wasn't overpowering but just enough to give it a kick. The Mediterranean brazino was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky. The crab cake is one of the best I've ever tasted, it was really full of chuncks of crab. The fried rice with lumps of crab was nice it had a touch of sweetness that an ideal complimented to the other dishes. The lobster bisque was my least favorite, although it was good. To finish off this ideal meal, we shared a Mayer lemon tart that as perfectly balanced, for it wasn't too sweet or too acidic. It was all superb. We loved it! 5* excellent 4* very good 3* good but not consistently 2* It's not worth it 1* Don't even think about it

This was a great first experience dining at Eddie V’s. I had the New York Strip, cookies medium, with a side of Truffle Mac and Cheese. Finished it off with Warm Belgian Chocolate Cake. Gizem was super friendly and provided an excellent level of customer service.
