Really good atmosphere and kratom🙃

Their was only one waitress, so it took very long for my kava and food. But she was apologetic the entire time, I felt bad for her because she was alone and could not keep up. Shame on management for not aiding or sending more staff, that was too much for one person to handle. All in all I will return because she was so friendly; but next time please have someone clean the tables, they were very dirty.

Love this place. Such a chill and friendly crowd.

A bit hectic however overall very positive experience

Had a pleasant experience here. I came in the middle of the day, before the social crowd of a kava bar tends to come in, and I enjoyed sitting down and sipping on a shell while I did emails. Would be happy to recommend to anyone in the area who's interested in kava or kratom!

Karma has a really good atmosphere, meet some interesting people. Haven’t tried the food, but kratom is best in town, kava is good, yet I’m not a big fan of kava. All for good price

This place has a lot of alternative healing events and practitioners. This is overall a much better vibe than a bar however some the newest bartenders really kill the free spirited energy. Alyssa is the best but I go here regularly but started to not like it when I go in the day. I go here with the intention of buying my own drinks and taking them to work because I work at a bar and this gets me through my job without drinking alcohol with other people but sometimes I hang out here. Occasionally I buy other people drinks or people will offer to buy me a drink. In the last 3 months with the new tenders, one of the men that bartends asked this other man (that I drove for free there to introduce them to alcohol alternatives) if “he was sure he wanted to buy me a drink” twice ! I drive people for free without charge so if someone wants to buy me a drink as a “thank you” please stop treating women and people like we are undeserving of someone buying us a drink. Never have I asked someone to Buy me a drink, they offer. Then yesterday my friend asked me if I wanted to split a kratom shot with him and I would not even have wanted one on my day off but I agreed just to drink with my friend as. Courtesy. The bartender later on add half of the shot to my tab… it’s only $5 and not a big deal but it really killed my vibe. If men want to buy women drinks (or women want to buy men drinks) please stop killing the vibe and splitting a half of shot on a tab or asking “how sure a person is” for offering to buy me a drink. To me that is ridiculous, nowhere ever does anyone put a half a drink on a tab. Way to kill the vibes. It’s creates a sad stifling energy when you do that.

will never go here again. had the worst experience ever. overall horrible place to visit. there’s way better kava bars out there with better food and more affordable drinks😂

Really nice vibe, great staff, pretty great "bar food" too. Obviously this isn't a Michelin star restaurant or anything but myself and my fiancee were very pleased with everything. Good spot!

Best kava drinks across the board and beautiful aesthetic. However, the service is mediocre and the heavy metal rock music completely kills the zen, chill vibe. Great place to order and to go. Avoid coming in.

I walked into Karma for the first time last week & since then I've been back several times for the awesome service by James & Ryan, & the best kava in this city ! The cold-brew unbelievable too - hazlenut creamer is mandatory 🔥 Everyone is so welcoming & the parties are >>>. Waited 10 minutes to get service. This was during the day and no one was in there. Got a small kratom drink, and it was half the size becausei didn't want ice because I prefer to drink things roo. Temp and they put it in a super small cup. Not worth $11 dollars. Dave yourself your tike and money and go somewhere else. Ps. There's no free parking, you have to pay just to park near there and get a drink. Place is wack

In general I really like this bar. Ive been here a few times before this and ordered a blueberry mojito from three different bartenders, all of which gave me a kratom shot on the side and they all tasted virtually the same.Then this time, there was another new bartender with bleached hair who made it and gave us our drinks without the shot. When we asked for the shot he said it was already in the drink, so we tried them and they tasted sweeter and less bitter than usual. It seemed like we got no shot at all. The bartender was incredibly sketchy and kept looking around all weird and walking outside a bunch of times. I watched him open a brand new water bottle and pour it out on the ground outside and then throw it away? He kept walking out and looking around sporadically like he was looking for someone. I didnt even want to ask about the shot again because of all the strange looks and behavior. We always get a relaxed atmosphere when we come but the vibe was so off this time. We couldnt get out of there fast enough.

Place is very unique to go to grab special "coffee" brews. The kava I had was bitter but it was pure as I wanted to see what it tasted like. The mixed drinks are delicious and stimulating. Great people and great space to plug in and get some work done 💻

Went there alone after work one night in October 2022. Bartender Ryan was working and we were the only ones in there as it was late. I took it to go after sitting at the bar a second but it was 100% roofied. Thankfully I didn’t drink it till after I parked my car or while I was there. I could’ve been very hurt either way. Took a while to post this but I thought I’d finally let other women know that Ryan is dangerous. Very disappointing and confusing. I drink kava and kratom regularly and am familiar with the effects of it. This was more than just that. Beware.

By far one of my favorite Kava places located in south Florida. My favorite to drink is the passionfruit with Kratom!!! A must try!!!

Went to try this place out and got sick after drinking their Kratom drink. The drink tasted horrible. Hoping it's not food poisoning. Zero stars. I will be sticking with Immunity juice bar in Hollywood, it's cleaner and I never had any issues there

Relaxing experience. Recently, I have really been taking a liking to Kava & Kratom. Karma has a nice atmosphere and a pool table as well. The Thriple Kava had a nice smooth taste. 👌 I will say I wish that you guys carried all the different teas, but my Green w/ mango & strawberry was pretty 🔥

I love chilling at this Kava Bar, they have an island where you can sip your kava or kratom while working or gaming on your notebook, there is a pool table, arcades where I like to play Mortal Kombat and a quite room in the back when you get tired of the noise.

The best lava bar ever. The vibes are unbeatable, the products are strong and all of the bartenders are super friendly. I’m a regular and all the bartenders remember me and my dog and my dog loves them. The space is really open and has a nice chill vibe where everyone is treated with respect

The guy who serves the drinks has the worst attitude ever! And he definitely does not hide it either. Makes you feel like bad for even coming in. After seeing many people in the review’s experiencing the same thing and nothing is done about it tells a lot how much they care about their costumers. This is a place to have good energy and mood but the employee really kills it the minute you walk in.

Will it’s so rude I can’t even other anything in peace, he always have a bad mood and always threat you badly. I can believe they let a bartender like this in a place with so good energy. He is literally ruining the experience of come to karma for me.

This new guy who works as a bartender (he has piercing in his cheek) unbelievable, he is so rude for no reason, always treating you badly and even looking down at you. I really hope they fire this guy, this place it’s not the same anymore.

The guy with the piercing on his cheek and his girlfriend are unbearable, they have the worst attitude in the world and she doesn't work there, I don't understand why she's always getting into everything and generating bad experiences. everything used to be different

It used to be my favorite place, I took all my friends and we had a nice time, but since the man with the piercing in his cheek was there, everything has been chaos, he is the rudest person I know, he ended all the love I felt By karma, I will never recommend this place again and I will ensure that no one returns there. It's a shame, I miss James, Ryan, Mario, even Mark. too sad

The kratum teas taste amazing, the kava is so smooth, and the atmosphere is unmatched. The kavatenders are super sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends or to study during the day.

I hadn’t been to Karma in months, but James the kavatender was able to explain the new menu to me and made sure I had quick and friendly service, despite it being busy. Thanks for making my Karma experience awesome, James!

Came to the bar on Halloween, it was pretty packed but Ryan was killing it behind the bar. The watermelon soda was tasty (at least in kratom terms).

Love coming here to do work. The staff here is great and helpful. Such a welcoming atmosphere. Even when employees come here to hang on their time off, they still take the time to greet you and help you with anything. Mario, the kavatender, knows how to put on good music to get you into your work grind. My favorite drink is the blackberry kratom soda that they have on draft.

Super cool and chill spot. The Kratom tea is out of this world. I personally like the Passion Fruit and Pineapple mixture with the extra Kratom booster. The environment is also very relaxing. There is a pool table, lounge area, bar and even videogames. S/O to James for being extra helpful and down to earth.

Love coming here to read, or do work/reasearch, one of my favorite places due to the dim atmosphere and the way it is decorated, it is very relaxing and soothing, also best happy hour out of all the similar kava places. Music is great most of the time but depends on who is working at the time.

One of the best kava places in Ft. Lauderdale. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and all around great people. The kava, kratom, regular tea, and food are all delicious. The atmosphere is comforting and the vibes are immaculate. Its the type of place where you feel like your family. You can shoot pool, play games, listen to great music, and interact with many interesting people. I recommend this place to everyone.

I love visiting kava bars from around the us. And this is one of the top ones that I've ever visited. And I believe I've done at least 50. The Kratom was delicious. I was told it's brewed with fresh fruit. Fun vibe. Interactive bar tenders.

I almost left a 5 star review because at first this was a cool place to meet friends, work on art, and drink awesome booze free drinks. But because of one of one barista (Ryan), my friend was kicked out after only arriving within 5 minutes, because he hadn't yet purchased a drink. I get that it's a business and we should buy drinks, but I don't get why it has to be rushed within the first 5 minutes. I never once went there and didn't leave without having purchased a drink or few (besides today because I got too upset to). On top of that, Ryan is the ONLY barista that bans my friends and I from working on art. None of the other baristas have been so uptight. If the reason is because someone left a mess, then I don't understand why not tell people if you see them painting to clean up better, or be a person by person basis . I've never left a speck of paint on anyone's table. *Update: I was told I can do art there (in your reply, which I'm not sure how to directly reply to on here. Thanks!). I will definitely change to 5 stars too, once I know for sure we can still do art while Ryan is working
