I hired Chef Marc for a private dinner for a group of 14 friends staying at an AirBnB, and he exceeded all of our expectations! He worked with me to create a New Orleans-inspired menu that was by far the best food we ate during the whole trip — which says a lot considering Nola's great culinary options. He was very professional, pleasant and easy to work with, creating substitutions for a few in our group who don't eat pork. Not only is he a great chef, but Marc and his sous chef left the kitchen cleaner than they found it, and they also had a killer playlist to elevate our party vibes. Highly recommend!

I was in from out of town and hired chef Marc for a private dinner for 16 and it was incredible. He provided a real gourmet experience at our Airbnb, with incredible seafood, salads, and much more. Marc was so professional to deal with and delivered an unforgettable experience. Thank you Marc for making this the highlight of our trip!

Awesome and authentic Colombian food for a great price.

We were in town for a week, spending modestly on food, and this was definitely the most satisfying meal we had all week. Fresh, made with care (love?) and seasoned to perfection. Go here.

I ate here during a trip to New Orleans and it was hands down the best meal I had in the whole 10 days I was there … and we had plenty of great meals, but this place… it’s got soul. You can taste the love! So many delicious options for vegetarians too! I find myself wanting to go back to NOLA just to eat here again. Hope to be back someday soon! Til then, I dream of arepas.

El caimán is one of my favorite spots in the city. Everything is good from there. I usually get the steak plate or chicken plate with a side of patacones. The sauces are on point. The portions are on point. The meat is always delicious. Grateful to have found them.

Delicious and authentic Colombian food located inside an old school New Orleans neighborhood bar. Great atmosphere. Good prices. I happen to know that the head chef knows what he's doing in the kitchen. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a simple yet tasty meal.

As a native Colombian, this place was amazing. Imagine Colombian food with a little bit of creole seasoning. The bandeja paisa was great, the empanadas quite good. I dared to eat the bunuelos with condensed milk (not sure why this was not a thing before)…delicious.

Ive been here 5 times in the past 2 months I've known about this place and it's across town. The chicken is one the best chicken dishes I've ever had. All the food is incredibly fresh and the empanadas are incredible. Their sauces are incredible and the people who run it are awesome. Some of the best food in the city. I can't stop speaking their praises

So good! My partner and I split the meat plate and it was awesome. I love the variety of food you get with it. Affordable too, not many places you can get dinner for 2 for $30 anymore.

The food is always fantastic!!! It’s a must go to when in New Orleans. They know food, especially Colombian food! The restaurant is inside and adjacent to a neighboring bar. The bar is not that great but it’s worth going for the most authentic Colombian cuisine you will find in NOLA. Not fancy just awesome

This place is amazing! It's the only late night food worth getting in the St. Roch/Marigny area. I love the empanadas and the Plato Completo. Marc is an incredible chef, and the bar has a lot going on like live music, karaoke, and bingo. If you're looking for delicious, satisfying food at a good price, look no further. You've found it!
