In my opinion, El Maguey is one of the best restaurants serving fantastic, fresh, authentic Mexican food. We went there for lunch and had enough for dinner. The portions are perfect. This is a small business serving up delicious flavorful food out of this world.

It was a little hole in the wall with very bland food. Was absolutely disgusting. The food was cold. I didn't eat anything.

Food was great! We picked up Togo. Inside seemed nice & comfortable. I didn’t know they were there. Will certainly be back! Definitely worth a try!

if I could give this place zero star, I would But I have to give it one due to this website which is nonsense because this restaurant is worth nothing. As a lot of you know Cinco de Mayo was yesterday me and my wife we’re ready to enjoy some Mexican food. That was definitely not the case we got Mexican fajitas chicken. A bag of chips and white queso. Me and my wife are now both having food poisoning. We have every single symptom. We have been throwing up since eating. We went to the hospital this morning and we definitely have food poisoning. This was the only place we ate, so I definitely do not recommend this place. The food was not even good never coming back here and nobody else either

Love this restaurant Hands down the best in Town

I was always told this place is the best Mexican restaurant in the area and I agree with that, unlike most Mexican restaurants in the area this place has authentic Mexican food at fair prices. I ordered a torta and chips and queso to go and everything was absolutely delicious. The only low point would be the atmosphere, poorly lit and very simple, but the food and service is astonishing 🙌

I made a delivery order which had to pay +7.50 extra,no idea why. They had wrong address I put in 3 times. I ordered pork Tamales, on menu, but was given shredded beef, and put in special instructions onions for salad NO onions. Just disappointed won't order again blend as well.

Meh. Takeout was pretty flavourless. Definitely not a place to dine in either, no vibe at all in the restaurant itself.

My tacos were incredible. Very authentic and made perfectly. The appetizers were great as well. My fiancé and I just moved down the street and I am so happy we found this place. Highly recommend!

Food has been mostly very really good, except one day for early dinner we got take out and it was dried old tortillas on our tacos. But, most of the time really great food! Place could use a little clean up and updating those booths!

Very hard to find an authentic Mexican food in Florida. The Quesa Biria tacos are superb. Brenda always takes care of us and she is Great The rest of their food is just as good. Try the posole and the menudo you will not be disappointed

Excellent food, the prices are reasonable and excellent service to be only 2 people serving tables , the menu is extensive …I have nothing wrong to say and if I had a bad experience I would write it without being disrespectful and just would not go back to the restaurant. Friendly staff, good service but the food is just not what you expect from an authentic Mexican. I’ve been to many places and this place ranks below average for me.

Hubby and I have lived here for 22 years and never stopped into this restaurant! There's plenty of fancy, hip cantinas around which we've been to, but finally we went for lunch on Sunday, 10/15/21. Clean, comfortable and cozy without the hype. Wow! Delicious! I got the Chile Verde, with pork and Hubby got the Steak Burrito Mojado. The staff was welcoming and gracious. We'll definitely be back! SOON!

Hits everything right, fresh food that tastes homemade. The ground beef was out of this world, and the tamale and chilli relleno was fantastic. Clean and very friendly service. The menu has literally everything and the prices are fair for how much food you get!

I ordered takeout. I got chicken, carnitas and steak. All of the meat was bland. Absolutely no seasoning. The steak had a lot of the fat mixed in which wasn’t edible. I don’t like paying for inedible food. The chicken was shredded but it would have been decent had it even been salted. On the positive, the tacos were generous and the homemade corn tortillas were good. Start seasoning your meat and it would be a great taco!

Very nice staff. Was very prompt in taking my carryout order. Flavor wasn't too bad. Was the closest I found to authentic Mexican so far. It's worth giving it a try.

Hidden gem. Coconut flan was as good as it gets. So smooth and creamy. Hot sauce was Smokey and good. Service excellent

Atmosphere is not much. It's located in a small strip mall in Kenneth City on 66th St. Two TV's were playing the news in opposite corners of the room. The upside is that the service and food was very good. Cold beer and really tasty green and red salsa with warm chips was brought out quickly. I had the chile rellenos which were very good. They only offer ones with cheese, but I would love if they offered ones with ground beef or pork. Our dinners came with choices of rice and different beans and really good corn tortillas. I'm not sure if they are handmade in house or not, but the accompanying Mexican grocery store in the same mall had a large cooler full of them for sale. Be sure to check out the grocery store also! I'll definitely go back to try the Carne Asada that I kept seeing come out to other tables.

Such a great family Mexican restaurant. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they accommodated our young kids with no issues. The food was delicious with authentic dishes like enchiladas mole and street tacos, as well as Tex mex burritos and more. Great atmosphere for a casual night. We will definitely be back!

Great fast service and the food is good

It was a slow night around 6:30 and for some reason it took them about 25 minutes to finally take our order. We were the only dine in customers at the time, they spent the whole time working on to go orders and ignored us. Then 2 more parties came in to dine in, yet inexplicably they got their food way before we did. Absolutely unacceptable. They never even apologized for the terrible service. The service was horrendous, I am only giving them 2 stars because the food was actually pretty good. It shouldn't take an hour and 20 minutes for a nacho and a chimichanga!

Always a pleasure eating their cuisine. Staff is super friendly, and food is always fresh and delicious. We can't say anything about dine in as we always order pick up or food delivery. But ordering is simple, and food never disappoints. Very authentic and yummy.

When I crave authentic Mexican tacos I come to this place. Staff is friendly, and their al pastor tacos are boss. I legit crave this place now.

I was craving pozole and was not disappointed! It was delicious. Very good service and our meals were served hot.
