I always drive past this restaurant, stopped by for the first time to pick up some food. Got their pollo asado street taco and asked for their spicy salsa!!! 🥵 Best combination!!! Will be back to try their other items.

Me and my hubby tried this place out for the first time on a Friday around 3. Food was fantastic. We had the buffet. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. All the fixings to make tacos and burritos and more. The cost was $45 after tax. We had one soda one water and two buffet.

Great place, love the food, best tacos I can find in St Pete. -2 stars because they close early OFTEN. DO NOT plan on them being open just because their hours say so.

This place is amazing, the buffet is only available on weekends and it really impressed me, especially the ribs, pork with verde salsa, and sausage with cactus. Wow. Definitely give this place a try. The Al pastor is really good too. :)

Been coming here for years. Used to be 5 stars. I can’t give more than 3 now. Atmosphere was never good but every time they try to improve it, it only gets worse. Most times we get carry out but when we have dined in service wasn’t the greatest, which is odd considering there’s usually not many tables filled. Some items on the menu are consistently good while others have started to go down hill.

They have a buffet. We went at lunch. The food was delicious and a nice variety. The price was also reasonable. I can't remember what time the buffet ends but it starts at 12. If you're near Kenneth City and want a good lunch stop in and enjoy

The buffet was real good. Especially the shrimp, mushrooms, fresh fruit, & the quesadillas. Not busy, service was good & price reasonable, especially with so many choices. Plus, Mexican Coke.

Mexican Buffet. Need I say more? Considering it's for a buffet, the pricing is actually very reasonable, and the food is self-serve. The hot tables seem well-maintained and the food is correctly swapped out when it's been sitting out too long. One of my main concerns in buffets is food hygiene, and the staff here really seems to care about the quality of their food. That being said, their food is AMAZING! You probably will find at least a few favorites here that you can pile on. Do yourself a favor and come hungry.

Stumbled upon this little gem, doing a Google search and a craving for Mexican. It reminds me of the little eateries in Mexico. You can order off menu or do the buffet. We chose the buffet, and was not disappointed. Las comidas muy fantastico y delicioso.

I decided to come here for lunch with my little one before heading to the Tropicana Field team store. I read they served a buffet starting at 11am so we arrived around 11:15am and only one other table was present on this Monday am. The variety of items offered was great as some of my favs were the fajitas, the salsas, rice and some guisados. I did notice they only offered flour tortillas so I asked for corn which they brought. I ordered my son 2 grilled chicken tacos which he loved! There was so much meat per taco, he only ate one! I also had an aqua de horchata as my beverage as well. I will say everything tasted fresh as we were on the early side. I don’t how “fresh” items would taste sitting in the heating pan for several hours. The staff was super friendly and there’s enough parking available.

There are few Hispanic food buffet places, and this is one of them, Mexican food buffet. I liked it and so did the soups.

It was closed even though it said open I been wanting to stop by. Always hesitant. Mostly because there is never any cars in their parking lot.

Tamales, Maduro and pork in tomatillo sauce were EXCELLENT!! Kind of hard to justify for $16 for the buffet, the rest was of the items provided were sadly run-of-the-mill. They do offer Mexican Coke though! So, it's the little things 😍

My girlfriend & I went there for dinner on Good Friday. I ordered the the camerones a la diabla, while she went for the buffet. My meal came out looking exactly like a menu photograph. The shrimp were plump & juicy, and of good (medium) size. The sauce was spicy, but delicious. The side of refried beans were creamy, and the yellow rice was fluffy & good. My girl had various items from the buffet. She let me try one of the pork-in-sauce items, and the meat was good. She said the chicken quesadilla was a little dry, but tasted good (she actually got up for a second helping on those). Our lone server was very pleasant & prompt, but then again there were only three other people in the restaurant when we were there, and two of those had the buffet. The decor is an eclectic mix of old Mexico, American SW, and autographed pictures of various celebrities. A little confusing, but fun. Simply having more patrons would add an agreeable "buzz" to this restaurant, which, judging by the quality of their food, would be well deserved.

This place has great food a little mild for me but all in all the food was delicious and no complaints here it is definitely a must to try this amazing food to eat and taste for yourself.. I only recommend places that are worthy to eat at. If not, I don't say anything bad about restaurants. I just never leave a comment or review at all. When I comment , it has caught my attention and is worthy to recommend. I like I always say this is still my opinion so you must try for yourself and make your own judgment. This place has some awesome crunchy tacos, burritos and quesadillas. We also love the horchata drinks that they serve. They have a variety of Mexican food which I'm sure you guys are gonna love.

I had the buffet for my first time here and loved every part of it. Everything had a authentic homemade taste. My favorite was the extra hot xxx green salsa, wasn't too spicy for me but the taste was out of this world. Definitely coming back soon! 👍

First time going here for lunch around 2:30pm on a Friday. Not busy at all, and the service was top-notch and plenty of space to sit. The decorations make it very close to the "real feel" of an actual restaurant one would encounter somewhere in Mexico such as on Isla Mujeres! There was a very good selection of foods across the 3 buffet stations to select from. All you can eat for $16/person seems like an excellent price! I tried several different foods including some of the soups and appetizers such as hot jalapeno poppers and corn fritters. The pulled chicken and the steak & potatoes was very good and I had seconds. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious, very flavorful and the meat came right off the bone. So good! We made some nachos and loaded them up with several of the various toppings including fresh guacamole and queso dip. Be careful, the hot salsa is definitely hot... even for my taste and I love heat! They even had homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We will DEFINITELY be back again soon!

Coming from someone that grew up in a Mexican household, it was great to see all of my favorites at this Mexican buffet. The value you got here can’t be beat, food is excellent (just like how mama makes it) and the ambience is so nice. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. A Mexican buffet is unheard of and this one is a definite winner. The tamales were delicious. The chorizo was very flavorful. The apple chimichangas were absolutely delicious and you can tell they care about quality.

Great chicken burrito, so big it could feed two people.

Disappointing at best. Wife had watered down wine, her chicken tacos were old greasy beef - so greasy that they doubled up on the crunchy taco shells & they still ended up soggy! No cheese on them, just runny sour cream - probably got watered down also... My steak was bland & dried out. No seasonings at all on any of our meal which was weird for a Mexican restaurant. I think they just used whatever was left over from the lunch buffet. It was also stupid to charge us more for using card instead of cash, there was nothing posted or noted anywhere about this. Besides that's a standard operating cost. Who ever heard of adding 'fees' onto a meal? C'mon this isn't the airport.....

I always end up at the Buffett. Tons of interesting things to look at in the building from cars to different tribal statues! The service is always great. The food is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! From what I’ve read it’s authentic but what is authentic. Anyways the guac is always fresh and for some reason whenever I go in it’s never packed. Recommend trying this place out atleast once, price is cheap for what you get.

This is the only Mexican buffet that I’ve ever found - I wish they were more common. The food is very good and there’s a lot to choose from. The guava juice is my favorite! Decent price for what you get

Not sure if this is really a great spot or not. We went for dinner on a Friday night around 5:00-5:30. We were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. I don't know if this means they are a bad restaurant, or if we were just there at the wrong time. We got the buffet and I must say that I believe most of the food had been sitting there for a while. Some items seemed fresh, but most were either dried out or hard. We were seated right away, and the waitress was very attentive. We did not have to wait for refills on our drinks at any point. I think it's a bit pricey for the quality of food that was on the bar. There was a big selection, but like I said, most of it was dried out or hard. We live east of Tampa, so it's not a restaurant I would make the trip for again unless I knew the food would be fresh. It has a good Mexican atmosphere. Overall rating is a 3.

Good food but lacks on paying attention to drinks. I had to get up many times to ask for my drink to be refilled. For the price we pay for the food, I would have expected the service to be better.

The price for the buffet is pretty good. The food is a step above your normal buffet. The only real negative is, no A/C(or at least it doesn't feel like it.) That and a mosquito problem. I've gone twice, probably a year or 2 apart but without fail, I have a mosquito attacking my while I'm eating the entire time. Overall, I say give the place a shot for lunch buffet, 16.99 isn't bad to be able to fill up on tacos lol.

Got the buffet. I enjoyed the options and freshness of the food. The only downside is they bring out small quantities at a time hence the freshness and I'm sure it cuts down on waste.

This place was good 4 years ago now all the food taste like chemicals and they don't make the food how you like even if you repeat it.

We came at an inconvenient time between lunch and dinner. Buffet needed replenished but they were happy to accommodate. Buffet was great for all you can eat tacos.. Food could use more Spanish seasoning or something though.

Food was dry from sitting out for hours and they didn't replenish anything except for what the staff wanted to eat. Might be better with a full buffet but doubtful we'll go back again $35 for lunch drinking water and not leaving with a happy full belly can be spent somewhere else but had to give it a try.

Good food on a buffet - so, it being our first visit, we got to sample several things. I’m definitely having the crunchy tacos next time. Meats were tasty, good plantains and sauces. We’re happy and will be back.

Went last year mid week was pretty good, today went on Saturday. There was plenty of choices but the prices have gone up to 16/19 weekend. For me the hot food was just warm and I prefer it hotter. The carnitas and Spanish rice was very good, the soup was hot and various salsa and pico and guacamole was on buffet. Overall nothing to rave about but it was acceptable. P.S. there is also a menu to order food if you don't like buffets.

I've seen this restaurant for years and never went in till this weekend. Nice surprise for a local authentic Mexican restaurant! Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but it's actually a large open space inside and nice atmosphere. Smells delicious too. The decor is nice and colorful. Lots of tables. I was surprised to see they also offered a Mexican buffet with lots of variety. For $16 weekdays and $19 on the weekends, it's a great deal that you just can't go wrong with. Make your own loaded chips with assorted toppings, salsa and queso sauce, create tacos, fajitas, and enjoy lots of other delicious offerings and Mexican sides that are continuously refilled by the cooks. My only gripe... we really wanted a margarita, and they will make you one with white wine since they don't have a liquor license. It was terrible, I don't recommend it whatsoever. Very bitter and tart. Service was pleasant but she got busy and didn't come back to refill our drinks. We went to the counter and they were refilled for us. Will definitely go back for a visit!

Don’t listen to the 1 star reviewer. I wish I found this spot sooner! What a beautiful Mexican restaurant with an amazing buffet! You feel like fajitas and a chicken wing? You got it! You want to make a tostada and put cheese sauce on top? Sure! So many options! I loved it! Sangria was also good, I will go back during bogo happy hour 3-6pm. I thought he price was reasonable for the quality, freshness and abundance of choices. The video I added is a Mexican pizza I made out of tostada shells!

The decorations inside are amazing and the music is nice it's a nice uppity vibe and their food is very good they have very good food I love the horchata cactus is immaculate I definitely recommend. Sorry for empty container lol delicious at least I could show these amazing tacos no filter.

Always authentic Mexican food. I always order from the menu, but they do have a buffet.

The tamales were excellent, the rest of the buffet was simple but good. A decent selection of pictures, meats, and other toppings. The decor was pure Mexican camp, luchadores, Aztec lore, and Mexican heroes of folklore and such. Even saw a framed Homies collectables poster. For the price, give it a visit. The only downside was the weak A/C.

If you never been here before, you need to RUN here now! Especially for the buffet and the agua frescas! The location is not where’d you’d expect such a great spot to be. This restaurant is quite festively decorated with banners of legendary musicians around. The buffet sealed the deal for me. It was the fact that it had soups that reminded me of grandmas, traditional dishes of all proteins, offers lightly fried guilty pleasure sides, and even has fresh ingredients and salsas available for you to make your own soft, hard shell tacos or nachos, and last but not least the ceviche is super fresh and delicious. I washed mine down with melon agua fresca and i was elated! 1000/10 would recommend! Oh yeah bring $19 dollars cause that’s the buffet cost and totally should be more.

Reasonable price, really, really good food and service. Nice and friendly restaurant. They have 'agua fresca' and good variety in the buffet. I am not local, but I will be back one day.
