Best Peruvian food in town, with reasonable prices!! Staff is courteous and attentive as well! Don’t miss out on coming here.

The food is delicious- I shared the “cena para dos” which included 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was tasty. I especially liked the lomo saltado. I had a pisco sour to drink and it was great. The folks working there are friendly. The space itself has a lot of personality- large murals on the walls, some faux palm trees, a couple alpaca figures. It was an overall very enjoyable experience.

Very good attention, very rich peaks. Generous dishes. We ordered a grilled chicken, it took a while but it was very good. The wait was worth it. We will return 👍

Wow, what a place. Above the food being so delicious the customer service was phenomenal. Great friendly staff that even though it was packed for mothers day the staff was courteous and attentive. But let me tell you about their Pisco Sour one of the best I’ve had in Chicago. We also ordered Anticuchos de Corazón a well seasoned beef heart skewer that you can’t put down. We then had the ceviche clásico another delicious plate that will take you to the Peru. Finally we had the Seco de cordero another delight that is so soft it just falls off the bone. I will definitely be coming back as not only is the food amazingly delicious but the service is great. The owner kept coming up to us to make sure we were good and recommending dishes. A ten star place if possible.

We drove 1 hr 45 mins because we heard they had the best Peruvian food, but we had the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WERE VERY VERY RUDE just by asking for one more chair for a kid.

BAD service, asked for an extra chair and the Manager refuse to gives us one and said if you guys want to stay or you could leave wanted to seat 2 in one chair

Paella Lobster was overcooked and there was no meat on it. They only put 4 shrimps and chicken was hard. 🤨 Over 14 years that I have been going there this is the first. They even had the nevers to charge us a COVID fee 😡

This is THE place to go if you want good quality food that tastes just like mom's. Both dine in and delivery portions are plentiful, delicious, and served with care. The only "bad" thing is having to find parking but that's just the north side. This place is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in the city, and the one I recommend to people who want to try authentic Peruvian food. Worth the money.

Came in with my brother earlier today, their lomo saltado was fantastic. My brother had beef, I had chicken and they were great. Also the restuarant had a cool atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here.

Amazing food. The empanadas, the steak, the lamb.... All incredible. We've been in the neighborhood for a few years and I'm disappointed this is the first time we've tried this place. We will be back though for sure!

I just had a party here recently and due to travel and miscommunication and the bad weather this past Saturday some of my family came early. Traffic was horrible. They told me when they arrived the owner was completely rude to them and instead of offering to let them sit inside out of the rain, mind you one of my relatives is disabled with leg braces and a cane, he made them stand under the awning. When I arrived they told me what happened and I told my husband to have them come inside and he denied kicking them out. If it wasn’t for already having paid I would have left. Second I was specifically told the food would be out at 2:00pm and then I’m told the food is getting cold and people should eat. I was happy my mom enjoyed her party but I won’t be back. Then he was upset a balloon got caught in a fan and it was so hot. I don’t understand how you have parties here and don’t have central a/c or tell people we don’t allow balloons I waisted $40 on them for nothing. Either way he never apologized or offered a discount but his son did say sorry. I think his son should take over. I’ve been a manager and director in restaurants for over 14 years and that’s not how you treat people. You’re a reflection of your business especially if you are the owner and a large group can have a negative impact on future business. I don’t understand how some people think they can just treat people so disrespectful and it not come back around to them. Also reading how the owner replies to his reviews and cannot take constructive criticism and feedback just shows how unprofessional he is. He should take a lesson in humility and it was so inappropriate to take about his upbringing and being taught by Castro that was super offensive to my guest and hearing it as a Cuban American and what that dictator did to the people is Cuba. La comida es increíblemente deliciosa, probamos el ceviche mixto y es fresco y sabroso. El lomo salteado se derrite en tu boca, los choros a la chalaca una delicadeza para cualquier paladar. Y las empanadas de otro mundo. Flan os ok. Food is incredibly delicious, we had the ceviche mixto and it’s fresh and tasty, Lomo salteado us so soft and tender it melts in every bite, choros a la chalaca are an amazing flavor for any mouth. And the empanadas are out of this world. Flan is ok. Don’t be disappointed to wait for your food because it’s fresh and worth the wait.

Delicious locally owned restaurant, that not only gives you fresh to order food but also personable service! I dined with my family and every dish that we ordered blew us away not only in the quality and how perfectly cooked the meats were, but a flavor that I personally found to be indescribably good! The staff is very attentive and obliging, and the owner is cheerfully and personable. It was very much an experience that was worth it not only in the food but also how we were received. I would highly recommend the restaurant as I will be bringing more family and friends back! Loyal customer for almost 30 years. It's my favorite place for peruvian food. Sad to see business declining as new trendier places pop up but always glad to eat there and support a small family business. And we are always happy with our food.

El pésimo restaurante que fui. El mesero de muy mal humor aventando las cosas. Se tardaron mucho tiempo en atendemos, y nunca se aparecieron a preguntar si queríamos algo más. El bussboy oliendo a marihuana, la comida la trajeron más fría que la pata de un muerto. Y para colmo, nos cobraron 100 dólares de propina. Porqué nos trajeron comida de más que nunca ordenamos. Ahora entiendo porque está solo tan solo que ni las moscas se paran por ahí.

What a great Peruvian restaurant. Just had dinner here and everything we tried was tasty and flavorful. Please visit this restaurant located in a wonderful neighborhood. We will be back to try the soup when it gets a little colder outside. Thank you for great food and great customer service.

Very local place. Peruvian ex pats go there. Food was reasonable and authentic. Ceviche was the best thing we ate. The rest was tasty but a bit bland. They did have a mustard sauce that was spicy and outstanding.

Acabamos de salir de este restaurante y sinceramente, no tiene nada de sabor peruano!!.El arroz con Mariscos sin su característico color rojizo, los mariscos sin sabor. Los tamales parecen tamales salvadoreños con jalapeño adentro. El lomo saltado con cebolla blanca! . Arroz chaufa estaba pasable. El seco nada que ver. El tallarín verde no tenía sabor a pesto. Lo único que estaba rico es el chupe de camarones y el cau cau de Mariscos. El mozo muy buena atención.

Excelente, 2nd time back in Chicago and I had to comeback to eat here. The food is delicious. The PISCO SOURS are awesome with real PERUVIAN PISCO and not like other restaurant in FLORIDA who make them with other cheap liquors.

The food is great however the service is not good at all. You wait an hour and 32 minutes for good. No one comes to check on you. No napkins just throws your food at you and walks off. Poor service. Especially after driving 17 hours to get here because of previous years was amazing.

First things first - you HAVE to try the house Borgoña wine. It’s sweet, smooth and sugar-free! I had such a lovely experience here. The food came quickly. I highly recommend the Arroz con Mariscos, the Ceviche con crema de Ajies was to die for and the Tallarines Verdes was authentic as can be. Can’t wait to visit again and try different dishes!

I’ve been here a few times, service is always good and the food is great! Every time I’ve been, it’s been pretty empty. Would love to see more people giving this place a chance! Recommendations: the Peruvian red wine (can’t remember the name)- sweet but not too sweet, really good; arroz con pollo- flavorful, chicken is moist and delicious; tallarine verde con milanesa; and arroz con mariscos- all delicious!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Because my ex was Peruvian, we tried a lot of Peruvian places a few years back, and both of us agreed that this one was the best, hands down. I've been back many times and it still has yet to disappoint. Try the pollo à la brassa, which is to die for, or the ceviche, which is amazing as well. They now support delivery, which I don't believe they had before the quarantine. Five stars!

Wonderful service, they got a variety of Piscos you can select. There's some wonderful murals on their walls as well as decorative items that matched the atmosphere for both Peruvian and Brazilian.

Peruvian here - this is one of the best places in Chicago for traditional Peruvian food! Absolutely love their Jalea and Parihuela!

Undeniably delicious Peruvian and South American dishes. I had been craving Lomo Saltado for weeks and the one from Rio’s certainly sated that desire.

I take my wife there every Valentine's day and it doesn't get old, family operated business, owner's are super cool and staff is fantastic, Love the food and music is great, and music is high enough to hear and be able to carry out a conversation 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
