Had been eyeing the Instagram account debating trying here for a bit… already had a favorite spot in the food court! We got the taco sampler but had a hard time deciding. Al Pastor notable :) the pico was very fresh. Impressed the veggie tacos had a range of veg to them and generous guac, small feedback would be to build the roast to the veg or add some more seasoning. Horchata sweet (son enjoyed) and lemonade tasted fresh. Will come back.

Amazing food and the staff are great

Passing through the area looking for something other than a chain restaurant we were surprised to find ourselves in a mall. My husband had both the chicken (chopped, grilled, and moist) and the carne asada (tender, flavorful) street tacos. The tacos were divine. I had nachos, which did seem to have that American nacho cheese stuff. I wish I'd gotten the tacos. Great place!

Gosh, I feel so bad leaving a bad review because the older man who I presume to be the owner was so nice and clearly wanted me to have a good experience… But I paid $15 for some of the worst nachos I’ve ever had. Like - I would have preferred to make them at home or eaten Tostitos and some jar queso. The meat was super under seasoned and dry and the dish as a whole just fell totally flat. I ended up not even finishing it, which is rare for me. Maybe my biggest mistake was thinking nachos in a mall food court would be a good decision. Either way, don’t have too high of expectations for this place. I’m shocked that it has 4.9 stars.

I definitely recommend the loaded nachos. For the price, you will get more than you can handle!

I just came back from California for a vacation and this made me feel like I never left. So good.

They ran out of steak at 7:30 and she made some fresh for me. We both had the 4 taco sampler it was amazing. Highly recommend it.

If you told me the mall food court had some of the best tacos around I would have laughed. That is until I tried this hidden gem. I had a Carne Asada and an Al Pastor street taco in my 2 taco combo plate. Both were excellent and the rice and beans were both on point. There was a young woman with a great voice singing along with a guy on guitar. A great and unexpected experience.

These tacos are delicious!!! I got Al pastor, chicken, and carne asada. My girlfriend got a quesadilla and it was huge. Way too good to be in a mall. Everyone who worked there was so nice too.

Every time when I go to Solomon Pond Mall, like today, I can't help but stop by these wonderful people. The food here is great and the portions are big. I have not met such friendly people for a long time. They will definitely cheer you up and ask how your day was. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant, incredibly cool people work. I like Quesadilla and Burrito here the most, it is unreal tasty and very easy to satisfy hunger. Thank you for having such good people working there. I will be your regular customer from now on.☺️☺️☺️

We went out of our way for some top rated tacos. Completely worth finding the food court for this food in old mall. Friendly, fast and authentic. We had tacos with side of rice and beans. The portion was generous. Home made food, fresh, and delicious.

My family and I always visit El Sombrero Taqueria when we are wanting great tacos. Love the fact that is family owned. I highly recommend it.

Amazing food, and service is great! Portions are big, so much better than Chipotle and Qudoba, if you want real genuine Mexican cuisine choose this place!!

Wonderful service every time I come here no matter who it is. They put in an effort to make the customers happy. The food is awesome and never tastes any less. They are very consistent, I will always come back. Lope was very helpful with what i wanted. 11/10 I recommend the carne asada, or chicken al pastor.

Sombrero Taqueria is a hidden gem in the Solomon Pond Mall. The food is delicious and the service is unreal. The workers are so friendly, that in those few minutes of interactions, you can really feel the authenticity, family-like feel to this little company strives for. So great. 10/10

Really fresh & flavorful. Super helpful with menu questions & offered to make me 1/2 order of loaded chicken nachos with extra hot sauce on the side. Delicious. Highly recommend!

An amazing hidden gem! I got dinner on a whim after shopping and WOW. Large portions, great taste and all prepared fresh in house. Very busy on the weekends but if you can get an order you won't be disappointed

Wonderful food, great family business!

The food was delicious! But the reason I’m giving it a 4 star and 3 star in service is because I was charged for a pickup order that I cancelled. I don’t believe it was done on purpose, but it’s been difficult to get ahold of them. And when I did, they said the only person who could do cancellations and refunds wasn’t there. I don’t have the energy to keep calling, especially during busy hours. I have tried contacting them electronically with no response. But even with this experience, I would still order from them again. I would just make sure my plans were firm before ordering so I don’t have to go through this again.

This place is a hidden gem. The proprietors are very friendly and they really care about the food they are preparing. I had an Al Pastor bowl and we also tried some street tacos. I highly recommend those, but I’ll most certainly be going back to try some other things on their menu.

They're all very friendly and make sure you get exactly what you want, also they're not stingy on their meat when they make tacos they load it up so it makes the price worth it 💯 Definitely will go back again next time I visit the mall. Best real Mexican tacos between Worcester & Boston. Unreal that this is in a mall good court, and that Horchata, OMG, blessed!!!

Went into the mall today just to try this place. I was very impressed by the quality of food here and I’ve tried most of the Mexican Resterant’s around this area. The owner Leo is also extremely friendly and generous. We will definitely be going back for more delicious Mexican food.

My favorite place to eat! Every lunch break I go here. The staff is kind and the owner is an amazing sweet person :) everyone there wants people to be taken care of and it’s very sweet. The food is awesome too. Definitely worth it.

It's a mall people. Plain and simple. And yet they deliver restaurant quality/home cooked wonderfulness you would have at your favorite aunt's house (assuming your tia can make her corn tortillas fresh and everything is scratch made with the best ingredients!). It's fast food that isn't served too fast. It's served RIGHT. The right temperature, flavor, piled generously with meats or veggies, lovely toppings (cilantro, perfectly chopped onions...). High on the delicious scale. Higher on quality and the loving craft that goes into making food that tastes like food - simple, clean, straighforward home-cooked food. I am a fan of both the al pastor and steak street tacos, but I am known to crave their refritos. My son swears by their al pastor quesadillas. Some of THE BEST in the metrowest! Admittedly I can’t remember the last time I’ve eaten in a mall so my expectations were Chinese food or pizza. I was really happy to get a filling and fresh veggie taco here! The service was excellent, friendly and they payed attention to the details. Even for 1 veggie taco! Atmosphere is 1 star cause I don’t love malls. (Here to charge my car) If this were a sit down restaurant I’d be back for sure.

Went there today specifically to try something new. Last time I had the nachos and they were perfect. This time I got two chicken street tacos and the chicken burrito bowl. Fabulous just doesn’t describe how good this place is. Had a nice talk with the owner today and he was amazing. Thank you for the delicious authentic taste and flavors.

Who would have thought the best Mexican restaurant around us in a mall food court. The quality, quantity and value of the food is unsurpassed. Street tacos are perfection you can’t go wrong with any flavor of those. Now the Loaded Nachos has to be the greatest ever, but be warned you can’t eat it with your hands. There is so much to these you need to eat with a fork. This place is the best place around if you are looking for fresh ingredients made better than you have ever had.

My husband and I stopped at the food court last week for what we thought would be a couple of 'run of the mill' tacos as a quick snack while we shopped, but that's not what we got -- this food is exceptional. Terrific crispy, fresh corn shells (excellent because I eat GF) with really great rice and refried beans. We each had a combo plate (chicken and steak tacos) and it was top notch. Very friendly staff who chatted with us and made us feel good about supporting a hardworking, family business, with excellent food. Worth a trip by itself even if you're not mall shopping!

Absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, the food was cooked fresh, and we will be taking the 40 minute drive back to enjoy the chicken tacos.

Authentic Mexican food for sure. I’m originally from Texas so i can be I’m very picky when it comes to Mexican food. When I want a little a taste of home, I’ll definitely be going to El Sombrero Taqueria! Leo the owner is the sweetest man. I highly recommend going to Solomon Pond Mall for Mexican food.

For a food court fast food restaurant This place was delicious! Traditional Mexican Food from Jalisco. Generous portions with I highly recommended this legitimate Mexican restaurant, experienced great flavor. From the taco to the pozole, the birria and the pastel de 3 leches transported me to Mexico. This is a family business where you can feel the love and dedication they pride in their cooking. Using their great grandmother’s recipes. Modestly priced for the portions they serve and plenty of meat. They have the original French freys with meats bowl. Very tasty.
