Best birrias I’ve had, ever! The homemade drinks are delicious! I had pineapple and the mango was also good.

Very good food, all delicious and the service of those who serve is very friendly.

This is easily one of my top three taco spots! I keep coming back to El Tio Mexicano whenever I’m craving some messy, flavorful, and juicy tacos. This food truck consistently impresses me with amazing food at an unbeatable price. Honestly, their food rivals most of the Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. However, during my last visit, the meat was a bit drier than usual—not sure what happened. But I’m still giving them five stars and hoping the food quality stays top-notch! 💪🏻

I don't even live in Tallahassee but will stop if it's on my driving path just for this amazing food! The Torta Ahogado is loaded, the Birria is so flavorful, and the ceviche de Camarron is so incredibly refreshing. I wish these guys were in my backyard I would never grow tired of this food. Also always extremely friendly.

Classic Mexican truck with some picnic tables, this is a great stop for a quick bite. Some of the fattest tacos I’ve ever seen, the meats were all grilled well, and salsas were pretty good too. The meat seasoning left a bit to be desired, especially the pastor which didn’t really have the pineapple/sweetness that I’m used to out west.

My best meal in Tallahassee. It was worth it finding this food truck. Ordered the most amazing birria tacos. You know it's good when you find yourself drinking the birria sauce straight from the cup, no judgement.

I got the carne asada and it was delicious. Nice size portions, flavor was good. Hot sauce (the red one) was LEGIT. Staff was fast and friendly. Zero complaints. Will definitely go back. Would love to see more options on menu.

We went again for Cinco de Mayo and loved it. We were able to get a table outside, and although it started raining a little, we were situated fine. I had the taco salad this time, but I didn't enjoy it much. That won't stop me from visiting again, I'll just try something else 🤭

People taking the orders were awesome, and the food was even better. Great prices and customer service. High quality food. Highly recommend!

One of the best IF NOT THE BEST Mexican food trucks to go to in tallahasee. Everything on the menu is a banger. I always go for the traditional burrito and a street chicken taco and it’s always $10! That’s such a steal, the owner is a great guy and I’ve never had an issue with the staff

Came here for the first time and ordered 12 tacos. We found 3 hairs in between the meat in the tacos. Called the place to just let them know to be careful about that, and the manager got offended and implied that we were not telling the truth.

And don't even get me started on their street tacos – they're so authentic, you'll swear you've been teleported to the bustling streets of Mexico City. But wait, there's more! The carne asada is grilled to perfection, so juicy and tender it practically melts in your mouth. With every bite, you'll be shouting '¡Viva la comida!' Trust me, once you try El Tio Mexicano, you'll be saying 'adios' to every other taco joint in town. ¡Buen provecho!

Not happy at All! I spent $31 today and my burritos were nothing but a bunch of rice and a very small amount of tough steak fat that I couldn’t even eat. The quesadilla was made with a small amount cheese and tough fat meat. 🙁

This food truck is literally the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life!!! I always order so much of their options including the Burrito California, quesa Birria, street tacos, supreme tacos, horchata, etc. everything is outstanding and I always go at least 3 times a week lolll! Super friendly and understanding. I attend FSU and I wish I could bring them with me when I'm out of town:) none of this is an exaggeration😁

If I’m being honest, I still haven’t forgiven y’all (social media) for the way y’all overhyped birria everything, but BAAAAAYBEEE, they must have marinated that meat in baby Jesus tears. They very clearly took their time cooking the meat and would cook larger restaurants under the table. Everything was absolutely perfect. It was so good, I was putting the empty box in the bag before I seen the consommé. I never really needed it. Super friendly, great service andand offered to help answer questions. I would absolutely be back.

I placed an order and needed to cancel. I called the restaurant 2 minutes after placing the order and explained what happened. The worker said he would contact the manager to see if I was able to get a refund. He then told me the manager approved the refund. I waited for the refund and never got it. I contacted them again to ask and they told me to call back at 9 when the manager was there. I called back at 8:55 and no one answered. I called back the next day and was told he needed to contact the manager again for the refund. I asked why wasn’t it processed when I first called and was told they are human. I asked to speak to the manager myself and was not allowed to and was just told the manager would get back with me. I waited a week patiently for my refund and was met with nothing but rudeness and vague answers and still no refund. I will have to dispute the charge since I did not receive my money back or my food and will never deal with this establishment again.

I can type all day about this amazing hidden gem I literally eat here at least 5-6 times a week lol From the Birria Tacos to the Burritos everything is amazing!! And of course customer service is on point!! I highly recommend this place! Make sure to grab a Horchata its so refreshing!!

I would have to agree with what most people have said. And yes There birria tacos are to die for. I got 3 birria tacos and 5 asada street tacos. So good. Great hospitality. Gotta try this place out. And I'm a over the road truck driver. So I've tried many. This one is a must. Will stop here again on my way through.

My favorite place to eat in Tally :,) they are so nice and sooooo good every time. I used to live down the street and would get a burrito or birria twice a week. I since moved but I still make it weekly. They will always be close to my heart!

This restaurant/food truck is the BEST! Excellent customer service, delicious food, and they have great hours of operation. I placed my order one time online and the second time in person. Each time, the order was correct and the food was delicious. I had shrimp ceviche and my niece had Birria Tacos. I tried the Horchata drink and it was good too.

I just got the burrito California and a Corn Quesabirria, it is just the best food that I have ever tried, really recommend this place, good food, good service and good prices. Definitely I would go again!

The food was delicious! I had ceviche and my niece had Birria Tacos tacos. The ceviche had large pieces of shrimp and was full of flavor from the lemon/line juice & spices. It had fresh pineapple pieces, Cucumber, and a hint of jalapeño. They even gave the option of tortilla chips or crackers to accompany it. My niece said the Birria Tacos were perfectly seasoned. They were large and filling. The gentleman at the window was friendly and verified my order to make sure it was complete & correct.

This is some of the best food I've had since moving to Tallahassee, and easily the best Mexican food. Staff was friendly and the torta was incredible. Ask for it spicy and it will be perfect. This gal will be going back regularly from now on!

I've quickly become a regular at this eatery, based entirely on how consistently excellent the food has been, each and every time I order from them. The folks are friendly, the food is well-portioned, and I honestly couldn't think of going anywhere else for a good Torta Ahogada in the city.

I tried their steak quesadilla yesterday. As I took my first bite, all the cells in my body began dancing. The flavor was impeccable. Hands down the best quesadilla I've had in my life. Their hot sauce was also delicious and enhanced the flavors. The customer service was amazing, and you can feel that the workers love what they do. I will definitely be back again.

My husband and I have eaten at El Tio Mexicano several times, and their food is fresh and delicious! Try their ceviches, burritos, street tacos. Everything is absolutely DELICIOSO. You will feel you are in beautiful Mexico as soon as you savor their exquisite dishes. Drop by and you will return.

Best Birria Tacos I’ve ever had! First time trying this place and they didn’t disappoint.

After seeing so much hype over the berria quesa, had to try for myself. All I can say now is: ¡HOLY GUACAMOLE, INCREIBLE!

The food is excellent. Especially Quesabirria. Location could be better, however really worth to try.

I don't post quite often, but when I do, I mean it. The food is great and so are employees. It's definitely our go-to place.

My go to order is a birria quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. Make sure you get a side of salsa verde.

Listen, I live on the whole opposite side of town, passed the Walmart on Apalachee and I ALWAYS drive to El Tio for tacos. There’s a taco truck 5 minutes from me but nope. I drive 20 minutes to El Tio. The meat is ALWAYS juicy, the staff is always nice, the horchata is SO good, they have the BEST birria in town I’m not kidding. The burrito california is delish (they always sub the tomatoes and lettuce with cilantro and onion for me with no problem), and the ceviche is SOOOO good. My only suggestion would be to double tortilla the tacos because the meat is SO juicy that the shell falls apart when you get home and you sometimes end up eating your tacos with a fork.
