I had the carnitas burrito! Not only was the burrito big but it was fantastic! The meat was delicious!!! Tortilla was soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside!!! I will definitely eat here again!

It's a small place inside a strip mall, it's not going to have the best ambiance... What it does have is fantastic food and friendly staff.

Great little place I stumbled across while doing errands in the area. I ordered 2 burria queso tacos for a very reasonable price. Service was a little slow but worth the wait! I'll definitely visit to try out other items.

Owners are super nice and the food is legit. Right now this is my favorite burrito around the Clackamas area. Keep up the good work!

The food was incredible. We ordered steak and carnitas tacos, chile relleno burrito, and asada nachos. Wow. Definitely coming back.

Visiting from out of town and had the machete - house made corn tortilla with chicken, cheese and cilantro. I want the tortilla recipe, I promise I won't sell them! I got a side of beans. Huge portions, food was hot, they laid out their fresh house made salsa trio for us. Service was great. Cute place with nice decor and music on point. So refreshing after a long flight to start our adventures.

The Machete was absolutely on point! It was like a quesadilla with a corn tortilla. Homemade hot sauces reasonable prices and extremely friendly service. If you are nearby, this place is a no-brainer.

I went in to try some local mexican food as im new to this area and originally from a very mexican influenced area. The food was pretty darn good. I had some tacos and a torta, and it was all solid. im sure the rest of the menu is great, and I'll be back soon. I talked to the staff and they were really friendly and welcoming as well.

Al Pastor street taco plate was awesome. Fantastic chips and salsa too.

We were nearby looking for a quick spot to eat and found this place & it did not disappoint! The cashier was very polite and accommodating! Will be one of our main spots!

Got the mulita and torta pambazo, and they were both perfect. The flavor of the torta was 10/10, and the mulita didn't fall apart (amazing construction!)

If you want great tacos in a low-key environment this is your place. Probably would make great take out! The carnitas and Al pastor were both great. The place is a little small with only 6 or so tables. the house salsa are really yummy!

Cant get enough of their Quesadillas and taco plates. And THE BEST hot sauce around. Don't play with that medium stuff, you want the orange hot sauce. They hook it up evvvverytime!

Unique menu, lots to choose from. The best tacos. Melted cheese on tacos was new to me, loved them. Delicious meats, very friendly staff. Our new favorite when in the area. Great chips and salsa too.

The meals were large and tasty.

First time stopping in. Driving by, decided to grab some lunch, and was greeted by a very friendly gent who took the time to explain their options and meals. He was genuinely interested in making sure everything g was to my liking. Menu was pretty straight forward, and had all of the familiar favorites. It was cool to see the types of protein they offer at the bottom of the menu, which you can select for almost all of their dishes. I ordered the regular tacos (one Norris and two grilled chicken), which are served with rice and beans. The tortillas were handmade and it was truly love at first bite. Beans reminded me of beans served in Olvera Street in Los Angeles! I washed it all down with their amazing Coconut Horchata! I will definitely make the 30 minute drive to try some of their other offerings. Overall: excellent food, service and atmosphere.

I ordered a chicken torta, my chicken was dry and burnt. Everything else had good flavor...but dig into it to take away the burnt part.

I drive from NE Portland for their burritos! So flavorful and well balanced. Fantastic and friendly family owned spot. Don't bother eating at Margarita Factory, food here is SO MUCH BETTER!

I moved to a different neighborhood and make a point to stop in every time I'm back. The al pastor is so well seasoned and the el pocho is now my forever burrito. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming

Great little stop if you're in the area. Really cool menu with both new and traditional options. I got the asada fries and wasn't disappointed. Portions are generous. Service was spot on.

Out of the mexican food places ive gone. This is by far the best tasting food ive had. Customer service was great. If you havent had any drinks at the front. They offer samples. Really great service. On top of it all. The presentation of their food is flawless. I cant say enough about this small family owned. This is a must try experience if you have never gone. A co worker rubey took me here for work lunch. Best decision to make. 100 % will come back when im in the area again.

Chicken and birria tacos were ahhhhmazzzingggg. The green sauce was perfect. Not watery, not too hot, had great flavor and kick. The homemade shells definitely is a game changer. I cant wait to come back and try more food from here. Service was very good as well. Expect a wait, the food is made fresh.

We tried El Zalsoso because of the ratings on Google maps and it didn't disappoint! We enjoyed the homemade chips, but watch out for the salsa if you don't like spicy food. The portions were large for the price, and all of the food was good. We'll definitely be back again!

Really great taqueria! The staff were super friendly, too. Everything was fresh, and tasted as if our Abuela made it. The guacamole with homemade chips was delicious, as were our meals. The quesadilla was perfectly melted, with the right amount of toasting on the tortilla. And the carne Asada burrito was big enough to fill me up, and take leftovers for later! Definitely will tell friends about this lovely taqueria, and pop in whenever we’re in the neighborhood!!!

Awesome authentic Mexican food. The salsa is really good and the sauces are very flavorful from mild to hot. The owners are super people, friendly and engaging.

No frills atmosphere but the service is exceptional as is the food. Street tacos great, relleno great, homemade chips and guacamole, refried beans etc. Definitely a place I will go to. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions.

We go to El Zalsoso weekly... absolutely love the food (everything is homemade, tortillas/chips/salsa/beans/meats...) and we are super picky about our Mexican food after spending most of our lives in San Diego and traveling Mexico extensively. The food here is extremely fresh, flavorful and just a bit different than you're going to find elsewhere. The specialty torta glazed with the savory chili sauce? OMG it's amazing. They passed the salsa test, if the salsa doesn't rock we don't go back and they've got multiple flavorful options. The chips are better than anywhere else. Made in house, thick and flavorful. Try the quesadilla with the housemade corn tortillas and all the fixings... delicious and different... and you can add whatever meat you like as well. Al Pastor? great flavor, moist. A great choice. Vegan options available. Nopales tacos? yum. We almost always get the chips and salsa with a side of beans (also homemade and delicious). Mix the salsa in the beans for a truly rocking warm bean dip!

It really worth a try, second time that we went there and I don't have any complain, the food is delicious and the service is excellent, very clean and the decoration and paints are beautiful this an authentic Mexican place
