I went here for a business lunch and am vegan/gluten free. They had a few options for me and am used to a limited selection. Honestly I just appreciate being accommodating. Food was SO good I was impressed. I will definitely be back for a date night.

Our experience here was nice. The service was absolutely fantastic and drinks were great. The appetizers (bread, calamari, & stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The ribeye was good, but “great”… not comparable to a nice steakhouse. I would return, but would probably try a different entree. Overall a pretty nice place!

The food was exceptional, the server Chad was very professional. We never wanted for anything, he recommended the veal for me. I really enjoyed my meal and some conversation with Chad. He was attentive without interrupting our intimate setting. The manager was so helpful, he seated us without a reservation and even called us an Uber due to the weather. We are from out of town, however we will definitely make a reservation next time we are in town.

One of the most disappointing, frustrating meals I’ve had in a long time. We ordered Caesar salad 6oz filets ( medium-rare) with smashed red potatoes, sautéed kale and a porcini Demi glacé. The salad was minuscule with only the flat leaf tops of romaine so it lay flat on the plate, no crunch or bulk and lacked flavor. There was a much too long wait between app and entree but we were patient. When the plates arrived I could tell that not only was it not 6 oz ( 4oz, for sure) it was overcooked. The thinnest petite filet I’ve ever received in a restaurant. Half to one-third the thickness as anywhere else. The kale was maybe a mouthful, seriously. It was a garnish at best. The potatoes portion was the main focus on the plate and 3x the size of the steak and kale combined. I’m sorry, but I’m not paying $40 for mashed potatoes. The “porcini mushroom” sauce had zero mushroom morsels. The waitress saw me taking photos of the meal after she stepped away so came back and said, “ it’s overdone, isn’t it?” Well, when you use a thin cut used for a well done order and try to pass it off as medium rare… I can’t even. She offered to take it back but the rate the food was coming out, everyone would’ve finished before my correction would arrive so I said no thank you. It was removed from the bill. My husbands was the same thin cut and not Med/rare either but she didn’t offer to remove his even though she mentioned it was not cooked correctly either. On the way out, the host ( who also came to the table and saw the meal so not clear if he was the manager) asked how everything was. When my husband said, “ if I’m going to be honest…” The host then blamed the meat on the purveyor and that “some meat we get cooks faster than others” I nearly fell on the floor. I’m a CIA grad who’s worked in the best restaurants in NYC.Do not blame the cut of meat that your chef chose and found acceptable to serve on the purveyor. Do not list a vegetable as an accompaniment unless it’s an actual side portion. If you’re a manager, introduce yourself as such and dress the part-not like you just walked off the local golf course in your Under Armour shirt on a Saturday night. The waiters were dressed more professionally. I have a feeling this place has turned into an easy neighborhood spot and the reason why it’s still full after all these years. It’s a shame as the atmosphere is lovely.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and have never given a review. We generally have dinner at the bar where Ashley takes amazing care of us! The service is beyond 5 stars. The menu will change periodically and we continue to find delicious appetizers and entrees. The drinks are spot on....the Sicilian Manhattan is a must try! The atmosphere is perfect and even a bit cozy for a restaurant of its size. It's one of our regulars...it'll quickly be one of yours too!

I wish I could say how the food was here. We were seated at our table and ordered wine. When we had been here for 30 minutes and our waiter took the order of a party who arrived after us and then said he would be with us shortly, we chose to leave. Unfortunate because the food sounds good. Atmosphere is great.

Great place! In for a week of work and needed to get away from the ballpark/arch area. The neighborhood and this restaurant did the trick. Nice spot on a nice street. The service is laid back and very nice. The food is great. Everyone was quite pleased. Drinks were well done and delicious as well. And that butter cake. Yum. Go here!

Eleven Eleven Mississippi was a great experience. Tucked away on the outer fringe of Lafayette Square, it's quiet, even out on the covered patio. At the entrance is a fascinating fountain made of piping and old wine bottles. The atmosphere inside was very intimate. You enter through a heavy curtain into a dimly lit (but not dark) series of rooms on multiple half levels, creating small, intimate dining areas. I had the gilled salmon with a lemon herb beurre blanc. It was delicious and was served with small potatoes, corn, lima beans, and red peppers. Everything was delicious and I had no problem finishing it all. It's a bit pricey, but worth the extra cost for the ambience and high quality food.

Good, not great. Cocktails were just a bit odd. Whiskey Sour was not well made nor was the Manhattan. Many cocktails here are served over small ice cubes vs. one large (nor defaulting to straight up when appropriate). Food doesn't have a local vibe or flair. It's flat bread pizzas and generic dishes. The flat bread pizza had a lot of wood ash on it. One of the specials was a Denver steak, which the server described as similar to 'short rib'!! They've lost the opportunity to really make it feel local and authentic and don't seem to source any local produce. Service was good but periodically lacked attentiveness. Overall, a fun dinner and worth a journey, but not quite as good as they think they are.

Came here for dinner and my brother and I decided to grab seats at the bar. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is pretty chill although very nice inside as well. We had delicious cocktails (try the jalapeño pineapple margarita), calamari, and ribeye steaks. Everything we had was 10/10. Highly recommended checking this place out.

So good that we didn't take any photos of the food! We came here during an anniversary trip and loved everything about the experience. Staff is attentive and accommodating for dietary wants/needs including a gluten free menu and vegetarian menu. We ordered NA drinks, ceasar salad, brussels sprouts, grilled salmon, filet, and flourless chocolate cake. All incredible, with well-balanced flavors and textures. We reserved day-of inside the restaurant on a Friday at 7:30 pm and had no trouble finding parking or being seated.

We hadn’t been to 1111 in awhile, so we were looking forward to it. However, when food arrived it was not hot. My eggplant Parmesan was dry and cold. My husband’s polenta with shrimp was flavorless and $9 for 4 small shrimp. The dish was over dressed. It was a disappointment. Not sure we’ll return. There are many other better options.

Surprisingly bad. Awkward, apathetic service. A simple order messed up, and nothing done to correct it. The measly shrimp were past their quality point (inedible) and the pasta was mush. The restaurant was empty and there was no urgency from anyone. This place was highly recommended and fell awfully short.

Maybe in person this place is better but I ordered delivery and it was terrible, I had the sea bass over farro risotto and the “steak” salad on which there was no steak so I ended up with $16 field greens, just really dissatisfied but tbh in around my area this seems to be par for the course, mediocre, bland, overpriced and over hyped. Skip it.

Omg! I finally made it to this restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed! I've been going past it for years, and I keep forgetting it's not just lofts, it's a restaurant there too. The waitress was very friendly and polite and told us all of the specials that was on the menu. She then brought out this amazing bread with sautéed sweet onions on top to dip in olive oil and parmesan cheese that was to die for! The bread was cut in thick slices but it was light and airy and sooooooooo good! I had a lemon drop as my cocktail and it was delicious 😋. I requested the special, which consisted of beef short ribs with mashed potatoes and string beans. The beef short ribs came with a brown gravy sauce and was very tender. The mashed potatoes were cooked perfect but the green beans were a bit stiff and under cooked, but it was good anyway. We also had the oak oven roasted mussels as an appetizer, which were delicious too!

The waitress Abby adds value by providing good recommendation on the soup, entree and dessert for new customers. I reaaaaallly wanted to like this place. I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews but after waiting over an hour for food with no communication from the server, not even being asked if I wanted another cocktail during that hour, and the lack of flavor in the food itself, it’s just not the place for us. Atmosphere was nice, the host who seated us was very kind, and the calamari was alright. It’s definitely not worth the $40+ per plate and there’s just so many better restaurants in St. Louis.

We had an early reservation, e.g. 5:30. By the time we left, around 7:30, the restaurant was hopping. It was difficult to hear my companion.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but I hadn't been since before 2020 and I wad really looking forward to it. The food was mostly disappointing. Highlights were the complementary foccaccia bread and the flatbread with pear and fig. We also tried the stuffed mushrooms and didn't even want to finish them. They had time to cheese and a balsamic glaze. I didn't like the texture or flavor profile of the cheese with the sauce. Then several of our dinners were just bland. When one of my friends gently tries to tell the waitress that the pasta was doughy and bland, she was essentially told that she just doesn't know how to enjoy fresh pasta (which is not the case.) Another person (host or manager, not sure) stopped by briefly to ask how our meal was, but did not wait for any response. They just said, "enjoy the rest of your evening," and walked on to the next table. I believe that will be the last time I dine at eleven eleven.

Had a lovely dinner for 4 at Eleven Eleven Mississippi. The steak entrees were the highlight of the evening. Hit every note you'd expect for a delicious steak. What really compelled me to write a review though was the standout service we received from our waiter, Lucas. He was incredibly attentive and welcoming and really enhanced our experience. Any team or restaurant will be very fortunate to have him on board.

In a city full of options, Eleven Eleven stands out for the quality of food, the unique spin on dishes and excellent staff. Salina was our waitress, and while they were out of our special, she was so knowledgeable about the menu that she gave us a great option. I had the pork tenderloin special, seasoned in a rub with a tasteful amount of bacon sauce, this tenderloin was cooked slow and this remained juicy and delicious. The accompanying potatoes were delightful and while the green beans were a bit crisp for my liking they were also delicious. She had the filet, and candidly she had a very particular desire for medium plus and the chef nailed this. Her filet was delicious and as a menu standard we would recommend strongly. She swapped the vegetables for Brussels sprouts and was not disappointed. We found the atmosphere perfect for table chatting, appreciating the distance between tables for privacy. Just a great time overall.

From the bread to the main course, this place was phenomenal! My partner and I split the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and I got the pan seared mediterranean seabass for dinner. Please... This place is nothing but the best fancy restaurant I've been in.. EVER. ZERO FRILL. ALL QUALITY. Our food was cooked to nearest perfection. The petite fillet steak was so tender.. the sea bass moist inside and crispy outside.. Since sitting down.. Gary was going above and beyond with his quality service and kindness. Not sure if the chef left but we have a tradition of coming here for our anniversary and order the same items from our first date, so we’ve known what to expect. This time the ravioli was severely undercooked, my steak was overcooked, and service was just ok. Not sure we’ll continue this tradition going forward unfortunately.

We went for our anniversary a while back and had a wonderful time. Every staff member wished us a happy birthday. We split a salad and i couldn't tell it was split very large portion. My wife had the seafood special that night and thought it was wonderful. I had the beef tips special it was very good. We even got a complimentary glass of champagne. They treat customers right. It was a great choice

We met family for lunch on a Friday. Not too busy and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our table was seated near a fireplace which made it very cozy. The front of house staff and servers were very accommodating. As it was a Friday during lent the specials were fish and chips, rice and shrimp and ciopinno. I had the ciopinno which was excellent; spicy broth, mussels, shrimp and salmon along with toasted baguette. It was delicious!

I only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my husband and I usually love this restaurant. My husband has been there easily over 300 times. Over the years the staff has changed and so has the service. Last night we ordered a $42 steak that was at least 40% fat. We substituted Risotto for potatoes but got some overcooked tomato filled stuff. When we alerted the bartender (we sit at the bar) he just said oh okay. He also had very little knowledge of the menu. The female bartender dropped a couple glasses. It all just seemed messy. My husband had to ask him to adjust our bill. He got permission to take off $8. 😒. To make matters worse husband's card was charged TWICE. When we alerted the 2 bartenders. The female printed out a receipt and told us the system only shows one charge and if it isn't removed the next day to call at 11. My husband did that and the manager told him he was in a lunch rush. My husband offered to call back later. This is just not the experience we're used to at ElevenEleven. I hope it was just a off night. 😕

My daughter and I went here on February 3 for a mother daughter evening out. Our server was amazing! So attentive and kind. I ordered a well done steak that came back a bit too pink. He took it back with no hesitation, and a manager came over to apologize. I’m sure if I had been more frustrated by the situation or complained more, they would have done something to make up for it (such as a bill credit), but I honestly wasn’t upset. It came back from the kitchen perfect, and my daughter and I still enjoyed it. I will return for a date night!

Always a favorite of my wife and I. We have been coming here 9 straight years on our anniversary and we always leave happy. Our server this year, Gary, was incredibly nice and honest and just fit the evening for us. Only negative comment would be that their appetizer list is lacking options and life. A great experience all around. We went on a Fri night. It's suggested that you make reservations. This can be done from their site. Awedome service, friendly staff. Has a "bar down the street" vibe. A nice place to relax after a hard day.

Such a wonderful place! The music was appropriate and right for the atmosphere and the type of clientele. The food was excellent and plated very well. Our waitress checked up on us just at the right times. She didn't hover over us but she also didn't abandon us.

It was my first time here. I grew up in St. Louis and now live in Indiana. I hadn't been in this area for decades. What a surprise this restaurant was from a referral I received from a friend. The server, Jean, was awesome, the food was excellent and the ambience was perfect for a reasonably quiet dinner with special people. I will be back!

I have gone here for many years and they do a terrific job at tweaking the items on the menu to make them work. I had the fish special two weeks ago, and the kitchen was able to make it delicious for me without using dairy (which makes me very ill). I could have ordered from the vegan menu, but I was thrilled...like I have been many times before...to order something from the "regular" menu that was tailored just for me. Our family of five (3 college age kids) loves this restaurant!

This is a great restaurant to go to before the Fox theater. About 8 minutes away and parking was easy for us at the restaurant. Food was very good and we loved the ambiance. Very cozy and got to watch snowfall outside the window. Service was good.

We celebrated our 50 wedding anniversary at 11 11 last year. The restaurant was festive, including a holiday drink menu. They gave us a complimentary champagne. This year, 51 celebration, restaurant was nearly empty. No holiday drink menu and no champagne :( We'll be going elsewhere next year.
