Gotta admit wasn’t excited. We walked in and were the only ones there. Almost left. The display to me just looked like some premade frozen whatever- I was WAY off base. This place is good. We tried 4 different ones, unanimously the argentian beef was the winner, must try. Sauces are great. Definitely recommend.

What can I say? I'm addicted to these delicious, beautifully packaged empanadas! Just pick up a dozen. We don't order anything less. Beef, Peruvian chicken, cheese, and mushrooms are our go-to favorites 😍 .

I used to eat here a lot and then I moved from New Orleans to Latin America and now I can officially confirm- Empanola has the authentic empanada flavors mastered. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious. I had the pepperoni pizza and the chorizo empanadas. The cilantro lime sauce pairs perfect with both. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners. Phenomenal customer service. I highly recommend stopping in!

I had a great experience with the two foods I got, but my friend got the bananas foster and when she bit into it, it was full of apples, cinnamon, and pecans. We told the lady working that it must have been labeled wrong, but she said no that’s just what bananas foster is. They were also selling apple pecan empanadas, so we know it got accidentally labeled. My friend is allergic to cinnamon, and now is having to receive treatment for her swelled tongue. Mistakes happen, but they should have owned up to their mistakes. Disappointed.

The food was okay, the service was terrible. To name a few things, they claimed they don’t serve tap water although they have a labeled fountain behind the counter (then made us feel bad for asking for water cups), our booth was dirty, they brought my vegan empanada out on my husbands plate with his non-vegan food instead of giving me my own plate. Just a strange experience

This place had the best empanadas I have ever had! They had so many options to choose from that they have one for everyone!! Staff was super friendly! We loved this place so much that we talked about it the entire rest of the trip and kept saying we need to go back for more empanadas! Such an authentic place in New Orleans!

Several different kinds of empanadas. I had the Yellow Curry, Gumbo, Breakfast, and Chicken Peruvian. The Gumbo was my favorite! My gf got the banana foster empanada which she loved. The Tres Leches was my favorite part, it was delicious.

Wow... I love it! Best Empanadas in Town. I prefer: 1 Beef (the best) 2 Crawfish 3 Gumbo 4 Chicken Hot Sauce, Cimichurri and Cilantro sauces are excellent as well.
