Great food at a great price! Cooked fresh and delicious!! Awesome vibes too!!

I stopped here after a day of hiking Harper's Ferry/Maryland Heights. I got the H8, Steak and Shrimp.. great food, large portion.. the steak, shrimp, veggies and fried rice were all excellent. Would recommend

Food is amazinglyyyy delicious and everyone there was so kind! The service was great and the food was bomb especially the steak hibachi and the yum yum sauce. Shout out to the person who took our order and gave us an extra thai tea ❤️❤️

Got rerouted on way home and stumbled upon this food truck-which is much more of a small take out/window service restaurant than a food truck. We called ahead to time it right and wow we really lucked out. Chicken and steak hibachi was more than enough for two people, sushi rolls were huge, and even the salted edamame were perfect. Such a refreshing change from fast food…although, food only took 15 minutes 😀 Saw quite a few locals picking up too which I always think is a good sign that the place is tried and true. Thanks WV for the fifteen minute drive through and the great food!

Highly recommend I found this place by accident and then I had a little "picnic"at Harpers ferry picnic area it was very enjoyable this is a must if you are checking out the national park. Everything thing I ordered was good. The mango lemonade was 🔥. Gps will take you right to it!

I love these little gems. Amazing food, good prices, friendly staff. The hibachi lunch bowls are perfectly sized, the veggies were fresh, the meat was great, the yum yum sauce was awesome. The sushi rice was excellent and the fillings were fresh. Overall it was unexpectedly delicious for the price. I'll be back!

I decided to try this food truck after seeing really great reviews on Door Dash. Even the seemingly crankier folks said great things. I’ve ordered a few times now. The steak is amazing. The grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce is delicious. Their fried rice is even superior! As for the serving sizes, they’re perfect and I always have leftovers! My favorite so far is the grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce and fried rice. One fitful with rice, chicken and veggies is bliss. Food trucks can be really impressive, usually the ones with lines down the street in bigger cities are best. This one would give them all a run for their money, and it’s right here in Bakerton? Thats wild. The food is great, servings sizes incredible, and they make the food so quickly! I’m grateful it’s there and on so glad it rode it when I did, I only wish O tried it sooner.

The food here is *amazing*. We ordered some spring rolls along with our main dishes and were asked if we'd like 2 orders or 1. We went with 1 thinking that 5 spring rolls was good enough but they were SO perfect that we absolutely regretted not getting that second order! It looks unassuming but it was a brilliant, refreshing meal. On top of awesome food, the people are lovely! Very friendly and inviting. 10/10 would recommend. 👌

Sooooo good after a day of hiking and walking around the area. I got the salmon hibachi and it was delicious. The portions are huge, the rice is good and the veggies are fresh. Staff was very friendly, too.

This place is AMAZING. The food is out of this world. So good. These guys need a "brick & mortar " restaurant!! Do yourself a favor and try out today. Highly addicting. And so much better than any other place arpund.

We’ve been here multiple times and always had a positive experience. Sadly, this evening did not match and management was beyond inexcusable. I placed an online order at 5:56 PM with a pick up ETA of 20 minutes for 6:16 PM. We arrived 5 min late and the order had not even been started. We were provided a buzzer and still no food 20 minutes later. When asked for an ETA they continued to say they were bagging. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, asked again and they provided a second buzzer. When original buzzer went off, entree was left off. We did receive a partial refund for that. Upon returning home the veggie rolls and crab ragoon was colder than the mango lemonade and no sauce was provided for sushi. Honestly, would appreciate a full refund as this was a disappointment for customers that eat here frequently.

I used to really love coming here and bringing my friends because I live so close, but every time I come now I just get more and more disappointed. Whether it be the inconsistency in food, or the time it takes to get your food. They tell you “up to 20 minutes” and you’re waiting around for an EXTRA 20 minutes. I deliberately order 35 minutes in advance, and I’m still sitting here waiting for 20 more. If you order online they don’t even start your order until you get here and ask for it, they give you a buzzer and say “it’s not quite done yet.” I’m honestly done ordering from here. I’ll order from a better place in town from now on.

Only ever had good food from here. Prices are fair, the food fresh, and the service good.

Disclaimer: reviewer have been to Japan and traveled the country, so everything will be based on how close the food is to the home country. Mango lemonade is good (price to quantity is lacking) Yatai trio : quantity to price is decent : taste 3 out of 5 : packaging 5/5 Hibachi shrimp : quantity to price is ok (shrimp to rice ratio is low, but its the fatty shrimp) :taste the shrimp is great (better with the yum sauce, but thats subjective) :packaging 5/5 Hibachi chicken :quantity is good :taste is good (better with the yum sauce, but thats subjective) :packaging 5/5 Parking can be iffy when its busy.

Harpers ferry bridge is closed for reno, but I still detour here cause the food and chicken is worth it

Offering much more variety from a food truck than one would expect, Yatai Hibachi is a welcomed food service in the neighboring area to Harpers Ferry. Regarding prices, they are fair. At the same time, there are some wait times, although that is to be expected, and they are no means lengthy. While there is obviously no indoor dining, six picnic tables are set out which can accommodate approximately 24-36 visitors. Positioned right off of Rt. 340, the location is ideal for those traveling to and from Maryland, making Yatai Hibachi a worthy consideration for those nearby.

Got the crab stick sushi burrito and it was absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I’s first time trying here and by far our new favorite place! I highly recommend to anyone.

This is the worst American-Asian food you can find. Not talking about Asian food, but just American-Asian and it's still really terrible. Hibachi chicken is breast meat chicken with absolutely no flavors at all, and fried rice that's just fake soy sauce wok stir fried a bit. Friendly and nice people, absolutely terrible food.

Literally the best Asian food in town. A lot of the other Asian places taste like frozen food heated up. This place though. It taste like god gave them the freshest ingredients in the world and everything is handmade with love. We love this place. Super friendly staff and amazing food. The only place we go for Asian food in the area.

We had several servings of the sushi and absolutely loved all of it. Went back the next day for more.

Very friendly and happy staff. Not only are they very fast but the quality of the food is great as well. It's easily accessible right off of 340, so imho it's a good stop if you're hungry and on a commute. Personally, i recommend the Panang curry with chicken, can't go wrong with it.

Good food. Helpful, friendly staff. A bit to chilly to hang outside and eat, but picnic tables are available. I got the curry with beef. The only thing is that I wish it had some more veggies. Other than that, if you are in the area, check it out!

We pick up from here about once a month and it is ALWAYS wonderful. I get the Panang Curry with tofu and extra veggies every time, i can't get enough of it. My husband will always get a hibachi dish and he loves it. HIGHLY recommend!

A great little Japanese/Korean take out restaurant. This little restaurant is located in a portable food truck located at the end of Bakerton rd and RT 340 in Harpers Ferry WV. Their food is delicious. It's a little pricey but that doesn't seem to affect the locals and tourists from getting takeout from there. It does have some picnic tables to eat at but that's not their main client base.

I’ve been to this food truck multiple times now. The customer service is superior. The food is always hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend. Do not skip this place!

Use to go to this place after work every week, the yum yum sauce is out of this world! It goes so well with their veggie Lo Mein. Would rate 10 stars if I could!

The sushi rolls are fantastic!! The Bulgogi was also , I would give 5 stars but my steak in my steak and shrimp teriyaki was really tough and well done I asked for medium BUT my shrimp was one of the best I’ve had!! The service is great , people are very friendly. I’d highly recommend oh heck they deserve 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

110% our favorite go-to for lunch and dinner! Not only are the portions huge for the price, but the food is amazing as well! Anytime our friends come into town we always bring them to Yatai and they’re so happy to have leftovers for later, too. I’m really picky with sushi and this is by far one of my favorite sushi spots as well. So lucky to have this so close to home!

Food always amazing and great service

It was ok, but not really great. The steak was pretty bland and kind of tasted like it was boiled. The fried rice was was kind of bland too. The portions are big though.
