What a great find on our trip to Costco. Wonderful BBQ with smoke flavor. The sides were super tasty. The service was prompt and informative. Karissa did a great job. Unfortunately no pictures. We will be back again.

I have many food restrictions but their food is made from scratch and as clean as it comes. I thought it was fantastic and super tasty. I love the marinated chicken and love love love the cornbread and sweet mashed potatoes! Thank you Cassia for such great service too!

We always try to make it out here for carryout, but we decided to eat in last night after getting a sitter. The service Melissa offered was 2nd to none, and the food came out perfect, warm and crispy. We even brought food home for our daughter and sitter and it was meticulously packed and made with great quality. Flavors great, service great and atmosphere is phenomenal.

My husband and I were searching Google for someplace to eat that was different from what we could cook ourselves. Full Transparency: we are natural food critics. We are very talented when it comes to cooking at home and creating things from scratch. My husband has a gourmet style and I have a home-cooked style way of cheffing. This makes it hard for us to go out and really enjoy ourselves and feel like we got our “money and taste worth”. Our online search came down to two restaurants. It was a tossup between Fogo De Chao and Bad Brads BBQ. We chose Brads. My goodness, I’m so glad we did! We have never been here and I can not tell you how pleasantly surprised and happy I am that we chose them! The wait wasn’t bad (15 minutes). The drinks at the bar were really good. I even carried one to the table 😂 Our server Maddy was so sweet and attentive. I shared with her how excited we were to have found them and told her we’d be back when family came into town. Thanks Maddy! All of this and I haven’t even mentioned the food yet! The meat rub was good. I liked the peppery flavor. The chicken was moist. The ribs literally fell off the bone. The Mac and cheese was creamy. The greens were perfect. The black eyed peas in them were a nice touch. The sauces were nice. We bought two of them to take home (321 & Spicy). Everything was good. The prices were respectable. The atmosphere can be described as “family friendly”. This place is a winner! Definitely going into the arsenal of this foodie list for places worth spending your time and money.

Bad Brads is an amazing place to eat, food is outstanding, atmosphere is authentic and service is top notch, Rain did a great job and was a wonderful server, friendly and happy.

Me and my family drove back from nyc and had to stop back in The service was amazing. Melissa took very good care of us. Our weight was very short and she assured us that our food will come out promptly and we are happy that she took care of us and we will definitely be back the next time. We are back in town.

Been here plenty of times, but today’s food was just a tad better than the other times. Our server Rain was very attentive, and got us our food while it was hot. Always have a good meal here.

Bad Brads is a staple in our family for special events and dinners. Every member of their team has a great attitude and works together to give some of the best service I’ve seen. Their food is high quality and I couldn’t recommend the Lake Orion location more. We’re so grateful for their place in our community.

One of my favorite restaurants. Get the Candy becon. They up charge on certain items like brisket and ribs, still like going there though. Best bbq in Michigan if you ask me.

Always amazing food! Meat falls off the bone, sides are tasty, and everything is seasoned well. We've gotten food from here for various gatherings at our house and it's definitely worth the money. We usually order the Big Pig Gig, and it'll easily feed twice as many people as listed on the menu.

The homemade garlic sauce and salsa took the meal over the top. Loved the atmosphere as well, and food came out in less than ten minutes. Great experience!!

Just wanted something light and decided to go to Bad Brad’s for some salads. Can’t say enough good things about the turkey salad and wife had and enjoyed the Cobb salad. Great atmosphere as well.

Bad Brad's BBQ Burger was delicious. That brisket topping and coleslaw on the base bun is a nice touch. Service was a bit slow but the food was worth the wait. Prices were reasonable.

We visited Bad Brads last night for dinner. It was a little later since it’s summer and we wanted to avoid the dinner rush. We weren’t greeted by a hostess at the door, and when one did arrive we were sort of awkwardly shepherded into the bar by the front door. We didn’t mind the bar because it’s quieter and less crazy than the main dining room. The bartender was easily able to handle the tables because she had a great view of them from the bar. The food was just okay. Nothing special, and definitely not the best BBQ in the state. I was not impressed with the drink I ordered. The Mac and cheese was fine, the pulled pork just “good”, and the brisket was the same. The sauces left a lot to be desired. The 3-2-1 was probably the best of the choices, but the rest were just plain and simply not good. There are a lot of BBQ choices in the area and so we probably won’t think of Bad Brads as a first choice in the future.

First off, the building is beautiful! Love everything about it, I was looking around at all the cool decor the whole time we were there. Second, our food was amazing! We got ribs and a few meat platter and devoured all of it lol sooooo good! And third, last but definitely not least, our server Maddie was top notch! She had a huge smile for everyone and was prompt and helpful when we had questions! Will most definitely be back, thank you so much Maddie for your excellent service 💗
