The service was great. It took about 10 mins for my three empanadas to be ready. I had the crawfish ettuofee, Argentina beef, and Asian dumpling. My favorite is the Asian dumpling. Great for snacks

Tried the Gumbo and Crawfish etoufee. Both were equally good. However they ran out of chimichurri sauce. If you’re nearby stop in they have a wide variety of empanadas.

Good food good service but allow people to preach and not care about customer eating trying to enjoy a meal. Instead have to listen to major liberal views and ideology instead of making it a decent atmosphere to eat.

I've never had empanadas before so I was excited to try this spot and their unique filling options. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere and subtle design. I ordered the shrimp and cheese, spinach and artichoke, and apple pecan. All the empanadas were flavorful and fresh. I like how the empanadas come labeled, it's clever and helpful to tell them apart! The service was fast and great.

found outselves wondering around town looking for a bite to eat and stumbled in here. we loved the amount of options of both sweet and savory empanadas and other food options too. staff was polite, cafe was clean, food came quickly and everything was really tasty. would definitely come back! we loved the banana foster, spinach artichoke, and the impossible!

I had the Chilean Beef and the Peruvian Chicken empanadas, along with a house salad and a Topo Chico, all for under $20! Salad was super fresh and very tasty. The Chilean Beef was SOOOO GOOD! The chicken was good also but the beef was definitely my favorite. I will definitely be going back there. The sooner the better

Great empanadas. So Many varieties to choose from, classic to NO centric to very different. They are baked not fried which adds an interesting twist. Only tasted one but will definitely be back for more.

First off the staff was so nice. Second, my wife and I travel the country searching for empanadas..Southern California has some good ones. Believe it or not there's good empanadas in Indianapolis too. But the empanadas and the selection of different empanadas here at Empanola may be the best on this side of the Mississippi! Awesome spot.

These empanadas were nothing short of AMAZING. Stuffed with whatever you ordered, cooked fast, delivered hot, and yuuuuuumy. We had the pepperoni pizza and mushrooms and cheese. Both suuuuuuper yummy. Definitely worth the stop. Sorry no photos bc we ate them and now leaving the review

I watched the blonde waitress rub her head and braid her hair and without washing her hands handle trays of of empanadas. That is beyond gross. You come into an empanada place to get a fast meal and the take 15 minutes to reheat 1 empanada.

Good food at the beautiful Garden District. It’s Argentinian empanadas, if I’m not mistaken, so the empanadas are baked and not fried. This does take away from the empanada experience a bit, but it’s still delicious! They have a vast array of different flavors. I got the Peruvian Chicken which was fantastic! They also imprint the flavor on the actual empanada, which I thought was really cool.

Tried out two veggie options, yellow curry and mushroom with cheese. Enjoyed both, but the mushroom and cheese was the standout. Great spot, will return. One sauce should be included, but not a big deal.

Delicious empanadas in the Garden District! We parking for free on the street a few blocks away in the beautiful housing neighborhoods. Love the quiet ambience, friendly staff and multitude of different flavors. My absolute favorite was the Peruvian chicken. Be sure to try some of the dipping sauces as well; so tasty! There is a singular unisex bathroom on premise; however has 2 steps to enter. Highly recommended!

The flavors of the empanadas really brought me back to our trip to Peru ! Very casual, perfect for lunch.

The staff are as friendly as your can hope for. The empanadas were tasty. But I found them a little too small . They also had a little too much oil inside. The tomato basil soup was too hot (picante) for me but the taste behind the pepper was good.

Absolutely most delicious empanadas in the city! Flavor, texture, was served hot, the sauce was amazing. We had the Beef Argentina, Chorizo Mexicana, & The Spinach & Artichoke! With the the cilantro lime & chimichurri sauces. Delicious, I will return!!

We shared 3 different empanadas. I'm not big on mushrooms and was hesitant to give that a taste. The flavor of the mushroom stuffing was amazing and my favorite one! Dion was extremely helpful giving us other places to try while in the city.

This is an absolute must try! Empanadas are DELICIOUS. Customer services was phenomenal. From traditional NOLA flavors to modern takes on your favorite latin flavors you won’t be disappointed. Stop by for lunch or a quick snack! I will be back before I go home to Chicago. We tried Mushroom and Queso; Crawfish Etouffee; and Chorizo Mexicana (There would be pictures but we destroyed them within minutes)

Fist time I tried empanadas from Empanola, ordered them from Door Dash and I was gladly surprised that I get them in 20 minutes! Empanadas were really good. Next time I’ll dine in.

Visited NOLA from Texas and when I tell you this is the best place to visit and try I mean it! I think about the the Cajun Empanadas every day! Soo good

Delicious empanadas and flan. I love the impossible empanada even though I do not like impossible burgers (they are not healthy and taste too much like meat). The yellow curry and spinach/artichoke empanadas are great too. The flan is thick and rich. Would appreciate if they offered a guava and cheese dessert empanada. K

We ordered from this place on Doordash and I felt compelled to leave a public review here, as well. We got 2x beef argentina, 1x spinach and artichoke, 1x crawfish ettouffe. Suffice it to say this review has no photos because the smell was incredible and they all taste amazing. The spinach and artichoke has got to be my favorite followed closely by the beef ones. The crust is perfect and portion size as well!

Passed Empanola on Magazine street but had just ate so we didn’t stop in. I couldn’t stop thinking about empanadas so we made a point to go back a few days later before leaving the city and I’m so glad we did!! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They had so many amazing options to choose from, but we ended up with the Mexican chorizo, Asian dumpling, yellow curry, Peruvian chicken, and finished it up with the apple pecan. Overall, I think the Asian dumpling was my favorite but they all had really amazing flavor!! Really love the way they have the flavors stamped on the top too! Already have my options picked out for the next time we are here. Can’t wait to come back!!
