Fun place to stop and have lunch.

I was invited to an fsu game years ago and was fortunate enough that my wife and I were guests in the Suntrust private suite for the game. It was the most amazing offering of food and beverages that I have ever experienced. While there along with the carved prime rib and amazing fresh seafood that I landed upon a tray of sausage dogs. Of course they had all the condiments and fixings to pile on top of the dog and the bun. It was the best sausage dog I have ever had in my life. I tried for years to find out what supplier sold those dogs to the fsu stadium. I found out after posting on Facebook the Bradleys Country store was the supplier but didn’t sell to doak Campbell stadium anymore. Of of my friends who owns a rental house on St. George island was so kind to have her husband pick me up a box of sausage dogs and brought to the island for me. It was blissful! Now I know where I can get the best sausage ever. At Bradley’s 12 miles north of Tallahassee.

Located 30 minutes (16 miles) Northeast of downtown Tallahassee is Bradley’s Country Store. Authentic and nostalgic, and home of the best locally-made sausages with a distinctive flavor and texture. Available by the pound as fresh or smoked, hot or mild, or ready-to-eat sausage dogs served in a bun in 6-inch or footlong sizes. Pork chop sandwiches are also available. Additional fresh by-the-pound meat options are pork loin, pork chops, bacon, and other pork parts. Jellies, jams, grits, pancake mixes, milk, farm-fresh eggs (sometimes), wide variety of sodas (root beer, orange, cherry, peach, cream soda), and a long wall of sweets and candies. Get you a sausage dog and a root beer for lunch and eat it on the porch in a rocking chair (with built-in drink holder). Locals enjoy the sausages grilled at the tailgate party in the stadium parking lot before the Florida State University Seminoles football games.

Old Florida country store atmosphere. Has own smokehouse. Great lunch (foot-long smoked sausage dogs, in crunchy casings. You can order your dog fully dressed -- all toppings), chips, and bottomless self-serve fountain drink for under $10.00. Very fast, custom service. Eat at picnic tables or on front porch in rocking chairs. Grab some extra napkins. You will need them! NOTE: NO RAMP ENTRANCE. Two very steep (9" steps and three shallow 6" steps). Has railing, but quite low, for me. Adding a long, shower-towel-bar type railing would be a great safety improvement. Also, watch the first threshold step into the store. It is an unexpected 2.5" drop! Family owned. Continual business for nearly 100 years. Bradley Farm Day Annual Celebration is the Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving. RAIN OR SHINE ! Over 150 vendors. Crowds exceed THIRTY THOUSAND (30,000) !

Reject modernity; embrace Bradley's Country Store. Went here for the first time in forever (was a little kid before), and it was everything I'd hoped. Decided to get a ton of sausage to smoke later, and couldn't help but to smell its smoky goodness the whole way home. Leadership at Bradley's has a high standard, far above any other store/venue in Leon county, and it was refreshing to see someone care so much about maintaining it with an air of southern hospitality. The one downside to Bradley's is leaving, back to modernity. Yeah, I'm coming back here!

Amazing food in a charming setting!

Drove 3 hours to visit this cool country general store. A trip back in time.The sausage dogs are pretty awesome too.

My granddaddy,Andrew Slater use to bring me here when i was a lil girl,good sausages and meats i wish they would bring some of them good ole fashion food to The Kearney Center. AMEN

My dad's been feeding me this sausage during my many visits. I finally had the opportunity to go out there again and replenish the stock of smoked sausage and pork chops. It's the best sausage I've had and I've eaten truckloads.

First time visit Monday MLK after leaving redemptive love farms…. I love this place!!! I’ve had people bring me the sausage before and always knew about the store but never stopped. Definitely will be coming back often now! Staff was extremely friendly and food was amazing!!! Loved eating outside with the family! 10 out of 10. :) Best hot sausage dog ever!!

Id argue with any person that would dare say that this isn't the bestsausage in the world, hot or mild. Ill take some of both... don't forget about the jalapeño cheddar sausage either! Friendly staff and such a delicious place to eat lunch! Nothing beats this place!

I have been going there for their great smoked sausage for 49 years. I used to sit on the front porch with my father in the rocking chairs and enjoy a great sausage dog for lunch at least ones a week. Great memories. Bradley's County Days are today. The place is packed. Traffic backed up for miles. Glad we came early.

Never disappoints! That ol' style country store feel and great sausage! Lot's of other meats and things like homemade soap, old style juke box, etc. If you've never been, you need put it on your to-do list!

Bradley’s Country Store is like stepping into a time long passed. It’s a genuine “old time” country store that’s served that rural community since 1927 and it doesn’t seem to have changed much! I mean that in the most wonderfully positive way. They have candies from years ago, homemade foods and jellies, desserts, vintage toys, tea towels, ice cream, spices, rubs, honey, baking mixes, cookbooks, and in the back; a meat counter where the regionally famous Bradley’s sausages are sold—among other meats. It’s such a great escape and I never leave without delicious snacks and a feeling that I took a break from my hectic reality.

Cutest little store. I literally drive an hour just to get cobbler mix and a pound cake they are amazing!!!

My family loves their smoked pork chops and sausage. I truly enjoy making the drive out there. Driving down Centerville Rd and it being a canopy road is so beautiful.

Long old Tallahassee treasure. A real old-timey country store and the family that runs it offer hand maid foods and a butcher's shop. A wide selection of soda pops and flavors of a bygone time like sasperilla, grape nee hi, birch beer, and root beers. Foods seniors grew up with like stage planks. You will have a fine time there.

I haven't been there in about 20 years and it's just like I remembered it being. Very friendly and personable people and good food, I highly recommend stopping by if given a chance

Do NOT go if you don't eat pork. That's all they serve. And quite frankly, it's a tourist stop and it's pricey. My sandwich was VERY underrated and $8.99 for two slices of store bought square bread and no side. Some things are locally sourced, and that may be a nice gift to take home. Again, though, compared to other places in SWGA and N FL, it was expensive.. Also, to go to Thomasville DO NOT USE the Old Centerville Road. It's a dirt road after the pavement of 1/2 mile!!

Sausage Dog and Smoked Sausage worth making the trek for. A off of the Tallahassee veaten path but well worth the travel. Just dont criticize anyone you have known for not making food this good...these sausages are exceptional. They hav a whole store of exceptional country products. Go to where there are exceptional products.

Nestled in a rural area just a short drive during the park hammock away from Tallahassee sits the coolest historic store you will find in the entire state of Florida. Talk about a walk back into an earlier time, oh how I would have loved to have been alive during this era. Bradley’s will bring that nostalgic feeling into your soul as you enter the store and explore all the goodies. They have fresh meats, candies, canned products, Soaps and so much more. Sit upon the tractor seats and enjoy lunch and just reminisce back into time. This place does not disappoint.

The sausage dog is a great choice for lunch. And while you are there buy some link sausage: SO GOOD!

The delicacy that is the Bradley’s sausage dog… an iconic, fun, nostalgic Tallahassee gem. Every Saturday, athletes converge on this store to run and bike on the sublime Georgia clay trails. Then comes the obligatory ‘dog, which has never wavered in quality and taste for years. It is a fully stocked store with a butcher shop, canned goods, toys, trinkets, etc. Twenty years from now, I hope to walk in the Bradley’s Country Store and everything by exactly as it is! 🐖🐖🐖🐖

I'd like to say it's Tallahassee's best kept secret but everyone knows about it. It is a Hallmark of our community and they make the best sausage and have the best meat. The service is out of this world it's a little bit out of the way but that does not stop locals from going there. Pro Tip: while you're there get the sausage dog it'll change your life.

This is an old timey country store, i love their good old days vibes. They have a great selection of food, goods, drinks, and lunch sandwiches. I had their hot sausage dog and porkchop sandwiches, both are great.

The festival is nice BUT IT'S NOT WORTH SITTING IN TRAFFIC FOR OVER 2+ HOURS!

2022 Fun Days: Love it. Visit Gen Store from time to time outside of fun days. Nothing on Bradley's or nothing bad but am I only one that's noticed all types booths craft/fun/show days since 2019 have been on constant repeat?! The same stuff, same types.............for all those that give us their handy work/arts- thank you, but please bring us something new, bring us variety, bring us something different/unique!
