Theo’s outstanding service added so much to our experience, and he absolutely deserves a raise. We'll definitely be returning!

A favorite. Artichoke and Sun Dried Tomato pizza is worth the drive. Restaurant is quaint and reminds my wife and I of places we visited on the coast.

I came in today to do a pickup order and what I sow blew my mind. So many people. The parking lot was full. The building nextdoor parking lot was full. A line of cars in the drive through. The staff bust it out quickly given the amount of customer. I didn't see one person on staff give a frustrated look at anyone and this is with several families who clearly have never been in that position getting frustrated with them. They smiled and pumped out food.. Oh and the food. As always freaking amazing. I just want to say good job tonight and ever night. Yall are amazing 👏

First time eating here (08-10-2024) Food was excellent! I recommend the meat lasagna and the pizza they were both excellent. The house salad had a mixture of different lettuces which was weird to me. BEWARE: If you order the vanilla cannoli's there’s chocolate chips in them but they don’t mention that there’s chocolate chips on the menu. What if I was allergic to chocolate? How I know is I took a bite and could taste chocolate. I asked the waitress if there were chocolate chips in there and she said yes. I said I ordered vanilla though and she seemed not to care about getting me another one with just vanilla. I get kind of sick eating chocolate. We stopped by Mangia Italiana for dinner on a trip and were blown away by the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and bread to dip in it. Best we've ever had! 😍 We also ordered the meat lasagna and chicken alfredo, both were great as well! Definitely recommend trying their food. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were directed to the menus and given the choice to sit inside or outside. The wait time for food was quick and there is easy access to restrooms as well.

This is amazing Italian food. It’s an average looking building with a drive-through for food, but don’t underestimate the food quality nor the service, it was excellent.

So happy I discovered this restaurant! I tried the meatball chunks and cheese bread at lunch. The portions are large enough for two or for a second meal. The red sauce on the meatball chunks is sugo; it is sweet and may not be what you prefer, but it is still a thick and good sauce. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I chose outdoors and found a nice patio on the side of the building. The folks are friendly, helpful, and service is fast. I'm definitely going to return to try other dishes (especially anything with anchovies! Thank you for stocking those)!

I have been meaning to try this place for years and finally did! I arrived around 1130 on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. (It's a small lot) When I went inside it was very small & I did not see any seating so thought it was take out only, but one of the girls behind the counter asked if anyone in line was dinning in and gave us menus and directed us to where the seating was. It is a very small dinning area - one table for 6, 4 tables of 4, and then 2 booths (maybe 3) that could hold 4-8 depending on size and comfort of how close you want to be to others in your group. (Tables cannot be moved together to accommodate larger groups due to fire code! Don't be mad at the nice staff for this) There is also an outdoor area, but I did not venture there due to it being cold, but from inside it looked pretty! The food did not take too long at all to receive. The appetizers were huge and nothing short of amazing! I got the bruschetta and spinach artichoke dip...this was a lot for 2 & half ended up coming home. For the main meals, bow tie pesto with a meatball side and bow tie chicken marinara. Again....both of these meals were amazing! I loved that the chicken was cut up in bite sized pieces in my meal and not a big hunk or large slices. The meatball on the side was huge! Staff was extremely kind, polite, and friendly. I highly recommend this place - even if it's just take out, you will be impressed and enjoy it just as much!!

This is the best pizza anywhere! Just about everytime we drive down from Sioux City we eat here. The debate is usually over pizza bianco, super buffalo chicken, sweet heat, carne, or just regular cheese. All so good! But they are very popular so give yourself some extra time for the order to get done. There really needs to be more than one location!... Like in Sioux City :)

Mangia catered our daughters wedding recently. The delivery driver was right on time and the food was delicious! Many of the guests commented on how amazing the pasta sauces tasted. Ordered a pizza the following week and would say that it has been the best pizza we've enjoyed since moving here. Would highly recommend for your catered event!

The food it the best Italian in omaha. The searing is hard to get so make sure you get there early.

I’ve been coming here ever since I moved back to Omaha. I come at least five times a year but not anymore. The service is terrible! Who tries to insinuate that a child is not getting water for their water cup. Rude and weird. Why is the associate worried about what my child is doing? Either she is racist or a weirdo. Mangia’s will no longer receive my business. Happy ending, I went to another restaurant that has better pizza, I received excellent service, and saved money. Spend money where you are treated well.

Best Italian food in Omaha!! My personal favorites are the meatball sub, spinach artichoke dip and the chicken alfredo pizza, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I strictly get take-out, as there is not much room to sit inside. Also, so others don't see me inhale/devour my food! Love this place! The owners, Tony and Dana, are fantastic people, and I love supporting their business.

Check your carry out pizza before you leave. We ordered a half baked pizza to eat later in the evening. It was not what we ordered and ended up having to get something else to eat. Paying attention to details and surviving the customer should be a priority.

Small interior dining area ! Great food menu & selection ,good garlic rolls but ( served cold in Sicilian/ Italian restaurant 🤔) Limited parking & busy at lunch times . I loved marinara sauce & they offer good variety of sauces.

Ordered seafood lasagna, waited 40 minutes for the pickup time, went in at the time they gave me, only to be told they were OUT of seafood lasagna. What? Wait...you had 40 minutes to call me before I arrived. Ended up getting pesto bowtie pasta, it was terrible. Also got the free salad from a mix-up the day before, and it still was incorrect.

Really disappointing, upon arrival we learned they were only providing carry-out...

Stopped back in for lunch again, and again, glad I did! Got the pizza slice and salad lunch combo, which for the amount you get I believe is a great value. The pizza slice is fairly large, and the salad is also a decent size as well. Their house Italian dressing is really delicious as well. All in all the lunch special was right around 10 bucks with taxes. Definitely stop in if you're in the area and looking for a quick and tasty lunch.

Very cold, no service, high prices. We left before we ordered and went to Olive Garden.

We had our work Christmas dinner ordered from Mangia for about 45 people. We showed up for puck up and for some reason they lost our order that was called in about a week prior. They had our card on file . They communicated with us what had happened and said they will make it right . We had to make one order adjustment , which was fine. They made everything within maybe a 25 minute span. They adjusted the bill and gave us a tray of cookies for our troubles. I was understanding and know how busy it can be during these busy times. Everyone was super friendly and apologized several times. And like always the food was amazing. I will always be recommending Mangia for any work functions and family outings. Thank you.

Mangia is truly amazing. I have yet to have a bad meal. I usually come in for the lunch special because it is an amazing deal. You get a large slice of pizza, a soup or salad, and a soda for 9 bucks. The chicken alfredo pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Their 4 pepper soup is my favorite soup of all time. I love this place and will continue eating here regularly.

Mangia has been a favorite of our extended family for years. We’ve since moved away from the area and now rearrange our roadtrip routes just to grab Mangia on our way through Omaha, it’s THAT good! My personal favorite is their bolognese sauce- I compare every other restaurant’s bolognese to Mangia’s and none come even close. My husband loves their lasagna, and we also enjoy the Chicken Diane when we feel like mixing things up a bit. I wish they’d offer nationwide delivery- they’d have some pretty happy fans in Colorado! ❤️

I love this place! I’m just so sad that the dining room is closed during the weekends. I haven’t been able to eat there since they modified times for the dining room. Carry out is just not convenient for me. I hope they open the dining room back again during the weekends!

Meat Lasagna is unlike any I've ever had! Red sauce sweetness is a delicious surprise. The parmesan cheese baked into the casserole leaves a rich aftertaste. Lunch companion had Chicken Primavera with Alfredo sauce and bowtie noodles. The blend of broccoli, peppers and artichoke is subtle and the sauce is rich. The garlic rolls are soft like a dinner roll and lightly sprinkled with parmesan. Seating inside limited to about 8 tables/booths with plenty of customers. But very chilly inside due to weather outside turning cold.

Recently had Mangia Italiana cater our wedding. The Chicken Diane was fresh like out of the oven , served banquet style. Tony is a great chef and wonderful to work with as well.

This place has legit Italian grub. Everything I tried has been delicious. I recommend spaghetti with meat balls and garlic bread. Mangia baby!

Absolutely the best meatball sandwich I've ever had. Flavor, texture, consistency, volume... This has it all. Be forewarned, however, make sure the dining room is open or you're eating at a table nearby. It's very difficult to eat in a car without making a mess. 😂

I work just down the road and this is probably our company’s favorite lunch place. Their pizza is really good and they have a super reasonably priced lunch special that is ready to go immediately and has rotating flavors! I highly recommend this location as one of the best pizza spots in town!

We catered Mangia for our recent wedding rehearsal dinner and the food was AMAZING. Everyone raved about the quality and taste, plus we ended up with a lot of leftovers since their pan sizes are generous! We did the marinara sauce with penne and meatballs, Chicken Alfredo with bowtie, and salad/rolls. The food was very affordable for the number of people we served and we were very happy with the process. Bridget let us taste test a few different options to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and made everything super easy for us to decide. It was nice to not have to worry about Mangia with all of the other moving parts of the weekend. Thanks to Mangia for an amazing catered meal!

The pastas and sauce choices, meatballs and sugo sauce are our favorites. This is the BEST Italian in town. The seating inside is a bit rustic and limited but worth it if you choose to dine in. The take out will be 30-45” wait- so order early. Parking is a bit limited too- and the restaurant is bit hard to find Even with the less than optimal parking, limited seating and out of the way spot , this still rates as my top pick for Italian, it is awesome! They are always busy- which says a lot all by itself. Give them a try, you will be glad you did.

Excellent Italian Takeout option. We've had their food at multiple catered events through the years but this was our first direct takeout order. Pasta dishes, salad and pizza were all hot, fresh and flavorful. Staff was very busy but friendly as well.

Get ready for a story! About 13yrs ago my high school friend took me to Mangia. I was super excited when I passed by and decided to get sugo for dinner, remembering how good it was 13 yrs ago. When I went with my friend in high school it was very busy and I had a panic attack, she had to order our food for me because I was about to cry (I was only 16 and have multiple anxiety disorders), so I thought I’d redeem that tonight lol. I’m pretty disappointed with my experience today though :/ The (I assume) manager was just super rude!!! There were what seemed to be 2 lines, one where a sign said “order here” and one to the left of the sign which I assumed was a pick up line since everyone in that line told me they were picking up orders. There was just 1 person in the “order here” line so not having been inside since I was 16 I didn’t know there was only supposed to be 1 line. So I stood in line behind the “order here” sign. It’s pretty ridiculous that this even happened…the lady behind the counter started talking, asking about someone’s order, I was confused if she was talking to me but since I had just walked up to the counter assumed she was talking to the person who had already ordered and was standing on the left of me….she was talking to her but then got upset that no one was answering. She then asked me if I was the woman on my left I said no and the lady to my left said “oh that’s me! I’m sorry” The woman behind the counter stares at her and says “I need your signature” and pushes a receipt towards her, while turning to me and looking me in the face to say “god I was talking to you and you don’t even answer me” I moved out the way for the woman to sign her receipt and apologized to the woman behind the counter saying “oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize you were talking to me…” she just ignored me and asked who was next in line. The woman to my right says she was and I didn’t argue. She was picking up and order so I was a bit annoyed that I still hadn’t even been asked how I could be helped. After getting the other woman’s order the lady asked again who is next, I then asked “is this the line to order and that’s the pick up line? Or is this just 1 line here?” The woman behind the counter then says it is one line, I sighed kind of irritated as that was not clear and felt a bit embarrassed but frustrated. I got back in line where I had originally been standing before realizing everyone else had pick up orders. She could tell I was annoyed and asked me what my phone number is and I said I would pass on that. She asked “what?! that is how we look up your order what name is your order under then?” The people were still standing in front of me so I didn’t appreciate having to talk over them to answer her, she could have waited to talk to me until after they moved out of line….. After they moved I was able to walk up to the order counter to say “I don’t have an order, I haven’t ordered anything yet” she then asked what my phone number is again so she can look up my name, I told her “it’s my first time here, my name isn’t in your system” she just said “ok well what’s your order then?” After I finally placed my order she said “so you’re going to sit there and wait on that bench over there right?!” I just stared at her because I couldn’t believe how rude she was being. She then asked “right?!?!” And I just nodded….she said “ok good because you didn’t give me your phone number so I hope you don’t just walk off and leave because you won’t get your food since I can’t call your phone! I need your signature“ 🙄 I look younger than my age to most people, and I understand it’s a Sat night…but I don’t appreciate being talked to like a child. Another woman was upset that her food was supposed to be ready 30 min ago and the same lady who was rude to me had ignored her as well The sugo+meatballs were fine, not amazing and the portion was a lot smaller than when I had it in HS. It’s not abnormal for restaurants to reduce portion sizes as time goes on but it is disappointing. It was good but not spicy or well seasoned enough tbh

I've been looking for a good Italian restaurant for a very long time. I have tried many places but wasn't satisfied. Yesterday, I thought I give this place a try and I have to say this place meets my standard. The food is so good and high quality. Looks like they put a lot of passion into their food. It has the homemade vibes. It looks like a family owned restaurant. It's a homey feeling place. Also this place is close to my house so I'll be getting some take outs here often.

Want a fabulous Friday? Then head to Mangis Italiana for the soup of the day, 4 Pepper Sausage. A cream soup with, sliced Italian sausage and yes, four different peppers. That's just the beginning. The soup is silky and spicy. Not the burn your tastebuds spicy, flavorful with a nice heat. Thinly slice red potatoes that are not overcooked or mushy. The portion size was 12 ounces. A new favorite. Always enjoy their food, in house or catered. I dont do much catering myself but had to schedule for an event this week and talked with Bridget throughout this process. She has been the easiest, most personable person to work with. She knows what shes doing, the ins the outs the what to do what not to dos. Was a huge help!! Appreciate her, Big shout out lady! I rarely leave reviews. This place was so good that I had to leave one. Quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. For the price, it's unbeatable. I don't even know how to describe why it was so good, it just was. The thickness of the crust, the meat, the flavor...everything. Had some of the sausage bites as well which were excellent. I live in Gretna and I will absolutely drive all the way across town to eat here again.
