my girlfriend and I have been coming regularly over the summer… Megan the bartender is the best!! Always is interactive and paying attention. Plus makes custom margs for us to try. Sure there are a couple “nicer”, read fancy, places in town but this is our go to. Can’t beat it.

These folks are the real deal. Relaxing atmosphere, authentic cuisine, smiling staff. They plated and served our party of 18 within 3 minutes! Attentive to both adults and kids. Five stars, for sure.

Great food, great prices. Our favorites have been the tamale, served with rich mole, tomatillo dip, which is hearty enough as a meal itself, and choripollo. Margaritas are good. Atmosphere is typical Mexican restaurant. The restroom is not in very good shape, and you can smell the fragranced cleaning products. We don't live nearby, and still make the drive to eat here.

If there was any way I could rate this higher I would. This is a 10 star establishment being managed by 10 star people who for my family recently went way above and beyond anything we could have imagined. My mom loved the Fajita Grill. That is where she wanted to celebrate life’s special occasions. She was always there surrounded by family for birthdays, anniversaries, after her grandchildren’s events….. this is where she wanted us to meet and celebrate as a family. The fajita grill staff has always treated us as a family and are warm and welcoming. My mom recently passed away and as my family and I were going through the painful and sad process of trying to plan a special remembrance of our mother there were so many traditional options, but my mom was far from a traditional lady. Knowing how much mom loved Fajita Grill my brothers approached the owner and asked if we could use a part of the restaurant for a celebration of mom’s life. Not only did we get a part of the restaurant, they closed business for 4 hours so we could allow what appeared to be around 300 people or more come by and remember my mother, have a taco and grab my mom’s favorite margarita. It was a perfect venue and a blessed event and I will be forever grateful for what they did for me and my family.

Fajita has been a long time Tuesday night getaway. Two perfect reasons. Cheap wing deals that are pretty good with an assortment of flavors, favorites being teriyaki and lemon pepper. And cheap beer deals. Wide assortment of beers on tap. Dos Equis Amber is my first choice but they have the usuals like bud and coors. This place is usually jumping on a Tuesday but I've never had a long wait. Staff is friendly. There dinner combo is awsome, your choice of 2 Mexican style foods with rice and refried beans, or sub out the rice and beans for a 3rd food option. Recommend a burrito, taco and enchilada. But there all good. They have specials for everyday of the week. There taco salad is also delicious. Don't get me started on the margaritas, best I've had and I've been across the country and there still my favorite margaritas around. Go Fajita.

This was a hard call, and I wish Google would let me rate 4.5. I finally decided to just round up to 5. For Maine, this was outstanding, phenomenal Mexican food. The fajitas were excellent and plentiful. The beans and rice, the salsa, the chips, the draft beer options, the guac, all delicious. Overall, it was better than most of the Mexican food places up here, for sure. Probably 3rd or 4th best of all we've tried so far. The service was great, as well. Lovely ambiance, fast and attentive service, crazy fast food arrival. The only two reasons I would say 4.5: 1. I was disappointed in the quesabirria. It was delicious but absolutely NOT authentic quesabirria, which should be a seriously unhealthy meal. Fajita Grill's version was like a healthy version of the concept. The tortillas were dry, not soaked in birria before cooking. There was no melted cheese inside or out. The "consomme" had no fat and little seasoning. Overall, these were more like carnitas but made with beef roast, and served with something closer to au jus. Again, it was delicious... But it absolutely wasn't what I ordered, wanted, or would have chosen if I'd known how it would come out. I hope I get a chance to go back and try the poblanos. 2. The queso is served chilled, which shouldn't even be possible. Queso, good and real queso dip, should solidify when it gets cold. It should be too thick to even dip a chip in once it gets cool. The waitress warmed it, and it was as thin as water and tasted like it was walked through a room where queso was stored... But mostly it just tasted like crema. Again, overall the food was honestly delicious, but if you are Southern and you see quesabirria, al pastor, elote (they called it something else, but that's what it looked like) and other delightful surprises on the menu... Proceed with caution.

I have been to Fajita grill over 5 times now and I always say yes to going because it's convenient and a great hang out for a small dinner with friends. There is always parking out front, or in public parking at the end of the block. They are open a little later on weekdays than other places nearby, so that's nice too. There is a bar, booths and tables. There is outdoor seats by the river in the summer! The food though... Don't go in expecting anything amazing on your plate. Presentation wise, it's exactly as I'd expect (and love!) from a Mexican restaurant. Beans, rice, tacos, enchiladas, taquitos, some fun drinks and desserts. Fish, shrimp, chicken and beef options. All items are very well priced for early 2023. Right where I'd expect for $$. I have yet to have a dish that I say "yum" to. All 5 of the dishes I've tried are.... Ehh, it's fine. Hardly even "good". It pains me to write that because the people and the atmosphere and the location are top notch! They just need someone to revamp the recipes.
