You guys need to upgrade as well as answer the phone. I’m pretty sure you’re missing out on business when you don’t answer. Get up to date technology and start accepting tap. No one is walking around with cash nor a card anymore. Only if you would have answered the phone my coworkers and I wouldn’t have made a blank trip.#smallbusiness

It's the hole in the wall of restaurants but the owners are always friendly and welcoming! More than enough food per serving.

The Italian beef is my favorite, and the owners are wonderful and so friendly.

I love the gyro. The meat is perfectly seasoned. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the sauce it taste like straight sour cream and that’s about it. I always get the toppings on the side because it’s so big you can’t eat it all at once I can easily eat half and reheat the other half later. You definitely get your moneys worth!!!

I was okay. I got the italian beef but the beef was try. I was hoping for the sauce on the side. Just wasnt that impressed.

My favorite restaurant to visit for food from Chicago. I’ve visited this restaurant for at least 20yrs the Italian beef’s are amazing and so are the polish sausage. The husband and wife that run this restaurant are very nice humble people and they get your food out fresh and promptly

The food was ok. There's a lot of meat on the gyro. But the quality isn't the best. They remembered to charge me for extra sauce. But didn't remember to give it to me. I didn't care for the fries and there's no option to get the gyro by itself.

Food, awesome. No place to sit, no air conditioning. Philly cheese is excellent, fat Albert burger off the chain. Fries could be better. 2 phillys with fries $28 is bit pricey but worth it. Could throw in a soda, would be appreciated.

I been craving an Italian beef sandwich for weeks Today I googled Fat Alberts Then ventured out on an hour drive for one…. It was worth the drive

I tried Fat Alberts for the first time ordering a Gyro sandwich which was very good. Only thing I would have preferred a smaller size too much meat. I lived in Chicago and the Gyros were smaller in size which was perfect. Good food though!

When you want a small taste of Chicago this is the place to go to.

It's a okay spot to stop at to get a gyro on the go!!! No inside seating and always be aware of your surroundings near that area

This restaurant was a bad place to go for a combo was $10 with no drink lady had a terrible attitude ..Also food lack taste n also thrown together....That would be first n last time going there.I want recommended anyone to go there

My last time coming here... They won't answer the phone and they are never open! We literally pulled up and the sign says open- tues- Saturday 11-6 but yet it's wed 3:53 closed.. I have a group of ppl from Chicago wanting to support but we're over it...you all literally had ppl pulling up to support y'all... A woman drove all the way from Madison.

Used to be amazing but that philly steak meat they use is not the same as it used to be. Taste like deli meat and bologna now, the heart just isn't in it like it was precovid.

Delicious food. My husband had the Philly steak cheese and he said it was one of the best he had. I order the gyro and never seen anything that size before. It was enough for 2 people. Definitely will order again.

Very friendly woman working there and you have to wear a mask to enter/order 👍🏾. Went for the Italian beef sandwich it was not as good as I had hoped. They need to season the beef more and the American cheese didn't help provolone, swiss even would kick it up a notch also keep some banana peppers on hand and some of the didn't taste like they were cooked at all.

All the chi people, this is the best beefs and gyros in Jackson, yall wont the pizza puffs they at ez chicken of Northside Dr. They have beefs, I only eat Fat Albert's beef.my beef place is 63th and Ashton but FAT ALBERTS IS THE BEST BEEFS AND GYROS.

The same great food like back home in Chicago. Only if they served pizza puffs and that famous Chicago Mild Sauce, they will be on point. The are having trouble getting the Maxwell Street Polishes in but with this pandemic, it's forgiven.

I ordered two gyros for me and my babe on 7/15/21 and they were on point! I’m from the chi so I know how real gyros are supposed to be made and taste I was so overwhelmed because I haven’t had a gyro like that in years! I mean packed with lamb I’m thinking about going back today 👍

My favorite spot to get a big, filling gyro plus it's ALWAYS good & more than enough!! It's been over a year since they've been open but Saturday I came here & I got just what I've been wanting & it was awesome. They don't take call in orders no more, so you gotta go by there & place your order. I'm just glad they back open for business. Definitely put this spot on your to-do list.

The Gyro is so delicious!!! It come packed with so much meat!!! It can feed 2 people who don't eat much or it can satisfy one big appetite. If they would answer the phone i would actually eat there more so except to order and wait. The wait times isn't really bad tbh. Also the double cheese burgers is amazing!!!!

Ghetto location, fine food handmade by the owner. I had what was one of the best gyros ever for lunch today. It was comparable to authentic Greek Gyros I've had in NYC. Overstuffed, you can hardly close it. Order it to go because there's no where to eat it. This guys food is so good I also ordered a Philly to go for later.
