Great food and very good prices! The people are wonderful and extremely friendly!

The meals my cohorts ordered was much better than my salad. It was not the quality of the salads I get at the main restaurant off State Street.

To eat healthy and delicious I recommend them 200% and very friendly

Are a quick lunch here after a trip to the Capitol. It was a very quick “in and out” sandwich/Gyro grill… and the food was quick serve and great. Highly recommend visit if you are in the neighborhood and need a quick bite.

This counter order spot saved the visit downtown as we had followed directions to another restaurant that was closed. Gyros and the fries here were terrific and the littlest pick was pizza and that was one of their two options for children.

Stumbled upon this on a cross country trip when our original pick was closed. Super friendly service and good food in the heart of downtown.

I eat here for lunch when I can. Great place and busy only when you'd expect. Don't go for fine dining, but for wraps or an excellent burger and fries, you can't beat this. Excellent downtown Jackson lunch option.

First time visiting Keifer's, and I'd have to say it's really delicious! Enjoyed the fries the most, which was a surprise. Nice and crispy, and then the feta cheese sauce was delicious as well. Really enjoyed the classic gyro and it's very nice to eat your meal, inside or outside!

Has gone down hill. Years ago in their older location, the restaurant used to be great! Very attentive staff and food was on time and quite delicious. Now, it is extremely disappointing. Went for a return visit several months ago. Not sure what happened.. the staff is no longer attentive and the food was absolutely disappointing. The wraps are tiny and hardly no food comes inside. They have great potential.. it is too bad.

Chicken gyro was great. Curly fries were hard. Lady at the register ignored me like I wasn’t standing there but whatever.

Nice butthey must have changed the ingredients or the cook who prepares the appetizer "pita mot" cause it's not the same anymore. Not enough turkey or onions like it used to be. It was one of my favorite things to order but not anymore.

First time visit, out of towner. Very nice staff. Lamb hero was amazing and I don’t think it was lacking like others have stated. White chili also delicious. Well worth the cost.

Wow! The man at the counter was so sweet and kind as he explained the menu to us and made great suggestions! We were just passing through and thought this would be a fun stop. The food was delicious, I got the grilled chicken pita, my husband got the traditional gyro and our kids got the “pizza”! The hummus and house made chips are incredible as well! Such a cute atmosphere, so happy we stopped in, thank you for your hospitality!!

This was my first time there. It caught my attention with the patio seating outside. It was a gorgeous day. I was just saying how Jackson needed a place like this. Every time I passed by it the outside was full. The food was beyond delicious. The cottage fries, waters my mouth just thinking of them. I couldn’t decide so I brought home the shrimp sandwich (I just and gyro. Omg keep me away or I’ll gain weight. It’s the best place in town

Keifer's us such a fun, little place. If you enjoy "hole-in-the-wall" places with awesome food this is definitely the place! The chicken gyro is to die for and their curly fries are top notch! I definitely plan on visiting this place when I am in the city again!

The gyro is good in taste, but slightly lacking in size. The cost is $8.99 w/o fries or a drink. The average gyro in my travels and experience is about $10.00 some with fries and some w/o. All though, have been larger than this.

Yummy Gyro salad! I was able to call ahead and it was ready when I got there. Man on the phone was helpful. The air conditioner was a little cold inside. We were able to eat inside (which was good cause it was raining!)

This is walkable place from our work place and I enjoy going here as The Chicken Melt Salad is so delicious and the Curly fries are so good. The Gyro's are amazing and tastes yumm. The place is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helps to choose from the menu.

Wasn't sure what cottage fries were (basically imagine a potato sliced like bread and then fried), but they were pretty good and servings are perfect for lunch portions. Gyro was very good, and wrapped up to keep me from becoming a mess, which I really appreciated. Quick, friendly, and kept level heads even when a customer was complicating their order.

My vegetarian friend and I were hungry after a morning of sight-seeing - and this place was on our meanderings, trying to find a place for lunch. I saw what I thought was a place with veggie burgers BUT it wasn't. When the woman behind the counter saw my slightly disappointed face, she remedied the "problem" and made me (and my friend) a FANTASTIC improvised "burger" of piled high sauteed mushrooms, peppers, onions, fresh tomato slices and a yummy sauce on a big wrap. My friend and I were in HEAVEN. And the way the potato was prepped was a first-time for us both - and I wish I could remember the name the place had given it.

Genuinely friendly staff and a very fair amount of food. Potatoes seemed under-seasoned, but that's a small gripe.super fast lunch too. Seems like a great choice for someone working downtown.

Definitely recommend this place, the atmosphere is unique and inviting, and the gyro and cottage fries were very good. I wouldn't call it mind blowing, but 100% worth the price and the calories.

This cute, unassuming little eatery was the perfect spot for two friends to chat and have a lite dinner. Until Justin suggested the 'fries' ha. But our server-Justin was wonderful. He gave honest suggestions and friendly service. I would Def go back. Thanks for the great food!

One of downtown Jackson, MS jewels. The staff is friendly location is great. You may have to walk a little to the restaurant. That's okay, the view is peaceful. Love the curly fries seasoning great. The burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese I recommend. Enjoy!

We heard the other Keifer's location has beer and is a popular place with the locals, but we weren't able to visit it. .

The food is always great as is the wait staff who attend to your needs. Eat inside or out on the deck. Seating where you choose.

Good hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop, inexpensive. Best pita bread I've ever had...fresh...they must make it there. Try the house chips.

I went with associates from work to Keifer's it was the first time to go nice atmosphere homey with small rooms to dine in menu is simple. We ordered 2 appetizers one was the grape leaf. They came out not really sure what I am getting I can only imagine as a kid memories of eating Turnip greens or collards which I didn't like. These were well wrapped meat and rice in grape leaves nice spice and not what I was expecting no bitter flavor of the grape leaf very good. 6 or 8 on a plate they went pretty fast. One of the others ordered Hummus was freshly made with a pepper and oil in the middle and fresh pita chips very good. Then since I watch food TV and folks talk about it a lot I ordered a flafal as a wrap. It was very good crunchy fresh with Tzatziki cucumber sauce. Now when you have something you haven't had before it strikes a chord in the brain maybe or its just that good and I have missed out but it was very good. Not sure but one thing I know Keifers is worth a try and I wished they had a place like this in my area I would eat there more often.

I have been eating here since I was 7yo. Unfortunately, my family & I have been living out of state for the last 7 yrs. First meal upon arriving in Jackson this afternoon. Still the best gyros. Have been ordering gyros in Georgia,Florida, & TN. Not one can hold a candle to Keifers. We ordered the dolmathes,delicious! The salad with vinaigrette dsg was very good. For dessert, we shared baklava & the turtle cheescake. Awesome!Love the new location across the street. I am amazed at how they preserved the decor of the little house in former location. Thank you Keifers for staying wonderful. Now my little boy wants to know when we can come back. I assured him it will be very soon.

Keifer’s is a local favorite! I love taking friends there for a gyro and the cottage fries. It’s a more American take on Greek cuisine, but it’s definitely a hit with everyone I invite. The staff is always incredibly friendly and they have great outdoor seating.

Literally a hole in the wall, but I prefer this Keifers to the one in Belhaven - cozy spot for lunch downtown. Pita Mozz!

Keifers is a long time Jackson restaurant. They have great food. They are most known for their gyros. They have great customer service and acceptable prices.

I don't know why this place gets rave reviews. I've had a couple of meals here and thought that they were average.

Every time I go through Jackson I eat at Kiefer's. I love it!! I usually have the hummus, tuna melt, ham, or turkey wrap. You must have the fried potato as well! You can share one potato with 2 people. The food usually comes out fast. It is a staple in Jackson. My favorite spot!!

Their grilled chicken salad is amazing. The grilled chicken breast is a very generous portion and their dressings are amazing (Feta or Tzatziki). You can call in an order and pick up to avoid the line. Also, they have amazing curly fries. ;)

Best Gyros and great hamburgers. My favorites are a Gyro with a cucumber salad, (comes with fantastic feta dressing) and a large side of cottage fries to share. If you want something light. their Grilled Chicken or Greek salads are perfect with their premixed oil and vinegar or feta dressing. And iced tea, always iced tea. I have not ordered anything I didn't like, but those are my go to lunches. Fast service - all items are served on disposable paper-ware. Then go outside and find a table on the sidewalk under the trees facing the Governor's Mansion.

Keifers has a great selection! Good gyros and salads, as well as a big portion for each person. They also have incredible lemonade! It is a must go to place if you are passing through.

In a rush downtown and need food? Look no further. This is a decently quick meal with pretty much all the bells and whistles of the full location but missing the "come hang out and be lazy" ambience.
