Great patio on a quiet neighborhood street that is dog-friendly. The food and service rarely disappoint. Their takeout service is convenient, as well.

Service was great! I got the soft shell crab appetizer (ok), Tom kha soup (amaaaazing but skip the chicken in it) and Philly roll (ok). Vibes were great. I’d go again for the soup for sure.

Food was delicious and not over priced. The spicy spider was absolutely delicious! Not really spicy just completely flavorful! The service was wonderful, the waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere however was very outdated, It could use some remodeling, It looks like an old cafeteria.

Waitress doesn’t know her job well. She was very termagant. We’ve ordered tom yam soup. She told us that soup is spicy, but it was not spicy, and it’s not look like to tom yam soup, it was warm, not hot.We asked some spicy sauce, she brought dry sauce. I can continue, but I don’t want…It was not good experience to visit this restaurant

Love the atmosphere here, love that it is BYOB and they even gave us some glasses, the food was top tier and the server was delightful. Would come back!

Absolutely delicious. The sushi was delicious, the soup was delicious, the meat was delicious--even the water was delicious!!! Would've put a few photos of the food because the dishes look capital B BEAUTIFUL, but the food disappeared way too fast, haha. There were a ton of vegetarian/vegan options. There are also many options for things to add to dishes. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the Halloween spirit was ALIVE!!! I'm sure they are very delicious. Anyway, definitely recommended, come here to eat!!!

Great Patio, almost everything on the menu is delicious, service is good, no corkage fees for BYOB. Prices are great and portions are great. Both the Thai entrees and the sushi are fantastic. This is our favorite spot in Ravenswood! No cons really, just a great spot. I recommend getting a reservation if you want to get the patio between 6-8 PM though.

My friend and I dined here and were severely disappointed. Calamari was like eating rubber dipped in breadcrumbs and sand / gravel - poorly cooked with no flavor. Waitress's customer service skills were terrible and she couldn't be bothered to open a bottle of wine for us or bring us wine glasses - both a must at a BYOB place. We had maybe one dish out of four that was okay with the rest being really poor quality. We complained specifically about the calamari and the waitress shrugged. Beautiful outdoor seating and location yet completely wasted on a place where staff clearly doesn't care about quality. Not sure why people rate this highly - must be bots doing most of it.

Wowee is this place a delight! My wife and I went here for dinner shortly after they reopened for evening service. The staff is very kind, helpful, and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious! We both ordered soup for an appetizer, then moved onto a roll each, and then shared the spicy basil dish. The preparation of the dishes was very quick and were easily satiated with the portions presented. The inside seating is warm and elegant and the outdoor seating is pleasant enough, even by the street. I would highly recommend it if you're in the mood for sushi and other Asian inspired meals!

Wonderful neighborhood spot! Great sushi and Asian dishes. BYOB. We ate on one of the two patios (with our dog whom they brought water to unprompted) on a beautiful spring evening. The Thom Kha soup is delicious, as is the Pad Thai, Spider roll and Chicago roll. Great service, great ambiance, good prices, highly recommend.

Great sushi spot with excellent service! We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and maki rolls. The servers were attentive and helpful and all the food was delicious. Prices for the maki rolls were also quite reasonable and we got a variety of sushi. Highly recommend this restaurant for a great local sushi option!

Hate to only give it 3 stars (I’m rounding up) cause the service was quick, the vibe / atmosphere was nice and the prices fair…. but very subpar food. The spicy edamame is a large portion (nice!) but it’s very bland, just covered with salt and what tasted like Tajin (a Mexican spice). Sadly left most of it. For the sushi I got the Volcano roll… disaster. On the menu it says (mayo lover) but it was literally two tablespoons of mayo and rice, plus some imitation crab. I scooped majority of the mayo off but couldn’t remove the taste. Unfortunate. That said, it’s in the neighborhood and the place is cool, it’s byob, so I’ll give it one more try before crossing it off forever.

Fun is our neighborhood spot and we love their lunch specials. There is absolutely cheaper sushi around, but the quality is high at Fin.

Sushi was delicious, as was the service. However, it was a chilly afternoon; it was 27 outside and the place was cold inside. I ate in my insulated parka and was STILL cold! Turn up the heat please so I can enjoy my meal experience.

Great service and nice ambiance inside or out. We’ve eaten here during the day outside and in the evening inside and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves both times. The spicy miso is loaded with crisp, fresh vegetables and the sushi rolls were delicious. Chicken teriyaki and fried rice were also delicious and the presentations are nicely done.

Great gem in the neighborhood! Artfully done, and there are some pretty creative rolls. Everything tasted great. Also had menu items for non sushi eaters.

This is one of our absolute go-to places for Sushi. We have done take-out, delivery and dine in and it's always been spectacular. The sushi is fresh, the prices are reasonable and the staff is great. The other items on the menu (soup, salads, apps) are also all very tasty! A great little neighborhood gem for sure!

Great service! Our server was attentive. Lunch specials include good portions and reasonably priced. I ordered the salmon bento box and it was served with a generous amount of combination tempura. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Great, incredibly fresh rolls, pictured is the Snow Burn and Green Turtle. Got the bacon wonton as a starter and they were delicious, just give them a minute because they come out molten hot. Place is BYOB but should be a staple for anyone in the neighborhood.

Neighborhood gem is a term that gets tossed around but it qualifies. The shitake egg roll is one of the best egg rolls in the city hands down. The rolls were fresh. Snow burn roll was tasty as was the rainbow roll. All very fresh. And not a ton of plastic in the take out dishes (recyclable foil containers with plastic tops). So a step in right direction.

I recommend the bacon wontons for an appetizer, and the volcano roll and crunchy plantain roll for entrees. Love this place and I'll be back this summer!

Fin is such a cute neighborhood spot! Sushi is very affordable and they have lots of vegetarian options. The sweet potato tempura sushi is absolutely perfect! Plus it’s byob and you can sit outside in the summer

The best sushi I have had in Chicago in some time. Good pricing, GREAT quality rice and fish. If you dislike sushi that's a bunch of fried bits and sauce and you just want regular normal delicious sushi that won't break the bank, this is it. My first visit was today. I would go back for lunch every day if I could. Unsolicited 5 stars way, way up.

Ambience is the best. Nice and quiet. Eating outside is nice, except bugs and leaves keep falling on you. Been here twice and food was just ok. I'd only really go back because it is convenient. Going to give it one more go at lunch and see if it is better then.

Hidden gem in Ravenswood, love coming here with my gf for date night. They have patio seating on both sides and are byob.

We go here at least twice a month. It's the best sushi place in the area, if not my favorite and most consistent spot in Chicago. Always on time and the prices are really great as well.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Good food and friendly staff. My husband and I dine there a few times each month and regularly bring our friends and family there. They have great lunch deals and we love the patio area when it is nice enough to sit outside.

The food variety here is so great! It's like Thai and Japanese and also byob! Everything we had was awesome, the soups, appetizers and sushi! And also the salmon rice dish!

Went for a birthday celebration and enjoyed everything. Good service and great food. Even nonSushi food and you can use chop sticks or utensils. I had bacon fried rice with munsterella cheese, took leftovers home for two more meals. Also it is BYOB , so bring your favorite bottle. My 1st time here ,but other family members had been here before and have enjoyed delivered food to their home.

Such a cute little outdoor area. I would recommend any of the sushi rolls that have mango, they are delicious! We also enjoyed the calamari. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

If you are looking for reasonably priced sushi with large portions Fin Sushi Bar should be next on your list. Ordered a variety of rolls and cucumber seaweed salad. Many traditional rolls combined with unique speciality rolls. Loved the plantain roll. Service was super attentive and friendly. Found a table without making a reservation which was nice. BYOB was a nice touch. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back.

It's BYOB, so that's good. Had edamame, miso soup, gyoza, and several different rolls and everything was passable and average. Nothing stood out, just your standard typical sushi joint.

The sushi was good, not great. We sat outside and though they don't have any control over the trees, the stuff falling from the trees kept falling in my food/on my plate and hair.

The sushi here is okay. It wasn't the best sushi I've ever had, but it's great that it was in walking distance of the airb&b that I stayed at. Service is good and the servers are attentive.

The sushi here was really weird, it has strange flavors and they are stuffed with too much and ingredients you wouldnt get traditionally such as mozzarella cheese and bacon. The gyoza was amazing and the noodles dishes looked really good, but I didn’t have that. The sushi looks so fancy and the atmosphere really drew me in. It was very disappointing and I’ve had better sushi at every other place I’ve ever been too.

You pay a little more but it's reasonable. Everything we got was spectacular: miso soup, yellow tail roll, basil chicken (tastes like chicken sausage) teriyaki steak, tempura. The teriyaki steak was not the way we expected it to be or the way we have gotten it before but the taste was still wonderful . Love the outdoor seating, and service was fast and pleasant. Definitely will come back

Had lunch there with some friends and got the bento box. Delicious! Everything was extremely fresh, nice presentation and friendly clean service.

I love sushi and this is freshest I have yet to have in Chicago. The price point is fair. They have a great patio as well!

The sushi is good but I actually really like a lot of there non sushi entrees a lot more. They have a Lamb Curry dish that's very good. The restaurant is very cute.

We ordered on GrubHub. The food was great. We had a spicy tuna roll, negi hamachi roll, Alaska roll, gyoza, bacon wonton, and pad Thai. The bacon wonton were something new to us, and very tasty. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. If I had to complain about anything, it was that the wasabi was spicier than I usually find and had to be handled judiciously. Everything else was awesome.

I wasn't that impressed. The sushi from the grocery store is about the same quality. I ordered spicy tuna tempura and there was hardly any tempura on the outside. I also ordered an eel roll.

Good creative sushi rolls, nice outdoor seating, nice location in the Ravenswood neighborhood. We dined in (outdoor seating) and saw tons of people from the neighborhood getting takeout so you know it's a local favorite. We got the sweet potato roll, unagi q roll, and honey walnut. I've never seen a honey walnut sushi roll before and I enjoyed it. If you like honey walnut shrimp from chinese restaurants, definitely try the honey walnut sushi roll.

Sushi is tasty. Not sure if outdoor seating is truly 6 feet apart. Expect a bit of a wait time or call ahead if possible!

I got the lunch bento box and it was fairly good! The size of the rolls are fair considering the price. However, I got the spider roll as well and I couldn’t even finish it. I found it to be dry and odd tasting. I expected the crab to be raw, but it was deep fried. Odd combination. Even though I finished the bento box, I can’t say I would ever go back here again.
