This place is so delicious. I had the cobalt sandwich and the soup of the day. Love the relaxing atmosphere.

The last few times I have gone, they have been closed. I believe they are currently still closed.

Super cute, quaint cafe off the main road and across the hardware and fishing store. Friendly staff, home-made style sandwiches and cool quilts decorating the space. I had a COBALT sandwich with a side of Hungarian mushroom soup. It was just the right amount and pretty delicious. The coffee was slightly bitter for me, but if you like harsh, drip coffee you would probably enjoy it. Mellow vibes, lots of parking and the prices were affordable.

The Cafe' is very cute and inviting. I placed my order with the Owner. She was a very friendly lady. My order was packaged and ready in a reasonable time. I was very disappointed in the construction of my COBALT BLT. The crumbled bacon that might have equaled 2 strips was ridiculous. The taste of Avocado was barely noticeable. Definitely disappointing for the price! The food was tasty but the portions need to be reevaluated. The bacon and avocado should be in slices. Sadly, I will not return.

Went in because I thought this was a Cafe with just coffee but turns out it was a place to have lunch as well! This was one of those happy accidents that you come across. I love the atmosphere with all the plants, it’s a very relaxed environment, amazing prices, I love it. I will be coming here to study soon as well, great for students. And the food…SO good.

Friendly service and delicious food

Food is always excellent. Service is always wonderful and the owner is attentive to making sure people are happy with their food.

The Cafe has very good sandwich selections. Our lunch orders are so yummy and quick, we didn’t have to wait for a long time since we were hungry and left Homer in the morning. This is a place to stop for lunch. They are very honest hostesses. I left my entire purse on the table they kept it for me. One of them named Angel and she is a real Angel. They tried to find my phone number but no luck. Finally I realized I didn’t have my purse when we were in Seward at Exit Glacier with no cell coverage. My husband and I had to drive to find the spot so I could make a phone call to the cafe which is in Soldotna and it is about 90 miles away. Angel who waited for us when we had our lunch and said that they held my purse and made efforts to contact me before we drove too far and also she said she would come to Anchorage (I’m residing in Anchorage) and would bring my purse which I got it on Saturday morning. Phew, what a relief. Thank you Angel and Fine Thyme Cafe.

Come for the atmosphere, stay for the food. Not the place to come for a quick lunch, but if you have the time to sit and relax it is a nice place. Good portion size and a simple menu. Definitely somewhere I would eat at again.

Place was rude both times we’ve been there. Came in at 3;30 and asked if it was ok to get a quick bite to eat we wouldn’t stay long, lady rudely responded “want to get it to go? It says on door closing at 4 so..” and gave us rude glare was not welcoming or friendly . Lock doors if want to close at different time, made my elderly grandma walk back out and into car. We are going elsewhere with our business .

Was so excited, but had a super disappointing experience! Poor service, food was comparable to (maybe even worse than) an elementary school cafeteria, and the 'chai' was straight milk. Walked in with a smile on my face, and instead of being greeted just as warmly, a girl rudely approached and asked 'dining in or taking out?' I thought about leaving right then, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. She proceeded to mumble a few more questions at me, motioned toward the stairs and walked away. I started walking up the stairs, and then asked if she meant a particular table. She pointed at one, which must have been part of what she mumbled earlier. The flat, rude tone and poor service continued throughout the less than 30 minutes I was there, despite how I tried to keep a smile and lighten her mood. I ordered their take on a BLT, which was $13, ridiculously priced for what I was served. I asked the waitress if it'd be possible to add turkey, she agreed, but failed to tell me I'd be charged $4.25 for the grocery store pre-packaged turkey they threw onto the sandwich. The bread was dry and crumbling apart. $25 for a sandwich and chai latte is not totally unexpected in Alaska, but for such poor quality all around, as a young person who works in the community, and as someone has worked in food service, I was definitely a bit upset. Would not recommend this place in the slightest. Only positive is that it is a cute, quaint little building.

The KONA CIABATTA was absolutely AMAZING!!! I highly recommend stopping by here if you are looking for delicious, very reasonably priced food. The staff were also super nice. If I’m ever in Alaska again, I will definitely try to come here again!

Wonderful homemade soups and sandwiches. This was our favorite restaurant in Soldotna because the owner cares about the quality of the food she serves. The quiche was excellent. There were different soups and quiches each day.

Great to be back to a favorite though not regulars or locals. Hours are short M-F 10-4. Not open weekends. Tasty original foods such as Cows in the Pea Pod Soup....Yummy! Always friendly restaraunt proprietors. You will enjoy the experience.

The food is wonderful and the staff are family friendly. The wait isn't long and it's a great place to eat. The food can be quite expensive but it's worth it. I love the place because you can sit inside or outside with great food. I would give this a 10 stars if I could.

I love this cafe! It has an open concept between the four shops that are located in the building. The service is always great here and the employees are always friendly. The food is delicious and I never leave hungry. I love coming here and telling people about this cafe.

Came in on a Saturday. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Had the Kona Ciabatta, pasta salad, and the Avocado, Bacon, and Sour Cream Quiche. Delicious! Loved the flavors. I'd definitely dine here again.

We picked up food from this cafe, when driving from Homer towards Anchorage. We had the Kona Ciabatta and a chicken wrap (this was on the day’s special menu). Portion size was not that big, but food was really good. Even the side of Pasta Salad was very tasty.
