I grew up in Toccoa so it's a rare treat when I get to go "back home" and get a Maryland Fried Chicken biscuit. I got there just after breakfast ended on this specific trip through and was bummed but the counter person worked it out for me. These biscuits will make your tongue slap your brain out. The fried chicken is pretty dang good, too.

This is arguably my favorite food on earth. They really don't have anything that isn't good. Their fried chicken is the bar I hold ALL fried chicken too. Their biscuits are HEAVENLY. Lunch or breakfast I can't recommend this place more. Do yourself a favor and try Marylands TODAY.

Always the best fried chicken around. I always get a chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit. I wish they were open later and for lunch, but whatever they need to do to keep the doors open for breakfast is fine by me.

The food is fantastic. The only downside is the long wait in the drive thru, but know they constantly have problems keeping employees since Covid. I'm just glad they can stay open. As far as atmosphere, there's not alot you can do with tables and chairs. It's more of a working peoples place to eat, not fine dining. Lol

This was the absolute best breakfast I have had outside of home in a long time!!!! I would eat there everyday if I lived closer. I promise you, if you're looking for a cat head biscuit like grandma used to make, this is the place to go!!!!!

They don't serve chicken and lunch anymore. Drove from an hour away to find this out. Tried to call before I came but no one answered. Big disappointment.

Update 4/6/22: I haven't been here in a while. Upon placing my order for fried chicken today, I was told that they only serve breakfast. So...that's something new, I guess! This was my first visit to this place (on a rainy foggy day). I went to the drive-thru. They had to cook some wings so I ended up having to park and go in. The chicken wings and biscuit were delicious and I plan to revisit as soon as possible (preferably on a good weather day!) to try their breakfast and other items eventually. Update: I've gone back twice since my first review and have not been disappointed yet. (Neither have those whom I have shared food with). I prefer the Maryland chicken over the crispy chicken. I was disappointed that they didn't have any cake even though it's on the menu.

Very long line out onto the road. Waited for about 25 minutes. But the service was very good and so was the food.

Absolutely, the best Biscuits and Chicken in town. Biscuits are so flavorful, fluffy and never packy. The Chicken is crispy and seasoned perfectly. The slaw that comes with the dinners is the best I've ever eaten. There is a wait time. Unless you do a call in and pickup. But is worth the wait time if not ordering ahead.

The absolute best breakfast in Toccoa!! Their biscuits are delicious, they are homemade and they are huge! They really pile the meat on! There's usually a little wait in line but I promise it's definitely worth the wait! I'm addicted! Also the staff are very polite and they never mess up my order.

Maryland's in Toccoa, Ga has the best breakfast. The tenderloin with gravy is my favorite their cathead biscuits are so moist with a flaky crust on top. (DELICIOUS) My uncle loves the fried chicken livers for lunch.

I recently discovered this AMAZING PLACE!! In all of my 44 years of living, I have NEVER had fried chicken that tasted this good and so juicy until NOW! If I could eat here everyday I would! It's worth every minute you have to wait in the drive thru. And let me tell you theres almost always a long line. But I would wait till I run out of gas just to get me some Maryland's Fried Chicken . My favorite is the chicken tenders. They are so big and juicy. And 3 is all I can eat. Bless these sweet people that work here too. Always friendly service. And ALWAYS HOT FRESH AND FLIPPIN AMAZING FOOD!! 10 STARS💫💫💫💫

I consider myself a lover and a connoisseur of fine biscuits, and I’ve eaten biscuits from all over the southeast and made a few of my own. I’d probably say in my 37 years of living I’ve probably eaten 10,000 of this breakfast item, and consider my grandmother’s Cathead biscuits from my childhood as the best of the best! They were slightly crusty outside and perfectly moist and fluffy inside, not too doughy but not too dry either. I say off this to lead into the fact that I have been in pursuit of the perfect biscuit ever since. Well I’ve found it!! Maryland Fried Chicken makes the perfect biscuit!! It rolled me back 20 years to my youth and grandma’s awesome biscuits!! Also makes sure you eat the chicken, whether it be strips or bone-in pieces, or on the amazing biscuit!! Only word of caution is the strips are huge, so eat about half as many as you would normally eat!! Thank you Maryland Fried Chicken for such an amazing meal!! I will most definitely be back!! Update: Went back on a Saturday morning for the chicken biscuit and didn’t even mind the 30-40 min drive thru wait because it was still the best restaurant biscuit I’ve ever had!

Had fried chicken and biscuits for lunch, biscuits are the beat I’ve ever had. Chicken was very good, a little greasy and a touch salty but still some of the best chicken I’ve had. Thank goodness I don’t live close by, would eat there way too often!

While on our mini vacation, my daughter an I came across this little hole in the wall restaurant, an it looked as there wouldn't be much to it.. but inside the atmosphere was welcoming an inviting. The food turned out to be Excellent!!!, True southern food cooked the way it was ment to be. An the biscuits YUM. Yes we will go again.
